Melting Her Dom's Heart [Dark Desires 3] (Siren Publishing Sensations)

When they arrived, he led her into the kitchen and then proceeded to make them both coffee. They carried their coffees to his suite, and they sat on the balcony drinking them. Kallie found listening to the waves breaking against the sand very relaxing.
Alex must have been tuned into her because he said, “Love the sound of the ocean. At night it’s so soothing lying in bed and hearing the surf.”
“That’s how I feel about my bedroom. I can listen to the wind through the trees. I missed it so much when I was in England. I imagine is the same as this sound. Very relaxing and calming.”
“It is. How does it feel to be back here?”
“Good. Most of my time England was okay, although it was too long, but there’s nothing like being home. I really missed it.”
“Yes, I know what you mean. I love when I out working in some far-flung place, but as soon as I walk in here I feel like I can finally relax. I'm home.”
“Your home is really beautiful, Alex.”
“I'm glad you like it. My mother thought I was crazy building something so large, but I hate being confined.”
Kallie thought he meant emotionally as well as physically, but she didn’t say anything.
“Are your parents still alive?”
“Yes. My father…my father lives in another state, on the other side of the country. He’s working on wife number four at the moment, and my mother lives in Europe with I have no idea what number husband.”
“My goodness!”
“I know. Each time she comes here, it’s with someone different.”
Kallie could hear the anguish in his voice. This was the root of his emotional distrust of getting involved with people and hearing how many times his parents had been married she wasn’t surprised.
“What about your parents, Kallie?”
“Both gone. My father died when I was in my twenties, and my mother died two years ago.”
“I’m sorry. That must have been hard. Dan told me your partner died a few years back. Your mother’s death on top of that must have been devastating.”
“It was a pretty ghastly time for me.”
Kallie knew that was an understatement. She remembered how grief-stricken she’d been when she’d received a call from a distant uncle to say her mother had been killed in a car accident. Some drunk had run a red light and slammed into her mother’s car. She’d flown back for the funeral and then had the horrid task of clearing out the house. Rather than keep it, she’d sold it—it held too many memories.
Kallie wiped a stray tear with the back of her hand and took a deep breath.
“I’m sorry, Kallie. I shouldn’t have asked. I didn’t mean to upset you.”
“Don’t be silly, Alex. You weren’t to know.”
“Do you have any brothers or sisters?”
“No. An only child. You?”
“Only child, too.” He laughed sarcastically. “My parents were always fighting too much to have any more. I have no idea how they managed to have me considering the succession of lovers they taunted each other with.”
“I’m so sorry, Alex.”
They sat watching the stars deepened in the velvety sky.
“Kallie, I…” Alex stood.
She cocked her head looking up at him.
He held out his hand. “Would you like to play a little before you go home?”
Kallie got the impression that wasn’t what he’d intended to say but changed his mind. She smothered a grin. He sounded like a little boy asking if she’d like to play with his Legos. She put her hand in his and allowed him to pull her to her feet. He held her hand and looked down into her face.
“You’re so breathtaking.”
The kiss he gave her was nothing like a little boy’s. She felt weak at the knees as he devoured her. Kallie clung to him and returned his kiss just as hungrily. It felt as if neither of them could get enough of the other. When they finally broke apart both were breathing fast.
“I feel like a drowning man, and you’re all that can save me.”
He reached out, slowly unbuttoned her shirt, and then parted it. He ran a hand from her neck down to the cleft between her breasts. He placed a soft kiss there, then covered a breast with a hand and gently squeeze. Kallie held onto his arms. Otherwise, she would have fallen. He slid the shirt down her arms. Through the lacy bra he tweaked her nipples one after the other. Kallie moaned softly as she felt him unzip her jeans and push them down her legs. She stepped from them.
He went behind her to unclasp her brassiere. That, too, ended up on the floor. He slid his hands in the side of her tiny panties and pushed them downward until they joined the rest of her clothes discarded about her. The evening sea breeze kissed her body, making her nipples pebble harder.
