Forbidden Inmate

He strode away from the hallways. The sad part was he’d become too aware of her schedule. She should be with a group of inmates outside for recreational time. Some people played basketball and volleyball, others ran, and most of them gathered in groups to talk.
He pretended to read something on his phone, and every so often skimmed the area searching for her. When he spotted her, she hung with a small group, mostly listening in the background. A louder inmate, Hernandez, told a story while the others chuckled and catcalled. He appreciated Mia’s quiet way of blending into situations and places. If she had been a popular extrovert, their affair would be nearly impossible. People would figure her out easily.
He watched her until she looked in his direction and saw him. He motioned toward the shed with his chin. Guards stood in the outdoor area, but not anywhere near the shed. Excited, he made his way to the shed without looking back.
He entered and waited, and when the door opened his heart skipped a beat.
“Trent.” She hugged him, and he drank in the feel of her, her scent, her hair against his chin.
“I have good news,” he said. “Next Saturday I’ll be taking you out of the prison for a few hours.” He’d decided the first one should be a different inmate just so it wouldn’t be so obvious. “I’m trying a program to match people’s skills to job opportunities after they leave. I’ll take you to a landscaping company, where you can meet the owner and learn about the business.”
“That’s a great idea, but are you sure it’s happening?”
“Yes, it’s approved. The best part is… I didn’t have the idea until we talked together that night in my office. You gave it to me,” he said, making a mental note to thank her in his book. Maybe he could use her first name or a nickname to preserve her privacy. Or is it my privacy I’m worried about?
“I did?” she put her hands on her waist. “I’m glad. I can’t wait to go somewhere with you.”
“Me too. I miss you so much, baby.”
She kissed him. “We don’t have much time.”
“Come here.” He lifted her up and she wrapped her legs around him. He put her on the bench, and removed her pants. He’d love to have time to play with her tits and eat her out, but unfortunately it wasn’t a possibility. Now, more than ever, they had to be careful not to get caught. She was close to release and he didn’t want to screw it up for her. At the same time, not screwing her proved impossible.
When he slid his finger in her tight pussy, she was already soaking wet.
She slid off the bench and turned around, her back to him. “I want it from behind,” she said. “All the way.”
He grabbed a condom in his pocket first, then pulled down his pants. “Are you sure?” he asked. He’d played with her ass a few times and she’d enjoyed it but he didn’t want to force her to do anything she wasn’t ready for.
“Yes. I stole that cream from your office and hid it under the broken lawn mower,” she said in a playful tone, referring to the lube he used on her a couple of times he teased her butt.
“Well, you thought of everything, didn’t you?” He stepped away from her for a moment, and leaned to retrieve the hidden treasure. He moved the lawn mower and grabbed it.
Returning to her, he rolled on his condom first, his hands trembling just a bit. He squirted some lube on his index finger, and coated her entrance, playing with her hole to minimize her discomfort.
How lucky was he? He brought his cock between her cheeks, teasing her with the tip first. “You’re perfect.”
He reached for her pussy, and with his fingers teased her slick heat. She threw her head back and he dipped his head. Soon, he kissed her passionately, and pressed his length further into her until it found her hole. She moaned into his mouth and he nipped her upper lip.
When he drove himself inside her ass, he ceased the kiss for a moment, his head bobbing from so much pleasure thrumming in his veins. Being inside her like this took their intimacy to another level—like he owned her, claimed her in such a primeval way nothing else would take them apart. He wanted to be that man for her, the one to make her forget all others.
Emotion clogged his throat, and she thrust her hips into his shaft, encouraging him to move. “You’re the most amazing woman I’ve ever met,” he let out. Too personal. “I’m so close, Mia.”
“I know,” she whimpered. “Take me Trent. Take all of me.”
He intensified his teasing of her drenching wet pussy, and she bucked into him more, undulating her hips, showing him she was ready to come. Sweat dripped down his face. His heart tattooed against his rib cage, his cock nestled between her cheeks and the tip ramming her tight ass driving him over the edge. No more waiting.
He shoved inside her all the way, and then withdrew a bit, only to repeat the rhythm a few times. Her moans reached his ears and he flicked her clit relentlessly.
Their breathing joined together and he couldn’t tell whether the growling sounds came from him or from her. “Quiet so no one will hear us,” he reminded her when she began quivering.
“I’m coming so hard,” she said in between gasps.
He nipped the back of her neck, and she mewled, and his hands bit into both of her sides to keep her from falling. She trembled, and oh how he loved seeing her come undone before him. Never had the pleasure of a woman had mattered so much to him. Never had any woman mattered to him as much as Mia did.
“Are you ready?” Trent asked Mia when he slid open the door of the prison van.
“Yes.”
She’d made a point not to tell anyone about her afternoon of adventure. But, of course, one of the guards ratted her out, which prompted Ana and a few others to gather around her bunk as she brushed her hair and they smothered her with questions.
“First LaShonda, then you… either this guy is up to something, or I need me a new counselor,” one of them had said while the others catcalled and laughed.
