  She landed a few hundred hits on Zhong Yue, sent him flying onto one of the finger bones. However, though her attacks were swift, her strength was not as strong as the bird body celestial being and Long Zhi but even so, with that many hits, Zhong Yue’s body and Yuan Shen were both gravely wounded.

  Nu Fang jumped down from the bottle and continued her combos as she laughed, “Mister Yi, you are indeed impressive, no wonder you are the Mister! Shame, you are strong but you do not know your manners! How dare you offend your elders and steal the herb. Now, you will reap what you sow! Die!”

  Zhong Yue charged at her again, suffered another barrage of combos and with blood gushing out from his mouth, he took out the Six Paths Bead and stuffed his head into it and stared right at the little pearl on the neck.

  Nu Fang was surprised and confused by this move, making her stop attacking aggressively.

  At the same time, Zhong Yue’s head appeared within the bead covered in blood and shouted, “Crown Prince, I’ve been beaten up!”

  “And? You know I won’t go out!”

  “I’m not asking for your help, throw me two of the time fragments!”

  He then pulled his head out from the bead and right away, he was welcomed by a blow from Nu Fang who saw no threat coming from Zhong Yue. Her blow sent Zhong Yue flying away and the young man slammed into the ground far beneath them.

  At the same time, the “second” who finally arrived at the skeleton arm saw Zhong Yue falling down from the top and Nu Fang leaping down toward him!

  But just before her attacks reached Zhong Yue, a dimension fragment with colorful sceneries printed on it appeared right in front of Zhong Yue. To Nu Fang’s surprise, her hands reached right into the fragment since there was barely any time for her to react.

  But she was not slow to react at all. Her leopard tail extended without a sign, wrapping around the Eight Barrens Deity King’s finger bone. She then regained her balance but half of her head was already into the fragment.

  She quickly shrunk her tail and pulled herself up.

  Right now, her hands were gone and so was the part of her head above the mouth. She, however, was still alive for the dimensional fragment merely warped her body parts into another dimension but in reality, her body parts were still attached to her.

  As such, Nu Fang was not able to see anything and Zhong Yue took advantage of this. He immediately attacked Nu Fang who was in mid-air and though rendered blinded, the female Imperial Emperor still sensed the imminent danger. She quickly controlled her tail to let go and she evaded the attack in split second.

  Zhong Yue then launched a combo kick, slamming right onto her chest and breaking her rib cage, sending her flying away.

  The lady immediately cut her arms away, allowing them to regenerate and severed her head in order to grow a new one. As she pulled all of this off without hesitation, blood gushed everywhere and she immediately charged towards the Eight Barrens Deity King’s skeleton in rage.

  At the same time, the bird body celestial being’s wings were already grown again. He flapped his wings and descended behind Zhong Yue.

  In front of Zhong Yue and beneath the Light Water Bottle, “second brother” Tai Feng was standing there.

  “Help me! Second brother, save me!”

  Then came Long Zhi’s shrieking from the bottle.

  Divine light shrouded Tai Feng and the light was directed right into the bottle. With a simple drag, the light pulled Long Zhi out and returned back to its master. However, after saving Long Zhi, Tai Feng stood there and shown no signs of moving; he showed no interest in the Light Water Bottle and ignored Zhong Yue completely as all he did was look toward somewhere far away with an empty mind.

  “Brother, let’s kill him!” Long Zhi said furiously.

  Zhong Yue’s heart thumped but that did not stop the pursuit of the Imperial Emperors; behind him, Nu Fang climbed swiftly and arrived at the bone where Zhong Yue stood, forming an encirclement with the bird body celestial being with them cutting off Zhong Yue’s path from the front and back.

  “Second brother?”

  Nu Fang screamed, “What are you doing? Let’s kill him together!”

  Tai Feng, however, remained empty-minded as he looked away, which confused the others, causing them to look towards the same direction he was looking at and they were all stunned by what came into their vision.

  Zhong Yue was also confused and when he looked towards that exact same direction, he couldn’t help but tremble.

