“You asked me if I had some more of that truth spell. Well, drink it and see how our parents died.” Folding her arms, she chuckled.

“I already know how they died.”

“No, you know what Duke told you. Learn the truth Faye and determine for yourself.” I stood there giving her a minute to think. I needed her to bite this last peace of bait and I knew I would have her on my side.

  “Ok, show me.”

I hid my smile while I grabbed another cup of the liquid spell Gabe gave me. I wasn’t a witch or anything supernatural. If anything, I would love to kill all the evil beings who aren’t supposed to be here. Gabe meant nothing to me, I appreciate him telling me the truth of my parents and wear I come from. But he was the enemy as soon as he told me what him and his mother really were. It was her fault vampires were in this world.

I was using him to get what I wanted. Faye loves Duke and I knew no other way I could tear her from him. That’s all my focus was on. The smoke appeared again after we both drunk from the cup. Only this time, it was different. Gabe intervened and twisted the truth. He always told me there was a price to pay for using dark magic for deceitful. I didn’t give a shit that was between him and what evil God he served.

The picture appeared in the smoke and it was our parents at home. I didn’t know their routine or anything about their home. Gabe told me the spell would work all the details out. Our mother was in the kitchen baking a pie. It must have been her norm because Faye cracked a small smile. Then it showed our father drinking in the living room and looking at something through a magnifying glass.

“He used to collect rare coins from all over. Coins and stamps were his thing.” Faye spoke while still looking at him.

“Did you love them?” I asked her because I wanted to know her true answer. I didn’t need what I wanted to cloud my judgment. If Faye told me she hated them and was glad they were dead, then she would become an enemy of mine as well.

“I did love them. As controlling as they were, they were still my parents. You look at this and think you know them. Think you missed out on something so great.” I saw a tear slide down her face. “Mom would break me down with her critique and dad would come in and finish the job. Yea, I had everything I wanted material wise. But if it wasn’t their way then it was no way.” We both were still looking at them then a loud knock came to their door. Dad got up and headed to go answer it.

“Sandy get the hell back.” He told mom and she stayed in view but still out the way. When he opened the door Duke was standing there.

“What the hell do you want?” Dad said looking pissed to see him. His hand was going behind his back to retrieve his gun. But Duke used his demand and hypnotized him.

“Don’t be stupid. Leave the gun alone and let me in.”

“Would you like to come in?” Dad asked and Duke walked inside. Faye walked closer to the picture to get a better look. I watched closely to because it looked so damn real.

“Get out our home. You have corrupted our daughter---”

“Shhhh.” Duke said to our mother, locking her in a trance as well. “I wanna talk like adults, no funny shit or I will kill you.” Duke warned them and you can tell he let them go from under his control because their eyes weren’t gazed on him.

“All your daughter wants is for you to love and except her choices. Get out of your old ways and realize that you have raised a good person.” I was getting annoyed because Gabe was making Duke look even better in Faye eyes. At first, I thought he had played me but as I watched on, I realized he didn’t.

“You killed my son, my daughter cannot possibly love you.” Duke walked closer to dad.

“Your right, I did kill your boy. But that’s the past and we are in the present and I love your daughter. Always have from the moment I met her.”

“She won’t love you anymore once she finds out the truth.” Mother spoke up and that pissed Duke off. He transformed into the monster he was.

“Well we will just have to make sure that will never happen.” He began attacking our dad. Ripping his neck open and his claw like hand tore through his chest. Then he charged our mother and did the same. Blood was everywhere, the screams were loud and Duke was who I wanted him to be. A demon in true form.

“This isn’t real.” Faye spoke while watching it with tears falling from her eyes so fast.

“It is Faye, the truth is not always what we---”

“I SAID SHUT THE FUCK UP IT ISN’T TRUE!!” Throwing the cup she came at me slamming me against the wall. It cracked and my chandelier fell from the ceiling splattering all over. The way Faye was acting out on me and the look in her eyes let me know she was no different from Duke. Luckily, Gabe gave me something that not even vampires knew about. I hurried and reached in my pocket. I had a small perfume sampler bottle that I put in my pocket after Faye left the first time.

“AHHHH!! AHHHHH!!” She yelled out when I sprayed her. As scared as I was and knowing what she could do to me. I didn’t stop spraying until it was so much on her eyes that she passed out.

Once she did, I jumped up and didn’t waste anytime making my move. I still had hope for Faye. Duke turned her into what he was and I knew all I had to do was bring her back. Inside my house was the safest place we could be because Duke, Annabella or Andreas couldn’t come in. I came to far too lose, I was getting my sister and we were going to rid the world of all vampires. Right now, I needed to show my sister some tuff love.

  Gabe

I was on stage playing my heart out even more because I knew Annabella was in the booth watching me. I took it up a notch and asked the owner for a longer set. I wanted to make love to Annabella through my music. Why was this happening, is this how my mother felt when she was under Andreas love spell. I was infatuated by this woman, I dreamed of her and even had long imaginations about her. The jet-black hair and her eyes stood out the most for me.

