Sophia then knelt down on her knees from a severe headache. She tried to fight it off, but her injuried became crucial and it weakened her. Layla cried out her name as she rushed over to aid her. As she seen Lisa storm away from the scene in a heart-beat, Layla was barely left to handle everything else. The others inside Leserado from various floors are too busy with dealing with Black and his associates.

Zooming in at full speed once her transformation was completed, two of the army’s best hopes had finally arrived in time for one last battle against Marscilla Erisa in mortal combat. The stakes grew even higher than expected once Marscilla was gaining the upper-hand.
It had been over forty-five minutes since Hiba was defeated, but Marscilla was mortally exhausted from the battle and she could still barely move.
Appearance deep within an ocean of black smoke after the two entities crash-landed onto the surface. It caught the Erisa member’s eyes with awe. She was still too busy recuperating with herself.
Staring up, she saw Lola in suit of red armor, covering her shoulders, arms, both her hands gloved and legs. The heels of her were armored as well with only her naked stomach exposed. Her hair was in silky-red, longer than from a few feet pass her neck to the lower back. She wielded a flaming sword with a cardinal cross-guard and two-sharp edges designed in the wings of a phoenix. The sharp end of sword obtained the beak that’s easily impenetrable.
The gang was stunned. It was made clear they went through symbolic transformation while they were both buried deep inside Lorashisasha’s burning cocoon. Hiba, who slightly rolled the upper half of her body couldn’t help but notice the sudden change. It was as if they were different creatures from another realm. Amazed and awe-struck at the same time, Hiba then tried standing, but noticed she still had a severe headache. The best solution for her, was to close her eyes and allow the Aruba and Mizuka combatants to handle the rest while she and the others rested.
Lola gawked over at her daughter-figure. The energy that was absorbed by the darkness had quivered in fear by the divine blue bell kimono. On the back of the outfit was an image of a yellow-beaked blue-jay with a series of honeydew angels circling around the stilled animal.
Crystal’s hair was purely white, Han-purple eyes as she wielded a platinum-metal staff with the small animal texts written in Japanese text. However, during the alternation, the Diary Symbols were marked on different parts of the frame of Crystal. She was surrounded by beautiful blizzard that had its’ own set of volumes of lowering down.
Crystal’s entire life was about to forever. Before the battle had begun, she saw her childhood comrades barely under a radar; as far as their conditions were. It troubled her and it made the scenario a lot more difficult than what it already was. Even during their fight with the darker side of her character, their battle damages accumulated.
Floating in the air out of surprise, Crystal remembered how she was able to do it.

(Over thirty minutes minutes ago)
“Remember this, Crystal: The amount of time the Diary Symbols can be used is once every twelve hours. However, the amount of time that you use the Diary Symbols, it’ll put a huge strain on your body if you exceed the time limit. Only one hour is legit, since you're at a young age. By the time you hit twenty-one, it'll develop even further. I’d respectfully advice you fight intellectually instead of harder,” Diamond stated, placing both her pale hands on her daughter’s cheeks and kissing her forehead. “You can do it. I believe in you both.”
Stunned by just enhanced choice of words from the Aruba Goddess, Crystal felt that if she’s willing to die, then that’s her choice, unless Lola’s willing to back her up. Ascending to the Diary Ritual is one thing, defeating Marscilla will be ten-times harder.
“Well, go be a hero, Crystal,” Diamond stated. “I shall explain everything to you once the battle is over. Your friends are in need of help.”
“Why can’t Lola assist me?” Crystal seemed confused. “Even if she couldn’t tell me the truth for fifteen years, that doesn't give me the right to not assist Lola in this grieving battle.”
Diamond soon realized that Lola’s also raised Lola to speak her mind and think of what’s going on in her heart.
“You say go be a hero, right, Mom? Why can’t I and the rest of the warriors be heroes for once instead of separately?”
Diamond then smiled and noticed that dead heroes can’t fight in physical combat, but will be able to encourage the living to keep fighting even harder.
