‘’Shui Qingyan’ knew that Zhong Yue was as equally strong as her since from her many bouts with him where she never succeeded in gaining the upper hand. On the other hand, Qiu Jiner’s many interactions with Zhong Yue and their shared time when cultivating together had allowed her to catch glimpses of where Zhong Yue’s true abilities lied. She knew that if Xiao Zhen could not beat her, then he would not be able to do so against Zhong Yue either.

The loud roars arrived along together with the sound waves and Zhong Yue punched towards them. His fist sank right into the sound waves and as he applied his strength, Xiao Zhen’s roars became almost non-existent immediately.

His fist shattered the sound waves and landed on the hands of Xiao Zhen without any obstacle!

  “Not good!”

The white-robed priest sitting at the side of Zuo Xiangsheng and the others had his face changed rapidly and he shouted, “Do not clash with his fist!”

The earth trembled and Xiao Zhen was next seen flying up into the air. The distinct sounds of cracking bone could be heard as he flew straight towards the temple at high speed. The white-robed priest then could be seen moving like a ghost to Xiao Zhen’s back while reaching out his hands in an attempt to mitigate Zhong Yue’s strength lingering in Xiao Zhen’s body.

Zhong Yue looked at the white-robed priest and he showed an impressed expression as he said, “No wonder you are the elder, such fast and accurate moves.”

The priest then showed an upset expression while the Xiao Mang celestial race’s Qi Practitioners on the stage erupted in a clamor as they did not think Xiao Zhen would lose just like that. However, there were a few hall master level Qi Practitioners among them that showed a serious expression.

“Xiao Zhen lost. Seems like it’s up to me now!”

A Xiao Mang Celestial Race’s Qi Practitioner stood up and he jumped into the square before walking towards Zhong Yue as he said, “Xiao Zhen this brat lost in one turn and failed to force out this guy’s capabilities. It’s up to me now….”

  “Get back here!”

The white-robed priest carried Xiao Zhen and landed on the ground before he stopped the Xiao Mang Celestial Race’s Qi Practitioner and said, “Xiao Zhen is dead.”

  Chapter 169: Too Fast |

  “Xiao Zhen is dead?”

Unlike the many Xiao Mang Celestial Race Qi Practitioners who were stunned, Qi Feng, Yu Zhengshu, Tian Yanzhong and the other Swords Gate’s Qi Practitioners looked towards the dead Xiao Zhen in happiness.

The white-robed priest put Xiao Zhen down and everyone realized that Xiao Zhen had his bones shattered completely, organs squashed into meatballs and his head was crushed completely by Zhong Yue’s sun fire!

He was laid to rest for eternity under Zhong Yue’s hand!

Yu Zhengshu was shocked as when Xiao Zhen had unleashed his full power, he already noticed the horrifying strength of Xiao Zhen, which was the strongest Rebirth level Qi Practitioner he encountered in his life and he knew that he was slightly weaker than this Xiao Zhen.

But someone like Xiao Zhen was killed by Zhong Yue in one punch and with such swiftness!

Such terrific power ... I have been telling him that I am the strongest Rebirth level Qi Practitioner, even wanting to compete with him. It seems I have truly embarrassed myself. When I first felt his immense killing intent, I only thought that he was good in that aspect only but I never thought that his strength would also be beyond my imagination.

Yu Zhengshu’s face turned red as he recalled his actions during the journey to the Xiao Mang Celestial Race’s place. He then thought, He did not bother arguing back because he felt that his strength was far more superior and there was no point fighting with me. But why did he say that he will not represent Swords Gate to fight the Rebirth level Qi Practitioners?”

“You dare to kill my people in our territory….”, the Xiao Mang Celestial Race’s Qi Practitioners roared and they looked towards him with palpable killing intent.

Nan Mingshan, Jun Lutang and the others immediately stood up and unleashed their aura. As their auras clashed, they created a hurricane that rampaged across the square!

The white-robed priest raised his hand and said coldly, “Today is a big day for us, the other celestial races also sent their priests here. Do not embarrass our race in front of our guests! Beside, Xiao Zhen promised a death match so we cannot blame this young man for his death! Young man, what is your name?”

