Oooooo! My smile doubled. “I did, didn't I? See? I told you I'd make an awesome matchmaker! And I didn't even realize it! Operation Matchmaker is a success!”
She gave a short laugh. “Yes you did, Vicky. You are amazing. Now if you'll pardon me, I have to get back to 'my' bloke.” She grinned as she grabbed a water from the fridge and wandered back into her room, winking at me as she shut her door.
They are like soooo cute and will make like super-cute shy babies and such! I sure hope he's her happily ever after. Everyone deserves a happily ever after... everyone...
I looked over at the picture of Mia, Valla and I and whispered, “I did good, girls. I'll make you proud.”
I went to my bed... alone. 7-3-5-6-3-2... to hell with it... I don't want to block it out tonight. Mia has one hundred and three freckles on her arms, Vee has two hundred and twenty six gold flecks in her amber eyes. When Mia smiles the corners of her eyes get these adorable tiny wrinkles. Vee can make you melt when she crinkles her nose... I slowly drifted off to sleep with a smile on my face dwelling on the details of my girls and wondering what my next adventure would be... so many possibilities.