Alex picked her up in his arms, and she wrapped hers around his neck as he carried her into his playroom. He stood her on the floor and looked down at her.
“Kneel.”
Kallie dropped quickly to her knees and automatically put her arms behind her back, her eyes downcast. It felt so right to be before her master.
She saw his feet move away and then return a minute or so later. She guessed he’d stripped off because his bare feet and legs were in her line of vision. She thought he had cute toes and suppressed a snicker.
“Head up.”
She raised her head. Alex had his penis in his hand. He stepped closer and put a hand to the back of her head his cock touching her mouth. She opened it and he slid forward. Kallie licked around it and closed her lips around his cock as he began to move it in and out. She tried to use her tongue as much as possible, tried to tease the eye and wrap her tongue around the shaft. She was sure he was close to orgasm when he quickly pulled his penis from her mouth.
He ordered her to stand, walk to the fuck bench, and lie on it. Kallie sighed in delighted when he began to rub and tease her clit.
“You will hold your orgasm for as long as you can.”
“Yes, Sir.”
“You will hold the sides of the bench and not let go.”
“Yes, Sir.”
Kallie thought it would be difficult but didn’t realise just how hard. Alex seemed determined to bring her to the edge as quickly as he could, but when she felt that first tendril and tensed trying to hold it back he would stop for a second or two before continuing his onslaught.
So good. It’s so good!
She felt him push a finger deep inside and then rub her juices along her slit and toward the puckered rosette of her arse. He pushed his thumb against it and with his other hand tweaked her clit. It was almost her undoing, but thankfully he pushed a finger into her pussy. With his thumb pressing against her anus, she felt him use his finger to press and rub her G-spot.
That did it!
Kallie babbled a tiny scream as her climax rippled across his fingers. He kept drumming on her G-spot until her orgasm subsided. Then she heard the crinkle of a condom wrapper. As she watched he slid it along his shaft and then held it at her entrance. Teasing her, he rubbed it back and forth pressing against her clit.
She bit her lip so she wouldn’t beg him to fuck her, gripping the bench tightly with her hands. She lifted her buttocks slightly trying to make Alex slide into her but he grinned maliciously and shook his head. But he did push forward, thrusting deep into her pussy. Kallie closed her eyes in delight but quickly opened them when he pinched a nipple hard.
“This cunt is for my use only!” he yelled at her as he pounded harder and harder.
He was puffing, his virile male scent of sweat sweeping over Kallie. With each forward stroke he grunted. With each stroke, he tried to go deeper and deeper. He was twisting and pinching her nipples, adding to her intense feeling of arousal. Kallie tried hard to hold back her next climax but she knew it was useless when Alex dropped her nipple and pinched her clit instead.
She screamed as she came, and Alex thrust in hard to hold his cock deep within her. He shouted her name as he, too, came. Lethargic, Kallie lay there. She f
elt so relaxed after two wonderful orgasms. Alex lifted her, carried her inside the bedroom, and lay her on the bed.
He knelt before he then bent his head to lick her slit. Kallie was completely lost as he sucked and licked then teased at her clit. His thumb was once again pressing against her arsehole while his tongue worked its magic. She had no defence against him.
“Let me hear you scream,” he said and then continued his assault on her senses.
Scream wasn’t the word for it. She shouted his name. She shouted, “Fuck.” She shouted nonsense as her final orgasm shook her. She felt completely out of it as she drifted into that wonderful world of sub-space.
She woke a few hours later to Alex find playing with her hair. She turned her head to look at him. Already he was becoming special to her. How could she cope if he changed back into the frozen-hearted Dom she’d first met?
No, this is different. This is how it’s meant to be.
They lay gazing at each other. She saw his eyes were almost light emerald in colour with tiny streaks of yellow. Typically of a male he had long thick eyelashes that made her envious. Kallie saw he had a tiny half-moon scar above one eyebrow. She reached out and traced it with one finger.