Zhong Yue bowed and said, “Zhong Shan Clan’s Zhong Yue from the Great Wilderness’ Swords Gate.”

  “Zhong Shan Clan’s Zhong Yue?”

The white-robed priest looked at him and said, “Being able to kill Xiao Zhen in one punch, which means the Wu Xing Wheels Qi Practitioners would no be a match for you as well. Only martial arts grandmasters could achieve such a strong body and they do not cultivate any other techniques, unlike you. You burnt Xiao Zhen’s brain pulp with the sun fire. I assume that someone like you will be the candidate for the Rebirth level match later?”

Zhong Yue smiled and said, “You guess.”

  “You ask me to guess?”

The white-robed priest humphed and said, “There’s no need for guessing! You may be strong but you are not a celestial race. You are merely a low-rank human, you will not be able to surpass us no matter how hard you try. This is all because of the power of our bloodline. We celestial race have a stronger bloodline than the humans – we will always be inherently stronger than you lowly humans no matter how hard you try to overturn fate. In the end, you have and always will be relegated to the weakest race due to your feeble bloodline!”

Tian Yanzong and the others became angry as this was not a humiliation to them anymore, this was a humiliation to the entire human race, and a humiliation to the ancestors of all humankind!

Zhong Yue shook and replied, “The humans are the proudest race in the world. The blood that courses through our veins also once flowed through the veins of the most exalted god. Xiao Mang Celestial Race …? What are they when compared to us?”

The Xiao Mang Celestial Race’s Qi Practitioners grew enraged and they shouted again but the white-robed priest stopped them and said, “Brat, do you even know what exalted is? You will be only mocked if you told the other races that the blood within you belonged to the most exalted god. Sadly, you will not have the chance anymore. Xiao Tian, kill him!”

A Xiao Mang Celestial Race’s Qi Practitioner stood out and looked towards Zhong Yue furiously.

The white-robed priest said again, “You are after all, a lowly race with no knowledge and you have no idea as to the power we possess! Xiao Zhen is only a second tier Qi Practitioner among us and Xiao Tian is the first tier Qi Practitioner!”

The Xiao Tian raised up his head and said coldly, “Xiao Zhen had a weaker bloodline power than me and he was far weaker than me. I will not kill you in one blow but I will slowly kill you for what you have done. You will suffer and scream in pain and only once I am done toying with you, will I kill you!”

Zuo Xiangsheng coughed and said, “Elder, this way please.”

The white-robed priest walked towards him and he said, “You worry that I will interfere? Little did you know that I, on the other hand, am afraid that you will interfere instead. Xiao Tian’s capabilities are much stronger than Xiao Zhen by a few times. It is easy for him to slaughter some mere human! Xiao Tian, show them the true might of our Xiao Mang Celestial Race!”

  Hou——

Xiao Tian roared and he suddenly humped his body. His body shook and suddenly, he started growing in size and furs along with dragon scales grew all over his body as he turned into a huge beast!

It was the Three-Headed Dragon-Scaled Coiling Ao!

With the thick furs and dragon scales carved with totem carvings, he emitted a ferocious aura. He was also so big that he literally dwarfed Zhong Yue.

Then, the coiling Ao stood up like a man, causing it to look even bigger as its muscles flexed!

Seems like he is only almost a
s strong as Heavenly Monster Li Jun.

Zhong Yue put his hands behind his back as he measured Xiao Tian and thought, So he is only the first tier Qi Practitioner among them, which means that he is not the best. The celestial race that fought with junior martial sister Jin’er must be someone else. I wonder if the person will show up if I killed Xiao Tian?”

The Xiao Mang celestial race’s Qi Practitioners taunted and provoked the Swords Gate’s Qi Practitioners in order to force out some hidden trump card from them. Zhong Yue thought that this strategy was not too bad as well as he proceeded to do the same to them.

This time, no one will be able to say anything bad about Swords Gate as Zhong Yue was merely acting in retaliation against the Xiao Mang Celestial Race’s Qi Practitioners who taunted them first.

“Human, your body is strong but is your body stronger than our Xiao Mang Celestial Race’s?”

