Derek captured my chin and forced me to look at him. “If at any time you want me to stop, just say so. I’m not into forcing women who don’t want to be with me, understand.”
“I understand.”
“I want to make you feel good, nothing else.”
“I know.” One of the nicest things he’d said to me in a long time, he was reassuring me that it was going to be fine between us. If he were an asshole, would he do that?
I was starting to realize that there was so much more to Derek than I’d thought.
