Beautiful Nightmare

“Man, you cheating like a muthafucka!” Kidd yelled, bringing Valencia back to the present. Valencia was beating him again in Madden. “I can’t play with these bullshit-ass controllers. The shit is bedazzled. Who bedazzles a fuckin’ PlayStation 4 controller?” He huffed as he tossed the controller on the couch.

“Hey! You break, you buy! No dolla,” she put on an Asian accent. “And don’t be a sore loser, babe. I told you I could play. You doubted my skillablity. Ya girl comes through every time. And don’t blame the bling. My shit is legit fire.” She laughed at him as she got off the couch to get them something to drink. He admired her legs as she stood up in the little shorts she had cut from some sweatpants. She had no bra on, and her breasts sat perfectly in the air. He was totally in awe of her radiance. She was like the ninth wonder of the world to him. There was no explanation for this woman. He couldn’t explain the hex she’d put on his heart, but she’d stolen it the first time he’d seen her. For all the bad shit he’s done in his life, he couldn’t figure out, for the life of him, how God could place something so beautiful and pure into his life. He thanked God every day for her and promised that, if he could keep her, he would change his life all the way around. And he meant that he would give up everything. All he needed was her.

“Whatever. If I hadn’t taught you them new moves, you would be nothing!” he yelled over his shoulder.

“Yeah, all right. Let that be the reason,” she said as she eased her arms around his neck. He took the drinks out of her hands. Then she climbed over the back of the couch to land on his lap facing him. She could feel his manhood as she straddled his lap. She put her arms around his neck. He put the drinks down on the table, put his arms around her waist, and rubbed her lower back. The look in both of their eyes said I love you.

“You know what?” Kidd said as held her a little tighter.

“What’s that?” She kissed him on the lips.

  “Do that again.”

  She obliged.

“One more time and make it good.”

She leaned down to his mouth and placed a long, wet, passionate kiss on his lips that had sparks flying everywhere. Since being with Kidd, she had mastered the art of kissing. Because that’s all they’d done so far. She was glad that she could add something even if it was just a kiss.

“Now, was that better?” She wiped the sides of his mouth like there was something there.

“Yes, ma’am.” His eyes were still closed.

“Now, what was it you were going to say?”

“I love you.” He looked her right in the eyes. She stopped breathing for a full thirty seconds before she could respond. He awaited her response patiently.

“Say that again.” She could feel her heart flutter as the tears began falling down her face. She never thought those words would have hit her like they did. It felt like someone had punched her in the stomach and knocked all the wind out of her lungs. The words sounded so foreign that she didn’t know how to respond. Completely lost in the words he’d just spoken, her mind went blank. She just stared at him, searching the inner being of her soul to say something—anything—that would make this moment make sense to both of them. Love was something she’d sung and read about, but something that wasn’t supposed to be real.

“I love you, Valencia Ball.” She had never heard that sentence from anyone besides Sena. Other than that, no one had ever told her that they loved her—not even her mother. She was completely stunned, and she didn’t think he understood the magnitude of the words he’d just spoken to her. So many questions ran swiftly in her head. Did he really mean it? How was she supposed to be feeling? Was she feeling love at that very moment? What is she supposed to do next?

Finally finding her voice, she spoke softly. “No one has ever told me that before.” She took a deep breath. “I’m sorry I can’t say it back because I don’t know what love feels like.” She pulled her eyes away from his gaze, too embarrassed to look him in the eyes any longer. She didn’t want to lie to him. She wanted the first time she said I love you to be real.

“I didn’t say it for you to say it back. I said it ’cause that’s the way I feel. You’ll know it when it hits you. And I’ll be right here waiting patiently for you say it on your own.” He wiped the tears from her face and kissed the tears that replaced the ones he wiped away. He wondered what kind of life she had led to never have felt love before. She was the most amazing woman he had ever met. He wanted to announce to the world he loved her the first time he met her. So, he couldn’t fathom the fact that no one had ever told her they loved her before. It didn’t matter, though, because that just made another first for her that he would gladly participate in.

