“Tell me you belong to me.” His words were filled with possession and I shivered at the emotion in them.
“As long as you want me.” I didn’t want to think about this now. Being with him, right now, knowing it could end tomorrow made my heart ache again.
“Always.” I felt his cock growing inside me and gasped as much from that as what he’d just said. He didn’t do relationships. He’d made that clear so what did he mean. Feeling the shift of his hips, I didn’t have time to ask as he thrust his upward.
It should’ve been impossible to want him again after what we’d just shared, but my body didn’t get the idea of that sentiment. I moaned softly. He guided my hips with his hands until I was riding him again slowly and I wasn’t sure I had the strength for another round. Turning me over slightly, we faced each other and my eyes opened in wonder.
“Wrap your leg around my waist sweetheart.”
This was a new position. The leg underneath me remained straight and the other followed his command as he slowly slid in and out. There was nothing hurried about our lovemaking and I was almost exhausted and not willing to complain.
He rolled his hips gently and then pulled out with the same easy measure and I whimpered. The pressure of his cock as he eased away against my clit had me ready to explode almost as soon as it began. My legs tensed and he smiled down seeming to enjoy this teasing sensual delight.
“I’m going to worship your body in so many different ways that you’ll never want to go.”
Taylor being tender was something I hadn’t been prepared for and I was amazed that the feeling was just as incredible as his normal rush to possess. I felt the now familiar sense of impending release and strained against him. “Please.”
He didn’t increase his speed instead he teased my body until I wanted to toss him over and ride him hard again. The smirk that I was beginning to love found his face for a moment before it morphed into an almost painful expression.
“Come for me now.” He gave a quick thrust and I couldn’t fight it if I had wanted, I melted into bliss. He followed quickly and gave a soft growl of satisfaction. “Mine!” His arms wrapped around me like a vice and I was floored by his announcement.
Letting my mind run over his word I knew I couldn’t disagree. I was his. I wanted nothing more than to belong to him. Hugging him back tightly, I whispered into his ear. “Yours.”
When we could move again, the shower became top priority. I was amazed that a day that had started so badly was now turned into me and Taylor laughing in the shower together. He was shockingly playful even taking the shower head down and squirting me in the face when I tried to wash his body.
“No more hands on me Miss Ross or we’ll never leave this bathroom.”
Sputtering, I giggled at his serious look because his body was definitely not on the same page with his mind. “Maybe you should train your little friend better then.” Grabbing the shower head from his hands I returned the favor and blasted him right back.
“Little? I’ll have you know that there’s nothing small about my Mr. Lucky!” Struggling with the shower head we were making one huge mess with the water.
“Mr. Lucky?” I couldn’t contain my laughter and maneuvered around him to shut off the faucet. “Fortunately for you I have nothing to compare him too.” I jumped out of the shower and grabbed a towel before we destroyed the entire room.
He grabbed me around the waist and lifted me into his arms, planting a firm kiss on my lips. “And you never will baby!” Lowering me to my feet, he grabbed the towel then smacked me on the ass.
Rubbing my aching cheek, I glared at him playfully. “Oh I don’t know. You might get bored with me and I’ll have to find someone who finds me worthy.”
All humor left his face and I backed away at the look of sheer possession that filled his eyes. He stalked me until I was pressed against the wall. “You’re mine.” As if he needed to send his words home his hand moved between my legs to cup my sex.
I shivered as much from the cool air hitting my wet flesh as from his demanding gaze. “You’re all I want.” Wrapping my arms around his neck I snuggled against him trying to understand this man that I’d given myself completely too.
The tenseness left his frame as he hugged me back and our lips met again. We didn’t leave the bathroom for a very long time as he was hell bent on showing me just who I belonged with. I didn’t complain about his methods of proving ownership.
He helped me pack when we finally emerged from sexual obsession. I was sore as sin and was thankful for the reprieve. Not that I wouldn’t love him again and again if he asked it of me. Walking wasn’t really that important, right?
I had no idea where we would go from here and living in blissful ignorance for the moment didn’t seem like such a bad thing. Somehow we contained ourselves long enough to arrive at the airport. Taylor made it clearly apparent that I was to do nothing but be his date at the function we were attending. Apparent, because he threatened to toss me over his knee if I looked at another man like I wanted more than friendship.

Paradise
Aruba was like walking into a dream. The white sandy beaches and sparkling blue waters were incredible by sunset and I didn’t want to check in at our hotel. I’d only been to the beach once and the scenery was nothing like what rested before my eyes here.
“Take care of our luggage and get us settled in the room.” I heard Taylor giving directions to the driver and grinned as he took my hand.
We were right on the beach and I couldn’t have been more pleased when he led me in that direction. He stopped at the edge of the sidewalk and knelt down. Lifting my foot, he slid off one of my dress pumps then the other. He’d read my mind. I couldn’t wait to sink my toes into the inviting sand. He quickly pulled off his socks and loafers then pulled me along with enthusiasm.
