“I’ll try calling Andre to see what’s up. You try Hannah’s number again.”
Lucy nodded and reached into her purse for her cell to call her best friend. Suddenly a pang of fear struck her. What if something had happened to Hannah on the way to the chapel?
Chapter 5
Andre’s BlackBerry buzzed in his pocket but he chose to ignore it. Whatever it was could wait. This was more important. Hannah looked as if she was having a heart attack.
“Hans, stop the car.” He commanded to the chauffeur before turning his attention back to Hannah.
“What is it, Hannah? Are you alright? Who answered the phone?”
Hannah could not speak for a moment.
Andre picked up the phone from the floor of the hummer and listened for a moment. He heard the sound of a man and woman arguing in a foreign language. It sounded Russian. “Hello,” he said in a firm voice.
“Yes,” the woman spoke.
“We’re looking for Gustav.”
“I am his wife. What do you want with my husband?” the woman’s voice sounded curt. He recognized the accent as Russian because he’d dealt with business associates who spoke Russian.
“How is that possible? He is supposed to be married soon.”
The woman laughed a humorless laugh. “I don’t think so, mister.” The woman then spewed some more words in her native tongue and he heard Gustav’s voice in the background.
Damn!
Andre had known something was off with Gustav and he’d had his men do a background check on him which turned up some shady business and womanizing activities but for some reason, his marriage which probably took place in Russia had not been documented in the surveillance reports. But his team hadn’t finished digging up all the dirt on Gustav.
To see Hannah torn was a blow to his gut.
Andre switched off the cell phone wishing he could slam it down. That fucking loser! No wonder Hannah had doubts about him. Just to think she was about to make the biggest mistake of her life. The man was not only using her to get a permanent resident status but the jerk was already married back in his native land.
He reached for his cell and dialed his brother’s cell at lightning speed. Anger roared through his veins.
“Hey, bro. What’s going on?” Dane answered.
“Is Gustav at the church yet?”
“He’s missing in action. Can’t even reach him.”
“I thought so.” Andre’s voice was void of emotion, his tone chilled. A muscle twitched in his jaw. “There’s going to be a change of plan. Have the pianist play some tunes before we get there,” Andre continued, his tone clipped.
“Hey, what’s going on Andre?”
“I’m going to take Gustav’s place.”
There was silence on the other end of the phone.
Chapter 6
Hannah couldn’t believe what her ears had just heard.
Andre was going to take Gustav’s place?
“Wh-what?” Hannah lifted up her head to Andre’s. Was he just saying that?
Andre’s lips thinned. “I already told you, Hannah. I’m not a marrying man.’
“I know that, Andre. But…but you just said.”
“I know what I just said. I’m going to go through with it. You deserve to have your day, Hannah. You don’t deserve to be stood up on your wedding day.”
So this was out of pity and not love.
“Please Andre. Please don’t feel obligated to marry me because you feel sorry for me. I’ll be fine,” she murmured, disappointment clouded her voice.
“Hans, we’re going to the Clark County Building,” Andre said into the limo phone.
“Yes, sir.” The voice came through on the speaker before Andre switched it off.
“Do you have your ID with you?” Andre turned to Hannah.
“Yes. I do, but…”
“Isn’t this what you’ve always wanted?”
“Not this way, Andre.”
“Hannah. The truth is, I can’t get you out of my system. Back there what happened at the hotel was meant to happen. I know now that I can’t live without you.”
Hannah flushed. She held on tight to her bouquet and played with the flower petals. She could not bring herself to look into Andre’s eyes right now because tears were about to spill out of her eyes.
“What is it?” Andre asked.
“Nothing…I…Why are you doing this?” Part of her was disturbed that he pitied her but another part thought it was heroic of him to want to save her face in front of a hundred guests at the chapel. The truth was, Gustav had not shown up. She was jilted. Even if she was about to call it off. She needed Andre now more than ever. Just looking into his dark, sparkling eyes made her weak in the knees. He’d always had that effect on her. There was just a spark between them. Something indescribable. She hungered for his smooth, taut skin on her again. The feeling of his heated firm body on her.
Andre leaned in closer to Hannah and stroked her cheek with his soft long finger causing a reaction in her body. Her inner thighs tingled again throbbing with want. She wanted to feel his long hardness inside of her again. Butterflies exploded in her belly. God, she wanted more of Andre. How could she resist his sweet charm, his passionate touch she’d enjoyed earlier at the hotel? His silky erotic touch.
Hannah leaned into Andre and his lips brushed hers sending shivers down her spine. He sucked on her lower lip and kissed her with a hungry passion before sliding his tongue inside her mouth. Hannah dropped her bouquet on the floor of the spacious limo and held onto him with both hands.
“Oh, Andre. I want you so bad,” she moaned, breathless.
“Fuck! I need you now, Hannah.”
