ANGELINA MUÑIZ-HUBERMAN was born in 1936 to Spanish parents in France and immigrated to Mexico at a young age. She is the editor of anthologies of Sephardic literature and the author of Enclosed Garden.
ROSA NISSÁN is the author of Like a Bride, which was made into a movie, and Like a Mother.
YOYNE OBODOVSKI, a Yiddish writer, first lived in Argentina and then in Chile before settling in Israel in 1965. He wrote satiric sketches of Jewish immigrants.
VICTOR PERERA (1934–2003), a Guatemala-born journalist, wrote The Cross and the Pear Tree: A Sephardic Journey.
JOSÉ RABINOVICH (1903–1977), originally from Bialystok, immigrated to Argentina. He switched from writing in Yiddish to writing in Spanish. He wrote El violinista bajo el tejado (The Fiddler under the Roof).

He wrote short stories, which are collected in three volumes published between 1955 and 1974: Der gerangl (The Struggle), Di mishpokhe (The Family), and “Tsvishn vent” und andere dertseylungen (“Within Four Walls” and Other Stories).