Seeing Taylor uninhibited was a joy to behold. His smile was brilliant as we walked like two lovers enjoying their first vacation together. Neither of us spoke and we enjoyed the peaceful surroundings of paradise. I was almost regretful when we made the walk back not wanting to miss a single moment of our adventure. The sun was already fading beyond the horizon and I knew we needed to get things organized.
“We’ll explore more in the morning.” He was still smiling as we found our shoes and walked back to civilization.
I nodded and felt this sense of harmony between us that kept my spirits’ high. Taylor didn’t seem to have an off switch, once we reached the room he called down for reservations at the five star restaurant I’d discovered resided here from the brochure.
We had to dress quickly and I felt like I’d barely caught my breath before we entered the extravagant dining area. The food was impeccable but I noticed how few people were around. “Is it always this slow I wonder?”
“Management hasn’t done its job properly, that’s why I want to step in now.” I hadn’t known this was the property he was trying to buy out and was stunned.
The place was huge and every luxury a person could want seemed to be encased within. “I don’t understand how they aren’t overbooked.”
“According to the books some of the services are inadequate for a high end clientele. That’s one of the reasons I wanted to research first hand before the meeting tomorrow night. The Chef here is renowned for his culinary talents though.”
I couldn’t disagree with that statement after a five course meal that was absolutely mouthwatering. “Definitely keep the Chef.” Grinning I sipped on a glass of wine and relaxed back in my chair, completely full.
After dinner we explored the spa, gym, and pool areas. I was dead on my feet by the time we made it back to the room. The room was incredible but not nearly as large as the one we’d stayed in last weekend. The view compensated for that because it had a balcony overlooking the ocean.
I slid off my heels and walked out to the balcony, closing my eyes and inhaling deeply. This was something I could get used to, I thought.
Taylor was speaking on his cell heatedly and I relaxed as he took care of whatever business issues he had.
I didn’t realize I’d fallen asleep until I felt his arms lifting me and carrying me back inside. He helped me undress and pulled back the covers. Tucking me in, he kissed my forehead softly. “I still have a few more calls to make baby, sleep.”
No argument there. I’d been going non-stop since Taylor arrived at my place this morning. Within moments I was sound asleep and didn’t wake up again until morning. Glancing over to the other side of the bed I saw Taylor’s indention from earlier but he was missing.
Sliding out from the comfort I padded softly into the living area. He was on the phone again and I wondered if he ever slept. Not wanting to disturb him I walked over to where a service cart was filled with food. Picking up a cup I poured myself coffee.
He hung up the phone and ran a hand wearily through his dark locks. “I know I said we’d explore today, but my client is having second thoughts. Will you be okay by yourself while I take a meeting?” The look he gave me was full of regret and even though I was disappointed I understood. He had a business to run.
“I’ll be fine.” Giving him a smile, not wanting to add my burden onto the ones he already had, I winked.
“I’ll make it up to you.” Reaching into his back pocket he pulled out his wallet and then a black credit card. “Go enjoy yourself today. I don’t know how long this will take and you shouldn’t be sitting around here bored.”
“I can just enjoy the beach.” I didn’t want to take his money and sunbathing all day wasn’t really the worst idea.
“It would make me feel better. Please.” I could tell he wasn’t going to relent and I walked over to accept the card. His lips lowered and he gave me a brief kiss. “I want you to buy yourself something beautiful and you can model it for me later tonight.”
So much for sunbathing I thought, trying not to be bitchy. “I’ll have my phone so you can call me when you get back.”
He kissed me again then grabbed his blazer off the couch before hurrying away. Left in a strange place all by myself was a little intimidating, but I refused to let it bother me. After enjoying a quick breakfast of grapefruit and toast, I took a shower and dressed in the most casual outfit I had.
Maybe shopping wasn’t a bad idea because everything I had with me was geared toward business or formal wear. It was in the eighties and back in Chicago it was still cold. With intent I picked up my purse, shoving my phone inside along with the credit card, then made my way back to the hotel lobby.
I stopped at the front desk and asked where the best place to shop was. After asking for my room information the young man behind the desk quickly called for a car and smiled. “Anything you need, Manuel will see to today.”
A brightly dressed young man who seemed to be a local smiled, bobbing his head. “At your service Ma’am. Just tell me what you’re looking to do today.”
I bit back a laugh at the way these people were catering to me and told him I just wanted to shop for some seasonal wear. The man gushed as he broke into a spiel about how wonderful the shops were. His enthusiasm kept me in a good frame of mind even after he escorted me from store to store.
For the first time in my life I didn’t think about what I was spending. Even though I’d only bought a bathing suit, a couple of short outfits, and the dress to wow Taylor, it was an exhilarating experience. I returned back to the hotel and put away my purchases.
He still hadn’t called after lunch so I gave in to my original idea and decided to sunbathe on the beach. The new bathing suit was a one piece, I wasn’t big into the whole showing my body off to strangers’ idea. I lathered on sunscreen and was amazed at how warm it was here compared to home.
