“That sounds really nice,” Elu replied. “She seems like she favors you.”

  Xander shrugged.

“She seems to like you, too,” he said.

“Yeah, I guess so. I wouldn't want to step on your game though,” Elu said.

“No, you were fine. I actually really liked having her between us,” Xander admitted.

“Yeah? I thought it was pretty hot,” Elu commented.

“You think she'll accept the invitation?” Xander asked, reaching for his phone that was sitting on the bedside table.

“Only one way to find out, right?” Elu replied.

“Yeah. I'm just nervous,” Xander said.

“You shouldn't be. She totally likes you,” Elu said.

“It would be good for our day off. We could check out the ridge and maybe take a hike,” Xander explained as he opened up his messaging app.

He scrolled down to Anna Leigh's name and typed out a text before setting his phone back down on the table. It vibrated almost immediately, causing his stomach to flip. Elu motioned towards the phone with a grin.

  “Well?” he asked.

Xander smiled and shook his head, picking his phone back up and looking at the response. It said, “Sure, I'd love that!” His smile widened.

“I'll take that as a yes,” Elu said. “Awesome. I'll make a basket for us.”

Xander nodded, his heart racing from the excitement.

“You really think she'll like it?” Xander asked.

“Of course,” Elu replied. “Why wouldn't she?”

  Xander shrugged with a smile.

As Elu stood from the bed, a knock came from the door. He looked at Xander who shrugged and then walked to the door to open it. Anna Leigh stood on the other side with a vase full of synthetic flowers, a little white bag in her hand.

“Hey,” she said. “How's Xander doing?”

Elu stepped aside to let her in and she walked to the bed, her heels clicking against the tile floor.

  “I'm doing fine,” he said.

“That's good. I figured I would bring you something to cheer you up,” she said while setting down the vase. “These were made in a laboratory on the other side of the compound. Dr. Marques is great with synthetics. They never die.”

“That's so kind of you,” Xander said, reaching over to caress the soft petals. “It's really quiet a work of art.”

Anna Leigh smiled and sat on the bed, taking Xander's face between her hands and checking his eyes.

“You look like you're doing alright,” she said.

Elu was still standing near the door. He pointed at it and raised his eyebrows. Xander shook his head. Confused, Anna Leigh turned around to look at Elu who shoved his hands in his pockets nervously.

“I think I need to go take a shower,” he said while heading for the door.

“I understand,” she said. “I'll see you tomorrow, Elu.”

Elu smiled and waved, then exited the room. Anna Leigh turned back to Xander who lifted the ice pack and placed it back on his head.

“Would you like me to stay?” she asked.

Xander smiled, looking down at his pants where an erection was poking up against the fabric. He quickly grabbed his blanket to hide it.

“Yeah, that would be great,” he said.

As Anna Leigh curled up with him on the bed, he timidly wrapped an arm around her and sighed.

“I'm sorry I smell like the mine,” he said with a chuckle.

“No, it's fine. Really,” she said. “The guys in the nurse station smell pretty bad, too.”

“So, I smell bad?” Xander asked.

“Oh, no. I didn't mean that,” Anna Leigh said quickly.

  Xander laughed.

  “I'm just kidding,” he said.

Anna Leigh shook her head with a smile.

“You're silly. I like that,” she said. “You sure you don't mind me staying? I just want to keep an eye on you.”

“Of course not,” he said. “Stay as long as you want.”

“It's beautiful out here,” Elu commented.

A lush landscape appeared in the distance, a reprieve from the usual purple dust that settled on their clothes after a long day mining. Elu took a deep breath of the oxygen-rich air and exhaled loudly, readjusting the satchel on his shoulder.

“Absolutely,” Anna Leigh said. “I really needed this and I'm glad my boss gave me the day off.”

“We're glad, too,” Xander said, inhaling from a pen.

  “What's that?” Elu asked.

“It's one of those pens with flavors. You want to try it?” he asked.

“Sure,” Elu replied while holding out his hand. “What's the flavor?”

“It's eucalyptus,” Xander said as Elu took a drag.

Elu coughed and handed the pen back to him.

“Oh, wow. That's a bit strong. What's in it?” Elu asked.

“It's just flavoring. It's supposed to have a calming effect,” Xander said. “I like it. I also have lavender and vanilla.”

“I have a vanilla pen back in my room. It's one of my favorite things to smoke after a long day,” Anna Leigh said.

  “Oh, I bet,” Xander said.

“Lavender sounds like it would be heavenly,” Elu commented.

  “It is,” Xander said.

“There's the ridge over there,” said Anna Leigh while pointing ahead. Elu smiled.

“We should see what's on the other side,” he suggested.

