The spirit seat of Tong Zheng from the Fuxi Celestial Race.

The spirit seat of Qi Quexi from the Fuxi Celestial Race.

The spirit seat of Dong Chengshu from the Fuxi Celestial Race.

The spirit seat of Yi Yunlian from the Fuxi Celestial Race.

Zhong Yue’s gaze passed by these spirit tablets one by one, and he realized that the majority of these spirit tablets belonged to unnamed individuals. Those Fuxi that died in sixth battle were mostly nameless; these unnamed warriors came from every corner from the different worlds, but they all came forth all with one goal: to put up a final fight for the sake of Fuxi Celestial Race. Many of them did not have the time to leave their names behind. Some had their bodies completely destroyed in the battle or some were mutilated to the point that their body were beyond recognizable.

Zhong Yue remained silent as he bowed to these spirit tables. He seemed to have heard weeping from the spirit tablets. He slowly dozed off when he stared at these spirit tablets, but he vaguely saw spirits of those fallen Fuxi Celestial Race’s warriors standing behind these tablets, each looked tall and mighty.

He thought he saw the people that survived from the battle and they all knelt before these spirit tablets.

And there was an old voice that shouted, “May our people find peace in the afterlife——”

Zhong Yue turned around, exited the temple and nodded to his companions, “Let’s go.”

His expression was dignified, as if there was no emotion in his heart.

With the portal activated, they continued their journey. After months, they arrived at another battlefield; this battlefield was also a battle the Fuxi Celestial Race ran into when they were traveling to the Ancestral Star.

  This was the Fifth battlefield.

Unlike the Sixth Battlefield, the Fifth Battlefield was a huge sun whose flames had extinguished long ago. Now, this sun looked just like a dark and gloomy ball that hung high in the dark skies. The remnants of the arts that were cast here long ago in the battle were the only source of light that illuminated the bleak landscape.

Zhong Yue found the memorial tablet in the Fifth Battlefield, and he entered the temple to pay his respects to the warriors of Fuxi whose spirits were all destroyed in the battle.

Soon, they arrived at the Forth Battlefield after a month’s time.

  Chapter 611: Traitor |

Moving forward along the galactic pathway, they walked past one battlefield after another. These battlefields were all situated within the first Six Paths World, they were the final remnants of the battle that determined the fate of the Fuxi Celestial Race.

Finally, they arrived at the First Battlefield. It was the largest and goriest battlefield of all, being littered with graves.

“Burial mounds of the Fuxi Race, Feng Clan, Tian Qiong Tribe!”

“Burial mounds of the Fuxi Race, Feng Clan, Tian Qi Tribe!”

“Burial mounds of the Fuxi Race, Feng Clan, Tian Yi Tribe!”

“Burial mounds of the Fuxi Race, Feng Clan, He Xiong Tribe’s Nu Wa Clan!”

“Burial mounds of the Fuxi Race, Feng Clan, Tian Yang Tribe!”

“Burial mounds of the Fuxi Race, Feng Clan, Tian You Tribe!”

“Burial mounds of the Fuxi Race, Feng Clan, Hou Niao Tribe!”

“Burial mounds of the Fuxi Race, Feng Clan, Hou Chong Tribe!”

“Burial mounds of the Fuxi Race, Feng Clan, Lei Yu Tribe!”

“Burial mounds of the Fuxi Race, Feng Clan, Tian Huang Tribe!”

  …

  ……

There were far too many deceased to count; thus, they were buried together in the same mound under the name of their tribes.

Zhong Yue looked at the burial mounds with a heavy heart while Xin Huo was also unusually quiet. After a long time, he said, “Brat Yue, the Feng Clan has ten tribes, and it is the strongest and largest clan of the Fuxi Celestial Race. It is the first clan and surname used in the Fuxi Celestial Race, every other clan and surnames within the Fuxi Celestial Race all originated from the Feng Clan. Before I fell into my slumber, the Feng Clan’s ten tribes was the strongest faction in the Fuxi Celestial Race.”

The Feng Clan was the root of all Fuxi, but its history could be traced back to the era of the Sui Sovereign.

And now, Zhong Yue was seeing the burial mounds of the Feng Clan ten tribes right before his eyes!

