“Aidan...”
He ignored her protests and went back to worshipping her. He left a trail of wet kisses down one side of her stomach and then the other. By the time he reached the junction of her thighs, Piper was a wet mess as he slowly slid the tip of his middle finger inside of her.
“Mmm,” Piper moaned. She had been waiting for this moment.
The first swipe of his tongue caused her back to arch off the bed. The second had her lifting her pelvis closer to his face. She wanted more, needed more — and just as she was about to verbalize those needs, Aidan inserted a second finger into her pussy, hitting just the right spot, and just like that, he sent her over the edge for the first time.
“Fuck!” Piper moaned.
Aidan was relentless. Wave after wave crashed over Piper to the point that she felt as if she were drowning in pleasure. It had never been like this before. A need so powerful. A desire that seemed to take over her body. And an orgasm that would satisfy both.
“Aidan, please,” she begged. She couldn’t take anymore.
Hurriedly, she felt Aidan move between her legs. In one swift thrust, he buried himself deep inside of her. Piper felt stretched, full. The pain caused by his invasion was like nothing she had ever experienced. It made her breath catch in her throat.
“You are so fuckin’ tight,” Aidan groaned.
As he began to move inside of her, the initial shock and pain from his size turned into pleasure.
Together, they moved in unison. Flesh sliding against fresh. Breaths mingling. Moans of ecstasy filled Aidan’s bedroom.
“Harder,” Piper begged. She needed more of him. Deeper.
The feel of his skin against hers, his calloused hands as they skimmed over her body. It all added another level of desire that she wasn’t expecting.
“Turn over,” Aidan demanded, pulling out of her. “Head down, ass up, baby.”
Instantly, Piper felt the emptiness, but she did as she was told and flipped over to her hands and knees.
The moment she was in place, Aidan wasted no time sliding back inside of her.
“Mmm,” she moaned. “You feel so fuckin’ good.”
“So do you, Piper,” Aidan replied, releasing his own groan of pleasure.
Pulling back out, Aidan slammed back inside of her. For a moment, Piper thought he might puncture a hole into her uterus. Aidan was huge. Bigger than she had ever had before. And she knew, tomorrow she would be sore as hell — but she didn’t care. She needed this, and him.
She felt him shift on the bed behind her and lean forward, over her back. But she wasn’t prepared when Aidan grabbed her hair or when she felt the first sting of his hand against her ass. More desire shot through her. She felt her pussy tighten around him and knew she would be coming again – soon.
“Mmm,” she whimpered.
“You like that?” Aidan taunted.
“Yes,” Piper moaned, earning her another smack.
Aidan quickened his rhythm. The mixture of pleasure and pain was driving Piper to the edge faster than before.
Aidan wrapped an arm around her middle and brought her back against his chest. Piper ground her ass down against his lap. He was so deep inside of her, she couldn’t tell where she ended, and he began.
Hands on her hips, Aidan helped to lift and lower Piper, their bodies meeting each other in a rush to completion.
The sound of flesh against flesh filled the space. And just when Piper was fighting to keep from falling over the cliff, Aidan leaned forward and lightly bit the spot just below her right ear.
“Fuck!” she screamed. Bursts of light flashed behind her eyes. Her pussy clamped down around Aidan’s dick.
“Shit!” he groaned.
With faster than lightning reflexes, Aidan pulled out of her and flipped her on her back. One hand continued to stroke his huge dick, while the other went to Piper’s pussy. Aidan pushed two fingers inside of her and rubbed his thumb against her clit, drawing out her orgasm as he emptied himself onto her stomach.
When both were completely spent, Aidan fell onto the bed beside her. Their heavy breathing was the only sound in the room. Moments later, Aidan broke the silence.
“Don’t move. I’ll go get you a towel,” he said in a voice mimicking Donald Duck.
Piper burst into laughter. “Oh my God. I remember that stupid video from Facebook.”
“It wasn’t stupid,” Aidan protested with a laugh. “That thing was funny as hell.”