It kept my heart fluttered, stomach filled with butterflies and my dick hard. My flesh was weak which was why I had to take precautions when it came to my mission. Annabella’s beauty was making me feel things and cloud my judgment. So, I called on the spirits of darkness to take a hold of her mother. You see I knew what Annabella’s gift was. I knew because even in death, my mother still communicated with me. Guided me as if she did when I was younger.

Every deceit with black magic comes at a price. My mother was never supposed to have me, but she made a deal with satan so that she could leave a legacy behind. On my eighteenth birthday my father was killed. A soul for a life, my mother didn’t want to leave me fending for myself as a child so the deal was at exactly midnight on my birthday that satan could have my dad’s soul. He knew and he had prepared me. But I wasn’t prepared for my mother’s death.

Had I known she was up against Annabella and her mother; I would have helped mine and we could have defeated them. I stick to my plan until I am near Annabella. Until I hear her voice, or she texts me. It was like I was under her demand, but I knew I wasn’t. I couldn’t be demanded by any vampire. My mind was guarded from them being able to. Now that I have shook Annabella’s soft hand, she was under my control.

Everything she felt for Andreas, she was feeling for me. Only not in the way I wanted. It was as if something inside of her was still holding back. Like her love for Andreas was so strong that even the spell had no 100% effect to it. As I said earlier, I want to make Andreas break. Once he’s weak, I can stake him and then let Annabella go on without him. As I have to go on without my mother. I have leverage over her which will make her to never want to seek revenge on me.

Her being immortal made my plan even greater, means her suffering will never stop. My mother led me to Faye, the odds of a slayer being in love with a vampire and that same slayer being Annabella’s best friend. It was fate, so I went to Luna and fed her bullshit about her family sending me. Even though Luna had a family, she was still desperate to belong.

I knew she would eat anything I said up. I’d give her what she needed
and she would give me what I needed. Annabella would have nothing left, just sadness, pain and regret. Best of all, she wouldn’t be able to do anything about it. Now, my head was saying everything I just told you. But my heart, it was on her. It wanted her, to know her, feel her, taste her and own her. How to shut it up is now my task.

“That was amazing like I knew it would be.” After I was done playing, I collected my money from the manager.

I signed a few autographs for some women then I went back to Annabella. My goodness she looked amazing in one-piece that hugged her slim body, revealed her bare back and dipped in the middle of her breast. Those eyes and hair of course shined. Annabella dressed as if it was summer but I knew it was the wolf and vampire mixture in her that kept her body warm. Sliding in the booth with her I was glad the place wasn’t packed. It was the perfect set of intimacy.

  “I’m glad you enjoyed it.”

“More than enjoyed it, I felt like you were playing just for me.” When she said that she seductively pressed her back in the booth.

Sliding her finger ever so lightly down the middle of her chest. It was like night and day from when I first met her. Annabella didn’t look at me twice at the grand opening. I knew it was the spell and the fact that vampires are natural lures of lust. That’s what had her fucking me without even touching me. I hate the way she was demanding me without being able to really do it. But then again, I didn’t want her to stop.

“In my head there was no one else in this room. Just me, you and the smooth sound. That’s why woman are big fans. I talk to them through my music, but if I am really trying to connect with a woman.” I looked her in her eyes while I picked up my drink. “I fuck her, long and hard through my music.” I knew I had her heart beating fast and her pussy wet.

“Naw, it wasn’t that. Trust me, if you were fucking me hard and long. You’d be drained. Well, of energy that is.” I almost skipped a breath because I could have sworn when she said that, and the dim light shinned on her eyes. They were the color of an eclipse. Now, I practiced being a witch and harnessed some of my mother’s power. It dulled when Annabella would even so much as glimpse at me.

“So what is this we are doing?” I asked and she furrowed her eyebrows.

“What do you mean, we are having a drink.”

“Don’t be coy Annabella. It’s date night, your dressed like that and we have been flirting since we both arrived. Clearly you are involved and I’m not. So, again I ask. What is this we’re doing?” I wanted to know what she was going to say. I also wanted it to be what I wanted to hear.

“You’re right, I do belong to someone else but that’s not a problem because we are just friends. I like your music and hearing you play. Hence why I’m here, I mean we didn’t even ride together. We met up here.”

“Does Andreas know you’re here?” I said his name and I swore she bit the side of her lip. Jealousy grew in me because even the sound of his name set her on fire.

“He doesn’t but I’m not doing anything so.” She shrugged her shoulders and I snickered.

“And yet you chose not to tell him.” We both took a sip of our drink and I decided to change the subject. “How long have you and Faye had y’all business?”

“For about three-years. We love what we do and knew one day we would open a store. Now we have two locations and couldn’t be happier.” I listened to her tell me about their friendship. How they met and grew up together. I told her about me, well the made-up life. Two married parents, no siblings, private school and the love for music. A lot of friends, fraternity in college and no kids. All except the no kids and love for music was a lie.

“Well, I had a great time Gabe. The show was great and your great company.”

