Grabbing the lamp off the nightstand, I threw it at his head. When he ducked, I jumped off the bed and ran up on him, swinging.
“You a disrespectful ass nigga. I fuckin’ hate you!” I yelled at him as I punched harder. Grabbing me by my neck, Blaze slapped me once, then twice before throwing me on the bed.
“I don’t give a fuck! Bitch, you ain’t special. Yo ass ain’t shit but a quick nut. Another piece of pussy, that’s all yo ass gon’ ever be to me.” The harsh reality of his words had a lump forming in my throat and my eyes burning as they began to water.
Licking my lips, a laugh left my mouth as my eyes locked with his.
“I hate you and I wish I hadn’t stopped him.” At that moment I wished I didn’t stop him from getting shot.
“You say that now, but you just like every other dumb bitch I fuck. Desperate and thirsty for a nigga to lie to you that good shit then fuck you like he mean it.” He spat on my floor as he looked at me like I wasn’t nothing,
I bit hard into my bottom lip as I nodded my head, but that didn’t stop the tears from falling and rolling down my cheeks.
“Get out,” my voice was calm, but I was anything but. Without another word he turned around and walked out of my room, seconds later I heard the front door slam shut. I wasn’t gon’ break down, I was better than that.
My shoulders shook violently as my chest heaved up and down. Tears silently rolled down my cheeks non-stop. I curled into my covers without a sound, just letting water fall from my eyes.
Blaze wasn’t worth it.