“So funny it was stupid,” Piper laughed.
“Okay,” Aidan nodded. “Agree to disagree.”
Piper grinned as she watched Aidan’s firm ass while he walked into the bathroom. She heard the water running and moments later he walked to the bed carrying two towels. Another grin took over her face as he gently cleaned up the mess he made across her stomach with a hot washcloth, and then used the other to dry her skin. The gesture was the sweetest thing.
“There,” Aidan smiled, placing a kiss on her now clean flesh. “All better.”
Aidan tossed both towels towards the bathroom door and climbed into bed. Reaching for the covers, he pulled them up and over them both.
Piper moved over to her side of the bed, but before she could get comfortable, Aidan grabbed her and gently pulled her back against his chest.
Oh! A snuggler. She secretly grinned to herself.
“Goodnight, Piper,” Aidan yawned, placing a light kiss against the back of her neck. If she hadn’t been completely exhausted, she would have been on the fast track to round two. As it was, sleep was rapidly approaching.
“Goodnight, Aidan,” she mumbled.
The warmth of his skin against her back and the protective shield of his arms felt amazing. She couldn’t remember the last time she felt protected by anyone other than herself. She laid there for a moment trying to think, but nothing seemed to come to mind. For so long it had always been just her. And now, here she was. Wrapped in a man’s arms and for the first time, she felt like she could truly let her guard down. Like she could really sleep without feeling as if she constantly had to be on alert. It was weird and something Piper was not used to.
Don’t get used to it either. Piper reminded herself. Just because we had sex, doesn’t mean there will be a repeat.
The thought of that was saddening. Piper definitely wouldn’t mind falling asleep next to Aidan again… and again… and maybe again. Before another thought had a chance to make its way across her mind, a yawn fell from her lips and Piper was out like a light.
Chapter Four
Aidan
Beep, Beep, Beep...
Aidan reached back and hit the snooze on his alarm. Turning his head, he glanced at the woman taking up over half of his bed. And he couldn’t help but smile.
Shit! I hope things aren’t awkward this morning.
He laid there for a few more moments, until the alarm started beeping again. Not wanting to wake her yet, Aidan shut off the alarm and climbed out of bed.
Still naked, he walked to the kitchen and started a fresh pot of coffee. He knew Piper liked her morning brew, and so did he.
While the coffee was brewing, Aidan jumped into the shower and made fast work of getting ready for the day. He hated to wash Piper’s scent from his skin, but he couldn’t go to meetings and then work smelling like sex. Amazing, hot as fuck sex – but still sex. He had to meet his brother to discuss their new plans on opening another bar across town and then go see a real estate agent about a location. And Rayden would pick up on the smell. He worked enough with Piper to know what the woman smelled like. A zing of jealousy moved through him.
Oh, get a grip! he reprimanded himself. He would not get jealous of his brother.
Walking into his kitchen, Aidan pulled two mugs out of the cabinet and poured himself a cup. Taking his first drink, he turned when he heard the wood floors creak.
She was awake.
A nervous knot formed in his stomach.
“Good morning,” Piper grinned as she w
alked into the kitchen and directly into his space.
Aidan put an arm around her waist as she reached up on tip-toes to place a kiss against his lips.
“Good morning,” Aidan smiled back. “Sleep well?”
“I slept great,” Piper replied. “Too great, actually.”
“Why is that?”
“I have to be at work in an hour and still need to go home for a quick shower and change my clothes.”
“I don’t know,” Aidan grinned. “I think you look hot just as you are.”
He laughed as Piper took a slow bow. She was wearing his shirt. The bottom of it hit right below her ass. It was the sexiest thing Aidan had ever seen.
“You don’t think the guys at the station would mind?” Piper teased.
“Um...” the smile left Aidan’s face. “On second thought, let’s get you some coffee and get you back to your house.”
“Yeah,” Piper laughed. “That’s what I thought.”
Aidan had an overwhelming urge to punch out every guy in her station. Just the idea of one of them seeing her like she was right now, made him feel violent.