The three walked up the small path and started climbing. Xander reached down to help Anna Leigh climb over a rock. Anna Leigh smiled and continued walking up the trail until they reached a small clearing tucked away between some trees. A steaming hot spring beckoned for them to take a dip and Elu immediately began removing his shoes. Xander knelt down to inspect the water, dipping his fingers into it.

  “Looks nice,” Anna Leigh said.

  “Feels nice,” he commented.

“We should jump in,” Elu said while peeling off his shirt.

Anna Leigh blushed, covering her red lips with a green hand.

“I'm a little hungry, actually,” Xander admitted.

“We can always eat first,” Elu said while setting down his satchel. “What would you like?”

“How about some baked chicken and mashed potatoes?” Xander asked.

“Now that sounds heavenly,” Anna Leigh said while taking a seat next to Xander.

  Xander nodded excitedly.

“Coming right up, my friends,” Elu said as he set out a blanket for them to sit.

While Elu set up the capsules with water, Xander grabbed two plates from his bag. He set out a couple of water bottles and then took another drag of his pen while watching Elu work. As soon as the food was ready, Xander helped set it out on plates and they dug in immediately, nodding as they chewed the delicious hot food.

“This is amazing. Thank you,” Xander said between bites of chicken.

“It's very fresh,” said Anna Leigh.

“Thank the company for that,” Elu said. “These are the capsules we get weekly.”

They ate quietly. A silence formed between them as they finished eating. They wiped their hands on their clothes before taking swigs of water.

“Ready for the spring?” Elu asked while standing.

He started removing his pants and Xander stared, seeming to be frozen in his sitting position. Anna Leigh stood without hesitation and began to strip down.

“Yeah, of course,” Xander said quickly as he stood up.

While Anna Leigh peeled off her shirt, Elu admired the slim form hiding underneath. Sweat glistened on her upper chest. He sighed heavily, wanting desperately to reach over and touch her. It was nearly uncontrollable until Anna Leigh's face came into view. He pulled his hand back and smiled shyly. Within moments, Xander's pants were on the ground and the three were carefully wading into the hot spring while hissing.

  Elu groaned.

  “This feels amazing,” he s
aid as he sank down into the water. “It's definitely what I needed.”

  “Me, too,” Xander said.

“How's your head feeling?” Anna Leigh asked, reaching over to push the black hair from his face.

“It's much better. Thanks,” Xander replied.

  “I'm glad,” she said.

Their eyes locked. Xander held his breath as he studied the swirls of galaxies hiding in the eyes staring right back. They seemed to glisten with desire, his own body responding immediately to the stimulation. When Xander looked away, Anna Leigh scooted closer and reached out to trace the bare neck that she desperately wanted to kiss. Xander sighed contentedly, closing his eyes as she ran a finger up the length of his neck to his ear.

The rumble of space ships roared overhead and they both looked up at the sky. As the ships passed, Elu took the moment to place a kiss on her temple where his lips lingered for a moment. Anna Leigh didn't pull away. Silence fell over them again and she turned to look at Elu who was nearly panting.

“Can I kiss you?” Elu asked.

  “Yes.”

Their lips collided, a haze of stars filling Elu's vision as they kissed. Elu sighed as Anna Leigh took his lower lip and nibbled on it, reaching down under the water to caress his firm, flat stomach. She took hold of his erect member and stroked it gently, eliciting moans from the lips she was occupying.

Xander scooted in close to Anna Leigh and ran a hand over her thigh, tracing the skin all the way up to her supple breast. He circled the nipple with a finger, eliciting moans from her lips as she kissed Elu. Anna Leigh began to massage Elu's hard cock while Xander laid kisses on her neck, tracing the delicate skin that was warm and pliant from the hot spring. Elu gasped, and leaned his head back against the smooth rock with lips parted. The brutal strength of their passion indicated years of sexual tension, all of it exploding between them at once.

Another stroke sent Elu into a spasm, shivering in the warm water they occupied as Anna Leigh's lips marked the skin under his chin. Xander slipped a finger over her feminine portal, parting the lips and plunging inside. She shivered hard and moaned, the silky skin trembling in her hand as she pumped harder. Elu lifted his head and dove for another kiss as his hand worked diligently to massage her breast. He paused for a moment and stood, pulling Anna Leigh up from the water with him.

“Turn around,” he whispered while guiding her.

She followed his direction and pulled Xander out of the water, having him stand in front of her. His cock was rigid with desire. She slipped Xander's cock into her mouth as Elu traced Anna Leigh's vulva with his fingers. He kissed the small of her back and then slowly eased his cock into her flower, relishing the soft moan that escaped her lips. He gripped her hips and squeezed the delicate skin while slipping in and out, groaning as her portal tightened around his rigid member.

