Witness Protection: Moving Target Page 53

Angie moved from one breast to the other, over and over again. She couldn’t get enough of Del’s taste. She licked between her breasts and up Del’s neck. When she got to level of her ear, she began to move down Del’s strong jaw towards her mouth. As Angie neared her mouth, Del moved her head and captured her mouth, holding her against her mouth with her hands, and deepening the kiss. Angie moaned into it. She didn’t care that it was all teeth, lips and tongue.

Del let her set the pace. She knew that this was the last time they might be together and be free. She broke the kiss and held her body against her, needing the skin to skin contact between them. Angie didn’t disappoint. She nuzzled Del’s neck, slowly nipping at the base of it. She made sure to get the collar out of her way so that she could get to more exposed flesh.

Her hands didn’t stop moving. There didn’t seem to be a rhyme or reason to her movements. She just wanted to touch Del, so she did. She moved her hands down Del’s sides, across her warm and scarred flesh, until she met the waist of her jeans. Her hands skimmed across the front of them until they found the belt. She slowly undid the black leather belt’s bright chrome buckle. Once it was undone, she pulled on it until it was free.

Del grabbed her hips hard, burying her fingers in the uncovered flesh she found there. She urged the pants on Angie’s hips down her waist just a little as she kept against her lap. Angie didn’t seem to mind the contact. In fact, she seemed to relish in it, moaning as Del squeezed and kneaded her hips in correlation to her own ministrations against Del’s bare skin.

Angie bent over at the waist, kissing her way down Del’s chest, and marking her as she went. When her hands and her mouth came closer to the waistband of Del’s jeans, she reached over and undid the button and the zipper. As she pulled the zipper down, she made sure to go as slowly as she could. She was in awe of Del’s body.

She didn’t care that she was riddled with scars. They were badges of honor. And, Angie kissed each one was bared to her lips and fingers. She traced them. She worshiped them. She wanted Del to feel loved and sexy. She needed her to know that she was completely in love with her. It wasn’t like Del didn’t know it, but sometimes, Angie thought she buried it deep inside because she thought that she wasn’t worthy enough for Angie’s love.

Del ran her hands up Angie’s side. She could feel the burn of Angie’s skin beneath her fingers. She skimmed across her sides, down her abs, and then back up around her sides to her shoulder blades. When she found purchase there, she pulled Angie back down to her mouth. She seared Angie’s mouth with a fiery kiss. It wasn’t deep. There was no tongue. It was just passion. And, in that passion, Del showed Angie how much she wanted her, how much she needed her, and how much she loved her. It also gave showed Angie how Del wanted their encounter to go.

Angie got the message. She knew that even though they started out hot and heavy, that really wasn’t what they wanted. Del wanted to take her time, be passionate, and burning. Angie was okay with that. She just hoped that her body could hold out for her.

Angie ended the kiss and sat back just a little. She ran her hands down to Del’s chest and kneaded her breasts again. The more she touched Del, even though it was through cloth, the more Del wanted her naked. Since her hands were already on Angie’s back, she undid her bra and removed it. Then she let her hands have free reign of Angie’s unmarred and perfect back. She heard her moan and she smiled up at her.

  “Del…”

  “What, love?”

“Just love me,” Angie told her.

  “Always, Angie, always.”

Del leaned up and took a hard nipple in her mouth. She flicked her tongue over it, enjoying each and every one of the sharp intake of breaths that Angie made. She sucked and nipped. Angie held her head against her body. The connection between them made by lips, looks, kisses, and touches. Del rocked her back just enough so that she was just sitting on her lap instead of pinning her to the bed across her hips. Angie took the opportunity in that position to divest Del of her shirt and bra as well. Once Del was naked, Angie ran her hands over Del’s back.

They held each other closer. Del lifted her head and kissed her again. It was sweet and passionate. Hands skimmed over backs as neither of them wanted to break their contact with the other in order to push things forward. They could both feel the intense burning and yearning between them, but they weren’t pushing forwards. They were hovering in their passion.

