  Blood rays extended out from the axe, cleaving the sunfire into halves like waves in front of him.

  Amidst the blood rays were the souls of the dead swarming over at Zhong Yue!

  “Reverse Emperor amended the flaws in his past life.” Bi suddenly said, “This is his strongest skill. It was cast in the last battle of his past life, but a flaw in it was seized by his opponent and it lead to his death. But now, it seemed like he had managed to patch the flaw in this skill.”

  An nodded, but shook his head again just seconds later, “But it was only the flaw in this particular skill that was fixed, there isn’t much improvements in his arts.”

  Zhong Yue’s clothes fluttered against his own billowing aura, the hairband disintegrated away, he and set his white hairs loose in the air.

  The young man let out a strong bellow, his muscles bulged out, and two additional arms grew out from his body. He then clasped the divine sabers and swung them in a cross shape!

  The twin sabers were like two soaring dragons, shearing Reverse Emperor’s skill away in an instant and leaving a deep crack on the Blood Axe. The Reverse Emperor muffled a deep groan, and he felt a peculiar force of energy pummeling through the axe into his hands and exploding within his muscles.

  “Is this the third style of the【God Slaying Three Styles】?” Faces of the experts changed drastically and they grew solemn as they said, “Strong, how strong! This skill is capable of crushing almost every skill!”

  Yet, little did they know that this wasn’t the third style of the【God Slaying Three Styles】nor was it created by Zhong Yue. This skill had proven to be unstoppable in many battles and was created by a cultivator whose talent and dedication were beyond comprehension!

  The Reverse Emperor was struck hard, the mini Reverse Emperor on his head suddenly fluttered the Blood Banner and with a loud boom, Zhong Yue’s mortal body exploded. His blood essence was sucked toward the banner like a stream of river!

  The solar storms only enhanced the power of the twin sabers while his mortal body remained the same. At such close proximity, the Blood Banner was strong enough to greatly affect and even siphon his blood essence out from him.

  Zhong Yue’s mortal body wrinkled at a great speed, but his gaze remained tranquil as he pulled the sabers back as a single beam of light which eventually formed into a glowing light scabbard.

  The light scabbard glowed brighter, and as Zhong Yue drew out the Metamagnet Divine Saber, the Metamagnet Divine Rays emanated into the surroundings. The space around them distorted and its balance was toppled, opening up countless tiny space rifts around him!

  Second style of the【God Slaying Three Styles】—【Moon Tide】!

  Reverse Emperor swung the the Blood Axe and blocked the Metamagnet Divine Saber; however, the Metamagnet Divine Rays around the saber were unaffected and continued to pummel into him, tearing open space rifts right within his body!

  Meanwhile, the Blood Banner had sucked all of Zhong Yue’s blood essence out from his body, inflicting severe damage to Zhong Yue as well. He looked no different to a mummy at this point.

  “I may be severely wounded, but you have no blood essence anymore. Death is the only way out for you!” The Reverse Emperor laughed loudly, and he blocked the incoming Metamagnet Divine Saber again and was further wounded, but he neglected it all. Instead, he grew happier and his battle spirit only became more inflamed as he swung the axe toward Zhong Yue’s head, “Your cultivation will be useless without the support of your blood essence, will you still be able to block my axe? Your third style is no secret to me now, how do you think you can defeat me with a skill that can’t kill me?”

  All of a sudden, a deep thrumming sound resonated out from within Zhong Yue’s body; the Fuxi divine heart thumped vigorously, pumping an abundance of energy througho his body, quickly regenerating his mortal body to its peak state.

  Zhong Yue clenched the Metamagnet Divine Saber and parried the Blood Axe just in time, while the other pair of hands raised the gleaming Solar Divine Saber high up and slashed it down!

  Before the saber was even slashed down, the light rays from the Solar Divine Saber were already shot down like a barrage of javelins!

  It was the【Sun Burst】!

  The Blood Axe clashed on the Metamagnet Divine Saber, nearly breaking the saber into halves. Its immense impact force pressed the saber into Zhong Yue’s left shoulder while the Blood Axe cleaved into Zhong Yue’s skull.

