That, if nothing else, was real. She allowed her gaze to graze his groin and she could see the bulge.

She smiled, secretly delighted that she had this affect on him. In truth, it was more intoxicating than the champagne.

“Maybe I could help you out…I mean, just so you can at least, get through dinner before…”

Reece grinned and settled against the plush cushions. “And how do you suggest helping me?”

Emboldened, she directed, “Unbutton your pants.”

Reece lost his cocksure grin and quickly jerked open his trousers, releasing a monster erection that immediately made her mouth water.

She’d never been insatiable when it came to sex but there was something about Reece that made her want him naked all the time.

  Was that a problem?

Probably but she’d worry about that later.

Tana leaned across his lap and took Reece’s cock into her mouth, gripping the thick shaft and teasing the fleshy head, drilling the hole at the top with the tip of her tongue.

Reece’s guttural moan was like jet fuel to her arousal, rocketing her own need through the roof. She couldn’t wait until his tongue was inside her, teasing, demanding, pushing her to that ultimate release.

Reece’s fingers threaded through her hair and gripped her scalp as he moaned with each suck and lave of her mouth and tongue.

She’d never considered herself particularly gifted in the oral department but Reece’s appreciation of her efforts gave her a wanton confidence that was as addictive as crack.

His cock surged in her mouth just as he stiffened and warm, salty cream jetted down her throat in spurts as Reece unloaded with a choked shout.

Tana sucked him dry then he shocked her by pulling her to him to seal his lips to hers.

She could feel the thunder of his heart beneath her fingertips as his tongue swept her mouth and she moaned as her insides melted.

There was something incredibly hot about the fact that he was kissing her right after he’d come into her mouth. It should’ve grossed her out but, in fact, she was squirming with heat.

As if reading her mind, Reece’s hand went up her skirt to find her slippery core and she gasped as his finger breached her folds.

With his free hand, he pushed on her shoulders, causing her to sink down onto his finger and she groaned as his thumb brushed the swollen nub that ached with need.

Reece petted her deep inside, strumming some hidden place that caused stars to ignite behind her eyes and she forgot that she was in the back of a limousine, forgot that they weren’t alone, and forgot that she was supposed to remain in control.

She shuddered as a different kind of orgasm rocked her body, causing great shimmers of pleasure to radiate through her limbs, clenching her womb and sending waves of wonder crashing through her.

Reece withdrew his finger and licked it clean with a deeply satisfied grin as she collapsed against the cushions, breathing hard and wondering what else Reece was going to do to her before the night was through.

  The scary part?

  She couldn’t fucking wait.

  ***

Reece helped Tana from the car and held her hand as they walked the marina, the cool night air, brisk but not uncomfortable. He couldn’t wait to see Tana’s expression when she saw his buddy’s boat.

By yacht standards, the Morgana, was fairly small, but Reece had always thought that there was a luxurious coziness to it that appealed to him. In fact, Reece had offered several times to buy the damn thing but Damian always shut him down.

As they approached the boat, Tana sucked in a wild breath and he knew she was suitably impressed.

“Oh my goodness,” she breathed as they came to the boat, the lights twinkling and music playing, just as he’d arranged. “This is NOT a boat. This is a…mansion on water!”

Reece laughed and they stepped aboard as he guided her at the small of her back to the upper deck where a romantic table for two dinner awaited. Candles flickered in the breeze and soft music filtered in from hidden speakers.

“Oh wow, this is amazing,” Tana gushed with unabashed wonder as she took in the fine bone-white China plating with the gold edging sitting atop gold-plated chargers, linen napkins and crystal champagne flutes awaiting some bubbly.

Reece made a mental note to thank Damian properly for making a good showing.

Tana was openly in awe of everything she saw. She slid into the chair and allowed Reece to push her in. “How do you know the owner of this boat?”

“We went to prep school together. His name is Damian Calloway.”

“Are all your friends ridiculously rich and privileged?”

He sighed and admitted as he sat opposite her, “Yes, but it’s just a consequence of the circles you end up in when you’re growing up. I don’t base my decision on whether or not I’m hanging out with someone on their tax bracket, if that’s what you think.”

“Maybe not purposefully,” she supposed. “But if rich people make up your entire social circle doesn’t that make your circle pretty narrow? I mean, where’s the diversity?”

He chuckled, amused that Tana could turn a romantic dinner into a social argument. He poured some champagne and said, “I propose we shelve all talk of three topics…”

  “Which would be?”

  “Religion, politics, social injustice.”

“Well, that’s no fun. What will we talk about?” Tana replied, lifting her filled glass to her lips. “There’s only so many times you can chat about the weather without it becoming forced.”

“Exactly. So instead, you will tell me about yourself. I want to know what makes Tana tick.”

Tana took a measured sip and Reece knew it was a stall tactic so she could put walls up. “My story is pretty boring. Nothing so glamorous as growing up a Buchanan, I’m sure. I didn’t go to a fancy boarding school and I’ve never jetted off to Europe to munch on French beignets.” She shrugged. “Yep. Pretty boring.”