“If it means anything, you are all I think about. When I see you or even think about you, I get butterflies in my stomach. I smile just being around you. Your touch sends tingles all over my body. I don’t know what I’m feeling, but I do know that you consume my every thought and my heart, Wanya Brown.”

In his mind, she had just told him she loved him. Because that was what love felt like. That was the same way he felt about her. His name rolling off her tongue sounded like angels whispering in his ear. He pulled her face back to his and gripped her ass firmly as he stood with her holding on to him. She clasped her ankles together around his waist as he carried her to the bed. Slowly and gently, he laid her down.

“I love you,” he said again as tears ran down the sides of her face.

He kissed her tears away and continued kissing down her face and neck. Kissing her passionately, he let his hands roam freely all over her body. The feeling inside of him was so intense that he had to take deep breaths to slow down. He’d never felt such excitement about being with anyone in his life. His dick was so hard it began to ache at the tip. He slid his hands under her back, unsnapped her bra, and allowed it to slowly fall. Gently, he took her breasts into his mouth and made circles with his tongue around her chocolate nipples. Hungrily, he took both nipples into his mouth, smashing them together. She rubbed the back of his head as her eyes rolled around in her head.

Valencia’s moans gave him the cues that he was doing everything she liked. She had no idea there was such a feeling and couldn’t describe it if her life depended on it. She couldn’t believe this was finally happening.

Kidd made his way farther down and then sat up so he could get her panties off. As he pulled at her panties, she raised her hips to help him. He admired her body and rubbed his hands all over her one more time. Her body glistened under the moonlight, illuminating her curves. He felt like a boy doing it for the first time; his excitement was at an all-time high. He wanted to make sure that, after today, she would be his forever. Taking his time and giving every part of her body its own special attention was his plan for the night. He stood up and slid out of his pants and boxers. When he looked at her face, he had to hold back the laugh that was trying to break free. She looked at his dick like it was a machete. She had never seen anything like it in all her life.

“What a way to break me in.” She nodded toward his thick and juicy pole hanging down his leg.

“Don’t worry. We’ll be gentle.” He pulled her to the edge of the bed and got down on his knees. He rubbed his hands up and down her pussy, smearing the juices all over. He’d had dreams of this day for so long and couldn’t actually believe it was happening. He was going to take his time and make this special for her. He licked her cat, slowly sucking it all the way in his mouth, kissing it as if it was her face.

She moaned and scratched the bed before grabbing the back of his head. She had never felt this good in all her life. He stuck one finger in her as he sucked. She flinched but relaxed.

“You want me to stop?” He looked up at her. Shit, she can’t even take a finger. How the fuck am I going to get my shit in her? he thought to himself.

“No, I’m ready. I want to feel you inside of me,” she panted as she looked down at him.

He rose up and crawled on top of her as she scooted ba
ck in the bed. He could see the fear in her eyes.

“You sure you ready?” he asked again to be certain.

“Yes, I know you’ll take care of me.” She pulled his face into hers. She could feel him rubbing the head of his dick up and down her opening. Slowly, he went in, inch by inch. She felt like she was being ripped apart. Her nails were planted firmly in his back.

“You all right?” He pulled his face away from hers to look at her. “Breathe,” he coached, noticing she wasn’t breathing.

“I can’t!” She didn’t want to move, it hurt so bad. He was too big to be her first.

“You want me to stop?” Hoping she’d say no, he didn’t want to pull out. He could live in her pussy. It felt so good. She shook her head no.

“Take a breath, Vee. Relax, baby,” he whispered to her.

“No.” She shook her head left to right again like a little kid.

He laughed a little. “I need you to breathe, baby.” Again, she shook her head no, but this time there were no words. He went in deeper until he filled her insides all the way up. He rested in that position until she got used to it. He could feel her walls pulsate around his dick. It felt like he had a warm, wet massager wrapped around him. Her legs loosened up, and he began moving in and out.