“That is correct. Dead warriors can’t fight the living,” Diamond laughed gently, warming both of their hearts like it’s nothing. She then winked at the two. It made, even the General, blush in embarrassment. “Lola, thanks for everything. I’ll leave it to you two to fight. Farewell.”
A flash of light boomed in front of their eyes and before they even suspected it, they were both back on Intoxia; leading up to the events that’s occurring right now.

Crystal took a deep breath and relaxed herself. She then opened her eyes and gazed over at a weakened tyrant. It didn’t take too long before she released her sword and positioned it to her left side. Lola had done the same, but with one arm wielding the weapon.
Marscilla’s left eye was cocked as she saw Hiba trying to aid herself into rejoining the battle. It was frustrating her that a warrior that was above her was more than capable of outwitting her in various ways.
“I’ve waited for this moment my entire life. I will penetrate both your hearts before you even get a chance to say, ‘checkmate,’” Marscilla took the term of Chess into consideration, despite all the training she had kill herself through with Black’s methods of winning combat battles and strategizing. “Crystal, you may have been outsmarted by Black last month when he was training you, but let’s see how well you can handle yourself with Lola at your side.”
“I don’t have any tolerance of evil spirits wondering this world with the purpose of anarchy. If anything that comes to this world to eradicate it, it won’t be long before it’s sent back down Devil’s playground,” Crystal replied rather confidently. “I have watched you take my Mother’s life in cold-blood. I may not know what the reasoning was, but it’s only fair that I retaliate.”
Lola smiled warmly. Rare and surprising to everyone.
“What the hell are you smiling for, Mizuka?” Marscilla demand an answer as she slowly stood up and managed to revert back into her demon form. “I will use the last will of my strength to kill the both of you and I’ll be sure that your friends follow.”
I can’t let her get anywhere near those guys. As much as they’ve done to me in the past, I may not forget about it, but I won’t use it as an excuse to hate them, Crystal thought to herself. “I have a proposition, Marscilla,” Crystal said to the tyranny woman.
“Hmm?” Marscilla seemed puzzled. Lola wasn’t surprised, realizing the fight was going to be taken to another level and it would need to be kept in a ghost area. “This is interesting coming from the daughter of the former General.”
“Don’t get too cocky if you do that, Crystal,” Lola warned respectfully. “Going against a Bloodlust Revelation member that’s in good condition can be a lot more crucial and stressful as it is.”
“Then I’m fine with it. After all, that was one of the other laws that I’ve learned about the Avarian Beast of my family: Never Fight The Wounded Or The Weak. That's not how you progress into growing stronger."
Lola did remember reading a page from one of the books from a while back. It surprised her for a split second, but ultimate she then recapped her remembrance of it. She forgot which one it was, but she remembered that quote very well.
“If you wish to do that, Crystal, then by-all-means necessary. I wouldn’t mind, myself, having a fair fight to test my new skills and all.”
“Alright, I think— Ow,” Alex felt an agonizing pain in his right shoulder before he resumed his sentence. “I think you two are getting a bi
t too cocky with these new forms. Lola, you still look sexy as hell, I’m not going to lie. Crystal, you’re pretty awesome. Like, literally.”
“She’s so cool,” Sonya exclaimed as she was helped by Hitachi. Moments later, she then stated something very positive to Crystal. “Crystal, if you survive this fight, I want to let bygones be bygones. But for right now, give her the biggest ass kicking of a century.”
Lola giggled, nodding her head in disbelief, acknowledged the support.
Crystal then smiled in return and replied with an answer, “Don’t worry. I’ll perform at my best and be sure we all make it home alive. I promise, big sis.”
Mind-struck at what she heard from the Aruba’s choice of words, Sonya felt a more relaxed and embracing aura flying at her.
“The one thing that we need for you all to do is get out of Leserado as soon as possible. We’ll catch up to you once this mercenary duel is over. I promise that we’ll survive.”