  Meanwhile, the【Sun Burst】also engulfed Reverse Emperor in its blinding light. Reverse Emperor’s Yuan Shen flew into the mini Reverse Emperor and it bolted out from the saber lights.

  After the【Sun Burst】, the mini Reverse Emperor returned to the mortal body while spitting out a mouthful of blood.

  Although his Yuan Shen managed to evade the strike, the arcane energy, psyche and totem patterns in his mortal body were greatly injured. The【Sun Burst】wasn’t a skill that targets on the physical mortal body, instead it would only strike on the totem patterns in the mortal body, the internal organs and cultivation base.

  Thus, even though the【Sun Burst】did not inflict any physical wounds on the Reverse Emperor’s mortal body, it was in fact destroyed beyond repair!

  Shit, my Immortal Body’s been broken! Reverse Emperor’s heart thumped in shock, but the Solar Divine Saber had beheaded him before he could react to it.

  The Blood Axe fell to the ground, and the Blood Banner slipped away from his hands. Zhong Yue stretched his hand out and grabbed the Reverse Emperor’s skull, he twisted Reverse Emperor’s neck and ripped his head off.

  It was at this moment that the three suns slowly drifted moved away from one another, and the solar storms started to cease.

  Outside of the twin planets, the demon gods looked down at the battle. Li Tianxing and the others were the first to enter their eyes, followed by Zhong Yue and Reverse Emperor’s head in his hand.

  “Reverse Emperor… was killed by a mere human!?”

  Chapter 624: Bi and An |

  In the Left Fang Galaxy, over hundreds of gods were stunned with various kinds of expressions on their faces as they stared at Zhong Yue holding the Reverse Emperor’s decapitated head!

  Just who was this Reverse Emperor? A demon emperor in his past life, and reincarnated as an even more talented cultivator in this life. Yet, he was killed by a mere human, his life ending with his head held like a prize?

  The solar storms shrouded the twin planets and hindered their senses, thus, none of the gods knew what happened during that period of time.

  Now that the solar storms subsided, it was already out of their expectation to see a few hundred Qi Practitioners were only left with a handful standing; let alone that Reverse Emperor was killed by Zhong Yue!

  One of the demon gods glanced around, then staring closely at Reverse Emperor’s head and said abruptly, “No, Reverse Emperor is not dead yet. Hs Immortal Body is broken, but his Yuan Shen is still in the head!”

  Reverse Emperor’s Yuan Shen was sealed in his head by Zhong Yue, the Solar Divine Saber closed the wound on his skull and the arcane energy corked the apertures of his head, leaving all of his effort to escape in vain.

  Zhong Yue raised the saber, and just seconds before he swung it down, one of the demon gods shouted loudly, “Stop, human! The competition is over, there are only seven of you left, there is no need to kill anymore!”

  Zhong Yue raised his head, he laughed loudly as he replied, “Seniors, Reverse Emperor is no longer a competitor. He is now nothing more than a prisoner of mine and shall be disqualified from the competition!”

  The demon gods frowned; Zhong Yue holds the Reverse Emperor’s head in his hand, and that gave him the capability of killing Reverse Emperor in an instant if they did not comply to his request.

  “Young man of the Zhong Shan Clan, we have no say in disqualifying Reverse Emperor, only the great Emerald Heaven
Dharma King has such power.” The old demon god laughed and said, “Release Reverse Emperor for the moment, the Dharma King will provide you with a satisfactory answer once we meet her.”

  Zhong Yue sneered back frigidly, he tied the Reverse Emperor’s head by his head and said while smiling, “Since the seniors are pleading for his survival, I shall let him live now. However, it is impossible for me to release him. Before any judgement is passed by the Emerald Heaven Dharma King, the Reverse Emperor will remain my prisoner. If the Dharma King orders him to be released, I will do as told; but if Dharma King said he can die, I will consume and devour every tiny bit of energy in his Yuan Shen!

  The demon gods exchanged a look, and they all nodded solemnly.

  Meanwhile, Zhong Yue also furtively heaved a breath of relief. All of a sudden, Bi conducted his voice to Zhong Yue and said, “Human of the Zhong Shan Clan, the Reverse Emperor’s head will ensure your survival.”

