Cursed- the Sequel

  They did things to hurt me but claim to love me. My man, my best friend and Andreas were my family. Always and forever. I just hoped Bella and Andreas were alive and ok. When I heard her voice talking to Duke I thought I was dreaming. Now, Luna has outsmarted us, and I needed to think of a way out of this. If I get her to believe I was on her side, she would uncuff me. Let me feed on Gabe and I can kill her quickly. She’s a slayer so it would be a fight, but I was ready.

  “That’s a lie, she can never hate me.” Duke was practically calling my name begging me to tell him he was right. He believed every evil word out my mouth. As much as it was killing me, I had to do it. Luna will continue to fry Duke with the sunlight until even human blood can’t save him. I kept my eyes on Duke with my disgusting expression.

  “I thought I could never hate you.” The tears that fell fro my eyes were real because it was hurting me to hurt him. “Seeing how you can easily lie to me has changed my mind. I hate I met you, hate that I fell in love with you and I hate that I became what you are!” My words were cutting him up. It was hurting worse than the sun light or that liquid ghost orchid Luna sprayed on us. I know because I could feel it, we shared a heart and I was tearing it apart with my words.

  “L-Let me kill him, please Luna.” I was getting weaker and Gabe blood was smelling better than sex. Luna walked over to me with the key to the chains in her hand.

  “How do I know this isn’t a trick, that you’ll get your strength and try to kill me?”

  “Because when you showed me the truth about him. It was then that I realized I was all alone. I don’t want to be alone.” Giving her a pity look she was sucked in. I knew I was making her believe me. Sure enough she unchained me and I fell into her. I was weak and needed her to take me to Gabe’s body. As soon as she did my fangs popped out and I bit right in his neck.

  “I want her to stake you. I want her to look in your eyes while she puts a hole in your heart. Every second has the life leaves you, I want you to know you lost Duke.”

  “You a desperate lonely ass bitch. Do what you need to do, she already killed me.”

  “You’re weak! Weak and pathe---”

  I cut her off when I punched her square in her face knocking her down. I trained with my dad a slayer fights different than any normal person. It’s like second nature learning the moves because it was our destiny. When Luna fell she hoped back up and it was on from there. We were fighting like a live action movie. I was stronger but Luna could take it for a while. Some hits I missed and she would have a free shot at me. Some hits she missed and I was slamming her into the brick wall.

  “You’re a liar just like him! I’ll fucking kill you!” Ramming me into a table I knew I would heal quickly but it still hurt. I saw her reaching for her pocket. I knew she was looking for that spray bottle of liquid ghost orchid. I used my foot and kicked the back of her leg in making her fall. Picking up the bottle I threw it out the window just as she hit me in the face.

  “You will never be my fucking family!” I grunted loudly when I kicked her in her stomach. I tumbled backwards and mu face fell into the sun coming from the broken window.

  “Ahh!” Smoke came from my face and as I tried to regain my composure. ;una was standing by the door.

  “Fry you sons-of-bitches!” It all happened so fast. Luna opened the door and Bella stood there fangs out ready to pounce.

  “How……. I have your daylight ring.”

  “I’m a hybrid stupid ass.” Bella put her hand straight through Luna’s chest dropping her heart on the floor through her back.

  “The door Bella!” I yelled out because Duke was frying.

  “Oh shit.” Slamming it shut Bella used her vamp speed to bring Luna dead body to Duke. I broke his chains loose and he started feeding on Luna. I looked at Bella smiling and we hugged so tight. I missed my best friend and the last conversation we had wasn’t good.

  “Where is Andreas?”

  “Safe in Luna’s basement, I’ll make us new daylight rings.”

  “No need, they’re in her pocket.” We both looked at Duke while he still ate.

  “I’m so glad you and Andreas are ok, I was worried. So, a hybrid?”

  “It’s a long story that I will fill you in on once we get out of here.” Duke fangs popped out of Luna’s neck. He had drained her completely and he was back to his fine ass self. Sexy, chocolate and all mine. I smiled and went to him looking in his eyes.

