“Jin-Pyoo,” he said, using his full name. Jin’s eyebrows shot up. Tolliver rose and walked around the table, where he dropped to one knee. From his pocket, he pulled a velvet box. “Kang Jin-Pyoo, I have loved you since the first moment I saw you. Will you do me the honor of becoming my husband?”
He saw Jin’s lower lip quiver. “Are you sure you want this?”
“I’m absolutely sure I want to be with you for the rest of my life,” Tolliver said firmly. “I want to sponsor you, but this time as my husband getting his green card. I want you to take my name and be my partner, in business and in life. I want to tell the world that you’re mine.”
“Yes, Tol. Oh, yes, I want all that too.”
And then they embraced, and Tolliver heard the clapping of the staff that had come out to watch the proposal. But he didn’t really focus on any of that, as he bent his head and kissed the love of his life.