Angie needed to see her eyes, so she backed up just enough to look in them. She was still amazed at how well they fit together. She gazed into her dark brown eyes and lost herself. She could drown in her eyes if Del would let her.

  “Liv…”

  “Yes?”

  “Take me.”

Del could hear the plea in her voice. She held her tighter and moved them until she had Angie on her back on the bed. She held herself over her, just staring down into her eyes. She let her hand wander down Angie’s side until she hit her jeans. Then, without looking, she moved her hand across her toned stomach to with her fingers reaching under Angie’s waist band until she got to her button and zipper. She deftly undid them and leaned back. She tugged on the cuffs of Angie’s jeans to remove them.

Once she got them off, she reached out for her underwear and took it off. Angie arched up off the bed to help her. As they both leaned back into the bed, Angie shoved her hands down Del’s open jeans to her ass and held her. Her fingers dug into Del’s ass, pulling her further into her lap.

Del began to kiss her neck again. She didn’t stop as she reached her shoulder; she continued down her chest to her waist. She had to change positions to get where she wanted to be, so she did. Angie opened her legs to allow her better access.

“Beautiful,” Del told her as she came face to face with her prize.

Angie squirmed a little under her gaze, but she didn’t make any move to cover herself. Del moved on her quickly. She wrapped her arms under Angie’s thighs and laid her hands on her hips, holding her close as she dove to her core with her tongue. She felt Angie move beneath her, but she didn’t care. She was right where she wanted to be.

Angie leaned up to look down at her. Their eyes met and Del smiled as she saw Angie’s sapphire eyes dancing in delight. She ran her tongue through her folds and sucked down on her clit. Angie moaned. Del went slow, savoring every lick, every swipe, every taste of Angie’s body. She memorized every inch of her, every moan, especially after certain touches. She kept her grip on Angie’s hips firm, but not bruising. She allowed her to move, to wallow, to squirm as she chased her across the bed with her mouth and tongue. She’d just kissed the sensitive skin on her inner thigh when Angie was a little too rambunctious for her to get to, but she always rewarded Angie as soon as she stilled long enough for her to make love to her core.

Angie’s hands were flexing in the sheets. She couldn’t find anything to ground herself in as Del devoured her body. She couldn’t focus her thoughts on anything but the wonderful, delicious thoughts of Del’s tongue on her body. When she would nip, Angie would gasp out loud. When she sucked and nibbled with an unhurried pattern, Angie threw her head back and moaned loudly. Because Del didn’t keep a perfect rhythm, Angie couldn’t help herself and moved constantly. It didn’t seem to both Del, but it meant that Angie couldn’t focus long enough to fall. Every time she would be close, Del would change the pattern and pace. It wasn’t long enough to make her upset, but it was starting to get frustrating.

  “Del…”

“Mmm,” she hummed against Angie, not willing to move from where she was feasting.

  “Please…”

  “Hmm?”

  “Please…” Angie pleaded airily.

  “Mmmhmmm…”

  “Del…”

“Yes?” she asked breaking away and looking down Angie body and into her piercing eyes.

  “Make me come…”

Del didn’t need to be told twice. She resumed her ministrations with her tongue. She ran her tongue around her
completely, bathing her entire core and enjoying every bit of her essence. Then, she pointed her tongue and began to fuck her as deeply as she could. Angie bowed off the bed. Del knew that she had her then. She pulled out and flicked her tongue against her bundle of nerves three times before she thrust back inside her. It was exactly what Angie needed. She arched up at such and angle that Del was sure that her back might break as she fell over the edge. But, even as Angie screamed out Del’s name over and over again before falling back to the mattress, Del never stopped her tongue lashing. She just started calming down from her first orgasm when she felt the second one creeping up. Del didn’t let up. She continued licking not wanting to waste any drop of Angie.

“DEL!” she screamed out as she came again.

