“I had to bring all my stuff,” he said simply, not wanting to tell his whole story too soon. He didn’t want these men to know that he’d packed his entire life up. “You’re one of the five?” Jackson nodded.

“Why don’t you come inside? I can show you to one of the guest rooms, if you’d like,” Jackson said. “Is everything safe staying in the back of my truck?” Robbie didn’t want to take everything inside, not when he was so tired. The long drive had zapped his energy.

“Yeah.” Cody nodded. “This is private property. Nobody will touch your things.”

“Okay, yeah…I’ll come inside. I’ve been on the road nearly nine hours. I’m exhausted.” Robbie reached in the back of his truck, pulled out a black duffle bag, and swung it over his shoulder. “Lead the way.”

“I’ll take him inside and get him settled, Cody. You can head back to the bunk house.”

“Sounds good. Night.” Cody turned on his heels and left.

“This is the Belt Buckle Ranch, as I’m sure you’ve figured out.” Jackson opened the front door and Robbie stepped inside. “I guess I should tell you that William passed away.”

“Fuck,” Robbie breathed out. He rubbed a hand over his face as the feeling of loss filled him He was too late? It didn’t seem right. This had to be some sort of sick joke. “Are you kidding me?”

“I’m sorry. I didn’t get the chance to meet him either.” Jackson’s voice was low and full of compassion.

“I guess I’ll need to figure out what the hell I’m going to do in the morning,” Robbie grumbled, looking around. He’d driven all this way to meet his father and now the man was gone. What the hell am I going to do? Where am I going to go?

“You should stay. Wyatt Thompson, he’s the foreman, picked me up from the airport. He broke the news to me. I guess there will be a reading of William’s Last Will and Testament when we’re all here.”

“I don’t have anywhere else to be,” Robbie muttered to himself.

“I’ll show you to one of the guest rooms,” Jackson said as he started walking up the stairs and Robbie followed him. “Mrs. Hunt is the housekeeper and cook around here. She’s a really nice woman and a hugger, just so you know. This is my room.” He pointed to the first door on the right. “You can probably pick any of the other rooms.”

“Thanks.” He exhaled loudly. “I’m just gonna hit the hay. I’m tired.”

“Okay. Good night. I’ll…uh…see you in the morning and we can talk more,” Jackson said from behind him and he didn’t say a word, still surprised by what he’d just heard.

Robbie shut the door, dropping his bag to the floor. Leaning against the door, he looked around the large guest room. It was warm, comfortable, and welcoming. The ceilings were high, showing exposed beams, hardwood floors ran throughout with thick rugs put in well-placed spaces—one under the bed and the other in front of the small brick fire place.

The walls were painted a creamy brown color, and there were a few large photographs—which he assumed were of the Belt Buckle Ranch—hanging around the room.

The furniture looked rustic and hand carved, with horses running across the headboard of the giant bed taking up most of the space. Navajo artifacts, vintage looking Navajo blankets, pinecones, and wildflowers graced the built-in bookshelf. The scent of wood and leather hung in the air.

Taking a deep breath, Robbie closed his eyes, trying to stifle a yawn. He rubbed his eyes and scrubbed his hands down his face.

Kneeling down, Robbie unzipped his bag and pulled out his toothbrush and toothpaste before heading toward the bathroom. He turned on the light and squinted, trying to block out the brightness. He was tired. After being in his truck all day, he wanted to jump in bed and go to sleep. He was still having a hard time wrapping his mind around the fact that his father was dead. He’d really wanted to meet the man, especially after losing his mom to the same disease.

  Robbie got ready for bed.

He stripped down and climbed in between the cool sheets. Staring out the window into the darkness, he felt lost. He didn’t know what he was going to do. He’d already packed and left the past behind, looking forward to the future. Closing his eyes, Robbie pushed all his thoughts away. He just needed a good night sleep.

“Tomorrow…I can think about it all tomorrow.”

  Chapter 1

Robbie groaned as he woke up.