  “I didn’t mean any of that shit I said. I had to make her believe me though.” Face so hard he looked at me with a serious face.

  “Well you played the role. You were fucking killing me, you know that?” I wrapped my arms tightly around his neck. His scent swallowed me but what felt even better. Was when he wrapped his arms tight around my waist.

  “I apologize about not telling you about Willow. I needed proof so I went to see Giselle. That’s how we knew everything about Bella.” I knew that name Giselle, me and Duke told each other everything and I wanted it to stay that way.

  “It’s ok, just don’t lie to me again. No matter how you think I will take it. I apologize babe as well. For a second I doubted who your heart beats for. Never will I do that again.” We kissed and Bella cleared her throat.

  “I hate to interrupt but can we get the rings out that girl pocket so I can go get my man.” Laughing Duke retrieved them, we put them on and headed out to go get Andreas. We survived, no matter what comes our way we will always survive it. My best friend knew the truth about her. My father’s demons he left behind tried to surface but failed. I had the love of my life next to me for all eternity.

  “Are you sure about this Faye?” Duke asked me as we pulled up in front of Liv and Maurice house. Since we decided to become honest about everything. I told him how I had been making Bella join me on stake outs. He then told me he knew the woman I was talking about because when he went to my dad office.

  “I’m sure, just glad you’re here with me.” We interlocked fingers and he kissed my hand.

  “Where else would I be beautiful, I go where you go.” Smiling at him I kissed his lips a few times before we got out the car.

  “If she trips out, I’ll demand her. If she gets rude then I’ll eat her.” I looked at him quick as if I had whiplash. He wasn’t smiling or even had a hint of laughter on his face. I relay hope it doesn’t come to that. I took a deep breath and knocked on the door. After the second knock I could hear her coming and Maurice was with her. When she opened the door and saw me her mouth slightly opened.

  “Hi, I’m---”

  “I know who you are Faye, those blue eyes tell it all.” Still looking at each other Maurice smiled at me.

  “I apologize for popping up on you. I uh, I just um.” What the hell Faye. Liv gave me a closed mouth smile.

  “Would the two of you like to come in?” Me and Duke walked in hand in hand. Liv home was really nice, spacious and Maurice toys were out. It was cozy and smelled like a happy home.

  “This is my husband Duke.” They shook hands and his sexy smile made me smile as well. Sitting down in her living room she turned the TV down some.

  “I’m not here for any reason negative. But when I found out about you and seen his blue eyes I just had to meet you both. I confessed to her.

  “I didn’t plan on a relationship with your father. I knew it was wrong but it happened and I fell in love. He wasn’t the kindest man but he was good to me in more ways financial. Me and Maurice were always well taken care of and I want you to know I never once told him to leave his wife or family. I knew my position and Maurice’s as well. That’s why he doesn’t know him as his father, I wouldn’t let them meet.” Wow, I was surprised and clearly Duke was to.

  “Seriously?” I asked because I just couldn’t believe it.

  “Yes, I’ve shown him pictures and he really did want to meet him. But my son doesn’t need to be a secret or a part-time son to anyone. He’s young and doesn’t know what’s going on. When he’s older I�
��ll tell him his dad died but that’s it.”

  “I completely understand.” Looking at my baby brother playing with his trucks I smiled at him again and looked at Liv. “I don’t have any more family, outside of my husband. I would…… I mean if it’s ok with you.” Grinning big Liv nodded her head.

  “Faye you can be in Maurice life, I have no problem with that. I thought when I saw you that this was going in a whole other direction. But I was wrong and he needs the other part of him in his life. He’s innocent in my bad choices and his father’s.”

  I let out a sigh of relief when she said that. I was so nervous about today but I felt so good finally letting it happen. Things worked out in my favor and I couldn’t be happier. Liv and I exchanged numbers, we had a little lunch and she showed me around her home. Duke played with Maurice so well that it warmed my heart. After we said our good-byes, we left Liv house hand in hand the same way we came.

