Burning Desire

by Ami Snow

She moaned and then she did the best thing ever. Her tiny hand gripped my hair holding my face against her. The demand was there. She was forcing me to pleasure her and my heart skipped a beat. I wanted to do whatever she wanted. I was hers to command. Desire raged through my body and I sped up quickly tasting her and continued. Lick, nibble, suck, and repeat over and over again until she screamed my name. When she was a quivering mess I stood wiping my mouth before I dragged her to the floor. She was limp and sprawled out from her orgasm. I scanned her body with a thrill I hadn’t felt since before. My heart raced and I felt emotions building, and for once I didn’t fear them. She wasn’t like her, and even though I barely knew the woman who laid sprawled before me, I knew she wanted me like I wanted her; even if she hadn’t come out and said it. Here body language said it all. This was more than a good fuck. I’d be making love to her—now.

I slid my body over hers enjoying the feel of her soft skin against mine. I loved that she wasn’t all skin and bones. I looked into her eyes and smiled. This woman was mine. I could have everything I wanted and Angel James wouldn’t go anywhere without me now. I couldn’t wait to have her to myself for four days in a hotel. Work and play. Life just got better.

“I’ll be careful, but it’s going to hurt.”

  “I know. I’m a virgin not stupid.”

I kissed her lips quick. “Sassy woman.”

  “Take it or leave it.”

“I’ll take it baby.” Then as I slowly eased inside I watched her face paying attention to any sort of discomfort. She was fine at first, but then she tensed. I knew I was close then. “Deep breaths.”

Her eyes filled with tears as I tore through her hymn, and my heart clenched. She cried out and her body locked up. “I’m sorry Angel.”

She bit her lip nodding. “I don’t fucking cry dammit.”

I kissed her and at first she stayed tense, but after a few seconds she let go and closed her eyes kissing me back. Her hand slid through my hair before she interlaced her hands around my neck. The feel of her beasts against my chest and the feel of her inner muscles contracting around me had me so close. I hadn’t even moved yet and I was about to lose it. It was ridiculous. When her legs loosened and the rest of her body calmed down I pulled out to my tip and then pushed back in slowly.

She gasped and pulled back from our kiss. When she opened her eyes I locked gazes with her. She was beautiful. Her cheeks were flushed and her lips were red from my kisses. Her eyes were relaxed, dilated with lust that matched my own. I took her on the floor, and she met every thrust and when I came she did too. It was the single best moment of my life, and I was a goner.

  Chapter Seven

Angel couldn’t decide if she was stupid or not. She’d just given her virginity to her boss. After so long of never finding a man attractive she gave into him easy. Was she ashamed? Maybe. Did she regret it? No. Would she do it again? Not sure. So many emotions ran through her mind, and she wondered if this was how all women felt when they lost their innocence.

Grayson lay next to her and watched her silently. He seemed to be observing her waiting for something. What she wasn’t sure. Hell, she wasn’t sure what she felt. She ached, but it was nothing she couldn’t ignore. At least while she was on the floor. Standing up would probably be another story. He didn’t say anything, but his eyes seemed to be begging her to speak, but she couldn’t.

Angel was levelheaded, she always thought things through, but this—this she didn’t. She sat up and stood slowly cringing when the full effect of having him tear into her kicked in. Her body throbbed and she was wobbly. She reached out and braced her hand on the desk and whimpered. Grayson stood and went to touch her but she recoiled. She didn’t miss the hurt that clouded his pale green eyes.

“I’m fine; I just need to get cleaned up.” Her voice was tense, and she prayed she’d make it to the bathroom before she broke down into tears.

“Let me help you baby,” he said and there was a catch in his voice.

She nodded and gripped his arm as he led her to the bathroom. Then he went and got all of her clothes bringing them to her.

“Can I get you anything else?”

“Nope, I just need to be alone now.”

He nodded but was clearly unhappy. “Okay I’ll be in my office just holler if you need me.”

Angel felt bad. She wasn’t angry with him. He was gentle and he was caring. She was unsure, and she was in pain. She locked the door and slid against it to the floor ignoring the pain that tore through her body. Sobs wracked her body, and she did her best to be silent knowing he’d hear her.

“Buck up Angel,” she whispered to herself and then pulled herself off of the ground. She was stronger than that. Taking slow steps she took care of business and gingerly slid her panties back on and got dressed. There wasn’t much she could do until she got home, but she wanted to clean up her tears. It was bad enough she cried, but she didn’t like the puffy red eyes.

She also didn’t want to make him feel worse. She got lucky. A lot of men wouldn’t have been that sweet, and she could tell how hard it was for him to take it slow with her. As if he was so aroused he wanted to drive into her. He could have very easily taken to his pleasure only, but he made sure she enjoyed it, and in truth once the pain went away for that few minutes she had enjoyed it, very much. It was the after that wasn’t so fun.

Angel composed herself and smiled. She was not a virgin anymore. She walked out of the bathroom and grimaced, but covered it up before she stepped into Grayson’s office. He looked at her frowning.

  “Are you feeling any better?”

“I’m okay really. A good night’s sleep and I’ll be as good as new.”