Moving around on the soft sheets, he stretched and slowly opened his eyes. The sun was just starting to peek through the windows and he couldn’t help but smile. It was breathtaking. He’d gone to sleep feeling such a huge amount of despair, but he woke up with some hope in his heart. Relaxing, Robbie put one arm behind his head and took a few minutes to watch the sunrise. The tones started out mellow, but soon became a brilliant array of bright colors.

When he heard noises inside the house, he figured it was time to get up. Climbing out of bed, Robbie got ready for the day. He took a quick shower, made the bed, and got dressed. Robbie stepped out into the hallway and closed the door behind him on a soft click. Looking around, he shrugged. He stepped up to Jackson’s bedroom door and knocked. When nobody answered, he decided to just head downstairs alone.

Taking one step at a time, he was hesitant as he followed his nose toward the kitchen. The thick, delicious scent of bacon, sausage, and eggs hung in the air and his stomach started to grumble. When a large table came into view, he paused. An older woman was placing large platters on the table while three gorgeous cowboys sat at the table, talking. Robbie licked his suddenly dry lips as he checked out each of the men. It was a fantasy made real—minus the woman, of course.

“Good morning, Robbie.” Cody, the dark-eyed cowboy, stood up, greeting him with a welcoming smile.

“Morning, Cody.” Robbie walked into the room, wiping his clammy hands down the front of his jeans.

“This is Mason Cline and Preston Maxwell.” He motioned to the other two men sitting at the table and they both nodded as they continued to eat their breakfast.

“Good to meet you both,” he said awkwardly.

The older woman came out of the kitchen then. She looked at him and her face lit up with joy. The look took him back to a time when his mother had been alive. She’d always been so happy to see him. His eyes filled with moisture as he thought of her and he quickly blinked it away and cleared his throat.

“Hi, I’m Robbie.” He held out his hand and she walked over and practically threw herself in his arms. Robbie hugged her, gently patting her on the back.

“I’m so glad you’re here, young man.” She sniffled into his shoulder, before stepping back and wiping her face on her apron. “I’m Mrs. Hunt, but you can call me Susan. Please, come on in and have some breakfast.”

“Thank you.” Robbie smiled as he took the seat next to Cody.

Everyone was silent for a minute, the other men at the table checking him out and sizing him up. He wondered what they thought of him, a man with long hair and tattoos. He was sure they probably thought he wouldn’t fit in with them on this ranch, but he was going to prove them wrong. He was a hard worker.

“Do I pass the test?” he finally asked, looking at each man sitting at the table.

  “Huh?” Cody asked.

“Am I cowboy material?” He raised a brow and Mason and Preston chuckled.

“You might look the part if you wear a pair of boots,” Mason said before taking a bite.

“And a cowboy hat,” Preston added with a nod.

“But only those two things…nothing else,” Cody murmured under his breath, and Robbie almost choked on his orange juice.

Picking up his napkin, Robbie coughed as the others laughed. Cody patted his back rapidly. He looked over at the cowboy. A blush like a shadow ran over the young man’s cheeks and he shrugged, flashing Robbie a sweet smile. When he got his coughing under control, Robbie grinned at Cody.

He hadn’t been flirted with in a while and it felt good. A sense of relief filled him, banishing the uncomfortable
moment. The patting turned into a soft rub and Robbie couldn’t keep his eyes off the deep depths of Cody’s stare.

“It looks like Robbie might play for our team after all, Cody,” Mason said, and Robbie started to chuckle.

“Yeah, I do, but it’s been a while since I’ve been up at bat.” That got another round of laughs and Robbie started filling his plate.

“I wouldn’t mind…” Cody spoke quietly to himself and Robbie really wished he could’ve heard the rest of that sentence, but it was lost on him as Jackson strode into the room with another cowboy at his heels.

“Morning.” Jackson smiled brightly, walking into the dining room. He pulled out a chair and sat down across from Robbie. “I’m heading to the airport to meet Easton. He’s flying in.”

“One of the other half brothers?” Robbie asked, raising a brow, and Jackson nodded.

“I wanted to introduce you to the foreman. This is Wyatt.” Wyatt held out his hand and Robbie took it, shaking his hand.

The foreman sat down and moved his chair closer to Jackson. He watched the scene with interest. It seemed that he had something in common with at least one of his brothers.