“What happened here?” she said, her voice soft.
“Run-in with the ground when I was a kid.”
Alex captured her finger and held it to his lips. Those lips beckoned her. Both the top and bottom lip were so full. He opened them and gave her fingertip a tiny nip with even white teeth.
They lay quietly together until Kallie realised she had to drive home. “I’d better go. It’s about three-quarters of an hour to get home.”
“I guess you must.”
Reluctantly they both got out of bed. Alex went out onto the balcony and gathered her clothes. Kallie dressed quickly, and Alex pulled on his pants and shirt but didn’t bother buttoning it up. He walked her to her car and held her tenderly as he kissed her good night.
The only joy she had was the fact she was driving her own car home. It felt good, but she wished she could have stayed wrapped in Alex’s arms rather be out driving.
* * * *
Friday afternoon Kallie met up with Stacy for lunch at a quirky little Italian bistro not far from Stacy’s home. Hanging strings of garlic and the smell of herbs filled the room.
“Come on! Spill it all. Tell me what’s been happening. Alex called in last night, and he was positively glowing. I can’t remember seeing him so happy. He seemed to be laughing all the time.”
“Oh, Stacy, it’s been amazing. He’s been so nice. You knew I stayed the night on Friday. Well, on Saturday he drove me home and then helped pack stuff away.”
“Oh wow. He’s really got it bad. Tell me more.”
“I think he was going to leave but I lost my earring under the bed. I’d sort of crawled under it, and when he came in I’d just found it. I was on my knees and…”
“Fuck! You didn’t?”
“We did.”
“And?”
“It was mind-blowing!”
Stacy was grinning like a Cheshire cat. “Told you.”
“After he said he’d leave me alone. He walked out the bedroom, but, Stacy, I didn’t want him to go. I wanted more.”
“Bet he did, too.”
“He did. He said so. Anyway, on Sunday he helped me buy a car, and we went back to his house. My God, it’s beautiful!”
“I know. I love my house, but Alex’s is amazing.” Casually Stacy asked, “Did you get a tour?”
“If you’re asking did I see his playroom—I did, and we used it.”
Both women were giggling and grinning.
“He picked me up on Monday afternoon so I could get my car and we indulged again. He took me out for dinner on Wednesday, and we’re going out again tonight.”
“Is it just sex?”
“Hell no. We spend hours talking. He said if they do the polar bear shoot he wants me to come, too. He’s even promised to come over and help me clear up the backyard over the next few weekends.”
“Oh, Kallie, this is wonderful. I’ve never known him to allow a woman to get close. He’s never socialise before. Heck, I’m sure he didn’t know where half the women he dated lived.”
“I’m scared, Stace. What happens if I fall in love with him? Do you think he’ll back off?”
Stacy looked at her seriously. “I don’t know. I don’t think he will. I mean he’s acting like a man falling in love, so why on earth would he go back to being Mr. Frozen Heart?”
“I guess so.” Kallie was still worried.
“Relax. It’s going to work I just know it. When does Alex go away?”
“In a few weeks, just after my birthday.”
“Birthday? When’s that?”
“October twentieth. Don’t say anything to Alex. I don’t want him to know. He’ll feel like he has to buy something, and it’s too soon. We will have only known each other nearly a couple of months by then.”
“I understand.”
“Then he leaves on the twenty-fourth.”
“Actually it will be good to see if he contacts you while he’s away. I know he’s never done that before. Everything he’s doing with you he’s never done before.” She giggled. “It will give you an idea if he’s really getting emotionally involved.”
Chapter Fourteen
Kallie and Alex saw each other at least twice through the next few weeks and spent most of their weekends together. Kallie felt so happy and hopeful. The ice-cold man she’d first met had disappeared. Instead, a warm, caring, and rather funny man was in his place. The Dom only surfaced when they were making love. Alex had even slept over at her house a few times, which had completely shocked Stacy.