“Ummm . . . shhh.” She couldn’t get any words out. This moment was just too good to be true. He felt so good. She never wanted the moment to end. She felt him lifting her legs in the air and put them in crook of his arms as he started doing push-ups inside of her.

“Damn! You feel sooooo good, ma.”

She was so tight. It was unbelievable. Every time he went out, it was like something was sucking him right back in. He let her legs go and stroked her slowly.

“I love you,” he said as he looked into her tear-filled eyes. “Why are you crying?” he asked as he wiped the tears from her face.

“I’m so happy. It just doesn’t feel real. I didn’t think this would ever happen,” she explained as she caressed the sides of his face.

“Well, it’s happening, and I ain’t going anywhere.”

Valencia danced around her office while listening to 95.5. The radio station was jamming today. It seemed every song that came on was talking about her, and she found herself putting Kidd’s name in all the songs. She had herself a man, she was laughing and smiling more, and the people around her took notice.

“If I didn’t know any better, I would think that you got that cherry popped,” Sena whispered in Valencia’s ear as she walked up and sat on her desk. The smile on Valencia’s face said it all.

“Noooo!” Sena jumped off the desk, excited.

  “Yeeesssss!” Vee nodded.

“Umm-mm, gon’, girl. That’s what the fuck I’m talking ’bout.”

“Oh my God, Sena! I never thought it would happen, but it did, and I’m so happy I did it. It was wonderful,” Vee gushed.

“Well, I’ll be damned. I’m happy for you! We got to get drunk and get into the details tonight, honey. I ain’t had none in way too long. I’ll live vicariously through you.”

“You coming over tonight for game day? I got to get a rematch since you cheated me last time, but it’s good ’cause I’ve been practicing, and I got a few tricks for that ass,” Vee said, thinking about the moves Kidd had shown her.

“Whatever. I’ll be there, and have my bed made ’cause I’m bringing the liquor and the SingStar. I just downloaded some more Beyoncé, and it’s about to be on. Meee meee meee meee.” Sena patted her throat as she practiced a little.

“Girl, whatever. You and Miss Bee ain’t got nothin’ on me and Miss Michele,” she waved her friend off.

  Chapter 12

  Beautiful Nightmare

Kidd sat on the park bench watching some of the neighborhood kids play basketball. He was taking a break since they had run him ragged on the courts. He was daydreaming about his rendezvous with Valencia last night. He could still feel her love muscles clenching his joint. Her walls were so wet and tight. They felt like a sloppy, wet mouth. One of the little dudes slam-dunked on somebody, bringing him out of his daydream.

“Woo wee! He put some stank on that shit!” Kidd yelled out while laughing and cheering the young dude on.

“That’s right! Make that nigga make the stink face,” said the dude who had done the dunking. They laughed at the boy that had gotten the nuts in his face a little while longer. Kidd looked at his watch and shook his head. The sun was beaming down on him so hard that he just knew there was a heat advisory somewhere. He was waiting on Moochie and Li’l Tony to come so he could give them the rundown of what needed to be done for their next job. This would be his last job. He would soon be starting a new chapter in his life. He looked at his watch again for what felt like the hundredth time. Moochie would be late to his own funeral. He looked up to see them both approaching all cool like shit was sweet, and they weren’t more than an hour late.

“I know. I know,” Moochie said, raising his arms in submission as he got closer to Kidd.

“What you know?” Kidd asked, looking at his brother for an answer. Li’l Tony still hadn’t approached. He was still trying to feel out the situation.

“What you mean?” Moochie looked at him with confusion in his eyes.

“Nigga, you said, ‘I know. I know.’ So, what the fuck do you know?”

“Man, get the fuck out of here with that bullshit,” Moochie waved him off.

“T, what you know?” Kidd questioned but only got a shrug of his shoulders in response.