After her second orgasm, Del gave her some pity. She slowly and methodically bathed her with her tongue before she backed up. She kissed the top of her mound. She slowly moved her way up Angie’s body, kissing her sex-sweaty skin, enjoying the warmth that she was emanating. When she reached her neck, she nibbled twice before she bit down at the crook. Marking her slightly, Del backed up and smiled at her handy work. She knew that Angie felt boneless and had that sex induced euphoria that led to some of the best sleep one can have. She just wanted one more kiss. So, she did.

Angie could taste herself on Del’s lips. It was intoxicating. Her libido spiked. All thoughts of being tired and taking a small nap before taking her pleasure from Del’s body were gone. She had to have her and she had to have her right then. She smiled, lazily up at her, knowing that Del was about to lie down beside her. And, she did, unknowing that Angie was about to take her.

“You okay?” Del asked her with a slight laugh in her voice.

“Oh, I am fine, right now. You however might want to watch out. I’m feeling a little…”

“A little?” Del questioned, turning to face her.

Angie didn’t answer her with words. She rolled over quickly and penned Del to the bed. And, before Del could protest, Angie had her hands down Del’s pants and inside her, stroking her deeply. She just smiled at Del’s sharp intake of breath followed by a hissing moan.

  “Angie…”

“Just enjoy it and let go…I’ve got all night,” Angie told her, crooking her eyebrow, daring her to tell her otherwise.

  Chapter 54

Sanchez was sitting on the front porch with a

cup of coffee. Del was standing just inside the house watching. She would have normally been pacing, but this morning she was abnormally calm. She could only think that it Angie’s fault from the day before.

“How long has he been out there?” Angie said, coming up beside her with her own cup of coffee.

  “A few minutes.”

“Doesn’t he want to come in?”

  “I haven’t asked.”

  “Why not?” Angie asked.

“Because he is waiting on me to tell him that we’re ready to leave. We’ve been texting since he landed, working on our plan to get you back to New York. I am sure that he spent the night in the airport, making sure that we had a clean way in and to our chartered flight, Mrs. Werner.”

  “Mrs. Werner?”

“It’s the name I filed the flight under. I kept with the newly wed theme that we’ve been using. I had to give them a name or I couldn’t get the charter. Do you have a problem acting like my wife still?”

“No, not at all,” Angie replied, quickly.

Del smiled at her. She knew that the comment would get her riled up. She drank her coffee slowly, watching Angie. She saw the twinkle in Angie’s eyes. The mirth between them was still there for now. She hoped that they could hold on to it.

  “Shall we let him in?”

“Up to you, darling. I am going to get our bags. We need to be leaving soon.”

“Would you be upset if I said that I didn’t want to go?”

“Not at all, but I really don’t feel like becoming a fugitive because you don’t want to go testify.”

“I never said that I didn’t want to testify. Hell, they make exceptions for others and do in via teleconference. Why can’t we do that? Then, I could stay here.”

“I am sure it has something to do with the defense,” Del slated.

“Oh, don’t even get me started with defense. I hate the defense with all their motions and craziness. They live to make the prosecutions’ life hell.”

“They are just doing their jobs,” Del countered.

“I know that, but that doesn’t mean I have to like it.”

“I never said you did. Come on. Let’s get Sanchez inside before the neighbors begin to wonder.

Del left her standing there. She went to the front door and opened it. Sanchez turned around to face her. He smiled up at her, stood and waited for her to allow him in the house. Del stepped back and he came into the house. She followed him back into the kitchen to refill her coffee and offer him a refill as well. Angie followed them in as well.

“Hello, Sanchez. Was your flight out good? More coffee?” Angie asked him as she took a seat at the kitchen table facing him, and sipped her coffee.

He nodded. Angie got the coffee pot and refilled his cup. She went back to the table and sat beside Del wondering if they were going to tell her what they had planned or if she was going to be kept dark for her own protection. She really didn’t care either way as long as Del was still at her side during this time.

