REMEDY #1: ROSE QUARTZ & LAPIS LAZULI CHAKRA WORK

Lie on your back with your eyes closed. Place a piece of rose quartz on your heart chakra and a piece of lapis lazuli on your throat chakra. Visualize energy flowing between the two chakras. The rose quartz will open your heart, while the lapis lazuli will facilitate communication and help you have truthful and honest relationships. Lie this way for 10 minutes.

REMEDY #2: ROSE QUARTZ & CITRINE CHAKRA WORK

Sometimes the person to whom you need to open your heart is yourself. This chakra meditation focuses on the solar plexus chakra, which is where you build self-esteem, and the heart chakra, where you find unconditional love. Use a piece of rose quartz and a piece of citrine for this meditation. Lie comfortably on your back with the rose quartz on your heart chakra and the citrine on your solar plexus chakra. Close your eyes and visualize each chakra opening, with energy flowing freely between them and throughout your body. Continue your meditation for at least 10 minutes.

Releasing Negativity & Increasing Positive Energy

The Law of Attraction states that whatever you put out into the universe, you receive back. Therefore, if you’re caught in a spiral of negativity, you are creating energetic circumstances in which more negativity can come back to you. This can be a very difficult cycle to get out of, unless you actively work to increase the positive energy in your life. If you’re stuck in a negative pattern, it’s essential not to dwell on the negativity and give it more energy, but rather focus on generating positive energy to turn things around.

I am filled with positive energy, which brings positive things into my life.

  MEDITATION

Sit comfortably with your eyes closed, breathing deeply. As you exhale, imagine your negative energy as a dark cloud leaving your body and dissolving into a white light that surrounds you. As you inhale, visualize the positive white light entering and filling you as you repeat the mantra. Do this for at least 10 minutes every day.

REMEDY #1: IOLITE & BLACK TOURMALINE

Iolite is a beautiful watery-blue crystal that attracts positive energy, while black tourmaline absorbs negativity. Do the meditation while holding the black tourmaline in your giving (dominant) hand and the iolite in your receiving (nondominant) hand. Be sure to cleanse and charge the crystals a few times each week to keep them working well.

  REMEDY #2: MOLDAVITE & AMBER

I’m a sucker for any crystal that does more than one thing at a time, which is why I think moldavite is so perfect for transforming energy. It is a crystal of transformation, so it can turn the energy of any situation from negative to positive. This is a great stone to use when you feel like you’re caught in a negative spiral. Amber is a stone of happiness and joy, so it increases positive energy. Do the meditation with moldavite in your giving (dominant) hand and amber in your receiving (nondominant) hand for 10 minutes, noticing how the energy going into the moldavite transforms and returns to you with positive vibes, while the amber adds positive energy and happiness from the receiving hand. Cleanse the stones daily if you’re in an intensely negative cycle, or a few times a week otherwise.

  Resentment & Letting Go

When you resent someone, you hold both you and that other person captive spiritually and emotionally. It can negatively affect future relationships, as well. Learning to let go of resentment can heal relationships, or it can provide you both with release, allowing you to move forward with your lives, whether together or apart. Some relationships can’t be healed, even after letting go of resentment, and that’s okay. What’s important is that you both learned the lessons you needed from the relationship and that you have released each other into a positive and healthy future.

I release [name the person] from anger and resentment and bless [him/her] for a positive future.

  MEDITATION

Sit comfortably with your eyes closed, breathing normally. Visualize the person toward whom you hold resentment, and picture your resentment as heavy chains surrounding that person. Now, send loving light from your heart to that person, watching as the love breaks the chains around him or her. Surround the person entirely with light as you repeat the mantra for at least 10 minutes.

REMEDY #1: CARNELIAN & MOSS AGATE

Red carnelian can help you release resentment, while moss agate helps with both resentment and letting go. This green stone is a good choice for the heart chakra, which allows you to love in the face of anger or resentment. Moss agate can also help you let go of bitterness and anger. Do the meditation while holding a piece of moss agate in your receiving (nondominant) hand and a piece of carnelian in your giving (dominant) hand.

REMEDY #2: BLACK TOURMALINE & AMBER

Sometimes resentment and bitterness are earned because one or both partners bring a lot of toxic energy into the relationship. In this case, it is even more important to let go of those emotions. Black tourmaline can help by absorbing the negative energy created by the relationship itself and helping you release both yourself and the other person. Meditate with a piece of black tourmaline in your giving (dominant) hand for 10 minutes daily for at least a week, focusing on releasing the resentment or negative feelings you have and allowing it to flow into the black tourmaline. Cleanse and recharge the tourmaline as soon as you finish each meditation session. Follow the meditation with five minutes of holding amber in your receiving (nondominant) hand to foster warm feelings and happiness.

TIP: Sometimes the best way to heal a relationship is to step away from it, letting it go. Resentment often builds in a relationship that no longer mutually serves both persons’ paths in life. But acknowledge your time together was beneficial to both. This can help you separate and let go with gratitude for the help you provided each other along life’s path.

  Stress & Peace

Too much stress in your life can rob you of your sense of peacefulness. Finding a place of peace within, however, can provide refuge from unavoidable stress, allowing you some respite during stressful times. We all have a peaceful place in us where we can go and recharge, no matter what’s going on in our lives. Locating your source of peace can help you keep stress at bay.

I release all stress and enter my place of peace.

  MEDITATION

Sit quietly with your eyes closed, breathing deeply. Focus all your energy within, locating a quiet space inside you. As you focus on this peaceful place, inhale peace and exhale stress while repeating the mantra. Stay in the meditation for at least 10 minutes.

  REMEDY #1: ONYX & SELENITE

Black onyx absorbs negative energy, while selenite has a very peaceful energy. Holding selenite or even gazing at it can help you reach a more calm and peaceful state. During times of stress, keep onyx and selenite with you. When you feel stressed, hold the onyx in your giving (dominant) hand, breathing deeply and allowing it to absorb your stress. Then, hold selenite in your receiving (nondominant) hand and gaze deeply into its depths as you take deep breaths and repeat the mantra 10 times.

REMEDY #2: OBSIDIAN & BLUE CALCITE

Obsidian can calm and absorb negative energy, while blue calcite can help ease physical signs of stress, soothing your senses and allowing you to find inner peace. Hold the obsidian in your giving (dominant) hand and the blue calcite in your receiving (nondominant) hand as you do the meditation.

TIP: If you work in a very stressful environment, keep a piece of selenite on your desk. One good choice that you can find in many crystal shops is a selenite tower on a lighted base. The base changes the color of the light, making the selenite glow in different hues. Watching the selenite glow with changing colors can release stress and increase your feelings of peace.

Here you’ll find profiles of 99 crystals to help familiarize you with their origins, colors, and primary uses. These profiles also specify each crystal’s chakra association for those who wish to integrate chakra work into their crystals practice. Finally, each entry notes recommended placement for the crystal to maximize its vibrational power.