  There was a massive altar at that direction and aside from Eight Barren Deity King’s skeleton, there were countless gigantic Dao skeletons around the altar, which were all strange looking yet majestic.

  Those were the Dark Age’s Deity Kings’ Dao skeleton; among them were the innate Deity Kings that controlled dimension, time, elements, wind, darkness and other powerful attributes.

  These Deity Kings all had their weapon forged from their own Dao armed in their hands but they were all killed in this place!

  At the center of the altar, there was an even more gigantic Dao skeleton half kneeling on the ground. One of his knees was on the ground and his arms were raised above his head as if he were shouldering something.

  He was just way too huge; Imperial Emperors were already one of the strongest existence in the world but before this Dao skeleton, they were nothing more than just ants.

  This Dao skeleton was trying to forge a new universe, open up a whole new world with his relentless power but after his attempt ended in ultimate failure, the heaven and earth’s weight descended onto his shoulders. As such, he lost his life here.

  The Heaven Suppression Palace was the place where a new ground was created but also the place where the new grond was destroyed. It was also the exact same place where the strongest ruler in the Dark Age attempted to open a new ground and passed away!

  However, what appeared before them clearly suggested that they did not die a normal way!

  Chapter 913: Sudden Changes |

  With that many innate Deity Kings killed on the massive altar, the scene was beyond creepy.

  The reason why they were considered dead was that they all had fatal wounds at the same spot on their bodies.

  Just like Eight Barrens Deity King, there was a wound on their head, seemingly pierced through by something and took their lives right away, causing these immortal ones to depart from the world!

  Previously, Zhong Yue and the others were too occupied by their intense battle but the “second”, Tai Feng who was a little slower and did not take part in the battle noticed this strange scene.

  There were just too many innate Deity Kings that were killed here and the fall of the Dark Age was definitely related to this!

  The innate Deity Kings that represented the strongest power in the Dark Age, lost majority of its rank here and even the ruler of the Dark Age lost his life here. Thus, the fall of the Dark Age and the rise of the postnate beings!

  Weird rumblings came again, shaking the Daos in their body and their totem Daos into chaos.

  Zhong Yue immediately realized that the rumblings came from the altar’s center but with that part entirely covered by the Dark Age’s ruler’s skeleton, he couldn’t see anything.

  The massive altar was extremely suppressing and he had never ever seen such condensed dead essence in his life.

  Even Hells were a little livelier than this altar; while the Hell Reincarnations gathered dead souls, it was also a place for reincarnation, which had both the essences of life and death for the dead souls to reborn into a new life.

  Here, however, the surroundings were completely inundated with the air of death, the death of the many innate Deity Kings, the Dark Age’s ruler, the heaven and earth’s Dao, heaven and earth itself and the universe.

  There was not even a single iota of life here.

  However, Tai Feng, Long Zhi, and the others were much more attracted to the innate Deity Kings’ Dao skeletons.

 
In their skeleton arms were the weapons they all forged before their deaths, weapons that acted as a symbol for their position and they were all weapons with unimaginable strength!

  Innate Deity Kings were not Heavenly Monarchs, but their strength were definitely no weaker and that included their weapons too.

  Each type of innate divine weapons represented an innate Dao and through yielding them, one would be bestowed with the power of a Deity King!

  And right now, this place was filled with ownerless innate divine weapons, just waiting for collection.

  This was what attracted them most!

  Zhong Yue, on the other hand, suddenly smiled, “Ladies and gentlemen, the many precious items here are enough for the rest of your lives so I think that there is no need to chase me to death just for the herb.”

  “But isn’t Mister Yi still alive?”

  Tai Feng retracted his vision, looked at Zhong Yue and said calmly, “The precious items here, are definitely going to be ours but the saint herb is much more important. While the innate divine weapons can bestow us with an innate Deity Kings’ strength, that strength would not be our own power. Without the weapon, we would still be the same as before, but with the saint herb, it’s not the same.”

