“Come here. Sit next to me. Let me show you a few things.” The Facebook posts from the two women only reiterated what Dennis had posted, but what he’d posted told Mason all he needed to know. Dennis Avery knew she was living in Racy, and he knew she was working for Notus. And Mason knew how he’d found that out.

He brought up Notus’s public website and clicked on the “Careers” page. “One of the disadvantages of a large, national company like Notus is that one department has no clue what the other is doing. And then there’s the whole corporate layer that doesn’t tell any of the zones what it’s doing.”

He found her bio and pushed the laptop toward her. “They feature new hires around the country each week. A simple Google search would have brought this up. You likely had no clue it was on there, did you?”

  “Motherfucking son of a bitch…I sure didn’t.”

Mason bit back a laugh at her choice of words. She was too adorable, even when she swore like a drunken sailor. “At least now we know he didn’t hack into anything. Anyone could have found this. And as for your e-mail…” He clicked a few more things then pointed toward the screen. “It’s visible on your Google profile.”

She shook her head. “I feel very stupid. I hadn’t even thought about my Google profile.”

“Most people wouldn’t. But after tonight, we’ll have it all locked tightly for you.”

She glanced at him with a guilty look on her face “I think I might have seen his car tonight. That’s why I freaked out after we left Tye Me Up.”

“I know. Lee and I already figured that out. That’s why we came back.”

She opened her mouth but nothing came out. The wonder in her eyes nearly took his breath away. Had anyone in her life treated this girl right? He doubted it. That was going to change. Starting right now.

He pointed toward the screen. “Thank you for showing all this to us.” He took out his cell. “What can you tell me about Avery’s car, and about him? Physical descriptions, anything.”

As Harper talked, he relayed the information to Sean, after giving Sean the short version of what had been going on. Sean asked him to e-mail the document Harper had made, and to forward the e-mails from Dennis.

“Thanks,” said Sean. “I’ll get right on tracking down his car and any other info I can find on him. As for the e-mails and Facebook posts, the law is too sketchy on that. Other than watch for more, there’s nothing I can do, but tell her to keep forwarding them to me if she gets any more. I’ll keep them in case something else comes up and we need them.”

“Thanks for any help you can give her.”

“He won’t bother her in this town physically. I can promise you that much at least.”

  Mason smiled. “Thanks, Sean.”

After he disconnected the call, she stared at him and Lee as if they’d hung the moon. “I should have told you right away. I’m sorry.”

“Don’t be. You didn’t know us that well. You still don’t. But you’re safe in this town. We’ve had serial arsonists, murderers, ex-Doms and a crazy soldier kidnap someone. We can handle an accountant who got caught acting like a sleazy porn star at work.”

She put a hand to her mouth and laughed, but the sound still held a trace of nervousness. Mason stood. “Now I’d suggest you pack enough to stay overnight. Tomorrow after work we’re moving you into our house, and then we’ll go to the club.” He glanced around. “Is all this furniture yours?”

“No. It came furnished. Everything I brought with me from Michigan fit into my car. But I can’t move in with you.”

  “Why not?” asked Lee.

  “Because…”

  “Not a good enough answer.”

“Oh my God. You guys are serious.”

“Of course we’re serious,” said Mason. “It’s a big house. You can have your own wing if you want. And I’d like to see Dennis Avery get past my security gate. If he’s stupid enough to try, he’ll be arrested.”

“That’s a slap on the wrist. It might not be enough to keep him away.”

“Don’t worry. Now that Sean knows, the police in this town will make sure Dennis has no reason to stick around, and that will be that.”

“They can’t arrest someone for driving through town.”

Mason chuckled, and then he and Lee exchanged a glance. “No, but they can harass the hell out of him for so many ridiculous violations that he won’t stay. And Sean has contacts in the FBI. If he keeps threatening you via e-mail, the Racy police will be the least of his worries.”

  “It can’t be that easy.”

“Sure it can. Come on. Pack a bag. We’ll let you sleep tonight. We both want to save our energy for tomorrow.”

  * * * *

True to their word, all they did was move her stuff into a bedroom at their house. It was after ten by the time she was in bed, in a scrumptious room that looked like something out of a magazine. Dennis would never find her here. Was it really this simple? Would they really run him out of town? Was that the end of the e-mails and Facebook posts? It didn’t seem possible. Nothing in her life was ever that neat and trim.

But as she drifted off to sleep and let her imagination run wild with possibilities for the following night, she found it easier to believe that they really had saved the day, and this was over for her.

The next morning at work, she looked around on the public site and was surprised by how much information was actually available. She’d known about the pieces her own department had contributed to, of course, but not the rest of it. She hadn’t been here long enough yet. It was also comforting to know that while Dennis had easily discovered she lived in Racy and worked for Notus, he had no way to find out her exact address. And now, he never would. Lee and Mason would see to that.

She had asked Maggie for the afternoon off, and Maggie waved a hand as if it were a given, barely glancing up from her desk. “My entire department leaves early on Fridays. Go. Have a nice weekend.”

Lee and Mason had the time off as well, and they drove her back to her apartment to get the rest of her things. Harper went down into the flower shop to give Minnie back her key. She’d already called her this morning to say she was moving out. Minnie thought she’d found a house, and Harper let her believe that.