Tian Qiong, Tian Qi, Tian Yi, He Xiong’s Nu Wa Clan, Tian Yang, Tian You, Hou Niao, Hou Chong, Lei Yu, and Tian Huang. These were the preeminent warriors of the ten tribes, and it was here in the First Battlefield where they fought to the end of their lives!

From the remnants of the war and aftermath of the battles in the battlefield, they were caught off guard and ambushed by a strong force. Their enemies must be far beyond what they were capable of contending with, which was why even the strongest warriors of the Feng Clan ten tribes had suffered great casualties!

“Memorial Tablet to My Brothers and Sisters Resting Eternally in the First Battlefield.”

Zhong Yue found the memorial tablet, but this time, other than the usual memorial words to the deceased, there was another sentence engraved below it.

“Our defeat is certain, it is inevitable; but bravery we still have, and the fight we will never stop. For even a glimpse of hope is more than enough for us to give everything we have to ensure the future of our descendants!”

Zhong Yue’s heart grew heavier. Whoever wrote the words still had hope that they would prevail.

  “Traitor betrayed our sovereign race!”

There were a few words that were carved on the tablet with blood. The resentment in them was still palpable even after 80 thousand years; even Zhong Yue shuddered upon feeling it.

Other than that, there was also a broken sentence following behind it, “... annihilated the Fuxi!”

The beginning of the sentence would be a name, but it had been wiped away.

Zhong Yue kept mum, although he didn’t know what exactly happened in the past, it was not hard for him to roughly infer the sequence of events—the ten tribes of the Fuxi Feng Clan had secretly gathered their best warriors to the Ancestral Star, and they were going to awaken the spirits of the Fuxi Heavenly Monarchs and the imperial weapons so as to bring hope and order back to the Fuxi Empire.

However, a traitor within the race had leaked intelligence out to their enemies, and they were fatally ambushed. A vast number of experts were slaughtered in the initial mayhem while the remaining survivors pushed their way toward the Ancestral Star. However, the nightmare had yet to end as five other ambushes were waiting for them on their way toward the destination.

It was a journey painted with the blood and paved with the bodies of their fellow brethren. Finally, when the remaining forces reached the Ancestral Star, Patriarch Nature was already there waiting for them. In the face of a strong and well-prepared force, the last ‘battle’ on the Ancestral Star was more like a bloody massacre than a battle to those who defied Patriarch Nature’s orders and refused to bow.

After that, when the victor returned from the Ancestral Star, and passed by the First Battlefield, the excited traitor must have written down his thoughts upon the corpses of the dead Fuxi. However, what puzzled Zhong Yue the most was why the traitor’s name was wiped away?

And more importantly, who wiped it away?

Zhong Yue carefully looked at the words. The name was crossed off by the fingers. There, he could see faint blood marks staining the fingerprints.

Every race had their own unique fingerprint. They represented the structure of the race’s totem patterns and is symbolic of the race itself. The Fuxi Celestial Race was no exception to this rule. The arches, loops and whorls on the fingers shaped resembled dragons and snakes.

Zhong Yue carefully inspected the blood-stained fingerprint, and an inexplicable expression climbed on his face as he mumbled sorrowfully, “He is also a Fuxi… Haha, a Fuxi traitor that brought death upon his own people. No wonder… no wonder he wip
ed away his name... “

He took out a piece of divine gold and melted it. He then made a mold of the fingerprint with the molten gold before storing it back inside his Yuan Shen secret realms.

“Let’s go.” When he turned back around, Zhong Yue had already regained his usual composure.

Then, they entered the last teleportation portal of the first Six Paths World on a journey to the unknown galaxy.

A year flashed by in the blink of an eye, and before they realized, a huge bluish planet has appeared in front of them. Light seemed to reflect away from the planet like a refined gem.

Before long, they saw another pitch black planet orbiting behind the bluish planet. The planets were orbiting in circles like two gems that revolved around one another.

The teleportation beam was directed toward the two planets; but it was still unclear as to which planet it was heading toward.

Meanwhile, further away from them, there were three suns moving rhythmically in a bizarre course; it was a truly stunning view to behold.