  Zhong Yue’s heart thumped; the saint herb that Bi and An turned into was just way too alluring that these guys just wouldn’t want to let go even in the case of a vast wealth of other treasures.

  This job is really tough….

  Zhong Yue took in a deep breath and fire flickered in his eyes. Even if techniques and arts couldn’t be used here, he still didn’t fear!

  He was confident that he could put up a tough fight but that was if he was not surrounded by his enemies!

  Yet, the situation was a little difficult right now for he was surrounded. Behind him was the bird body celestial being and Nu Fang, in front him was Tai Feng and Long Zhi and they made escaping seem more like a dream to him right now.

  The innate flesh wings! Maybe I can escape from them through the wings!

  Zhong Yue looked around as he thought. The innate flesh wings were something he learned from the ancient ship’s wings but in order to visualize them, he first had to cast them.

  But given the messed up heaven and earth Dao here, not only were techniques uncastable, he might even risk having the Daos in his body to collapse if he cast any techniques.

  Fortunately for him, the innate flesh wings were half technique and half flesh, hence, the injuries caused by forcefully casting innate flesh wings would be slightly lighter.

  “Mo he xiu li sa po he….” chanted Zhong Yue slowly.

  “What did you say?” asked a confused Tai Feng.

  Zhong Yue kept Tai Feng’s question hanging, he continued chanting the obscure language as he tried to cast innate flesh wings and see if it was able to be cast.

  Just as he started chanting, Zhong Yue suddenly felt his heart grabbed onto by something before he clearly felt a pair of eyes were looking at him.

  He was very familiar to the feeling the pair of eyes gave him and goosebumps were all over him.

  Back then in Heaven Suppressing Place when Goddess Shen Hou slammed the innate Deity Kings’ projections down, Zhong Yue too, felt a gaze landed onto him from the palace and now, he was gazed upon by the same stare!

  But now, he had no choice but to continue chanting because he already felt the space Dao in his body vibrating slowly. Though it was still being affected by the weird rumblings, the innate flesh wings were still castable.

  “Whatever, you won’t be able to run no matter what you say.”

  Tai Feng walked towards the Light Water Bottle, hugged onto it as he tried to keep the Light Water Bottle away into his Yuan Shen Secret Realms as he said, “Third sister, fourth and fifth brother, catch him and we will share the herb!”

  Long Zhi shrieked, leaped around quickly and from the hands of Eight Barren Deity King, she leaped towards Zhong Yue while her tails swung around in mid-air!

  At the same time, the bird body celestial being flapped his wings, flying toward Zhong Yue quickly and attacking him with the feather blades from bottom to top!

  Nu Fang, on the other hand, ran quickly on the ground and closed in with unmatchable speed to Zhong Yue’s eyes!

  Meanwhile, inches by inches, Tai Feng slowly lifted the Light Water Bottle from Eight Barren Deity King’s hand and once completely lifted up, he could place it into his Yuan Shen secret realms and make it his own.

  Zhong Yue’s speed heightened and gradually peaked; the totem Dao in his body was very active but without having learned techniques like the [Skills of Diction], he was not able to pull the [Skills of Diction] off like Feng Wuji.

  Apart from that, with the speed he chanted, he was not going to pronounce the ‘Yu’ word in the innate godly language in time before being engulfed by the four Imperial Emperors’ joint attacks.

  But it was at this moment, a voice sounded from the silent altar.

  Far away, the skeleton of the innate Deity Kings that commanded the dimension suddenly moved; its mouth moved and from there came the rumbling Dao language, “Mo he xiu li sa po he, xu he zhu se sa po he…”

  As compared to Zhong Yue’s, this chanting speed was terrifyingly smooth and quick. The sensation it gave off was one of power!

  When the voice sounded, Long Zhi, Nu Fang, and the bird body celestial being who were all charging towards him stopped their advancement immediately and looked towards the innate Deity Kings’ skeleton in shock.

  “…Eight Barren Deity King!”

  On the other hand, Tai Feng was already halfway through removing the Light Water Bottle but before he could completely remove it, the Light Water Bottle was dragged backward by an enormous power and prevented him from removing the Light Water Bottle.