Placing the regular mug back in the cabinet, Aidan pulled a travel mug out and handed it to Piper, then watched as she made her coffee.
Coffee. Creamer. Two spoons of sugar. Check!
He would remember for next time. And there would be a next time, he suddenly decided. Several more next times, if he had his way.
* * *
The drive back to The Bayou Bar was quick, too quick for Aidan. He wanted to spend more time with Piper.
“Okay, where do I go from here?” Aidan asked. He knew she lived close to the bar because she always walked, but other than that – he had no clue.
“Keep going,” Piper pointed ahead. “Six blocks down, then turn right.”
Aidan followed her directions and pulled to a stop in front of the house she indicated was hers. A small Victorian style. It surprised him, but at the same time it seemed to be the perfect place for her.
After getting out of the car to open her door, he followed her to the front door and took her keys when she pulled them from her pocket. Placing the key in the lock, Aidan opened the door and held it as Piper crossed the threshold.
“I’ll see you later?” he asked, handing back her keys.
“Definitely,” Piper smiled. “I’ll be in after work tonight.”
“Good. I look forward to it.” Aidan leaned down and kissed her lips.
What started as a sweet ‘see you later’ kiss, swiftly turned into a ‘I want to rip your clothes off and bang you against the wall’ kind of kiss.
“You better get going,” Piper breathed.
“Yeah, I better,” Aidan agreed.
He took one step back and then another. Somehow, he made it to his car without tripping over anything or taking his eyes off the gorgeous woman still standing in the doorway. As he climbed behind the wheel and he shut his door, Aidan felt an overwhelming need for Piper. A need that was eating at him.
Before he could do anything stupid, like jump out of the car and bang her on the front porch, Aidan started his car and pulled away from temptation. Sending up a silent prayer that the day would go by fast, Aidan headed over to McAllister’s Diner to meet Rayden.
* * *
“It’s eight o’clock in the morning,” Rayden said when Aidan walked in and sat across from him in the booth. “Why the fuck do you look so chipper?”
“It’s a good day, brother,” Aidan grinned. “A very good day.”
“Who are you? And what did you do to my brother?” Rayden commented.
“Oh, shut up!”
“No. Seriously, what’s up with the goofy grin?”
“I don’t have a goofy grin.”
“Yes, you do.”
“No, I don’t.”
“Excuse me,” Rayden called the waitress over.
“You guys ready to order?” she asked.
“Not yet,” Rayden smiled. “But, does he or does he not have a goofy grin on his face?”
Aidan was totally embarrassed.
“He does,” the waitress smiled.
“Thank you,” Rayden nodded.
“No problem. Let me know when y’all are ready to order and I’ll come right back.”
“Can I just get a coffee?” Aidan asked.
“Absolutely.” The waitress walked away to grab his drink.
“So, spill,” Rayden leaned back, crossing his arms over his chest.
“When did I get a sister?” Aidan asked.
“When you came walking in here with a shit eating grin on your face,” Rayden replied, not missing a beat. “Now, spill!”
“So, I got a lead on a property that I think would be great for the new bar,” Aidan tried to change the subject.
“That is not why you’re all smiles, but okay.” Rayden rolled his eyes. “I’ll let it go. For now.”
“Thank you.”
“Tell me about the place.”
Aidan spent the next half hour explaining the location and benefits of having another club across town.
“With a bar right outside of Hunter Creek Village, we can make up more of an upscale establishment to fit the needs of the neighborhood.”
“Like a martini bar?”
“Not quite,” Aidan laughed. “I want to keep the same atmosphere of The Bayou Bar, but I want to fit the clientele.”
“Okay,” Rayden nodded. “I mean Hunter Creek is a lot different than Cypress.”
“That’s the point,” Aidan replied. “It gives us a different population to reach.”
“I get it,” Rayden responded. “But who is going to run the bars? You can’t be at both at the same time.”
