  Krong——

The mountains were reduced to dust to reveal the imperial court that was hidden beneath. The nine Deity Overlord spirits forcibly broke through the imperial tomb entrance and disappeared into it.

Meanwhile, Feng Wuji, Clan Master Xia, and the others waited outside. Days passed, and their grand ancestors were still nowhere to be seen. As time continued to elapse, their anxiety and worry continued to mount.

  …

Meanwhile, Zhong Yue have flown to the snowy mountains at the far end of the West Barren. Living on the snowy mountain was the Shen Jiu Celestial Race. They had bold heads, and their favorite food was carrion. Thus, it came as no surprise to find out that this celestial race was never liked by others.

At the summit of the snowy mountain, Qiu Jin'er covered herself in a white fur coat, and the sun's light that shone on her accentuated her jade-like complexion. Nearby, there were two Shen Jiu Qi Practitioners watching her from the sides.

“When is this little girl going to die?”

One of the Shen Jiu Qi Practitioner mumbled, "It's been days she's been here. I'm still waiting for her to freeze to death so I can eat her."

"Why don't we just kill her and then leave her in the snow under the sun. She should be ready to eat within days." The other Shen Jiu Qi Practitioner laughingly suggested.

The first Shen Jiu lowered his head and said, "I don't think we can beat her. It's better just to let nature kill her."

Qiu Jin'er was also helpless against the two sneaky Shen Jiu Qi Practitioners. She took out a few packs of snacks and said, "Senior martial brothers, if you are hungry, I have some food that you can eat."

  "Pass!"

The two Shen Jiu Qi Practitioners raised their heads proudly and said, "We don't accept charity. We search for our own on the ground!"

Qiu Jin'er sighed helplessly, she then looked around and saw a golden ray of light flashing over. Her heart thumped with joy, and she stood up immediately. She then said, "My senior martial brother is here already. Quick, hide! My senior martial brother prefers to talk with his fists. He might just talk the two of you to death!"

Behind the golden ray, there were two golden rays there were quickly gaining on it from behind.

Qiu Jin'er then quickly took out the incense stick and burned it. The smoke from the incense stick rose high into the sky and formed a large cloud.

A strong gale then blew on the snowy mountain, but the plume of smoke from the incense stick was not affected at all as it vaguely formed a door in the sky.

Behind the door, there were the green mountains and clear rivers. Qiu Jin'er could also see the many grandiose palaces and buildings behind the door – it was like a world that only existed in the fairy tales.

A 10,000 feet tall stone tablet faced the door, and it had two words written on it.

  Kun Lun.

The world behind the door was Kun Lun!

This incense stick was the one given to her by Chi Xue before she left. She had brought Ying Nu with her back to Kun Lun but also asked one thing of Zhong Yue in return, and that was for Zhong Yue to one day visit them in Kun Lun.

  “Jin’er, go in!”

Zhong Yue rushed toward her as he shouted. Qiu Jin'er then immediately flew into the door. A powerful gust of wind blasted in from behind, and Zhong Yue stepped into the door right at her heels. He surged his psyche out and sucked the incense stick over, his claws then grabbed onto Qiu Jin'er, and he flew out again at high speed.

The two Kun Peng magnates chased him from behind, and they also entered Kun Lun just a split-second right before the door closed.

The door disappeared, and only two Shen Jiu Qi Practitioners were left on the snowy mountain.

"Jiu Randeng, where did they go?" One of the two Shen Jiu Qi Practitioners asked.

  “I … don’t know.”

The other Shen Jiu Qi Practitioner, Jiu Randeng looked around and then gazed at the place where the door disappeared. He lamented in regret, "We've just wasted days of time, this little girl did not die, and now we don't even have a fresh corpse … *sigh* we should just go back to Ling Jiu Palace!"

Chapter 431: One on One |

  Kun Lun Realm.

Zhong Yue dashed across the skies quickly and charged right into the Kun Lun World, startling the animals as well as some of its Qi Practitioners.

In a cave, a pegasus heard the thunderous noise in the sky, and when it looked up, it saw only two golden rays. With his vision blocked, the pegasus quickly flew up into the air and looked toward the golden ray. He saw the rays were chasing after something that looked like a fiery red sun. He then transformed into a Qi Practitioner with a horse-head and thought in shock, What are these? Their speeds are no slower than a phoenix, if not faster! Such incredible speed!