  “I don’t believe that for a second.”

Given too much time to think, Tana wouldn’t give up a thing about herself. He’d probably have to loosen her up with liquor and bone-melting orgasms before she’d share anything of value.

Luckily for him, both were on the agenda for tonight.

“What about you? Tell me something about yourself that I wouldn’t expect,” Tana countered with a subtle smile. “Something that might shock me.”

“Oh, I could shock you quite easily,” he answered with silky assurance.

He took extreme pleasure in the color that jumped to her cheeks.

  She blushed so easily.

Reece found it adorably prudish, which was ironic considering she was quite a wild thing when she was being pleasured.

Speaking of… “My cousins own a club in California called Malvagio…I should take you sometime.”

“Oh? And what’s so special about this club? Is it like a yacht club or something? Will I have to wear a jacket? Once I went into a country club on an errand for someone else and I was forced to wear a jacket because I had bare shoulders. It was in the middle of summer!”

Reece laughed. “I promise you no one will force you to wear a jacket. In fact, at Malvagio the dress code is ‘clothing optional’.”

Her eyes widened with shock. “Clothing optional? What does that mean? What kind of club is this? Are you part of a nudist colony?”

It was too much fun stringing her along but all this talk about being naked was revving his engine before he was ready to put things in gear.

“It’s a secret sex club. Invitation only and you have to be sponsored to get in.”

“Hmmm, very Eyes Wide Shut,” Tana said dryly. “Does everyone wear masks?”

“Some do. Most don’t. I think in the beginning, masks were more common but now, there’s a certain boldness to doing your thing without anonymity though everyone has a club name that they go by.”

Tana laughed. “Well, as fascinating as this club sounds, I think
I’ll just stick to good old fashioned porn if I want to be artificially aroused. Less commitment that way and no awkward goodbyes afterward.”

“My brother’s wife created a very successful art series based on Malvagio. Human sexuality is a well brimming with potential creativity.”

She took another sip, all the while holding his gaze. “And what exactly would you like me to see at this infamous club? I’m neither artistic nor particularly interested in watching others screw so I fail to see what value taking me there would offer.”

Reece leaned forward. “You can play the prude but I know you’re an insatiable little thing when your clothes come off. Makes me wonder what would happen if you were surrounded by sex…the sounds, the smell, the tangible sensuality…something tells me you might protest but deep down…you like the idea.”

Ahhh, caught. He loved these little games with Tana. He pushed, she pulled…but in the end, she would always land in his lap, which was right where he wanted her.

Flustered, Tana broke eye contact first, saying, “How did we get on this subject? Hardly seems fitting for dinner conversation.”

“I agree,” he concurred. “And to answer your question, you evaded my original question with one of your own.”

“Which you never actually answered either.”

“Are you shocked that my family owns a sex club?”

Tana gave a derisive snort. “Not really. It wouldn’t surprise me if you said your family owns a brothel and casino, too. There has to be a reason sin and Buchanan rhyme.”

Reece guffawed at her wit. “I might have to have that put on my business cards. Quite catchy.”

At that she laughed, too. “It really is.” A moment of easy silence passed between them before she said with a slightly shy smile, “Were you serious about what you said to Gypsy…”

All manner of joking left his body as his cock hardened instantly. “You mean about making you dick-drunk by morning?”

Tana bit her bottom lip and nodded. The air seemed to warm and his heart tripled in beat as everything in his body tightened.

  “You have no idea.”

Her shy smile was a triple shot of lust straight to his veins as she murmured, “Then what are you waiting for?”

  Hot damn!

He wasn’t really hungry any way.

  Chapter 12

  z

Maybe it was the grand gesture, maybe it was because Reece had a way of turning her expectations and biases upside down but whatever it was, Tana wasn’t interested in examining it any further — she just wanted to feel him inside her.

Hand clasped tightly in his, she followed him down into the belly of the beautiful ship as he lead her into the sumptuous, yet cozy bedroom of the luxury yacht.

The tiny gasp of wonder gave away her delight as she gazed about the room.

Tiny flickering candles, rose petals strewn about the bed and champagne and fresh strawberries…it was like something out of a fairy tale.

“You did all this?” she asked, her throat closing. “Why?”

“Because you’re worth it,” he answered, sealing his mouth to hers to erase any doubt. When he pulled away she was seeing stars and her eyes were wet. He thumbed away the tears with a concerned frown. “Is there something wrong? Why are you crying?”

“I’m not crying,” she protested even as she wiped at her eyes. “I’m just…confused.”

“Then let me clear things up for you,” he said with solemn seriousness. His mouth closed over hers tenderly, his touch sweet and dare she say it — loving.

  And she nearly broke.

A wave of unknown emotion crested over her and she had to face down the overwhelming urge to run away.

Reece wasn’t a bad guy but she was so determined to judge him by his family’s actions that she wouldn’t allow herself to see anything different.

Thus far, Reece had been nothing but kind, funny, incredibly sexy, caring, helpful…(did she mention sexy?) and all she’d done to this point was continue to push him away and question his motives.