“You better or I’m cussing you out when we get up there,” Alex exclaimed with a frustrated glare on his face.
“Oh, c’mon, dammit,” Hiba complained, standing up after her wounds here strangely healed. “Huh? My wounds are healed. Guys, where the hell are your battle scars?”
The others peered down at the ‘supposedly’ damage Marscilla had inflicted upon them Crystal and Lola’s short absence.
Crystal then explained the reasoning, “When Lola and I both burst through the flamed cocoon, I had expanded my Healing Mist powers across the battlefield and secretly healed you guys. You didn’t notice it until you all started moving in a stabled motion.”
“Oh, that’s pretty cool,” Hitachi reacted rather happily. A few moments later, he swallowed some of his pride and saluted the General and commented on Lola’s title. “Thank you, General Mizuka.”
The whole Blue-Eyes Fortress drowned into unmitigated silence.

Chapter 53 – Battle For Revenge
***
Lola’s expression adapted by the time Hitachi had turned his body in the opposite direction. She was going to say something in return, but all she wanted to show was her appreciate that he’s accepting her for more than just his mother. Hence that the amount of time she, as a single parent, wanted to do so much for him was barely going to waste.
Still stuck at what she wanted to say, she then stormed her way behind Hitachi and embraced him with her arms around his neck. She gave out a flare kiss to his cheek and wanted to make her statement.
“Hitachi. I want you to feel honored and privileged that you’re the son of one of the most powerful women on this planet. Just be mindful that you’re still my only son and I’ve made you into an Intoxia Warrior. All of you, including those whose lives I’ve changed. Don’t keep looking down on your comrades when it’s always appropriate to consider them your rival. Alex, I’m looking at you, mister. Sonya, Crystal’s never had any siblings in her life and it would be very beautiful if allowed her to look up to you as an older sister. Because there was some time ago on her eighth birthday that she wanted to look up to you so much to the point where she realized she never had to be scared of anything again.”
Sonya gawked over at the Angelic Warrior of the Army. She felt beads of sweat pouring down across her face. She took deep breaths, lowering her head down. Crystal flew passed Marscilla and cocooned the Amili heroine with her arms. The tears had bled through the feisty blue-haired warrior’s eyes and down to her cheeks. She didn’t know what to say or how to react or consult herself with that type of emotion.
Luckily, Crystal knew exactly what she needed to do make sure that no one’s allowed to be feeling sorry for themselves any more than they’ve already had from the beginning of their relationship.
“Sonya,” Crystal’s voice was warm and innocent. “If there’s anything you wanted to say. I know that you’ve done wrong to me, but that doesn’t mean you’re that kind of person.”
The scene was giving Marscilla a headache, not wanting to deal with all their emotions spilling across the battlefield of Blue-Eyes Fortress.
“I’d love to interrupt this touching moment, but I most certainly would like to get rid of the two people that you all hold dearest to,” Marscilla’s voice nearly erupted, unsheathing the blade from behind her.
Crystal and Lola turned their heads in the other direction after hearing the nasty treatment the Erisa tyrant mercilessly uttered. It enraged the two of them to go full throttle. Neither of them were going to waste any more time in allowing their enemy to get the upper hand no more.
“Guys, you’re need to get as far away from Leserado as possible. If Crystal and I can’t make it back, then this will be my final orders to you,” Lola stated ominously. It then began to frightened them. “I know what I said sounds scary, but we’ll both do whatever we can to stop her. I finally understand the reason, Marscilla.”
Lola had a pillar of red mist whirling around her. “The reason why you really killed Diamond in the first place.”
“So it took you long enough to figure that out, huh?” Marscilla applied Lola’s concerns about her actions. “Despite that Diamond took my child away from me for having the blood of a demon and now I stripped her of being a mother because she’s consistently lied to you all about how much of a hero she was. I had been given the permission to kill Diamond when she was highly vulnerable.”
Crystal couldn’t say anything. In addition, she thought about trying find an understanding of the monster’s actions. She’s read various stories where people have always had thought their motives for vendetta was justified. However, in this case, the reasoning wasn’t as vivid as Crystal had suspected.