“I wasn’t sure if you wanted to join me to meet Easton or if you wanted to stay here and get a tour,” Jackson said.

“I’d like to stay here at the ranch.” He looked over at Cody, smiling, and the gorgeous cowboy grinned.

“Cody can show you around. Give you a tour and a taste of what our day to day life is here at the ranch,” Wyatt said.

“I could use the help. Are you ready to be a cowboy?” Cody asked with a wink, and Robbie felt a spark of excitement rush through him, his dick hardening.

“Lead the way.” He stood up, shielding his crotch from the other men in the room.

Grabbing his plate, he followed Cody, not bothering to say good-bye to the other men. Robbie dropped his plate in the sink. He stared at the cowboy’s sexy bubble butt through his tight jeans and licked his lips.

Maybe my dry spell is over.

Adjusting himself, Robbie pulled his bottom lip in his mouth and groaned.

“Everything okay?” Cody looked over his shoulder and glanced down, noticing Robbie’s erection. He winked. “Do you want some help taking care of that?”

“Jesus,” he moaned breathlessly at Cody’s offer.

Robbie barely stepped one foot inside the barn when Cody grabbed him and shoved him against the wooden slats. The young man pressed his body against Robbie’s. His mouth covered Robbie’s hungrily, as he slowly moved his hips, letting Robbie feel his hard cock blocked behind the confines of his jeans. Cody’s tongue swooped inside his mouth, sending shivers of desire through him.

It took a minute for the shock at being manhandled to settle in. Once it did, Robbie changed their positions.

He turned Cody, shoving his back against the wood. He licked his lower lip before recapturing Cody’s mouth with savage intensity that pulled a moan out of Cody, but surprised the hell out of him. He couldn’t remember the last time he’d been this desperate to be touched and to touch.

Raising his mouth from Cody’s, Robbie gazed into the man’s eyes. “Do you have a condom?” he asked, hoping his cowboy had a hidden stash somewhere.

“Yeah.” He nodded rapidly. “Yeah, in my wallet.”

“Thank goodness.” He growled. Cody grabbed the front of Robbie’s jeans and moved his hand over his bulging erection, jacking him off over the material. “If you keep doing that I won’t last long enough to fuck your ass.”

With two hands, Cody unbuttoned the top of his jeans and lowered the zipper. Robbie stared at him, watching his face closely as he shoved one hand in and cupped his shaft. Cody’s eyes dilated, his nose flared slightly, and he licked his bottom lip—all good signs.

“Damn, I can’t wait to feel you inside me.” Cody ended the sentence with a moan.

“Give me the condom,” Robbie ordered.

He wanted to sink inside the sexy cowboy. He wanted to feel the man’s body surrounding his own.

Cody ripped open the foil square and rolled the lubricated condom over Robbie’s shaft. “Do we have lube?” The cowboy chuckled and pulled a small packet out of his pocket. “Damn, were you a Boy Scout?”

“Yeah, actually, I was. But, in this case, I was just hopeful.” Cody ripped open the small lube packet and squeezed out a liberal amount, coating the condom before smearing the rest on his own ass.

“Don’t you think I should stretch you?” Robbie asked, raising a brow. He was all for a fast and furious fuck, but he didn’t want to hurt his partner.

“I’m stretched and ready,” he said, kicking off his boots and pulling off his tight jeans. Robbie arched a brow. At his look, Cody said, “I was horny as fuck this morning just thinking about you all night and masturbated.” He pulled his shirt over his head and tossed it to the ground.

Robbie leaned forward and kissed the cowboy. “Are you sure you’re stretched enough?”

“Oh yeah,” Cody replied, nodding. “Now, I want you to sit on that bale of hay so I can show you how cowboys ride, stud.”

Robbie didn’t need to be told twice. He sat down on the edge. Cody moved closer, spreading his feet so that they were on either side of Robbie’s thighs. His cock was face level and in the perfect position for a taste. Wasting no time, Robbie closed the distance and took the mushroom shaped head into his mouth. He licked the pre-cum off, getting a good taste. Cody groaned, moving his hips, almost sending Robbie over the edge with all his excitement.