  An nodded, his voice rammed right after, “It is truly an amazing move. With Reverse Emperor’s life in your hands, not only will the Left Fang Galaxy be shocked, all the other galaxies and Dharma Kings will know of your name. It will be harder for the Emerald Heaven Dharma King to do anything to you anymore.”

  Bi lowered his voice, “Then, when the Realm Lord hears of your name, the Emerald Heaven Dharma King will most likely leave you alone ever since.”

  An continued, “You picked the Reverse Emperor as your target, presumably because of his high prestige? The greater he is, the more you will be able to shake the Prison Realm. So now, I do wonder, if there isn’t a Reverse Emperor here, who would you pick as your target among the two of us? Can you enlighten us?”

  Bi and An stared at his face, carefully inspecting every single change of expressions on his face in attempt to glean his answer.

  Zhong Yue smiled, he tilted his head slightly and glanced over at Consort Han.

  Bi and An exchanged a look and saw the same curiosity and surprise in their eyes, they asked in unison, “Why her? She is the imperial consort, Realm Monarch’s beloved consort. You dare to touch her, but not us, not the others?”

  “The two of you are far too strong beyond my match.” Zhong Yue replied while a demon god’s hand lowered into the superimposed magnetic field.

  The remaining experts including Zhong Yue boarded the giant hand while he lowered his voice, “Li Tianxing is a prominent cultivator among the young ones, but he is not well-known enough to be my target. Zhen Yao is a lady, even though her fame is not as strong as Reverse Emperor’s, I still find it a shame to challenge the ladies and hang their heads on my waist.”

  “Then why Consort Han?” Bi and An pursued, “She is also a lady, furthermore, an imperial consort. What gives you the courage to kill her?”

  “Why not?” Zhong Yue replied frigidly, “I am confident to say that even if I killed Consort Han, no one else would dare to harm me. Because once you do, a motherly existence from the higher realm will protect me, or maybe even provide me with guidance and resources!”

  Bi and An startled for a second, they then asked curiously, “Motherly figure? Higher realm? You are referring to the queen?”

  Zhong Yue nodded, “Consort Han only ended up here because someone wanted her to leave the Realm Monarch, that’s why she is imprisoned away in the Prison Realm. If I kill and stopped her from leaving, the queen will be more than happy to take me under her protection.”

  “Then why Reverse Emperor, not Consort Han?” An asked curiously.

  “She is a lady.” Zhong Yue answered placidly, “Furthermore, I have no intention of relying on the queen to shield me, or otherwise, there will be idiots that criticize me for being a boy toy.”

  Bi and An looked at one another, they then burst out in laughters as they said, “Very true! Junior martial brother, we would like to know one more thing.”

  The two of them now addressed Zhong Yue as their junior martial brother to bring their friendship closer, “That skill, the twin dragons, is that the thirdy style of the【God Slaying Three Styles】?”

  Zhong Yue smiled, but did not reply.

  Although it was a rather informal conversation they were having, they weren’t really close at all. There were no good people here in the Prison Realm, those that one called brothers today might be those that stabbed you in the back tomorrow.

  Seeing that he had no intention in answering, Bi and An didn’t pursue the matter further.

  The demon god’s giant hand brought them out from the twin planets into the endless space. Around them, the many demon gods were sitting on altars shining in solemn rays.

  Whereas in the middle of the altars, there were many demon divine weapons and treasures glimmering brightly.

  Zhong Yue was puzzled looking at it all.

  All of a sudden, one of the demon gods forced a wry smile at Shi Buyi, “Lion, you are truly lucky. Of the six and a half survivors, the Zhong Shan Clan human is one of them. Thus, these treasures are all yours now!”

  Shi Buyi laughed jubilantly, he claimed a pile of demon divine weapons and tucked them into his own Yuan Shen secret realms, he stood up and said while smiling, “It’s all just pure luck, pure luck.”

  The demon gods who lost their bets gave a cold sneer and turned their heads away.

  Then, more demon gods laughed while saying, “But we’ve won our bets! Dao Liu, you’ve lost, although the human Zhong Shan Clan survived, his three other companions were all dead. Your treasures are ours now!”