He didn’t seem convinced, but let it go. “Well let’s get you home. I’ll walk you to your car.”

She nodded and smiled. He was sweet. Sweeter than what she had heard about him, and sweeter than the interview. He didn’t seem so intimidating anymore. She couldn’t help but stare. He was attractive, even more attractive to her now. He guided her out of the office and the feel of his hand on her back reminded her of his touch. She’d really liked his touch.

The office was dark and silent. Everyone had left hours before. She hadn’t even gotten to meet anyone or venture out into the big open area. Grayson opened the door leading her out into the dimly lit parking lot. Her car and his were the only two left and the sound of her heels clicking on the cement echoed loudly in her ears. She pulled her keys out and opened her door.

Grayson stepped back and shoved his hands into his pockets. He watched her and she sighed. He looked terrible. He was a man; shouldn’t he be happy he had gotten off? So far he proved to be different than any man she’d ever met, and he contradicted his reputation.

She stepped in front up him and tipped her head back. “Kiss me.”

His eyes lit and a small smile curved his lips as he leaned in brushing his lips on hers in a soft gentle kiss, but before he was able to pull back Angel stood on the tips off her toes and held him in place as she deepened the kiss. She wanted to show him she was all right. She took the lead and let all her built up passion out. Passion she wasn’t even aware she had. He moaned when she sucked his lip before tangling her tongue with his.

Then he backed her against her car and the tension from his body released. It was almost as if he was worried that she was angry. He seemed too subdued, and it broke her heart. He pulled back and his brows creased. “You’re okay?”

“Yes, I told you I was.” She replied and pecked his lips. “I better go so I get at least a few hours of sleep. I still have to pack.”

Grayson surprised her again by hugging her body to his. He wrapped his arms around her and held her. “Good night baby. I’ll see you in the morning.”

Angel nodded and nibbled her lip. He seemed totally at ease now and that was strange. Was what happened something more than a small office thing? The even bigger question, did she want it to be?

  Chapter Eight
/>   The next morning Angel waited outside of her house so she didn’t have to deal with the twins’ machoism. They knew immediately something was different with her, and as per normal they beat their chests vowing to kill the man who deflowered their baby sister. She laughed and shook her head smacking them both. Then she kindly reminded them she was a grown ass woman and even though it was sweet, she was more than capable of taking care of herself. They grumbled and growled over her being so unappreciative of their loyalty. She sent them to their rooms pouting. It was quite great.

She smiled thinking about the night before. Now that she woke up in barely any pain she could think about things differently. She really liked him, and she planned to take these four days to get to know him. If she was going to be sleeping with him she would insist on knowing him.

The car pulled up right on time and she stood and picked her bags up. Grayson jumped out and frowned. “At least let me try to be a gentleman.”

She beamed and her cheeks tightened from smiling too much. Oh hell, she was one of those girls. She never thought the day would come that she would be giddy over something a man did. She swore she never would be. Apparently sex changed things.

“Morning,” she said and handed her bags to him. When he would have walked away she yanked him back and tipped her head back.

He got the hint and kissed her. She felt his smile against her lips. “I can’t get over this. I haven’t smiled this much in so long. There’s something about you Angel James.”

She kissed him again and nodded. “I feel it too.”

He eyed her cautiously, hopeful. “You do?”

“Yes, it’s early, but I look forward to getting to know you.”

“Me too. I was worried you wouldn’t like me so much today.”

She leaned into him as they walked to his car. “I think I like you better than before.”

“Good to hear baby. Now get your ass into the car so we can get on the road. We’ve got a long drive and a lot to do.”

She nodded and waited for him to open her door before climbing in. It felt like she was going away on a trip with her boyfriend rather than going on a business trip with her boss. She worried her lip wondering how it would work. She knew how to be professional of course, but she wasn’t sure how it would work. When he got in the car he glanced at her and sighed.

“Keep it professional during business and then the rest of the time touch me any way you desire.”

“How’d you know what I was thinking?”

“I guessed, because it was the same thing I was thinking. It’s going to be damn hard to keep my hands off of you though.”

“I’m sure you’ll survive Grayson,” she replied.

He nodded but was clearly unhappy with the restrictions he had to set. She got it, she laid her hand on his thigh and wondered how long they’d be able to keep their new relationship quiet, and what would happen when it came out. Because now that she had him she wasn’t sure she would want things to end. She’d find a new job if she had to. Finally Angel found something she was willing to be selfish about, and didn’t feel one ounce of shame.

  CEO’s Request

  Chapter 1

Starting a new job was just as overwhelming as getting my life back together. Well, I’d never had my life together before so that’s not right. Being someone’s gopher wasn’t exactly my number one career choice, but it was better than being a waitress or working at a fast food joint. Plus the pay was outrageous. I’d never heard of a secretary getting paid as much as I was going to. It was a good thing because I still had some major bills to pay off, and I needed to prove to Ryan I was worthy of him.