In another cave, a 1000-foot tall Imminent Deity level Qi Practitioner looked at Zhong Yue and the two Pengs, and he shouted, "Kun Peng Celestial Race and the three-legged golden crow? When did Kun Lun have another two races? Kua Fushan, Kua Fushan! Come and take a look at the sun!"

After keeping Qiu Jin'er in his secret realm to ensure her safety, Zhong Yue flew at such a high speed that his body slowly crumbled. His muscles were torn apart, and his organs felt like as if they had been constantly battered. If it weren't for his Immortal Body Art, he would have already been reduced to dust in mid-air long ago.

And although Qiu Jin'er was very powerful in her own right, having also cultivated the Immortal Body Art, she had yet to reach Zhong Yue's level. Thus, Zhong Yue chose to keep her in his secret realm.

Right behind him, Peng Jinyi's and Peng Qianqiu's speed was even more alarming. Their bodies enlarged as they turned into their Kun Peng forms that possessed terrifying speed.

Even after casting out his avatar, bit by bit, the two pursuers were closing in on Zhong Yue, and the gap only further shrunk after his pursuers reverted to their original forms.

Just when they were about to catch up with Zhong Yue, he suddenly dove toward the bottom where there was only an ocean that was far larger than the Eastern Sea.

  Boom——

Zhong Yue dove into the sea, immediately transforming into a 100-foot golden dragon and quickly swimming away.

"How dare you travel in the water in front of the Kun Peng Celestial Race?"

The two Pengs charged straight into the water, creating waves that submerged the surrounding celestial islands in the water.

Right after that, two green fish with black backs jumped out and back into the water again as they dove right into the ocean.

After a moment, when the two Kuns were about to catch up with him again, he quickly turned into a huge catfish with slippery dragon scales. He then burrowed into the sand underneath the ocean to continue fleeing.

As the two Kuns reached Zhong Yue's previous position, they transformed into giants, hurled their fists on the ground and shattered everything within their immediate vicinity.

The shockwaves propagated through the ground and Zhong Yue became injured from the force. The shockwaves came in seemingly never-ending waves, and Zhong Yue was forced to take the form of the Huo Xiao Celestial Race to descend further into the mantle, diving into the magma to escape the effects of their attacks.

He slithered through the lava for 1000 miles, and suddenly, he turned into the form of the Gou She Celestial Race. He dug out from the rocks and flew into the skies again, turning into three-legged golden crow again as he flew away.

When the two pursuers finally burst up from beneath the ocean and into the skies again, they were shocked at seeing the number of forms that Zhong Yue was able to take.

“Seriously, what race is he from?”

Peng Qianqiu murmured, “A normal human can’t possibly shift into so many forms.”

  “Just get him!”

Peng Jinyi turned into the Peng form again, and as he chased after Zhong Yue, he replied, "Even if he turns into a flower or whatever, he will not be able to e
scape from our【Sky Searching Art】!"

The duo continued to fly at their breakneck speed, and it didn't take long before they caught up with Zhong Yue again. Zhong Yue was then about to dive back into the ground, but just he was about to burrow beneath it, Peng Jinyi roared and pressed his palms onto the ground,

deploying totem carvings that increased its hardness to prevent Zhong Yue breaking the ground's surface.

It was too late for Zhong Yue to stop, and he crashed into the ground, concussing himself from the sheer force of impact.

  Boom boom——-

Peng Jinyi and Peng Qianqiu landed on the ground and surrounded him, closing off any possible paths of escape.

Zhong Yue then got up, reverting to his original human form while laughing, "Senior martial brothers of the Kun Peng Race, we should all be familiar with each other by now, so why do you all want to kill me so badly?"

"Hmph, brat, hand over the Divine Wing Saber, and we will eat you straight away without torturing you. If you don't hand it over, we will torment you to death!" replied Peng Jinyi.