  “The hand… Eight Barren Deity King’s hand!”

  He was devoured by fear upon finding Eight Barren Deity King’s skeleton hand moved and grabbed the Light Water Bottle firmly!

  And when Tai Feng looked around in fear, he was even more shocked and scared for it wasn’t only just this hand, but the other skeleton arms of Eight Barren Deity King were also moving around!:

  “An po tuo….”

  Eight Barren Deity King’s massive skulls opened their mouth and chanted incredibly loudly. His eight heads chanted different Dao language that was entirely different from Zhong Yue’s and he was chanting in eight types of innate godly language!

  At the same time, at the other corners of the altar, the skeletons of the many Dark Age’s innate Deity Kings opened their mouth, chanted loudly in different Dao language, a power that they mastered before their death!

  From extremely vague, the chantings gradually became loud and clear but not before they merged into one and unleashed terrifying power that pressured the Imperial Emperors greatly.

  “Mister Yi, what did you do?”

  With a pale face, Long Zhi asked and she no longer called Zhong Yue a brat but Mister.

  “I don’t care what you are up to but you better stop it at once!” said Long Zhi seriously.

  Zhong Yue, however, was as clueless as they were and he did not know what was happening.

  Whatever was happening right now was very much like what happened in Heaven Suppressing Grand Stronghold but different in a way.

  What happened in the Heaven Suppressing Grand Stronghold was the resurrection of the dead, the summoning of the innate Deity Kings’ projections and they all shouted the “Fu Sheng” Dao language.

  As of now, the innate Deity Kings from the Dark Age were all chanting in a different Dao language!

  All of a sudden, Zhong Yue felt the tight grip around the Space Dao within his body loosened and the energy within him that was suppressed by the weird rumblings became all worked up again.

  But he was not the only one that felt this way. Tai Feng, Long Zhi, and the others also felt the changes in their energy and Daos and they all noticed that their suppressed power had returned back to them.

>   This also meant that the dead essence that shadowed every technique, arts and Daos was being dispersed by the Dao languages chanted by the innate Deity Kings’ skeleton!

  They are forcing the dead essence away!

  Zhong Yue came to realization; back when he started chanting the Dao language, the word he chanted loosened the grip around the Space Dao. This place’s heaven and earth Dao was sealed away by the weird rumblings and it was the ‘Yu’ word Zhong Yue chanted that loosened the seal!

  With that, the innate Deity Kings that ruled space seized onto this chance and continued what Zhong Yue chanted, opened up a bigger hole in the seal and triggered a chain effect where the other skeletons chanted their Dao languages to enlarge the hole!

  Now that I am freed from the danger the four Imperial Emperors posed, I’ve gotten myself into an even more dire situation….

  Zhong Yue did not feel good. While Tai Feng and the others were stunned and too occupied by what was happening, the scene happening right now made Zhong Yue extremely uneasy.

  Suddenly, an innate Deity Kings’ skeleton changed his Dao language and started chanting that eerie and terrifying Dao language.

  With him changing the Dao language, the trigger was pulled;’ the many innate Deity Kingss’ skeletons changed and started chanting the exact same Dao language!

  “Mo he ba he si be he, si duo ming duo si mo duo!”

  The innate Deity Kings Dao skeletons chanted zealously again and again and under their chantings, the massive Dao skeleton lying on the altar’s center slowly stood up!

  And that was when Zhong Yue noticed this Dark Age’s ruler was staring at him. There were no eyes in his eye sockets but the ruler still gave him extremely familiar feelings.

  It was the pair of eyes that once stared at him!

  Chapter 914: The End |

  The massive Dao skeleton giant finally stood up. Flesh slowly grew on his bones, veins glued onto the bones and started creating blood before transmitting it into even larger veins.

  Finally, the blood coursing through these veins entered the most important arteries, which were all larger than streams and rivers and just like the Heavenly River, the Dao blood flowing in these arteries unleashed a terrifying rumbling noise!