His mother already hated me. She looked at me like I was lower class. I was, but that wasn’t the point. Ryan and I had been dating for a few months now. He was a Mama’s boy therefore after the third date he took me home to meet the family. Needless to say I was surprised. He was rich, like filthy rich and handsome. God, I didn’t understand what he saw in me, but I wasn’t about to give him up. I probably only had a limited of time with him, and I was going to take advantage. It wasn’t often the poor girl from the street got the guy.

  “Miss Turner?”

My eyes shot from the floor to the sound of the deepest voice I’d heard. When I saw the man who was my new boss I gulped. He wasn’t what I’d been expecting, and as his green eyes pierced my dark brown ones I stood and did my best to pretend I wasn’t a mess. My legs wobbled as I made my way over to him, and I smiled grateful I had decided to wear flats. I knew heel weren’t my thing.

I stood still as he looked me over and smirked before gesturing for me to follow him. The hairs on my neck stood. What was funny about me? I looked professional. I straightened my shoulders and followed behind him like I belonged, because dammit I did.

“It gets busy around here pretty fast Miss Turner, I certainly hope you pick up instructions fast. I don’t have time to baby you all day.”

I gritted my teeth. So this was how it was going to be. “I think I can handle it.”

He stopped moving so fast I didn’t have time to slow my angry pace before slamming into his back. A wall of muscles. I yelped and his hand shot out and caught my arm before I fell to the ground. The moment his hand wrapped around my bare arm I gasped from his touch. Our eyes met, and for a moment I thought I saw something—nice about him. Until he opened his beautiful mouth and glared at me like I was the one who caused the problem. He’s the one who stopped walking abruptly.

“Watch where you’re going you’re liable to hurt someone.”

Ouch. I yanked my arm from his and held back my retort. I couldn’t lose the job before I started. “Yes, sir I apologize.” I did my best to hold back any sarcasm.

The bit of humor in his eyes told me I’d failed. “Very well, now let’s go before I lose even more time to baby you.”

Wow this dude was a douche. Part of hiring someone new was to train them or so I thought. Hell he wasn’t even training me all he did was lead me to a bare desk with a computer, a giant calendar, and phone on it. He pointed. “Sit.”

Good doggy. I wanted to say it, but I kept my mouth shut and plastered a fake smile on my face.

“Now this is your space, decorate how you want. Women always do.” He waved his hand like I was an annoyance. “Most of the communication is via email. You know how to email correct?”

  Really? “Yes.”

“The phone is obvious. Always take a message. If I don’t answer it by myself by the second ring, that means I don’t want to talk to that person. You answer, are polite, take a GOOD message, and tell them I’ll get back to them. My mother calls frequently, sadly, so basically buzz her through so I don’t get yelled at. She’ll only keep calling until you do. Otherwise that’s it for now. I’ll have contracts and such you need to handle, but until you get a handle on the phone and email stuff I’ll go easy on you.”

Did he always sound so condescending? I mean really he talked to me like I was some illiterate fool. Maybe he thought that was how he was supposed to but I didn’t appreciate him ‘dumbing it down’ for me. “I think I have this.”

“Very well, I’ll let you know what I want for lunch within two hours. I expect it on my desk by 12:30.”

He didn’t give me a chance to respond. Wow. It was no wonder he lost his secretaries quickly. He was an ass, and even though he was nice to look at, his personality and people skills was terrible. This job would be easy. I’d work my ass off following his damn orders and in the end I would pay off all my debt and be home free from my past. Ryan would realize I was worth keeping around.

I logged into the computer, luckily I found the sign in stuff in the planner. I wasn’t looking forward to having any questions. I could only imagine what that would be like. The phone rang once—he answered.

It was a strange set up, but it worked. He seemed to be efficient a
nd I could appreciate that. I could also appreciate a schedule even if I didn’t like being treated like some overpaid servant.

The phone speaker buzzed. “I want a sub today. At E’claires. They all know what I want. Just tell them Aiden Carter.” Then the sound went dead. Okay so apparently I had to go to the sub shop, get his sub, and have it on his desk by 12:30. Easy right? I should have kept my damn thoughts out because nothing in my life ever came easy.

  Chapter 2

I tapped my foot nervously waiting. Glancing at the clock I grimaced. I had a total of ten minutes left to get his sub back to him on time. Of course this damn shop would be super freaking busy at the time he expected lunch. I would be sure to leave much earlier the next time—if I had a next time. I could be fired for this. Something told me he lived on a tight schedule for a reason. Or he could have just been an ass to be an ass. Who knew with men like him?

  “Aiden Carter.”

“Finally,” I grumbled and pushed my curvy body through the line of people. For real, they needed to move.

“Watch it fatty,” some man said, and I cringed doing the best I could to ignore the jab.

I yanked the sub and tried to smile. “Thanks.”

Then I barreled through the people no longer caring about their snide remarks, and there were a lot of them. Couldn’t people just keep their mouths closed if they couldn’t be nice? Apparently not. I strode through the door and walked as fast as I could. Sweat slid down my back and I shrugged. I had only minutes to get his lunch to him on time, and I had a feeling he still would have something to say. I jogged, even though running and I didn't get along. By the time I got back to the office I could hardly breathe as I ran up the stairs knowing it would take longer to wait on the elevator.