  “Well that went very good, I’m so excited on getting to know Maurice. Seems like she’s raising him well.”

  “Sure does, he looks just like your baby pictures. I’m just glad I didn’t have to eat her.” I laughed and nudged his arm as he drove us home.

  Annabella

  “Are you serious right now?” I laughed when Andreas jumped in our massive king size bed as a wolf. I was writing in my journal and out of nowhere he came jumping through the window of our balcony. It has been a few days since all the drama with Gabe, Luna and Robin. How in the world do two innocent looking people step in our lives. Present themselves one way when in reality they have dangerous motives. I’m talking beyond causing drama, they want you to suffer and eventually die.

  Knowing what I am and how much power I can harness. I am more comfortable, I have no fear or doubt in me. My blood, hybrid blood, was the reason Andreas had visions when he had a taste of my blood. When my gift stopped and I couldn’t see anything. It was all my doing. I was pushing my true self out because of my fear and worry. Now, I thrived on being a hybrid and not because of the power. But because of my mother. I could get to her anytime. Channel her energy and anyone else who is at peace.

  I loved it, my heart wasn’t selfish and I was pure. I understood this was indeed a gift and could get stripped from me easily so I wasn’t selfish with it. I didn’t harbor any greedy deceit as Robin. Love making with Andreas was more intense as well. According to him I had a rare smell to my blood. Tasting it was intoxicating and he couldn’t get enough. It was the same with me when I tasted him. I was high and loved the feel of him going down my throat. I had mastered in control and I was loving it.

  Feeding was no problem anymore for me and Andreas. I mean, I still didn’t wasn’t to see him feeding on women and he didn’t want to see me feed on men. But I wasn’t kicking his ass when I knew he did. Everything was great with my dad, he’s enjoying his home and even dating. I loved seeing him happy and I still hadn’t told him about me. I just feel like it isn’t the right time. It may not make sense to some but it makes sense to me. We’ll have that talk because I know it’s a must. But right now, I just wanted him to get his life back. Laugh, joke around he be his normal self.

  “Ewww baby stop.” Andreas had licked my thighs and tried to nozzle up between them. He transformed back to his normal form. I had a short silk negligee on and my hair in a low ponytail. It was March but still cold outside so I had the fireplace lit.

  “You smell so good.” His husky deep voice spoke as he inhaled my scent on my thigh. My left leg was flat on the bed and my right one was on top of his forearm. I loved his full scruffy beard because it looked hard but it was so soft. His deep dark skin, white teeth and big hands made me melt. When he opened his eyes to look at me I rubbed my fingers through his short hair.

  “How was your run?” I asked him because he did that every night.

  “It felt good, I cleared my head and got some air.” His hand was going up and down on my thigh causing me to grind lightly.

  “That’s great.” I closed my notebook and put it on the nightstand. “I missed you when you were gone.”

  “Really, how much.” I was grinding a little more now because his fingers grazed my clit. My breathing picked up and I knew Andreas did to. Our eyes changed at the same time when I moved my negligee in the middle exposing my breast. I gasped when his fangs popped out and his fingers went inside of me. Grinding on them I leaned my head back just as his fangs punctured my right thigh.

  “Ugh yesss baby, yesss.” I moaned and came all on his fingers.

  “Are you nervous?” Looking at Andreas I already knew his answer but I wanted to know if he would be honest with me.

  “As hell. Did you talk to Faye?”

  “Yup, she knows and believes everything will be ok. I do to baby.” I rubbed the side of his face and kissed his lips. “I love you ok, relax and have faith.” He nodded his head at me and I gave him one more kiss before Duke and Faye walking in our part of the house. We were in the sitting room.

  “Aw shit, who we got coming after us now?” Duke looked at all of us and said. I laughed at him and shook my head.

  “No Duke we are fine. It’s nothing bad in fact it’s a gift. One of the things I learned about being a hybrid is I can contact the dead. Well, not all of the dead but the ones who have peace.” He looked lost so I reached out my hand.