And what exactly are you doing to him? Using him to save your family’s legacy? What does that make you?

  A terrible human being.

But what choice did she have? Her grandparents raised her, took her in when her own dingbat mother abandoned her, too preoccupied with the party than raising her own kid.

  Tana owed her grandparents everything.

They’d given her a stable home, love, happiness, compassion — all the things a parent should have given her.

Reece lifted her chin gently to meet his gaze. “Talk to me, sweetheart. What’s going on?”

“Stop,” she implored with a watery cry. “I can’t take it when you’re all sweet and kind. It’s confusing and I don’t know what to think of it. I’m no good at this seduction thing, okay? I don’t know how to separate my emotions. What you see is what you get and I don’t know what I was thinking coming here.”

She turned to leave, no flee was the more appropriate word, but Reece was right there, not about to allow her to run.

“You’re wrong…” he corrected her softly. “You’re very good. You seduced me from the moment I saw you in that boardroom, all piss and vinegar and no nonsense attitude. That was sexier than anything I’d ever seen.”

Tana wiped at her nose, knowing she was likely ruining the fancy make up job Gypsy had done for her. “Really? Even when I was so mean to you?”

“It was refreshing,” he said with a small twist of his kissable lips. “It’s not often that a woman looks down her nose at me. Made me think.”

  “Yeah? Of what?”

Reece pulled her into his arms. “Made me think of how hot you’d be right here.” To illustrate, his arms tightened around her possessively and a low growl escaped his mouth. “But I was wrong…you are hotter than I ever imagined.”

He didn’t give her the chance to rebut, which was smart.

His mouth descended on hers, taking no prisoners as he plundered, doing to her mouth what he would surely do to her within moments and she lost all sense of purpose and reason.

  His kisses were goddamn magical.

  Not fair.

But then when had she expected a Buchanan to play fair at anything?

At this moment, she was thankful for his ruthless determination to win because she was tired of her own game. She was failing miserably anyway.

His tongue touched off a litany of sensation tripling down her nerve endings, igniting a fire that could only be quenched by total immersion.

He guided her to the bed, never breaking the ravenous kiss, never stopping his exploration.

She was awash in need, hunger so deep and obliterating that the ache nearly swallowed her whole.

Had she ever been so taken with one person?

  Easy answer. No.

Reece was everything she shouldn’t want — but couldn’t stop herself from craving.

Tana gasped wildly as he tossed her to the bed, the hungry light in his eyes causing her to shiver as he tore his shirt from his perfect body.

  She’d seen him naked before.

  It shouldn’t leave her breathless.

  But it did.

Would this happen every time they were together?

She was afraid to wonder because that meant she was open — no, hoping — for more when it was all said and done.

And Tana knew that was foolish.

But screw it all, she wanted him like no other.

Her fingers clutched at the silky bedding, the sensual fabric sliding beneath her fingertips as he climbed the bed like a predator, his cock hard and ready. He wasted no time in removing her dress but he paused to gaze at her naked body as if she was the most desirable woman on the planet.

She shivered, loving the open lust shining in his green eyes as they darkened with need.

“You’re so fucking hot,” he breathed, his chest rising and falling harshly as if he were taking great care to contain his
raging need to devour her.

Tana didn’t question his declaration — she could read the truth in his eyes.

And it caused her heart to crack.

No one had ever made her feel like Reece did.

He slowly placed her legs over his shoulders and slid his finger deep inside her with gentle yet purposeful restraint. Reece’s muscles flexed as he held her in place, finding her clitoris with his thumb, using her own slick wetness to tease the swollen nub until she was squirming and panting.

“Reece…” she moaned, pleading for more than his finger, needing to feel stretched by him. “Please…”

“I love it when you beg,” he said with silky darkness. “Say my name again, sweetheart.”

Tana didn’t hesitate and offered up a breathy, “Reece,” as she lifted her hips, begging.

“Lovely,” he said, pleased. He rewarded her by replacing his thumb with his tongue and she nearly skyrocketed off the bed. Within seconds, Tana was shaking and crying, losing herself to a bone-melting orgasm.

When she could speak again, she said weakly, “You’re going to ruin me.”

When he replied with enough heat in his gaze to spark a fire, “That’s the idea,” she couldn’t help the excited thrill that raced through her limbs.

Playing with fire never felt so good.

  ***

The plan had been to seduce. To woo her. To bend her to his will.

Hell, if she wasn’t doing the very same to him without her knowledge.

Reece cradled her in his arms, relishing the tiny quakes and soft, whispery moans as Tana weathered the last of the tremors ricocheting through her body.

Reece inhaled the sweet scent of her crown, sinking into the quiet pleasure of what he’d begun to associate as uniquely Tana.

He gave her a moment to recover but only such.

His cock demanded hot, wet, slippery folds and he couldn’t deny it much longer.

Reece rolled Tana to her belly and then pulled her hips toward him as she went to her knees. God, the woman had the finest ass in the creation of the world.

Framing her ass cheeks, he wondered how shocked she’d be if he stuck his tongue in her little rosebud?