Andre pulled away from her and pulled out a condom package from his pocket. He pushed a button to close the privacy partition and dimmed the lights. Hannah had never seen such a beautiful ambiance in a car before. The limo seemed to stretch on forever. Andre then reached and pressed another button and the long line of plush seats opposite the bar that could easily seat sixteen people pulsed and a motor sounded. It soon converted into a…bed!
“What? These seats turn into a bed.”
Andre leaned in closer to Hannah again sliding his hand down her back. A grin of amusement played on his lips. “Of course. You’ve never seen a bed on wheels before?” he said as he lowered his lips to hers again. He moved his lips to her exposed neckline and nibbled on her neck and sucked hard causing her to jolt with pleasure.
“Mmm.”
“God, I want you so badly, Hannah. It hurts,” he murmured into her lips.
“Can people see from outside,” she said as the glanced out at the darkened windows.
“It’s private. No one will see us, baby.”
The lights were dimmed and romantic and he reached over and hit another button. Light instrumental music played through the speakers. God, it was so romantic. Who would have ever thought this could be possible? The hummer limo was certainly more high tech than she’d imagined it to be.
His hands moved to the top of her zip and unzipped her as he held her gaze. The glow of the dim light on his features made him look, oh, so sexy. Even more gorgeous. For a moment, Hannah had forgotten where she was. The wheels of the hummer and the ride was so smooth it was unbelievable.
Sex in motion.
His eyes sparkled as he gazed down at her rounded exposed breasts after sliding her dress off. He lowered his head and gently brushed his tongue on her hardened pink nipple before sucking and licking it. Hannah moaned in her throat. She slid of his jacket and began to unbutton his crisp white shirt exposing his taut nipples on his pectoral muscles. She thought she would die if she couldn’t have him forever.
“Your skin is so beautiful,” he murmured as his other hand brushed and played with her other nipple, still sucking on one as Hannah arched her back.
Andre then moved to unbutton his tux pants before sliding off his boxers revealing his long, hard cock. Hannah’s pussy pulsed as wetness satur
ated her panties. She hungered to taste him again. To take him into her mouth. Her heart was pounding hard and fast. How could she ever have thought of being with another man?
Andre was the one for her. She needed him, desired him in every possible way.
Andre slid his hand under her panties and played with her pussy as she spread her legs open for him to gain better access. Her underwear was soaked through. His finger stroked her pulsing folds before sliding inside her hot wetness. With his other hand he slid her panties down and she moved her legs to pull them off her.
He seemed to enjoy her nakedness as much as she enjoyed his firm body.
Hannah’s blood pumped hard and fast with a vengeance.
“Oh, you’re so wet. Let me taste your juices, baby,” he moaned as he continued to kiss her passionately. He lowered his head down to her thighs and sucked and teased her swollen folds, sucking up her slippery creamy fluids.
“Mmm,” Hannah’s body vibrated in response. She was in ecstasy. His hot wet tongue swirled around her vagina before flicking it like a butterfly. Hannah cried out, hoping that the chauffeur could not hear what was going on in the darkness of the back of the limousine on the other side of the partition.
Andre thrust his sweet tongue inside her wetness back and forth while stroking her clit until she came with a shudder.
He moved his head up to hers with a grin of satisfaction before brushing his lips against hers. She tasted her own juices on his lips. Breathing heavy she lowered her head to his hard erection and stroked his shaft, enjoying the sound of his low moans. She pressed her tongue on the head of his penis and softly licked and sucked on it, swirling her tongue hungrily enjoying his glistening wetness. She stroked his balls as she took his manhood into her mouth sucking back and forth. She felt a rush as she pleasured him in the back of the limousine on the spacious bed as the motion of the vehicle moved through the streets of Vegas. This was all so surreal.
She sucked hard and took him deeper in her throat until he came hard, his hand on her head moving her back and forth as his body tensed with pleasure. She enjoyed the flavor of his cock, it was sweet. She was surprised that he grew hard again as they continued like animals in the limo pleasuring each other, exploring every inch of their bodies.
“Turn around, baby,” Andre groaned as he flipped her on her stomach.
“You ever had a man lick your ass?”
“No. Never,” she said, breathless.
She raised her butt to him and spread her arms out as he had instructed. Andre then lowered his head to her anus and began licking with gentle strokes as he fingered and touched her wet vagina. Hannah was surprised at how erotic, how gratifying it felt. She shivered and moaned and cried out for more. She came soon after and she felt Andre’s hot tongue kissing her butt cheeks before kissing her lower back. He moved up on her and tore open the condom packet. He rolled it over his erection and lowered himself to her, entering her vagina from behind. Hannah groaned and moved in motion as Andre made love to her again and again. They both came multiple times unaware at first that the limo had stopped at the Clark County Building.
Breathless, he kissed her lips again and collapsed on her bosom after they’d made love again. She held on tight to him, wanting to never let him go.