“I’m thinking of making Lisa the manager in Cypress,” Aidan answered. “And then after Hunter Creek is up and running smoothly, getting another person to run it.”
“You just going to bounce back and forth?”
“Basically,” Aidan responded. “I want to free up my time a bit. Since we opened The Bayou Bar, I have spent every day there. Seven days a week. Three-hundred and sixty-five days a year.”
“I know,” Rayden agreed. “Mom was pissed that you missed Christmas.”
“Right,” Aidan rolled his eyes. “Let’s not go there, please.”
“Are you looking to travel more?” Rayden emphasized the word travel and Aidan knew the meaning behind it.
“I’m not sure yet,” Aidan answered honestly. “There’s been a few inquiries, but I haven’t made a decision.”
“Alright,” Rayden replied. “So, you go to look at a location today?”
“Yeah. I have to meet the agent at two-thirty.”
“Okay.” Rayden nodded. “Text me the address and I will try to meet you there. I’m not sure what I’ll be working on today. Hopefully, just finishing up some cases to send to the DA.”
Rayden was a homicide detective with the Harris County Sheriff’s department. He loved his job, and Aidan was super proud of him.
“Okay, sounds good,” Aidan replied.
“Are you really not going to tell me what has you looking all goofy-eyed?” Rayden pouted.
“Not a chance, brother,” Aidan laughed, throwing some money on the table for the bill. “I have to get going.”
“You suck!” Rayden called as Aidan walked out the door.
Laughing to himself, Aidan walked back to his car. He had to get to the bar and get some paperwork done before he left for the meeting later.
Payday... Bill day... Money in, money out.
Chapter Five
Piper
All morning, she couldn’t stop thinking about Aidan. The sex had been amazing. She couldn’t remember ever orgasming that many times in one night or that hard. The entire morning, she had thought about it, replaying the memory in her head like a home movie. By the time she had gotten into the shower, Piper had needed to release some pent-up energy.
She was an hour late for work. Not that she punched a tim
ecard or anything. Or that anyone would really notice. Sitting down at her desk, she set-up her laptop and pressed the power button.
“Kimber!”
Okay, maybe someone would notice...
Looking towards the Chief’s office, Piper saw him standing at the door, staring her down. She wanted to flip him the bird all over again. But she knew she couldn’t. Not once did she stop to think that her actions could have serious consequences. How many people can tell their boss to fuck off and keep their jobs? Piper really needed to work on controlling her temper. Too often, it had gotten her into trouble.
Let’s just hope this isn’t one of those times.
With a sigh, Piper stood. She felt like a kid being called to the principal’s office.
“Dum, dum, dum, dummm!”
“Shut the fuck up, Perez!” Piper replied.
“Awe,” Perez faked a pout. “Poor wittle Piper is getting called to the office.”
Piper’s feet refused to move an inch. Trying to calm herself, she took several deep breaths.
Do not kill him. Do not kill him. Do not kill him. It will look bad on your record.
“Perez,” said Henderson. “I think that’s enough.”
“Nah,” Perez taunted. “Run along, Pippy, don’t want to keep the boss waiting.”
That was it. Piper had enough. Turning quickly, she swiped the pencil off Perez’s deck and sank it into the seat between his legs, intentionally missing his junk by mere centimeters.
“I am going to say this one time,” Piper gritted out. “If you say one more fucking word to me — ever — I will remove your jewels and feed them to you piece by piece. Do I make myself clear?”
“You crazy...” but Perez didn’t get to finish his sentence before Piper grabbed another pencil and slammed the point down on the desk, between two of his fingers.
“I will not repeat myself,” Piper warned. “Let’s get one thing straight, you worthless piece of shit — I don’t give a fuck who you are or who you think you are. I will beat your miserable ass right here for the entire department to see and make you my bitch, Perez. Fuck with me! I pray you try.”
Piper stared into the man’s eyes. Perez was new to the department and obviously, nobody had let him know that she was not the person to mess with. But looking into his eyes, Piper saw fear, and something else she couldn’t quite put her finger on.