The hotel had a full bar staff that attended the beach and I was actually legal drinking age here. I had a tropical Rum-Runner, which was delicious, and enjoyed the rest of the afternoon playing in the waves and getting a little tipsy.
By the time sunset came again I was ready to go inside. I made my way to the room and showered off. We were supposed to have the meeting with Taylor’s client tonight and I still hadn’t heard from him. It was still a few hours away so I decided to take a nap.
Resting on the bed in nothing but my bra and panties I closed my eyes and tried to relax. Warm hands caressing my stomach startled me and I woke to find Taylor above me. Grinning, I reached up to caress his cheek sleepily.
“Did you have fun today?” His lips whispered across mine before lifting again.
“I missed you.” I was still half asleep and his soft chuckle made me blush. “We’ll have to see what we can do about that.”
He joined me in bed and for the next hour he pleased my body in the way only he could. I was almost purring like a kitten draped over his chest when we finally came up for air. Suddenly it dawned on me that we had a meeting to attend. “We’re going to be late.”
I tried to sit up but he held me against his chest firmly. “No need. He agreed to the generous amount I was willing to pay and the deal is signed.”
Relaxing against him I was secretly pleased knowing I didn’t have to get dressed up. “So this is now yours?” I whispered because I was enjoying the quiet time together with him.
“Yours too if you want it.”
I didn’t know what he was talking about so I lifted my head and met his eyes. “I don’t understand?”
“Being away from you today made me realize that I don’t ever want to be without you again. Marry me, Laura. Everything I own will be yours. I can make you happy.”
I was flabbergasted by his strange proposal. For a few minutes I didn’t know what to say. “I’m already yours. We don’t need the marriage thing.” My heart was in my throat at the thought of becoming Mrs. Taylor Ross, but he’d said nothing about love.
“I need it. I want to know when I go to bed at night that you’re mine completely.” He kissed me again and for a moment I wanted to give in. “You’ve already said you won’t leave me so being married shouldn’t be a hard choice to make.”
I sat up in the bed trying to wrap my head around what he was saying. The fact that he wanted to marry me was great but the reasons he wanted too just weren’t the right ones. “People don’t make a lifelong commitment like that without expression emotion.” I wasn’t sure if I could make him understand my concerns.
“I want you baby. Underneath me, on top of me, against the wall, in every way imaginable. Isn’t that enough? I have never wanted another woman the way I need you.”
My body flooded with desire again at his words. “I want you that way too, but marriage? I still want to go to school.” It was a weak excuse but the truth was I needed to prove that I could be in control of my future and with his millions I’d never be sure I did anything on my own.
“Hell baby, go to school. My wife can do whatever she wants. Work with me at the office and learn it from the inside out. Just say yes so I know you belong to no one else but me.”
I understood in that moment that as confident as Taylor showed the world he was outside, on the inside he was still an insecure little boy afraid of caring. There was no doubt in my mind that I loved him, but would agreeing to be his wife finally make him secure enough to love me back?
“Is this really what you want?” I knew for him he was just fighting against his own insecurities. I don’t think I’d ever felt like the adult in this relationship until that moment.
“I want that more than anything.”
His words were all I needed to hear. “Yes, I’ll marry you Taylor.” The joy that lit his face was enough to put all my fears to rest.
It wasn’t the perfect proposal but for a man like him I somehow figured it was the best he could do. We made love again and I don’t know if it was my agreement or the fact that he felt he truly owned me now but he made me feel like a goddess that night.

Epilogue
Four and a half years ago today I married Taylor Ross
. Today I’m standing in line waiting to receive my bachelor’s degree in business. Living with him has been a rollercoaster of emotions but something I’d do over again if I had to make the choice.
It was a no-brainer to decide a major since Taylor had made it clear I’d be running his company with him. We’d be moving into the family estate this week because his mothers’ health was failing and she depended on him almost as much as I did.
After getting to know her I understood so much more about the man behind the cocky attitude I’d come to love. She was such a tenderhearted person and loved with such abandon that a person with a strong disposition could easily bend her to their will.
Knowing how Taylor related to life, I doubted his father was much different and I’d had to assert my own independence several times over the course of our marriage to be heard. My insecurities had come from being young and they’d disappeared as I grew up and refused to back down from what I needed to be happy.
To say that Taylor forced me to grow a backbone was an understatement. I could dish it out with as much finesse as he could these days and he seemed to love me for it. That’s right Taylor Ross loved me.
It had taken almost a year and me threatening to walk out the door before he admitted his feelings. He still loved his control in the bedroom, and I enjoyed letting him have it, but when it came to real life? I demanded my rights and he’d quickly learned that I didn’t take no for an answer.
As far as him demanding I come work with him? Well let’s just say that things needed improving and I had no problem stepping in and making sure those changes happened to my satisfaction. Most people were afraid to challenge Taylor, I however thrived on it. He was at his best when he had to prove his point in my opinion.
The only downside to our relationship, and I really didn’t consider it one, was that Taylor couldn’t have children. I was selfish enough to want his love for myself and the thought of sharing him with anyone other than his mother wasn’t something I’d cry over.