Other than that, there were also a few stars orbiting around the suns. The immense heat of the suns burned them into balls of lava, periodically absorbed and jettisoned out again by the suns.

In turn, the other two planets were situated not too far nor too close to the suns, a perfect distance for them to harbor life.

“What a stunning world.” Bai Canghai praised, “Are these two planets the Zi Wei Planetary System?”

Meanwhile, the teleportation beam blasted down toward the bluish planet.

But suddenly, the teleportation beam shuddered violently, and an appalling force repelled Zhong Yue and the others out from it; even Old Man Six Paths was pushed out from Zhong Yue’s Yuan Shen secret realms!

“What? What kind of power is this?” The crowd was greatly shocked. It seemed like there was a barrier around the planet that stopped the teleportation beam from entering.

“Senior martial brothers, are you here to send your disciples for the feast as well?” A deep voice abruptly rumbled behind them. Shi Buyi and Old Man Six Paths turned around and were shocked. Behind them were many grand-looking ships, carriages, floating palaces, and mounts carrying demon gods within.

They glanced around and found that there were no fewer than a few hundred demon gods here!

This was something beyond their imagination, not even the total number of gods in the Ancestral Star could match the congregation before them!

Shi Buyi shuddered as he realized they were now standing right in the center of hundreds of demon gods!

If the demon gods wanted to, they could be reduced to dust in just a matter of seconds!

The demon god speaking to them had a heavy build, a necklace made from the skulls of 28 gods. The tendon of a divine dragon was also hung around his neck.

Shi Buyi furtively calmed his shuddering heart, he returned the formality and asked with a smile, “Yes, I am here to send my disciples over. Senior martial brother, what should I call you as?”

Meanwhile, a slight surge of joy lurked in his heart as he thought, Haha, I didn’t say Master Zhong is my disciple, but the demon god. Now he has no choice but to publicly acknowledge me as his teacher. Well, I didn’t do this intentionally, the blame is not on me.

Rays flashed across Zhong Yue’s eyes, he never said anything and glanced around instead. These demon gods have all brought their disciples along with them, these demon disciples were incredibly strong; most of them were Imminent Deity magnates with only a few prominent True Spirit magnates. But even the True Spirit magnates out here were much stronger than the Qi Practitioners in the Ancestral Star!

“I am Chan Dongtuan, a member of the Heavenly Toad Saint Clan from the Left Fang Galaxy, and also a subordinate to the Emerald Heaven Dharma King.”

Chan Dongyuan rolled the skull ornaments on his necklace while a creepy smile broke out of his hideous face as he said, “Senior martial brothers, you don’t look too weak at all. I wonder where you all came from?”

“An insignificant place in the corner of the universe.” Old Man Six Paths answered placidly, “If Senior Martial Brother Chan really wants to know, then the place where we came from is basically a beggar’s camp compared to the outside world. I am Dao Liu, and he is Shi Buyi. It’s a bit shameful to say, but we are new and know nothing at all. Can Senior Martial Brother Chan provide us some guidance along the way?”

Shi Buyi quickly praised Old Man Six Paths’s quick wit. They had no idea where they were or what was going on. Thus, it was best for them to maintain a low profile and play the fool.

Chan Dongyuan didn’t think too much, he laughed and said, “The Prison Realm is also not too great a world, but we still have powerful figures that walked out among the crowd. Don’t you two worry too much, although the status of the monster and human race are low, I will not look down on the two of you. After all, the Emerald Heaven Dharma King said it is the heart and mind that determines the strength of a cultivator, not the race they come from.”

Shi Buyi was speechless, the monster race shares the same lowly status as the human race?

“As long as it’s not the celestial race, the Prison Realm doesn’t mind any others. However, why do the two of you have a celestial race disciple?”

Chan Dongyuan’s eyes glared like fire at Bai Canghai while he sneered coldly, “Senior martial brothers, how you dare to take in a celestial Qi Practitioners as a disciple?”

Shi Buyi quickly smiled and said, “This celestial Qi Practitioners is an abandoned child, he is a Comet Innate Spirit Body.”