Xiao Tian shouted and he lifted up his legs and stepped towards his opponent, but Zhong Yue just stood there. Suddenly, a fleshy sound could be heard and Zhong Yue remained there like a nail that was planted into the ground while a huge hole appeared in Xiao Tian’s feet where Zhong Yue was standing!

The Xiao Mang Celestial Race’s strong body was exactly like a piece of tofu in front of Zhong Yue!

Zhong Yue’s psyche had achieved the thunder blighted pool, now being able to engrave totem carvings within his body to forge it into a tool comparable to soul weapons. With the strength inferior to Zhong Yue’s, it was natural that Xiao Tian would have a bad experience as he acted rashly by trying to step on Zhong Yue in an attempt to humiliate him!

“Xiao Zhen, Xiao Tian, really naive!”

Zhong Yue was standing in the hole created in the middle of Xiao Tian’s foot, his clothes unruffled and pristine as he was unstained from the blood and gore that surrounded him as he formed a barrier around him with his psyche that blocked the blood splatters, “Elder, you should save him right now. 【 Seventh Sword Style】!”

Xiao Tian shrieked in pain and suddenly, seven Sword Qi circled around him as the 【 Seventh Sword Style】was cast, the Sword Qi pierced through Xiao Tian’s body!

The white-robed priest tried to save Xiao Tian but to no avail as there was barely any time for him to save Xiao Tian. Before his palms reached Xiao Tian, the huge Xiao Mang Celestial Race’s Qi Practitioner shook and dropped onto the ground before being chopped into pieces by Zhong Yue.

“You’re late, elder.” said an apologetic Zhong Yue as the sword silks circled around him with some blood still dripping off of them.

  “Too late?”

Lei Teng laughed and said happily, “Junior Martial Brother Zhong, it is not that the elder was too slow, but that you were too fast! But in the end, the Xiao Mang Celestial Race can only blame themselves for their weakness!”

He felt extremely happy and so did Zuo Xiangsheng and the others. They have been enduring the humiliating taunts of the Xiao Mang Celestial Race. They wanted to lash it back on the Xiao Mang Celestial Race, but they couldn't so they could only endure in silence.

But now, their frustration and anger were now being vented by Zhong Yue as he slaughtered two Qi Practitioners from the Xiao Mang Celestial Race instantly!

“The Sword Silk Sword Cocoon Array of Shui Zian?”

The white-robed priest ignored Lei Teng and his face turned dark as he said, “You are the disciple of Shui Zian?”

Zhong Yue shook his head and replied, “I have no such luck. I only managed to learn part of his swordsmanship through a stroke of serendipity. Any more Rebirth level Qi Practitioners from the Xiao Mang Celestial Race that wishes to challenge me?”

The Xiao Mang Celestial Race’s Qi Practitioners were all angered by Zhong Yue’s blasphemous actions, but none of them did anything. After having waited for a moment, Zhong Yue shouted again, “Is there no one who dares to fight me from the great and honorable Xiao Mang Celestial Race?”

Zhong Yue walked towards the stage and he said while shaking his head, “You really do like to hide yourselves eh? Toad in the well? What a joke ... and you call yourselves the almighty celestial race?”

An Awakening level Qi Practitioner could not hold himself back and he shouted as he walked down towards Zhong Yue, “Elder, stop wasting time talking to him. Let me kill him! I will punish this lowly being by killing him for his disrespectful behavior and killing our people!”

The white-robed priest was furious as well but suddenly, he felt something and as he looked up, he saw Feng Shouzhu and the priests from the Gui Shen, Shen Ya, Shan Shen celestial race looking over towards them while they were talking cordially.

We can afford to lose but we can't afford to embarrass ourselves, especially in front of the priests from the other celestial races.

The face of the white-robed priest changed and he repressed his strong desire to kill Zhong Yue while he thought, The three great celestial races’ elder priests are present to be the judge of our battle with the Swords Gate. If I killed this brat here, we will be a laughing stock to them!

  “Back down!”

The white-robed priest immediately ordered the Awakening level Qi Practitioner and said, “You are not his opponent. He may be just a Rebirth level Qi Practitioner but his strength is on the level of the Awakening level Qi Practitioners that have opened their Wan Xiang Wheel!”