Pulling back, he looked up at Cody. “I need to be inside you.”

“God…I want you to fill me up,” Cody answered.

He lowered his body until his well-stretched hole was poised directly above Robbie’s cock. With a smile, Cody slowly impaled himself, groaning as he descended.

“Fuck,” Robbie breathed out as Cody’s body enveloped him.

It took some time, but eventually Cody was fully seated, balls resting on top of Robbie’s. He ground his teeth as Cody bottomed out and rotated his hips.

“Oh, son of a bitch, you feel fuckin’ good. I don’t think I’ve ever been so stretched.” Cody moaned. “Oh, God…”

“Mmm-hmm,” Robbie agreed. The words and movements were enough to have Robbie riding the edge of climax.

He wasn’t going to last much longer and hoped his cowboy wouldn’t hold it against him. It had been so long since he’d been inside a man. This was better than any other experience he could remember, Cody fit around him like a tight glove.

  Fuckin’ perfect.

Robbie ran his hands over the man’s thighs before gripping Cody’s hips. He guided him up and down the length of his cock.

As much as he enjoyed this position, it wasn’t enough. He wanted deeper, faster penetration. With a growl, Robbie lifted Cody off his cock and deposited him on the bale of hay.

“I’m sorry, I need more of you.” He panted as he knelt behind his cowboy.

“I don’t care, just fuck me.”

Pushing inside Cody’s tight heat, Robbie groaned. “Yes…feels so good.”

Placing his hands on Cody’s hips, Robbie pounded his cock as hard and fast as he could in and out.

“Harder…faster…God, I love your cock,” Cody said.

Robbie knew he was probably being too rough on Cody’s ass, but his lust was out of control. All he could think about was getting deeper as he watched as his cock disappeared over and over.

“Robbie! Fuck!” Cody shouted, signaling the man’s climax.

Robbie felt his lover’s body grip his cock impossibly tighter, milking it. Robbie gave a grunt of bliss as he buried himself to the hilt, shooting his seed into the condom. The orgasm lasted forever, as spurt after spurt shot from the end of his cock. By the time he was dry, he fell forward. Slumping over, he covered Cody’s back, trying to regain his breath. He’d never felt so satisfied or content.

  Chapter 2

  Best sex of my life!

  Cody White re
sted his forehead against the bale of hay, trying to catch his breath. Sharp pieces of hay bit into his knees, but he ignored any and all discomfort. Robbie—the man that had just rocked the hell out of his world—lay over him, awkwardly cuddling. The sex had been everything Cody ever dreamed of—rough, hard, and fast. Robbie took him to the edge and pushed him over the cliff into pleasure.

When he had seen Robbie the night before, there was an instant attraction. Cody had raced back to his room and jacked off multiple times. When he woke up, his cock had been hard and aching for the big, tattooed stud.

“Fuck,” Robbie breathed out against his shoulder before placing sweet kisses along the back of his neck. Cody shivered. “I wasn’t too rough, was I?” His voice was full of concern and Cody shook his head.

“Hell, no.” He chuckled. “If you couldn’t tell, I was moaning and begging for more.” Robbie laughed, his chest vibrating.

“Is there a trash can nearby?” The big man pulled back, his softening shaft slipping free, leaving Cody feeling empty.

For a moment, he’d felt something special, but now, he wanted to smack himself upside the head. He wasn’t expecting words of love, not after offering his ass so quickly to the tattooed god, but his hopelessly romantic heart still felt crushed.

Clearing his throat, Cody stood on shaky legs and pointed to a metal trash can located in the corner of the barn. Robbie strode over and pulled the rubber off, dumping the latex into the trash. As he did that, Cody picked up his clothes and started getting dressed. He covered his exposed flesh, wanting to be dressed, before Robbie reached his side.

Robbie cupped his cheeks, lifting his face, and grinned before taking possession of his lips once more. This time, the kiss was slow and sweet, with plenty of tongue. Wrapping his arms around Robbie’s neck, their mouths moved together, their tongues tangling. Cody felt his knees weaken just a little as Robbie devoured him softly.

After a few minutes or hours—he wasn’t sure how much time had passed—Robbie stopped the kiss.