Great! What the hell kind of compliment is that. Sounds like she’s being nice before she says fuck you nigga. The flirting went on and off on her part through the evening. Like I said, it was as if Andreas hold was to strong. I was acting different as well, I hung on to every word she spoke. Like now, I was walking her to her Aston Martin and her sweet smell was heaven. Opening the driver side of her door of her to get in she faced me. Her face was as if she was lost in a lustful intoxication.

“You have a scent to you that is hard to ignore.” Her face was closer.

“I hope that’s a good thing.” I said and she licked her lips and responded.

“Indeed it is Gabe.” What the fuck was happening. Why were her eyes locked on mine so tight and I felt her wrap her arms around my mind?

Like she was pulling at my thoughts, my subconscious and my control. Annabella was demanding me, how is this possible. I have a protection spell on my mind. I needed to do---- Oh God she’s beautiful. Her eyes, I can’t break free, I don’t want to break free. I have never felt so good as I did at this very moment. Surrendering my mind to her, giving her the strings to control me like a puppet. It felt sensational.

“You had a good time tonight, didn’t you?” Her voice sounded better than Lucile.

“Yes I did.” My answer pleased her because she gave me a smirk and her hand touched my chest. I almost fell over it felt that good.

“You walked me to my car, I kissed you on your cheek and then you watched me drive off. That’s how we ended our date, that’s how you will remember it.” Her eyes changed to that eclipse color. Fangs, fangs were now in her mouth and I became frightened. But her voice held me close.

“No Gabe, you’re not scared. You look at me and still see the girl from a few minutes ago. Right?” I nodded my head and she was right, her beauty was filling me up with joy. Her hand went up my chest more and then I felt her tongue lick up it.

“Argh!” I moaned out low when I felt her bite into me. Although I knew what she was doing, I felt like I was deep inside of her. The softness that was her hands slid up and down my chest and she started moaning as well. I was about to lose my balance so I leaned against her car. Suddenly, she stopped moving and snatched away. My blood was dripping from her lips and the fear was in her eyes. Looking around as if she was searching for answers her eyes met mine and she pushed me hard out her way. I watched her get in her car and speed off. My mind felt like she placed it back in my head and I had control again.

“Aye man, are you ok? You’re bleeding out your neck.” I looked at the guy who was walking towards me like he was crazy. Bleeding from the neck? Touching it I looked at my blood and ran to my car. Last thing I remember was walking Annabella to her car. We were pleased with the evening she even gave me a kiss on the cheek before she drove off. So how the hell did I end up on the ground bleeding? I made it to my condo and hurried inside. Luna was calling me but I would have to call her back.

“What the?” Examining my neck I wasn’t stupid, these were bite marks. But I know for certain…... CRASH! I ran out my bathroom when I heard glass shattering in my living room was was. I lived alone and yet you could see glass vases, my painting being snatched from the walls. My kitchen table was rattling, it was as if someone was going in a blind rage. The lights were flickering, and I knew what was happening.

“Mother.” I ducked when a chair from my table came at me. I knew she was pissed, displeased with how I had been carrying on. “I’m sorry, please calm down!” CRASH!

“I can fix this! I promise I can!” MY walls were bare and bloody letters started being written on one of them. Annabella can not find out the truth about her! I read what she wrote and I got on my knees.

“On my life and once yours, I will make sure she doesn’t.” You’ve failed me!! I read her next words and I ripped off my shirt because I felt like a knife was slicing through my chest.

“Ugh! Mother please!” Sure enough, I had slashes growing across my chest, arms and back quickly. Like someone was taking an invisible whip and using it on me. Blood was coming out of me as the cuts appeared. Finally, after me kneeling in pain it stopped. Whimpering I said.

“T-Tell me what to do next mother. How can I get a step ahead of her?” I waited for her to answer as I gath
ered myself to stand up. The words Kill Giselle was now written on my wall.

“Where can I find her?” In dark red blood my answer was written out for me. I had to do exactly what I was supposed to do. Souls were expected for the use of all this dark magic. I planned on Andreas being one of them. I couldn’t fail my mother again and live to tell about it. Whoever this Giselle woman was would count as another one.

  Andreas

“Are you out of your fucking mind Duke?” We were in my wine cellar because he asked to meet here. Said he had some news for me about Bella and her family. What he didn’t tell me was he had more than that.

“It’s true Andreas, it really is me.” I looked at the woman who they were trying to convince me was Willow. I knew all about her and Duke past. The relationship, her transforming, the was she went to the dark side of being a vampire. I also knew he cheated on her and she took her own life. Now, they wanted me to believe that her soul was in this woman named Alicia body.

“If I did believe this, why your soul?” I asked her and Duke.

“I don’t know, Giselle says either I have an enemy or Willow does. All I know is when I took her to her favorite restaurant in Lansing. Her memories stayed coming back. Giselle told me to trigger her memory. Everything came back like a wave.” I looked at the both of them like they were crazy.

“Come on Andreas you just tested her. You asked her questions that only we all knew, and she got them right. You’re choosing not to believe what we’re saying when you know it’s true. I need you to back me up when I tell Faye.”

“Ok, let’s say all this is true. You died with as a vampire, how are you not one now?” I asked her and she had no answer.