Zhong Yue stood up straight and replied, "Hmph, for the famous Kun Peng Celestial Race to send out two magnates for a lowly Heavenly Dharma Qi Practitioner such as myself ... I thought that the honorable Kun Peng Celestial Race was a race that dared to fight head-on against the dragons. If you still have any modicum of that pride, then fight me one on one. If I lose, I will gladly hand my life over to you!"

Peng Jinyi and Peng Qianqiu looked at each other, and the former said, "Alright, let's give him the death he wants! I will kill him myself, Qianqiu, just stand aside and stop this brat from running

  away!"

Peng Qianqiu then walked away and stopped at the summit of a nearby mountain. He stood on one leg and proclaimed, "With me here, he has nowhere to go!"

With a serious expression, Zhong Yue turned into his Fu Xi true form, opened up his divine eye and said, “Come on!”

Without a word, Peng Jinyi turned into a Peng-headed celestial being with golden wings and swung his wings made of sword feathers toward Zhong Yue.

This attack was particularly fearsome as each of the feathers was equivalent to a Golden Peng Sword. Before the attack landed, the mountain behind him was already cut in half!

However, before the attack landed on Zhong Yue, a semi-transparent bell appeared around him to fend off Peng Jinyi's attack, but his bell was instead severed in half!

  “【Celestial Demon Yi】!”

The【Celestial Demon Tai Chi Art】appeared around Zhong Yue, and he pushed his palms toward Peng Jinyi's attack, fending it off, but at the same time, being pushed back from the force of the collision.

But it wasn't so simple to stop Peng Jinyi's attack. His attack continued to cut into Zhong Yue's Tai Chi Art, but its power was being absorbed by the Tai Chi Art as well.

“Seems like you only know this move?”

Peng Jinyi laughed as he continued to send a rapid barrage of attacks with his wings at Zhong Yue!

  Dang dang dang——

Each time his Shao Hao Bell was sliced apart by Peng Jinyi, Zhong Yue would quickly visualize it again while casting the【Celestial Demon Yi】to defend himself.

  “Die!”

Peng Jinyi closed in on Zhong Yue again, rained down attacks on Zhong Yue with his wings, and at the same time, he hurled his fist toward Zhong Yue.

The punch evoked a roaring pitch-black ocean; Peng Jinyi visualized the wildest and most violent rogue waves of the oceans in the Celestial Wood Star as he launched out his fist!

When compared with the skills in the Ancestral Star, this attack was the quintessence of ruthlessness, cruelty, and violence. It was as if the rampaging ocean in Celestial Wood Star had appeared on the Ancestral Star itself!

Immediately, Zhong Yue's calm expression faltered, and he suddenly shouted, causing his【Celestial Demon Tai Chi Art】to spin quickly. One by one, countless gods appeared around the Tai Chi Art and prayed toward Zhong Yue. They each had a different appearance, aura, presence, but they all looked real.

  “Prayers of the million gods!”

Zhong Yue shouted and bowed toward the front and hurled his fist back at Peng Jinyi.

  Hong long——-

A loud explosion rang out, and as Zhong Yue's fish came in contact with Peng Jinyi's, the rogue waves rolled back toward Peng Jinyi, and his attack was stopped.

Blood gushed out from Zhong Yue's mouth, and one of Peng Jinyi's feathers barely missed Zhong Yue's chest but still managed to leave a deep wound on it.

Peng Jinyi then charged forward again and was shocked when light wheels appeared behind Zhong Yue's head all of a sudden while Qiu Jin'er charged out with the Golden Peng Sword as she cut toward Peng Jiny's wings.

However, her attack was quickly stopped by Peng Jinyi's wings, and at the same time, Zhong Yue bowed toward the front and punched toward Peng Jinyi once again.

This time, his punch, after being amplified by the prayers of the million gods, was even stronger than before as it landed right at the center of Peng Jinyi's chest.

Peng Jinyi's chest sunken immediately under the power of Zhong Yue's attack, and as Zhong Yue struck him, Qiu Jin'er raised her sword and stabbed towards Peng Jinyi's head.

“Brat, I thought you said one on one?” shouted Peng Qianqiu immediately as he pounced towards Zhong Yue and Qiu Jin’er.

Zhong Yue bowed again, attacked Peng Jinyi and sent Peng Jinyi flying and crashing into a mountain.