Alex had also been helping Kallie to clean up her yard. Over the years the bush had encroached. Obviously, her tenants hadn’t bothered to clear it. So Alex and she were working together to clear back the scrub and to make sure her fences were in order.
For Kallie everything seemed perfect. On rare occasions she felt a tiny fear in the back of her mind that Alex would back away, but with every passing week that fear weakened. It just got smaller and smaller.
When Kallie’s birthday came around she and Stacy planned to have lunch together. Meeting up at what was fast becoming their favourite bistro, Kallie was surprised and pleased when Dan turned up halfway through the meal.
He handed over a gift for her. It was a card telling her to phone to arrange selection and delivery of some outdoor furniture.
“Stacy and I couldn’t think what to buy you, but then we figured you could use this. Stacy said you’d mention you had to buy some.”
“I love it! You didn’t have to buy anything for me, but thank you, thank you both.”
She kissed them both as Dan said, “You can pick the ones you want, and they’ll deliver it up to you when it suits.”
“That’s wonderful.”
“So how are things with you and Alex?”
Kallie grinned over the table at Dan as she answered. “Great. Stacy doesn’t believe it’s the same man. He’s been helping me clear the scrub around my house.”
“I’m so glad, Kallie. I’m glad he is finally realising that getting close to someone is a great thing. I love him like a brother, and it’s frustrated me over the years the way he’d always keep his distance.”
Dan ordered a dessert and coffee when the women did, and the three of them sat talking for another hour until Dan reminded Stacy they had a meeting of her charity auditors. They hugged and kissed good-bye and Kallie drove home. She only just walked in the house when someone knocked on the front door. It was Alex.
“Wasn’t sure if you’d be home or not.”
“Alex! This is a surprise.”
“I bought you a birthday present.”
“How did you know?”
“Dan let it drop the other day.”
He went back to his car and opened the passenger door. Kallie saw a large crate on the seat.
He shouted to her. “Go into the kitchen and close your eyes.”
Kallie did as he asked and then heard him walk in.
“Arms out.”
She cocked her head puzzled but did as he asked.
“Open your eyes.”
As she did he put a large, fat, squirming puppy into her open arms. The puppy wriggled and licked her face as she burst into joyful laughter.
“Oh, Alex. It’s beautiful!”
“It’s a boy. He’s eleven weeks old. His mom is a German shepherd. He’s had basic training and well socialised. He’s potty-trained and knows a lot of commands.”
The puppy kept trying to leap from her arms to the floor then back again. His wagging tail was a blur, waving nonstop. Kallie put him on the floor and wrapped her arms around Alex. As she kissed him her eyes filled with tears. “Thank you so much, Alex. He’s wonderful.”
The outgoing puppy demanded both their attention so they ended up taking him outside. He began investigating the surroundings. Kallie was glad she and Alex check had all the fencing as they watched the puppy explore. Even though she owned acreage, she’d had a fence built around the house and the surrounding area when she had a dog before. It gave the dog plenty of room to play, but it also kept it safe from running off into the bush.
She and Alex sat down on the old outdoor setting. The pup kept running back to them, putting his paws on their knees and getting a pat before wandering off again to investigate his new surroundings.
“I’m glad you like him. I didn’t want to go away and know you were all alone up here.”
She laughed. “You’ll only be away for two weeks!”
“I know, but I’ll rest easier knowing he’s here.”
“Did they name him?”
“This one they named Zeus, but you can call him whatever you want. I got him from a shelter. They’d rescued the pregnant mom, and she had eight puppies. I picked him out because he seems so friendly and outgoing but a bit of a sook at the same time.”
“Zeus. I like that.” She laughed. “Goes perfectly with Kallista. I’ll keep it.”
When the puppy heard his name, he came racing back, tripping over his large paws and sprawling at their feet. Kallie laughed again.
