Zaria trembled as her orgasm pulled her tight and her men’s cum filled her.

She stared into Cade’s eyes and saw the first stirrings of emotion and her heart filled. She was going to get her man and his man, too.

Cade groaned as he pulled from her body. He held himself on his hands and kissed her lightly before leaning over to kiss Zan. “Baby,” he murmured. “I want to do this again.”

  Chapter Twenty-Five

  Zan laughed. “Cade,” he murmured.

“Me, too,” Zaria said. “You both were amazing.” She looked up at Zan and then back at Cade.

“You were out of this world,” Cade told her. “I never liked sex with women this much before you.”

She laughed. “Hmm. I must have a magic touch.”

“A magic pussy,” Zan teased and kissed the back of her neck. She giggled.

  “Where were you?” Cade asked.

“Outside,” he said sobering. “It all looked the same except for the clouds.”

“What’s wrong with them?” Cade demanded, climbing off the bed and rushing to the window.

“They’re there, Cade,” he said. “Once we’ve showered and dressed we can go out and look around some.”

Cade looked at them. “I think me and Daisy connected last night after everyone passed out. What do you think that means?”

“We won’t know for a while,” Zan said and kissed the side of Zaria’s neck before Cade pulled her to her feet and she kissed his chest. “Let’s just not speculate.”

“Good idea,” Zaria said and led Cade into the bathroom.

After a quick shower, Cade dressed hurriedly, eager to see what the transformation had brought, and he wondered if it was over. They headed out into the main living area to the scent of coffee and bacon.

“There were only a few changes so far,” Kel told them. “Winter flowers and red soil.”

  “All over?”

“That will be hard to hide from tourists,” Zan said.

“Glad you guys are starting to drag your asses out here,” Dade commented from the kitchen. “I got a call this morning,” he said. “I’ve got to head into town. Seems Jarvis and a few of his buddies were killed last night. Alexa is calling for sanctions on you, Zan.”

  “What? Why?”

“Yeah, well, with Jarvis dead we all know who’s mayor now,” Dade said with a shrug.

  “I was here all night.”

“We know,” Kel said. “Nothing’s going to stick and Wilson will investigate to keep things impartial.”

“Right,” Dade agreed. “I’m off though. I need to check things out in town; see if there are any dead humans.”

“Other than Jarvis and his pals?” Rhys asked, coming into the room. “Assholes got what was coming to them I bet.”

“Yeah, well, don’t be so judgmental, little man.” He wrapped an arm around Rhys and pulled him against him for a slow kiss. “Be a good boy while I’m gone.”

“Dade.” He slapped his chest. “Go to work.”

Zaria smiled. “Maybe we had enough minds to filter the energy through after all.”

“Maybe,” Travis said coming into the room with his mates on his heels. “I just hope it’s over because I don’t think I can take another energy rush like that.”

“Me either,” Zaria said. “It was brutally painful, felt like I was being pulled apart until…Cade, what did you do?”

“I asked Daisy the same question,” Travis said.

“I still have the same answer, I don’t know,” she said and wrapped an arm around his waist. “I couldn’t stand to see you in pain. I just remember thinking I’d die for you.”

“I thought the same,” Cade admitted, ducking his head and Zaria kissed his cheek.

  “Thank you.”

He gave her a little smile. “No thanks necessary. That’s how it is when you care about someone,” he told her and Zan smiled when Cade looked at him.

“Maybe the Utarian and Barrian strength was all that was needed,” Dade murmured. “I’m sure when the power began filtering through the others they did what we did. They rode it out without trying to fight it. Some of the western and southern elders are powerful enough to handle the power shift.”

“As we were,” Keyos said with a frown. “But we need to study this and do more research. We have to be prepared if another transformation is coming.”

Zan nodded. “Well, Cade and Daisy can handle it while the rest of us get to work,” he said. Zan gave Zaria a hug and kiss before pulling Cade into his arms. “I can’t wait to see what magic you and Zaria bring into my life.” He looked at Zaria as he said the last, and she went to them, allowing Zan to draw her into his arms for a tight hug.