“Comet Innate Spirit Body?” Chan Dongyuan startled for a split second and laughed loudly right after, “No wonder the celestial race doesn’t want him. Hehe, good, good. The Comet Innate Spirit Body is also known as the Curse Spirit, inherently born with the curse totem patterns. It is truly amazing that you all are still surviving around him. However, his curse totem patterns seemed to be inactive, he still doesn’t know how to cultivate yet. Otherwise, he would be stronger and more horrifying than any other demon god! Really quite a good seedling you have there!”

Shi Buyi and Old Man Six Paths looked at one another in shock as they thought, Bai Canghai’s spirit is really that strong?

Chapter 612: Crush and Kill Those that Defy Me! |

Bai Canghai was also shocked. Initially, instead of him being the one that brought bad luck, he thought the those around him were just plain unlucky but now, it seems like he really has the Comet Innate Spirit Body according to Chan Dongyuan!

“His Yuan Shen should be a huge snake and that snake is called the Cursed Luck True Spirit.”

The more Chan Dongyuan looked at Bai Canghai, the more he grew fond of him and he said, “What a shame, I have no understanding on the way of cultivation for such an innate body or I would have taken him as my disciple.”

Zhong Yue gave Shi Buyi a signal and Shi Buyi quickly asked, “I beg your pardon, senior martial brother, but is there an expert out there in this field?”

Chan Dongyuan thought for a moment and he said, “There is only a little Curse Spirit Body out there and I have yet to hear anyone with Curse Spirit Body even in our Prison Realm. I lack the knowledge in this particular field but that cannot necessarily be said for the Emerald Heaven Dharma King. He possesses incredible knowledge and will probably know the cultivation technique of such innate spirit body. After this, if you all manage to obtain a good score, you will be granted a chance to see him. As someone who views talented individuals favorably, Emerald Heaven Dharma King will be more than happy to guide you, under the condition that you are all alive.”

Chan Dongyuan looked at Zhong Yue, then Qiu Jin’er and Jun SIxie and he praised, “Three innate spirit bodies! Both of you are all Imminent Deity level Qi Practitioners and this one right here is even more incredible! Your cultivation level may be slightly lower but you are actually a Sun and Moon Innate Spirit Body! You actually managed to find such talented human subspecies!”

  A talented human subsp
ecies?

Zhong Yue was speechless as Chan Dongyuan was obviously talking about him, but the term “subspecies” made him lost his words.

Chan Dongyuan laughed and said again, “Everyone sends out their best students in this great event. The elites of our Prison Realm Left Fang Galaxy are also all here today. My dear senior martial brothers, it will be difficult if your students want to shine brightly today! It is hard to tell if the four of them can survive or not but if they died, it really is a shame.”

“A huge event? What kind of huge event?”

Zhong Yue and the others were all confused and they thought, Judging from what he said, this event seems to be quite dangerous, why did they seal these twin planets and what are they waiting for?

Although confused, they did not ask Chan Dongyuan directly and continued to pretend that they knew about this, acting like they were here to attend this event.

“The Prison Realm is incredibly vast and the Left Fang Galaxy was the galaxy where the teeth of Pan Gu Six Path Celestial was located.“

Chan Dongyuan said proudly, “Although our demon race lives in the Prison Realm, we are no weaker than the Celestial Realm of the celestial race! After this event, the disciples that triumph will still have to fight the little brats from Celestial Realm to see who is stronger!”

As Chan Dongyuan kept saying, questions continued to pop up in Zhong Yue’s and the others’ minds. They all thought, What is this Celestial Realm and Prison Realm? Where are they from?

Though their questions remained, one thing they were sure of was that they had been teleported to one of the Six Paths World but they still have no idea which of the Six Paths World they arrived at or how far more are they away from the Zi Wei Imperial Star.

“We’ve always been at the bottom, ranked number 2999th among the three thousand Six Paths Worlds. The first Six Paths World was deserted long ago, otherwise, we would be 3000th. Thus, we are aiming for a better ranking and those right there are the elites among the elites!”

Chan Dongyuan pointed at the disciples of the other gods and he whispered, “These guys came here with great sheer force of will! Their disciples were cultivated by them for thousands of years. There is one that managed to achieve the extreme state in each level! Haha, this guy is very strong and he is definitely representing us!”