While he drove the van out of the facility, she stayed pinned to her seat. Her heart raced when he drove past the gate, and she looked behind her. In less than one month, she’d be getting out for real. She’d already written her parents. They’d wait for her at the entrance.
“What are you thinking about?” he asked.
“I still can’t believe I’m here,” she said. With you. “What’s on the agenda?” She’d had to sign a couple of documents before she’d left, but they were more about liability than anything.
“First, here’s this,” he said, and gave her a box and a bag.
She opened it, carefully untying the bow. She lifted a cobalt dress, the color so vibrant it reminded her of his eyes. He’d bought her a dress. She held the soft silky fabric against her and sighed. “It’s gorgeous.”
“And appropriate. Knee-length and not too formal,” he said. “We’re going to a landscaping business. I know the owner and he offered to show you around.”
She peeped inside the bag and saw another box, smaller. Probably shoes. “You put too much faith in me.”
“I see the look in your eyes when you’re planting. You enjoy yourself,” he said, fixing his sunglasses and watching the road ahead.
Maybe he meant that, because he’d abandoned the family tradition of law school to take up Sociology and become a prison counselor, of all things. Everyone should do what they enjoy, not what they’re told to do. He could have had the glamor, the status… but instead he preferred to make an impact on people’s lives. She assumed he was also a well-to-do counselor, and not just because of his refined manners.
Trent excelled at what he did, and wanted her to do the same. Those were traits anyone should treasure in a professional… and a lover.
For the next several minutes, silence fell over them and she enjoyed the view and tried to remember if there was something she’d missed during those fifteen months. So much had changed in her life. A billboard, a new business, or something that changed the landscape. Friends had gotten married, divorced, a couple of neighbors died, and a family
friend had adopted a baby from China. She’d been an obsessive reader of news, and in a matter of weeks she’d have an active role in society.
“Shit. This idea of yours really works. I’m already freaking out about my release,” she said when he stopped the vehicle by a coffee place. Hhhmmm. Real coffee and not that lukewarm tinted water they served at Leland.
“Let’s go inside, I’ll get us some coffee and you can change in the bathroom.”
She followed his instructions, and thankfully when she entered the place most people glanced at their laptops, read their e-readers, or talked to each other. No one paid attention to her, and she preferred it that way. She scurried to the bathroom, changed into the dress, slipped on the pair of black heels and folded her uniform into a ball and carried it with her. When she washed her hands, she glanced at her reflection in the rectangular mirror.
Who is this woman? She smoothed her hand over the dress, remembering the days when she’d go to stores at the mall to buy clothes on sale for her admin position. Before she’d dated Eddie and made one mistake after another.
It’s all in the past. She could repeat the mantra as much as she wanted, but she knew it wouldn’t make it true. Until she left and started a new life away from Leland, her past was pretty much her present. She smiled. She had one day with Trent and she was going to enjoy it.
When the world has something nice to offer, take it, her mother had told her once when she had been a child and wanted to pick a beautiful flower from a field.
Drawing a deep breath, she left the restroom and looked for him. He waited for her in the hallway with two cups, and damn him he’d never looked more gorgeous. Maybe he thought the same about her because he paused for a moment and stared at her intently before his gaze slid down and he appreciated her fully.
“I scrub up nice huh?” she said.
He looked deep into her eyes like they had just met. A zingy energy passed between them, and she bit the inside of her cheek. Damn. Then, his throat visibly bobbed, and he said, “You’re gorgeous, Mia.”
“Did you do the same thing for LaShonda?” she asked and took the cup he handed her as they headed out of the coffee shop.
He chuckled. “Not the same dress. But, yes, it’s part of the experience to feel like you’re out. What would you do? Many feelings come to surface when you dress like everyone else and do things other people are doing.”
“And you feel like you fit in.”
“Or you don’t. That’s why this is an enriching experiment. Both sides are learning experiences.”
She took a sip of her coffee, the rich liquid rolled down her throat, so warm and soothing. “This coffee is like mouth porn.” She hummed.
“You’re going to discover the little things again.”
“I’ll appreciate them, for sure.”
He started the engine and, for a moment, she pretended they lived in a different world. A world where they were equals, where they had just shared a coffee date and now drove off together to cross errands from a list. Maybe they were engaged to be married, even. And their families had met and got along great. He could be a professor or an investor, and she anything but an ex-con.
God. She’d give anything to actually belong in that world.
“We’re here,” he said, and she blinked out of her make-believe world.
She glanced at the stretch of land, and the many vases decorated the entrance to the building. A myriad of flowers, plants, and bushes outlined the gravel path leading to a brick house. He walked alongside her, and that’s when she remembered who they were. In her pretend world, they would have held hands. She had never enjoyed PDA with her exes, but perhaps because she couldn’t have any with Trent she yearned for it.
Not today. He was dressed casually in jeans and a short-sleeved shirt, yes, but presented himself to the clerk as the counselor from Leland. She’d have to act professional—for her sake and his. If people found out the counselor got cozy with the inmate he brought over for a program, she’d get in trouble and he’d lose his program and possibly get fired.