He then turned around and said to Peng Qianqiu, "I guess you thought that I wouldn't lie then."

With an angry roar, Peng Qianqiu turned into the Golden-Winged Peng, stretched out his incredibly huge wings and clashed with Zhong Yue's attack which was amplified by the prayers.

Immediately, they both struck each other away while Qiu Jin'er who was standing on Zhong Yue's shoulder suddenly jumped onto Peng Qianqiu's wings and hacked at them.

Upon being struck by Qiu Jin’er, Peng Qianqiu flapped his wings and hurled Qiu Jin’er away.

Meanwhile, Zhong Yue who was pushed back once again turned into the golden crow, and before Qiu Jin'er crashed into something, Zhong Yue quickly pulled her back into his secret realm.

As soon as Qiu Jin'er was back in his secret realm, Zhong Yue instantly flapped his wings and flew away.

When Peng Qianqiu wanted to chase after them, he felt an immense pain coming from his wings, and he had no choice but to return to the ground. At the same time, Peng Jinyi rushed out from the mountain he crashed into, and as blood dripped down from his head, he felt the pain coming from his wings as well when he tried to move his wings.

Frustration and anger overwhelmed the two of them immediately, and they all cursed angrily, "This brat talked about rules with us, but it was also him that broke the rules! How dare he hides a small girl in his secret realm and ambush us with her!"

"Thank god that we did not suffer any heavy injuries. He will not escape again when we recover from our injuries!"

Chapter 432: Tian Wu God |

Night had descended upon the world, and Zhong Yue and Qiu Jin'er looked up to see three bright moons dangling high in the sky above. They couldn't help but feel odd. Suddenly, another moon rose from the horizon only to be followed by another two bright moons.

There was a total of six moons!

"Kun Lun is really a different world. It is not part of the Ancestral Star."

Qiu Jin'er was filled with joy, "Senior martial brother, the delicacies here must be very different than Ancestral Star!"

They had rid themselves of the two Kun Peng magnates that were chasing them, but they couldn't find the Western Mother Empire so quickly. Thus, they could only travel under the moonlight.

Zhong Yue nodded at Qiu Jin'er. His Yuan Shen suddenly turned to the three-legged, six-eyed Star Toad. Its mouth opened up and started gulping the moonlight like swallowing a waterfall that rushed down from the sky. Zhong Yue could immediately feel his cultivation advancing much faster than it di
d on the Ancestral Star. It was nearly comparable to cultivating on the moon itself.

Furthermore, the Qi Practitioners that had cultivated the moon spirit would be stronger than those from the Ancestral Star.

What was more bizarre was that the Star Toad's six eyes matched the number of moons in the sky. The moonlight showered down on him, and Zhong Yue could feel his Star Toad strengthening at an incredible rate. More totem patterns emerged within the six eyes, turning solid and clear.

The emergence of the new totem patterns in the Star Toad denoted that it had grown stronger, maturing even more and gaining more skills!

This was something that had never happened before in the Ancestral Star!

Kun Lun was definitely the best place for those whose cultivating aligned with the moon!

Zhong Yue was puzzled as he thought, Strange, just exactly where is this Kun Lun? How is it that it is way better to cultivate here than on the Ancestral Star?

“Kun Lun is much bigger than Ancestral Star.”

Qiu Jin'er looked around and said, "We've been flying for so long, and it still seems like we are just at the same corner of this continent."

Zhong Yue nodded. Kun Lun was bigger than their expectations, at least a few times bigger than the Celestial Wood Star. However, fortunately for Kun Lun, it wasn't an oceanic wasteland. Its environment seemed suited to nurture life; it had mountains, rivers, hills and lands.

“There is … a slight surge of the Heavenly Monarch’s air.”

Xin Huo looked around through Zhong Yue's visions, and he mumbled softly, "Weird, is there also a Heavenly Monarch here other than Ancestral Star?"

A celestial temple came into their view, and Zhong Yue suddenly stopped. He landed in front of the celestial temple and gazed at the two godly statues beside the door. The golden coatings on the godly statues had fallen off, and some of their arms were broken, but all of these weren't what caught his eyes — it was the six golden light wheels behind them.