“I’m just saying, ‘What you niggas know?’ That I’m out this muthafucka losing weight by the second, that I’m trying to conduct business, and you niggas out here caking and shit, or that it’s a thousand fucking degrees out this bitch? Let me know so I know we on the same page.” Kidd was calm, but the threatening tone let them know he was upset. Moochie paid him no attention, though. Li’l Tony, on the other hand, was scared shitless. He had yelled at Moochie for about forty-five minutes, trying to get him to hurry up. Moochie wasn’t tripping off what Kidd might do to him. He was his little brother, which meant Kidd wasn’t going to do too much to him. But Li’l Tony wasn’t blood, so that could mean open season on him. Noticing Li’l Tony’s reluctance to come any closer, Kidd broke into a fit of laughter.

“Look at you, nigga, over there shaking and shit,” Kidd laughed.

Moochie turned to see him standing about ten paces away. “The fuck you think he was gon’ do? Shoot you or some shit for being late?” Moochie asked.

“Fuck that. The nigga crazy as fuck, and you ain’t too far behind ’em,” Li’l Tony stated as he walked up a little closer. He wasn’t technically part of the crew, so he wasn’t sure of his safety if things were to go wrong.

“Man, you good. I’m just fucking with you. I tell him a certain time and know it will be an hour later before he shows up. If money don’t make the nigga jump, nothing will, and I have come to grips with that . . . from him.” Kidd put emphasis on the “from him” part. “Let’s get down to business.”

  * * *

Once again, Kidd found himself sitting in front of someone that was on their way to heaven or hell . . . whichever came first, and he would be the cause of it. Kidd had no idea what that man had done to deserve what he had coming, but it must have been something awful. It really didn’t matter why this man was about to lose his life; he just knew it had to be done and quite harshly if he had to say so himself. The man that ordered the hit wanted him tortured in the worst kind of way. But Kidd wasn’t into all that. Taking a man’s life was enough, but taking his manhood was not an option. Kidd could still hear it clear as day: “I want this rat fuck fucked up the ass with a sick dick and no grease.” Kidd hoped he was just being sarcastic because there definitely would be no fucking of any kind going on.

The man lay on the cold, dirty basement floor, shivering, bleeding to death from all the cuts and whips on his body. Moochie had been whipping him for almost thirty minut
es straight. There was so much blood everywhere that it could have been a scene from The Passion of Christ. Even though the man knew in the bottom of his heart that he shouldn’t have been talking to the police, he did it anyway. It was either him or his partner. He was just grateful that the men had spared his wife and children. When he woke up to the screams of his wife and saw the men standing over his bed, he knew the Grim Reaper had come to collect the soul he had sold to the devil many years ago. He didn’t put up too much of a fight, but he begged relentlessly for the masked men to spare his family’s lives. However, he didn’t have to waste his breath. Neither Kidd nor Moochie would ever kill a woman and her kids. The masked men had spared his family’s lives, but he knew they would be forever haunted by the way he was snatched out of their home in the middle of the night. And that he would have to burn in hell.

  * * *

The only thing that could be heard in the dark, musty room were the whimpers of the savagely beaten man. He hadn’t even considered pleading for his life. He knew it would all be in vain. He had once stood in the same position as his capturers. He had shown no mercy to his victims; he’d even killed wives and children. He was so happy that his family didn’t have to pay for his life choices.

“Let’s get this shit done,” Kidd spoke as he looked at the time on his watch. The only time they did a job without each other was when it was an easy hit, something like a bullet to the head. Neither one of them wanted to get a call saying something had happened to his brother. Neither would be able to forgive himself if he wasn’t there to protect the other.

Kidd watched as Moochie poured gasoline all over the man’s body. The victim tried to scoot away from Moochie. He was rolling all over the floor, trying to avoid the horrendous death that was coming. His eyes got big at the sight of Kidd walking toward him with a lit match. His screams were muffled by his glued lips. They watched as his body became engulfed in flames. The smell that took over the room was indescribable. Kidd was sick to his stomach. He had never set a man on fire and really didn’t want to, but those were the orders. Moochie was used to the smell. This was how he got rid of the bodies nine times out of ten. His theory was, no body, no evidence, equaled no murder. Moochie had a funeral parlor that he paid quite a bit of money to in order to be able to use whenever needed.