“Hi. I’m Newton,” said the guy who shook their hands. “I started this business four years ago,” he began, and for the next hour, he kindly showed them around. A whole area behind the brick house had several types of flowers, also some samples of bricks and other materials that could be used for landscaping.
“Such amazing creations,” she said when he showed her a binder filled with pictures of past projects. So many of them had flowers and plants as the main focus.
“When you’re ready to work,” Newton said, “give me a call. We always need more help and would love someone who enjoys outdoor stuff.”
A flame of hope ignited inside her. “Really? That’d be great.”
He gave her his business card. “Yes, please keep in touch.”
“I will.”
They exchanged some pleasantries and she couldn’t suppress a squeal when they entered the van. “I have no words. Thank you, Trent. I’ve wanted to be out for several reasons, obviously, but it’s nice to have a solid idea of what awaits me.”
She chewed on her lower lip.
Trent stroked her jaw, and the touch brought that familiar tingling to her body. “You’ll be fine when you’re out, Mia. You would have been anyway, without my help. You’re smart and amazing.”
God. She shifted in her seat, then put on her safety belt. “Where to next?” she asked, hating herself for the pang of nervousness in her voice. What if they had to go back? He’d already had her meet Newton and his company. She couldn’t be away for the whole day, even though no one would miss her at Leland.
He gave her a once over, then turned on the engine. “We’re headed to my place.”
“Your place?” her pulse raced.
“Yes. Before I take you back, I want you to see where I live,” he said, driving out of the parking lot.
“Why?”
“Because I’ve been picturing what my house would look like with you in it,” he said casually.
She clamped her lips to keep from uttering a nonsensical reply she wouldn’t be able to take back later. An instant joy swept through her, fast tracking her entire being. She wanted to see his place too, even if seeing it would make her picture a lot more than she had allowed herself to. But she’d deal with that later.
Chapter 6
Trent opened the door for Mia. She walked in, appreciating his foyer and vaulted ceilings. He’d never thought much of someone seeing his place, but she took each step with a degree of wonder, and that made his heart squeeze.
She strolled into the hardwood living area, her eyes fixed on the floor to ceiling glass wall he’d insisted on keeping when he bought the property. The view of the patio and greenbelt was majestic. Bushes and trees canopied over each other. One of the reasons why he’d chosen the serene place.
“It’s beautiful,” she said.
“Make yourself comfortable. Do you want something to drink?” he asked as he gestured for her to sit on one of the leather couches.
“I’m good,” she said, and turned her attention to the stone trimmed fireplace. “I’m letting everything settle and imagining your daily life.”
“I spend a lot of time outside.”
“Yes, that body and tan don’t happen overnight,” she said, gesturing at him.
He chuckled, and shook his head. “I have an office, but I only go in there when I need to print something or get a book. I spend most of the time in my room.”
“And where might that be?” she stood.
He grinned. Having sex with her hadn’t been why he’d brought her to his house. Okay, maybe the idea lurked at the back of his mind, but he wanted to show her a little bit more of himself. If she asked to see his room, how could he deny her?
“At the end of the hall,” He pointed.
She headed to his room, and he followed her, unable to keep from admiring the sweet sway of her hips when she walked. Dresses and skirts certainly agreed with her.
> He sucked in a breath.
“Nice,” she said, a couple of steps ahead of him, already inside his most personal space. She twirled around, contemplating the wooden shelves filled with books and artifacts from a couple of foreign trips. The bed took center stage, and he’d made it that morning just in case she visited his room. Now he glanced at the maroon bedspread he’d bought the night before, along with a couple of pillows, and knew he’d overdone it.
“Does your bed always look like this?” she sat on it.
“No.” He smiled. “I dressed it up in case you came over. I’m bad at making the bed in the morning.” Or ever.
She lay on his bed, with her fingers intertwined on her stomach. “That’s cute. You wanted to impress me.”
“I put my best foot forward, yes. I also picked up the clothing I usually toss over the chair,” he said, easing down on the mattress. He lay next to her without touching her limbs. The nearness of her provoked a giant wave of warmth to crash his tranquility. But she brought him a different type of tranquility, and for a few minutes they both stared at the ceiling in silence.
She rolled over to him and kissed his neck. “I say we make some memories on this nice bed, so you have something to think about later tonight,” she whispered, her hands hovering over him.
“I couldn’t agree more,” he said, and moved her dress over her head. She laughed, and took off her bra and panties immediately. The sensation of touching her naked body in his bed sent a frisson through him. “You’re beautiful,” he said, feeling like a fool. Whoever invented such an overused word should meet Mia. His Mia.
She kissed him, and he moved his tongue inside her mouth like a conqueror who wanted to explore a newfound land. Every time he kissed her, he thought he covered everything, but then a new kiss would introduce him to a deeper pleasure, to a part of her he should keep discovering and ravishing. He flipped her over the mattress so she lay on her back and he could touch her breasts.
Her tits greeted him with puckered nipples and he cupped them. She squirmed, and when he let go of her mouth briefly, the loudest and sexiest moan escaped from her lips. “Yes, baby give it to me,” he said, his hand traveling down to her pussy. “I love it when you’re loud.”