They dropped off her things in the same room where she’d slept the night before, and then Mason and Lee gave her a tour of the rest of the house. She could hardly take it all in. She’d never seen anything so beautiful. It was too much to imagine living here. She learned that Lee had a suite of rooms across the hall from Mason’s, and his view overlooked the front of the house and the sweeping drive. The room they’d given her was in between their suites, and it overlooked the west side of the grounds.

“I feel like a freeloader in here.”

“Why?” asked Lee. “I’m not family or anything and I live here.”

“But you two have known each other all your lives. You’ve known me less than a week.”

Lee put his arms around her and pulled her close. “How much time does it take to get to know someone?”

“I don’t know. I guess that depends on the person.” She’d worked with Dennis for over a year and had never really known him at all.

“My point exactly,” he said softly. “I knew all I needed to know about you the first day we met. I wouldn’t have made love to you otherwise.”

Mason nuzzled her neck. “Neither would I. So…here’s how the rest of this day will go. We’re going to eat dinner in a while, and then you’re going to change into something suitable for Maddox’s club. We’ll pick out your outfit from the things we bought last night.”

Lee released her and motioned for her to sit on the sofa. He sat next to her, and Mason pulled over a chair so that he faced her as well. “As soon as we walk into Maddox’s house, you are to address us each as ‘Sir.’ You will only speak to us unless we give you permission to speak to someone else. You will have three safewords. ‘Green’ for go, or to mean that everything is all right, ‘yell
ow’ if anything needs adjusted including limbs, or if you need a bathroom break or water. ‘Red’ will be used to stop the scene, no questions asked. Do you understand?”

  She nodded.

“I need to hear you verbally consent.”

  “Yes. Yes, Sir.”

Mason smiled. “That’s better. We will tell you what we’re doing, and with what, and you may safeword out of anything. When we’re done playing, we’ll come back here. Maddox has private rooms upstairs for special guests, but I prefer to make love in the comfort of my own home. Is all this agreeable to you?”

She could hardly take a breath. “Yes, Sir. Thank you.”

Lee smiled and took her hands. “No. Thank you.”

This was everything she’d ever wanted. And it was all happening at the same time, but it had been building up to this all week. The stolen kisses on the sixth floor, the longing looks, the lunches, and the dinners. And then last night…her two princes had come to her rescue. Not on a horse, but in a Lexus. It was too much to take in at once, and yet Harper welcomed it.

She wanted to experience everything these two had to offer, and she didn’t care if she couldn’t walk tomorrow, or if she was too sore to do anything except lie around. As long as she was with them, she didn’t care. This was where she wanted to be, for the rest of her life.

  Chapter Eleven

After dinner, they sat and talked for about a half hour, and then the guys told her to take a shower. They were going to do the same, and she wished they could take one together, but also knew that they were prolonging this on purpose. It was intoxicating, being this close to them, in this gorgeous home, and not being able to touch them yet.

She took her time in the shower because she wanted to be perfect for them tonight. When she emerged, she found that they’d laid out the deep blue corset with black inserts, the matching crotchless panties, mini shorts, and the tall black boots that Alexa had found for her. Harper had been concerned that there was nothing in Tye Me Up that would fit over her calves, but she’d been wrong. These boots made her legs look sleek and long, and they made her feel like a goddess when she put them on.

She dressed, and stood in front of the full length mirror in the room, shaking her head. This couldn’t be her. She’d never worn anything like this, and she’d certainly never looked this fucking sexy. Tears stung her eyes as she thought above everything Lee and Mason had done for her this week. How could they be real?

She was tempted to check her e-mail and Facebook while she waited for them, but decided not to. Fuck him. He was not going to get into her head tonight and ruin this. Nothing was going to ruin this. She wouldn’t allow it. Tonight was for Mason and Lee only. No one else was permitted to enter her consciousness.

A soft knock on the door had her scurrying toward it, and when she opened it she nearly passed out from desire. Both men were dressed in leather vests and pants. Their glasses were off, and although she still thought they both looked sexy as hell in them, seeing them now without them sent her heart fluttering. They wore leather boots, and each carried a black bag she assumed was filled with toys.

  “Ready?” asked Lee.

  “Yes, Sir,” she whispered.

“Do you remember the instructions Mason gave you? As soon as we enter Maddox’s house, your protocol is in place.”

  She nodded. “I remember, Sir.”

“Good girl.” His voice washed over her, deep and sexy, and Harper wondered whether she’d be able to walk. Her knees felt like jelly and her hands trembled as she followed them down the stairs and into the garage. Once inside Mason’s car, she closed her eyes and took slow, deep breaths. This was going to be amazing. She had nothing to fear.

There were already cars parked behind Maddox’s house, and it occurred to Harper that she’d be half-naked in front of people she didn’t know, or had only just met. But so would everyone else here. She could do this. She wanted to do this, not only because playing inside a real BDSM club had been one of her fantasies for so long, but because she wanted to please Mason and Lee. She wanted to do this for them.