“Your actions for my Mother’s death are absolutely inexcusable,” Crystal quoted angrily. “There was no honor in you attacking a helpless individual who birthed her child two days prior to her death. There was no honor in you saying that ‘you and I both have something in common. Throwing away your humanity for what she wanted to do to protect you wasn’t enough so you had to go against Black’s orders to sparing her life?"
Gasping horrifically at what Crystal said, it was clear to Lola that Black had intended to keep his word and not let anything happen to the deceased woman. Suddenly, his plans had completely disintegrated, even if he wanted to really take Diamond’s life, it’d still bring him no satisfaction. Since they’ve been fighting for the longest time, even since the Ujikadaka Academy as rivals, it wasn’t very simplistic for him to go that far.
“Yes. I knew that Black wasn’t fooling anyone. I had no other choice but to lead myself into killing that bitch for taking my child away from me. But that’s fine though. Since I couldn’t get the chance to raise him then it was a possibility that Diamond wasn’t going to have the chance to raise you either, Crystal. Besides, I don’t even understand why you’re getting so hostile about this. It was more than enough to please me that Diamond died that day. You should’ve seen the look on Lola’s face. It was hilarious seeing her cry with Diamond dead in her arms. There wasn’t a damn thing the witch could do to save her.”
Remembering what Lorashisasha stated a while ago, Lola couldn’t allow her enemies to manipulate her actions or mindset of what she’d do if mere insults got into her head. She allowed Marscilla to slide with words, but not compared to what she’s going to do to her.
“Alright, Marscilla. Perhaps you were never meant to be a mother and I’m glad that Diamond got the job done for us. So let’s make this quick and painless. Not to mention that there’s a lot more to you to answer; that’s only if you’re not dead,” Lola stated with her green eyes closed. The room was suddenly cleared out, leaving the three fighters alone.
Kuronina had remained in the same spot, praising that Crystal could use her Diary Symbol powers a lot better than the previous hostess could.
I must admit, I am glad that I decided to give Crystal the opportunity to be my hostess. Somethings that I just can’t expose her to. So, we’ll see how she can maintain it. I’ve been
training her spiritually while she was trapped in her dark mind. But for a weird reason, when she was in her darkest state, Black seemed to have trained her with using my powers to harm others and yet he showed her how to use it. Like’s he’s used before. Maybe something happened right after the Leserado War took place. I could be mistaken, Kuronina’s thoughts about the Leserado War had become theories. Otherwise, why would the Grim Reaper be more understanding of the Symbols.
The grounds of the Fortress tremored because of the chilling vibe coming from these three. Marscilla gawked over excitingly, but in a more remorseless way and had so much to offer with these two standing in her way for revenge. It didn’t take long for Crystal to realize that this is by far the biggest fight of her life.
“I’m going to enjoy hurting you two slowly as I begin to devour your flesh and bone with each passing minute,” Marscilla stated menacingly. She felt her owl-yellowed eyes growing annoyed and hungry for nothing but anarchy. “The theories that you’ve all heard about Diamond self-murdering herself wasn’t accurate.”
She then released the sword from behind her back and exposed the weapon she used against the woman fifteen years earlier. It became a message that it’d be the same one she’d eliminate the Mizuka General and the Aruba Intoxia Warriors with.
“You both must be bored with me hearing myself talk. So I’ll get straight to the point and just finish this battle,” Marscilla wasted no time in bolting her entire frame across the nearly, blue-concreted grounds with her blood running wild as she and Lola’s weapons hammered into one another.
Moving in from the side, Crystal’s sword was on the verge of attack, but Marscilla reeled herself backwards and tried to maul Lola’s in the chin with her foot. Instantly, the General escaped the attack and launched three sets of Flaming Spheres at the enemy with her arms manipulating the movements of their speed. Marscilla thought twice as she used her sword to strike the Flaming Spheres.