The Awakening level Qi Practitioner became startled as he was just a Qi Practitioner who had recently opened his Wu Xing Wheel. He would only be able to swallow bitter defeat if he encountered a Qi Practitioner that had already opened his Wan Xiang Wheel.

And in front this ferocious Zhong Yue who killed his opponent so swiftly, he may die just like that as the priest would not be able to save him in time at all!

Zhong Yue smiled at him as he swiped his thumb across his neck, miming a neck slice. This gesture greatly startled and agitated the Xiao Mang Celestial Race’s Awakening Qi Practitioner, causing him to immediately abandon the thought of challenging him.

“Seems like not even one Rebirth level Qi Practitioner from the Xiao Mang Celestial Race dares to fight me.”

Zhong Yue sighed and he greeted the white-robed priest and said, “Now, elder, could you please bring us to our accommodations already? It has been a long trip and after killing two of your disciples, I am feeling a little bit tired and would like to rest for the upcoming battle.”

Chapter 170: Staying With The Junior Martial Sister |

The white-robed priest took a deep breath and he suppressed his thoughts of killing Zhong Yue. Then, when he tried to say something, a Xiao Mang Celestial Race Qi Practitioner shouted, “Human, don’t be so arrogant for Senior Martial Brother Xiao Chuwen is not here! If he were here, he could have squashed you with one finger!”

“That’s right! He is the strongest Practitioner in the level of Rebirth among us and the disciple of the Elder Priest and one of the candidates for the upcoming battle! It would only require little effort on his part to kill you!”

Zhong Yue stopped walking and he said happily, “Good! Quickly get him here! Take him here as fast as possible so I can kill him faster and get my rest.”

The countless Xiao Mang Celestial Race’s Qi Practitioners on the scene got angered again and they all stood up and rushed to find Xiao Chuwen. The white-robed priest tensed up and he quickly shouted at them, “Stop your actions at once! Xiao Chuwen is no match for him! Asking Xiao Chuwen to fight with Zhong Yue would only be asking him to die!”

The Xiao Mang Celestial Race’s Qi Practitioners were stunned and they stopped at once.

Xiao Chuwen was picked as the candidate for the Rebirth level battle against Swords Gate and he was the strongest Rebirth level Qi Practitioner among them. But now, they were now hearing the white-robed priest say that Xiao Chuwen was no match for Zhong Yue!

They wanted to argue but couldn’t as the white-robed priest was an elder in the temple and his words would not be wrong!

The remarks of the white-robed priest hurt them deeply.
/>
“What are you waiting for? Go and get Xiao Chuwen quickly!”

Lei Teng urged them again, “Quick as we are rushing for a rest after killing him.”

The Xiao Mang Celestial Race’s Qi Practitioners stood there blank, not knowing what to do.

The white-robed priest frowned and he tried his best to stop himself from killing Zhong Yue. He regretted trying to mock the human Qi Practitioners and he regretted even more that he said Xiao Chuwen was no match for Zhong Yue in front of his people.

This remark had deeply affected the confidence of the Xiao Mang Celestial Race!

But Zhong Yue’s consecutive instant kills on his two opponents had also destroyed his confidence as he could not save his people in time, twice in a row at that. Before he could do anything, Xiao Zhen and Xiao Tian were already killed by Zhong Yue!

In truth, he was not the only one that experienced this. Back then the battle between Zhong Yue and ‘Shui Qingyan’ during the Lawless Battles, the Qi Practitioners in Swords Gate was also given a major headache. Everything had transpired so rapidly that even the Shen dragon failed to stop them in time as well.

During that time, their battle was so intense and their combat denied anyone any chances of interfering. Their movements were so quick that not even those stronger than him were able to stop them in time, not to mention that the Zhong Yue now was far different to the one from back then.

The white-robed priest humphed and he walked away from the square as he said, “Don’t be so arrogant, let's go.”

The Qi Practitioners from Swords Gate immediately followed behind him and they felt much more relaxed and the tension they felt before eased considerably.

Zhong Yue squinted and he thought, Xiao Chuwen and Xiao Chuqing both have ‘Chu’ in their names. What is their relationship?”