As soon as they walked inside the home, Harper felt the change in the air. She also realized that nearly everyone was dressed in club wear, and that helped put her at ease a bit. She looked the same as everyone else. Inside this house, she was on equal footing.

Mason and Lee each held out an arm, and she curled her hands around them, one on either side. They couldn’t have known this, but it hadn’t been necessary for them to instruct her not to speak to anyone. She was overcome with shyness as they made their way toward the open double doors at the end of the hallway, and even if someone had spoken to her, she wouldn’t have been able to answer.

Maddox’s house was just as opulent and pretentious as Mason’s, but Harper didn’t glance around for more than a few seconds. Her attention was focused on the entrance to the club. As they crossed the threshold, Mason whispered that there were three stairs in front of her. She was glad he had done so, because the light in here was low, and she had to step gingerly in her new boots. As clumsy as she was, she certainly didn’t want to fall flat on her face tonight.

Once they were on the main floor, Lee leaned close to her right ear and told her they were going to walk the perimeter for a few moments so she could see the setup. She nodded, hoping it was okay not to speak right now. Her voice seemed to have disappeared.

There was an energy in the room that reminded her of the few times she’d taken a tour inside a wind turbine. Only the vibrations inside this club weren’t exactly the same as the ones inside a three-hundred-foot-tall monolith. Those had been from the spinning blades. This was from the people, and the energy evoked images of passion, pain, and pleasure, all mixed up as one.

A few couples and triads were already playing, and she couldn’t help watching. The women being flogged and paddled were naked, bent over benches or tied to large Xs. She hadn’t considered that her nude body would be on display. She’d assumed they’d keep her corset on, at least. Should she say something?

“Tell me what you’re thinking,” said Mason.

Harper swallowed against the lump in her throat. Was he a mind reader, or was she simply that transparent, even when she didn’t speak? “Well, Sir, I didn’t know I’d be naked.”

She felt a glance pass between them over her head, but by the time she glanced up at Lee, Mason was speaking again. “You don’t have to be.”

  “Thank you, Sir.”

Lee pointed toward a corner. “Since we’re here so early, we can grab the bench over there. It’s my favorite one.”

“Do you two do this often? Sir?”

Lee smiled at her. “No. We serve as DMs most of the time. DM stands for Dungeon Monitor or Dungeon Master.”

She nodded, only because she didn’t know what to say right now. She wanted to be part of this, but felt so self-conscious. Would everyone wonder who she was? What if she saw someone she’d already met? What if she couldn’t relax enough and simply enjoy this?

They stopped in front of a bench with leather pads and rings on the legs and at the sides. Harper stared at it, trying to imagine being bent over it, half-naked, while the guys flogged or paddled her. The thought of that sent shivers up and down her spine, but at the same time, she realized everyone in the club would see her big, fat, naked ass.

Mason moved close and cupped her face gently. “You look terrified,” he said softly. “Tell me what’s going through your head.”

She hesitated a second or two. If she didn’t speak up and tell them her concerns, this evening could turn out to be a disaster. But if she did, would they be upset that she’d mentioned her weight again?

Lee moved next to Mason. “Harper, being a Dom is way more than tying someone to a bench and spanking them. It’s more than giving you directions and protocol to follow. We want you to enjoy this. We need to know what you’re feeling right now, no matter what it is.”

That did it. The clarity in his eyes and his voice finally loos
ened her tongue. “My naked ass will be visible to everyone in Racy.”

The corners of his mouth turned up. “Not quite everyone. Only the ones here tonight. And I assure you that no one is going to think there is anything bizarre or unpleasant about that. Look around. Do you see any swimsuit models in here?”

She couldn’t help but smile. “No, Sir.”

“All right then. We happen to love your ass and think it’s beyond sexy and beautiful. So if anything, the other Doms will be jealous because we’ll be the ones smacking it, not them.”

Harper laughed softly. Were these two real? “Okay. Sir. Now I’m ready.”

Mason let go of her face and gave her a grin that made her pussy wet. “About time.” He reached into his bag and pulled out a long, black piece of silk. “This will help. You’ll be able to hear us at all times, and we’ll tell you what we’re doing. We’ll even tell you who is doing what. But above all, we want you to be able to relax and just enjoy the sensations without distractions.”

“Thank you, Sir. Thank you, both of you. This means so much to me.”

Mason patted the leather pad. “It means the world to us, too. Drape your lower abdomen over this until it’s comfortable, and then we’ll adjust the other pads.”

She did as he asked, and then they placed the pads under her head and both arms, adjusting them until she said she was comfortable. Everything was supported, but her ass was up in the air and if her corset was open, her breasts would hang free. She was no longer quite as self-conscious, but it probably helped that they were in a corner. While she could hear others in the club, their voices were distant now. She concentrated only on Mason and Lee.

When they slipped the blindfold on, the illusion that she could only hear and sense them increased. She became aware of the scents of their individual colognes, and the differences in the sounds of their boots as they moved around the bench.

“We’re going to bind your wrists and ankles to the bench using bondage cuffs,” said Lee. “They’re soft leather and they won’t hurt. But if they become uncomfortable at any time, that’s a reason to call ‘yellow.’ Do you understand?”
