by Hally Willmott

“Thank you, Herecerti. There was a time when I thought there was only going to be me and Hudson against the world. I’ve learned from what’s been revealed here today, we all begin and end with family. Who’s to say this journey is going to be any different from the one that brought us here? God knows that without my family, I never would have made it.”

Jen, Hudson, Aunt Grace, and I left the Inception Chamber and headed into the inner sanctum of Nemele. Full of hope, completely trusting in our beliefs that we were doing the right thing, and all deep in our own thoughts about what had been revealed and what was to come. I was without question thankful I had some answers to the questions about my family and newfound powers, but I was more aware than ever that this was only the beginning—the beginning of a new world, life, and adventure for all of us.

  ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS:

Would I be the first to say I Googled it? I don’t think so. I was at a loss when I received the e-mail telling me I needed a dedication page and acknowledgement page. After some soulful searching I realized my dedication would be to ones who have had to put up with me day in and day out – God and my family . My acknowledgements would be for those whom I trusted to be forthright and honest….here goes –

The first person I thought of was Aunt Ester. You my dear Aunt were the one who put up with being inundated with e-mail after e-mail of unedited work. You were the ‘push’ I needed to continue when I thought ‘Why am I doing this?’ I need to thank you and apologize at the same time – Thank you for your honesty and direction and I am truly sorry for the that’s, really’s, like’s and redundancies you read and still persevered through. I love you.

The following are the ones I truly believed helped me to develop my characters and my writing – Ghost reader’s – you know who you are – but - who doesn’t like seeing their name in a published (Yeah!) book-

Christy (my niece) love you, Shelia my friend I thank you, ‘M’ seriously I will never call you Emilia, Bonnie my New York voice who taught me how to cut the jewellery, Brenda my aura’s will always be in your sight, Jen… okay yes – Jen in the book is written after you – Imagine that! Joann, you are a beautiful woman inside and out – never forget that! Todd, even though I was very leery about you reading it, I was more leery about your critique mainly because I knew you’d be truthful – thank you. Stephanie, you are a beautiful young woman with a great head on your shoulders and a smile that lights up any room. Paul, you were the reason I changed the beginning – Cheryl, I know you’re still waiting for the rest of it – but what you’ve read so far – thank you. April – an honest opinion is what I knew you would give and I thank you my friend for giving it (I know, you didn’t get it all but hey – it’s coming out soon). Jen and Jen’s mom – thank you for not thinking I was nuts when I ‘pushed’ my book on you. Kevin, thank you for saying I had moments of brilliance and moments of WTH (What the heck’s – it is YA). Di – I know you haven’t finished it yet – but your support is heart warming and humbling.

Liz. There are no words I can say that would be able to relate exactly how I feel about your unconditional love – who wouldn’t love a mother in law like that :) I am blessed. Mom – thank you for the ‘shove’ in the right direction. Thank you for buying me every book I asked for and for telling me I was good – even when others told me I sucked. Jennifer, no one could ask for a more supportive, fiery sister – I love you.

Gerry – Thank you for loving me as a father should (Even though you don’t have to :) ).

To my brother Jason (Hudson) – you cried when I told you I received a contract – I can NEVER tell you how very much your love and support means to me.

Dad – thank you for instilling the work ethic I have and will never loose.

Jennifer O’Neill, Dixie O’Neill – THANK YOU – for taking a chance on an unknown author who only needed one yes. With Limitless I feel Limitless.

My editor… Toni - you make me sound good and I love that you’re in my head. And finally – the Limitless Publishing team and family of writers – the support and guidance I have received from everyone from day one has been amazing!