  “Although our disciples are killed, but these treasures will be enough to reimburse our losses!”

  One of the demon gods said, “With these treasures, we will be able to bribe the Ox-Head of the Six Paths Reincarnations to search for our short-lived disciples.”

  Old Man Six Paths’s face changed drastically, but he didn’t say anything.

  Zhong Yue thought for a moment and immediately understood the situation, he thought, It seems like Shi Buyi and Old Man Six Paths made a bet with the demon gods. Shi Buyi bet that I can be listed in the top ten while Old Man Six Paths betted that all four of us can make it to the top ten.

  Then, he conducted his voice to Old Man Six Paths, the old man’s eyes brightened up for a second before his face turned darkly and sneered coldly; but eventually, Old Man Six Paths nodded and agreed.

  As the demon gods were stepping forth to claim Old Man Six Paths’s divine weapons, Zhong Yue suddenly heaved a breath of relief and opened and brought out his companions from the Yuan Shen secret realms.

  The demon gods halted halfway, their faces hardened for a second and turned even darker than Old Man Six Paths’s.

  Meanwhile, Old Man Six Paths suddenly smiled and said, “They are all alive, seems like I didn’t lose the bet, in fact, I’m the true winner!”

  Although the demon gods were reluctant, they had no choice but to leave the divine weapons down and step back. After all, they had sworn and signed the contract, if they didn’t comply to their agreements, they would be punished heavily.

  However, there weren’t a single clause in the contract that would stop them from killing Old Man Six Paths later on in the day!

  “Fine, fine, you are your disciples are all sly pricks. You’ve won!”

  As the demon gods made their decision to kill and plunder them after the contract ended, they all laughed and said, “The competition has ended, it’s time to report back to the Emerald Heaven Dharma King. My fellow cultivators, we will meet again another time!”

  The demon gods bolted away and left Zhong Yue, Bi, An, Zhen Yao and the others.

  Soon after, Zhen Yao, Consort Han and Li Tianxing went their own way as well. Meanwhile, Zhong Yue was troubled by the fact that the demon gods didn’t enter the twin planets when they left; which clearly told him that there wasn’t any teleportation portal on the twin planets.

  It was the first time they were here in the Prison Realm, they had absolutely no idea of where to go whatsoever.

  “Junior Martial Brother Zhong, if you
don’t mind, you are more than welcomed to walk with us.”

  Bi and An suddenly said, “It’ll take some time for the Emerald Heaven Dharma King to summon us before the commencement of the next Prison Realm competition. I’m afraid that the demon gods will be already waiting for you on your path to leave.”

  Shi Buyi tightened the treasures in his hands and said vigilantly, “They will kill us to plunder our treasures, but how do I know you two wouldn’t do the same?”

  But Zhong Yue raised a different opinion, he laughed and nodded, “The two brothers have reincarnated a hundred times, these treasures of ours are still too inferior to even matter to them. Since the brothers are inviting us on goodwill, then it’d be impolite to turn down such an offer.”

  Thus, the crowd followed Bi and An to the brothers’ home. Bi and An smiled while saying, “The two of us still have some lands of our own in the Prison Realm, it is one of the 3000 solar systems in the Left Fang Galaxy. We don’t have teachers, and we are the only masters in our place.”

  Zhong Yue smiled back, “I appreciate the goodwill, and am sorry for any inconvenience caused.”

  Then, he looked at Old Man Six Paths where the latter had no choice but to furtively hand over a Six Paths Fruit to him. Zhong Yue then heaved a breath of relief in his heart. It was an agreement between the two of them where Zhong Yue would release Jun Sixie, Qiu Jin’er, and Bai Canghai so that Old Man Six Paths would win the bet; while in turn, Old Man Six Paths would have to exchange a Six Paths Fruit for winning the bet.

  With this Six Paths Fruit, I’d be able to cultivate the Innate True Soul! Zhong Yue thought jubilantly.

  All of a sudden, Bi asked, “Junior Martial Brother Zhong and fellow cultivators, none of you are from the Prison Realm, are you?”