  “Take it babe, we’ll be here when you get back.” Faye gave him a warm smile and told him. He put my hand in mine and just like that we were in 1840. Looking at Duke I said.

  ‘Just watch and listen.” We turned towards the people in the house.

  “Robin, I don’t think this will work.” My mother started crying and holding Alex head in her lap. Andreas and Linda were out cold in the circle they had them standing in the middle of to do the spell.

  “It will work out fine. Andreas is the only one who drunk the blood. When he wakes up, he will be a vampire. I’m taking his body to our house, kill them both and hang them in the tree out back.” We watched Robin lift him up with the strength of ten men and carry him out of the house.

  “Esther I can’t do this, it’s not right.” Looking my mom in her eyes. She was like a scared, helpless little girl. When she revealed this to Andreas I didn’t go with them so I was seeing this for the first time myself.

  “Tamara shut up and do what she says. God all you do is cry and doubt, now do what she says.” Tamara looked down at my son, and she kissed her forehead. She stood up holding a knife ready to stab him, but she stopped.

  “Esther, we don’t have to do this. I can do a duplicator spell and----”

  “Just shut your weak ass up and do it. You’re too weak and scary to perform any spell on your own.” Esther had evil in her eyes as if she was Robin’s twin. My mama was just like she said, weak and scared. Esther came down with her knife in Linda’s heart.

  “What the hell are you waiting for. Kill him!” My mom raised the knife and hesitated.

  “NOW!!” Esther yelled.

  “Ahh!” She brought the knife down but in Esther's stomach. She raised it and stabbed her over and over.

  “I’m not weak! I’m not weak!” Me and Duke stood there shocked watching this. She stood frozen watching with tears running down her face. She looked down at her dead sister and then looked at Linda.

  “I’m sorry.” She mumbled to Andreas wife.

  “This is when my mama’s bravery started. For the first time, she knew how powerful she was.” We went back and watched what happened next. She stood in the middle of the room and did a duplicator spell. There were now two sets of her, Esther, Linda and Alex bodies. She made Esther and Linda’s dead body fade away. The scene looked so real. We watched the duplicate Esther and Tamara stab my wife and son in the heart like Robin told them too. She took Andreas son still sleeping body and hid in the closet. Robin came back and was happy that Esther and my mom did what she said.

  “I’m sorry sisters, but this needs to look real.” She stood outside and ripped both her sis
ter's hearts out. Their body hit the floor, and by the time Robin dropped their hearts next to them, she was gone.

  “Where are we now?” Duke asked me looking worried. “I’ve never heard this story about Andreas and his wife before. I see why he keeps it to himself. What happened to his son?”

  “Just look.” I told him and her watched the rest of the vision. My mom had Alex in her arms walking through the woods until she got to another house far from where the curse happened. Knocking on the door, a couple answered.

  “That’s my mother.” Duke said out loud looking confused.

  “Is this him?” The woman asked taking his son out my mama’s arms.

  “Yes, this is him. He’s a good boy, and his parents were killed.” She gave the woman some money.

  “Take care of him, and he will grow to love you like a mother and father.” We stood there watching and Duke was frozen as he stared on.

  “Come on.” I grabbed his hand so we could leave.

  “Wait where are we going?” I smiled at him and said.

  “We’re almost done.” The next vision was Andreas busting in this house that these white men were in. They were beating and raping Duke’s mom. Andreas came in and practically ate them up. Moving with vamp speed to the back he bust in the other room where this white man was holding a little, Duke, by his neck. After we watched Andreas kill him, he looked at Duke in the corner scared and helpless.

  “On this day, Andreas got his humanity back. He had no idea who you were but something connected between you two and he had to save you.” I told him as we watched Andreas walk over to a young Duke and kneeled down to talk to him.

  “Last thing and we can go,”

  I wanted to walk Duke through him and Andreas entire life. When he had his first crush, his first-time having sex. All the arguments they had when Duke thought he knew more than Andreas.