Sanchez smiled at them over his coffee cup. He could see the ease that was between them. He knew that the last few months had been good for Del. She was happier than he’d ever seen her. He just hoped that the coming weeks, with them in New York and dealing with the case, weren’t going to break her. He could already see it happening and he could see that Angie was doing her best to stop it, too.

“The plane will be ready whenever you are, LT,” Sanchez told them and sipped his coffee.

Angie could tell that he was trying to not say much. He was purposefully being non-intrusive and allowing them as much freedom and personal space as he could. Angie knew that he trusted Del implacably. And, he knew that she could handle anything that was thrown at her on their trip back to New York. He was just merely coming along as back up, a position that he was used to it seemed. Angie gave him a knowing smile and he dipped his head just enough for her to see.

  “And is our flight secure?”

“Yes,” He replied simply to Del’s question.

“The bags are ready. I think that I am just going to finish my coffee and then we can go. Is Cole waiting for us at LaGuardia?” Del asked as she finished her coffee.

“He will. He’s already arranged for an armored vehicle and prepared secondary routes away from the airport to the safe house. He’s double checked his routes and the house four times already today. He’s just waiting on the signal that we are leaving so he can do his final preparations for us coming.”

“Where are we staying?” Angie inquired, trying to join the conversation.

“He had his choice of condos, but he sealed for one on Broadway. It is nice. I’ve seen it. He’s been renovating it since Del got the call months ago. Of course, he’s sped things up, but he hasn’t cut any corner, LT. He is going to make sure that we are all safe. He’s already called up some of the boys to help us. He bought out the floor of the condo, the floor above and the floor below. He’s got everything under his control. He’s also turned it into a sort of retreat for our unit, LT,” Sanchez told her like he was briefing her on the mission quickly.

  “Meaning?” Del asked.

“He’ll make his money back by renting out the condos to members of the unit for when they want to vacation in New York. It’s prime real estate. He’d be a fool not to. Besides, you know how often we do anything related to recreation. They’ll be empty for the most part. However, he’s gifting the condo to you. I believe, once the trial is over. That is if you want it,” Sanchez told her.

“What about you?” Angie asked not wanting to hear Del turn it down quickly.
r />   “I’ll be going to back to Chicago. My life is there now. I have my company and family to take care of, but I will visit New York. Who knows? Maybe I’ll start up another office there. I already know that there might be need for my services. But, I’ll deal with that when and if the time comes and I have reason enough to do it. I am not in any hurry,” Sanchez told them.

Angie knew that it was a hint towards Del. She could see her tense up at the words, but she didn’t say anything to her then about it. Del knew what Sanchez was doing and she appreciated it. But, in the back of her mind, she knew that she wasn’t going to move to New York. It was still nice that she would have somewhere to stay and possibly something to do if she ever did go back for an extended period of’ time. Angie took her hand and squeezed it. When she felt Del squeeze her hand back, she knew that they would talk about it on the plane ride. What else would they have to do on their six plus hour flight? Angie looked at her watch; she had time to work with.

Time was now her enemy and Angie wasn’t going to let it win. She was going to address it like she did her court eases. She was going to find a way to make the jury (Del) see her point of view and get the outcome that she wanted (Del staying with her). She knew that it didn’t have to be in New York and that put points in her favor. It was going to be convincing Del that she would be okay in Seattle being a lawyer or whatever that was going to be the hard pan. But, Angie, being who she was, wasn’t going to give up that easily. She was going to fight until she no longer could.

“We should go soon. It is going to be late by the time we land and with the time changes. Jet lag is not going to be our friend. It tends to be a six to seven hour flight depending on head winds and with three hours for time zone changes, will be like ten hours. So if we leave now, it will be around roughly around eight o’clock tonight which we get there,” Sanchez told them.

“Then, let’s go,” Del said standing up.

She walked to the sink and rinsed out her cup. She set in the sink and the looked around. She would miss the small house and the neighborhood, but she knew that they would sell the house. They would erase all traces of them being there soon. She knew that Sanchez would send the message to a team he already had in place as soon as they were in air.