“God, Hannah, I love you so much.”
“I love you, too, baby.”
The phone in the limo buzzed and Andre reached over to answer it. “We’ve arrived, sir,” Hans informed him.
Hannah knew they’d have to clean up before they entered the building. She was caught off guard when the bar had a tap and some towels and a set of toothbrushes.
“Thank you, Hans,” Andre answered. “We’re not quite ready yet.”
Not ready? Had he meant that he’d changed his mind about marrying her or that he’d take a while to change?
Andre turned to her and held her hand up to his lips and kissed it. “Hannah Marie Steeles, will you marry me?”
Hannah’s throat closed up, overwhelmed with emotion. This was what she’d always dreamed of. Only this wasn’t a dream. This was real, wasn’t it? Andre truly wanted to make her his lawfully wedded wife.
Chapter 7
Hannah Steeles became breathless as her eyes focused on Andre Corskovi’s sinfully sexy lips. Had he just proposed to her? Had she heard correctly?
She was sure her senses were deluding her. After all, she’d just had the most traumatic, or humiliating, day of her life. There she was in her wedding gown in a limo with the man who should have given her away but instead had decided he wanted her for himself. And who could blame him? She was about to engage in a convenient marriage with a jerk that forgot to mention that he was already married.
Her pulse raced and her mind reeled with confusion.
She squeezed her eyes shut when the lump in her throat became unbearable.
“You okay, Hannah?”
She nodded but she felt as if she were having a panic attack.
“Andre…I…” She wanted him badly but could she jump from one man to another so soon?
“I…this is all so sudden. I mean to go through this again…”
Andre leaned over and pressed his soft lips to hers. “Shh.”
Oh, he was so irresistible. Even the way he quietly shushed her.
She pulled back as hard as that was for her to do.
“No, Andre. I really am grateful for you wanting to save my face with the guests in the chapel and all but…I don’t want to be a pity bride.”
What was she saying? The words were spewing out from her lips yet she did not believe them. She wanted to retract them. Andre was the most adorable sex god she’d ever laid eyes on. He took her breath away every moment of the day. He starred in her deepest fantasies. Oh, God! She wanted him badly. The mind blowing sex they’d experienced was, oh, so delicious. Addictive.
But no way in hell did she want to come off as cheap or desperate. Bouncing from one groom to another groom in the same day. She just couldn’t do that to herself. And her mother. What would her mother think? Her ailing mother had been through enough heartache in her life struggling to raise Hannah on her own on a pauper’s salary.
Hannah also didn’t want to dishonor the memory of her late step-uncle who made all of this possible. She wouldn’t want to come off as a wedding-whore. Whatever that was.
“What’s the matter, baby?” Andre whispered in her ear. His voice hoarse. She could tell he was turned on. “I thought this is what you wanted.”
“Andre…I…I care so much about you.” I love you to death. “But I think we’re both caught up in the moment. I don’t want to have one of those celebrity whirlwind weddings.”
Lord knows that people could get carried away by the whole Vegas scene. Gambling and fast weddings. She remembered Britney Spears infamous 2004 nuptials. Spears had done a similar elopement with a friend of hers and the marriage lasted only fifty-five hours!
Of course, she was no Britney Spears and she didn’t have a PR team or money or fame to back her up. But that was the whole power, or magic, of the Vegas spirit. It caused people to gamble like there was no tomorrow. But gambling with her emotions and her heart was not something she wanted to do right now. She’d just been burned. Talk about rebound love. She needed more time to process things.
Andre was hot. He was sexy as hell. But he was also a ladies man, a playa who vowed to never get married. What if he regretted it after they said “I do”? Where would that leave her? No, she had to be sure. She wanted to have kids in wedlock more than ever. But not this way. The last time she tried to marry for the wrong reason—like this morning, it blew up in her face. Big time!
Andre’s luscious lips pressed into a thin hard line.
Oh, no. Had she just offended the very man who just tried to save her face in a chapel filled with family and friends after her former groom-to-be turned out to be a no-show who was already married?
“Andre?” she murmured, reaching over to touch his shoulders. His body sti
ffened at her touch. His brittle reaction caused her stomach to sink to her knees.
She drew in a deep breath.
“We should just get going to the chapel,” she murmured, trying to steady the shaking in her voice. Her heart pounded in her throat. The heavy beats getting harder each moment. There she was, seated in one of the most luxurious hummer limousines, a palace on wheels, yet she could not even appreciate her surroundings.
“And what are you going to do when you get to the chapel?” Andre asked, his head turned away from her as he gazed out the window. Why wasn’t he looking at her? She noticed his jaw was clenched and she could see a muscle twitch in his well-defined jawline. His chiseled cheek bones were so beautiful from her view when she glanced his way.
“I have to face them,” she whispered. “There’s no use keeping them waiting.”