Xander groaned, leaning his head back in a state of bliss. Anna Leigh's lips trailed down the length of his shaft and then back up, sucking lightly on the head. A hand circled around her neck and gripped her hair as she sucked harder, her head bobbing up and down as she pleasured the beautiful earthling occupying her mouth.

Incapable of controlling himself, Xander rocked his hips into her mouth and groaned louder, each stroke causing him to surrender to the red lips that beckoned his release. His stomach and thighs tensed, signaling for her to suck faster. Fingers tangled into her hair and she gripped the base of Xander's cock, her hand and mouth moving in tandem. Another cry escaped his lips and she moaned as Xander quivered.

Behind her, Elu plowed into her flowery depths, rocking her body as she sucked dutifully on Xander's cock. She bayed loudly as he thrust deeper and smacked her bottom, green skin twitching with every plow. Xander's eyes were half-closed. He was biting his lower lip and gripping Anna Leigh's hair as she sucked harder, causing him to hiss.

While gripping her hips, Elu grunted and gritted his teeth, a tugging sensation growing in his gut as he peaked. Anna Leigh shivered, her arms growing weak as her climax approached. Another bay escaped her lips and she gripped the base of Xander's cock while pulling back, crying out as her orgasm came in drugging waves.

  “I'm about to–”

Sweet, salty liquid coated her tongue as Xander shook violently. Elu held Anna Leigh's thighs in place as she came, pulling out in order to decorate her green skin with white, creamy seed. Anna Leigh swallowed every single drop of the come that entered her mouth. She leaned back to look up at Xander and smiled, wiping the remaining come from her lips. Panting with a grin on his face, Xander leaned down to kiss her and knocked them all back into the warm water. It relieved their aching muscles as they kissed and chuckled, wrapping their arms around each other while panting.

“That was amazing,” Xander whispered. “I can't believe your mouth can do that.” Anna Leigh chuckled and planted a kiss on his lips as Elu encircled them in a hug.

“We can do that again later if you want,” Elu teased.

“Oh, don't tempt me,” Anna Leigh whispered. “I might like that.”

“Are you ready to go back or should we stay a little longer?” Elu asked.

“I think I like it here. Can we stay until dinner?” Anna Leigh asked in response.

“I second that vote,” Xander said.

“Of course. Anything you want,” Elu replied.

“I never thought I'd say this, but this is the most natural feeling. It feels strange, but also... comforting,” Xander explained.

“Me, too,” Anna Leigh added. “I couldn't imagine being swept off my feet by two men, but I love it.”

Elu smiled wide, pressing his blue forehead into Anna Leigh's shoulder. They sat in the hot spring for a few more minutes and soaked up the heat until they grew thirsty and stepped out. After drying off, they pulled on their clothes, and then lay down for a nap. After an early dinner, before it got too dark, they hiked back to the log station where the three of them curled up in Elu's bed and slipped into a satisfied slumber.

“I feel like those guys are staring at us,” Xander said while pulling out a metal case.

“Don't mind them,” Elu said while loading the black coax crystals. “They're just jealous.”

“I don't think it's that,” Xander said, concern filling his voice. “I think they're judging us.”

“For what?” Elu asked, his eyes focused on the task at hand.

He loaded up the case and closed it, wiping his hands on his pants like he usually did. He stood and placed the metal case carefully into his satchel as Xander pulled out a smaller case, looking around to see if the alien workers were still watching. Their backs were turned. He set the case on the ground and procured his own tool for transferring the crystals, placing a few in the case.

  “What's that for?” Elu asked.

“A little extra for our vacation,” Xander replied.

“What do you mean?” he asked again.

“It's just extra for the road, boss. I have a buyer across the way who will pay double for this and no middle man to take out taxes,” Xander explained. “But don't worry about it. Nobody has ever noticed.”

“I don't know, Xan. It doesn't seem like a good idea. I don't think the Federation would like this,” Elu warned.

“Screw the Federation. This isn't anything unwarranted. Just a little retirement funding, alright?” Xander assured him. “Besides, don't you want to have a good vacation? We could go somewhere even nicer than Urska Valley.”

Elu shrugged and stood up from the ground.

“Well, let's move quickly. I don't want to get into trouble,” Elu warned.

“We're not going to get into trouble,” Xander said.

“Do you know how much they'll fine you for that? A hefty 100 million units and a long prison term. This isn't a joke,” Elu said.

“You're such a prude,” Xander joked.

  Elu rolled his eyes.

“Alright. Well, don't cry to me when you get arrested,” Elu said with his hands in the air.
I'm heading back with our loot.”

“Hey, wow,” Xander said. “What's got your pants in a bunch?”

  Elu sighed.

“Nothing. I swear. I'm just really tired and I want to get back for lunch,” Elu replied. “Anna Leigh said she would meet with us.”

“You must be hangry,” Xander teased while carefully placing his satchel over his shoulder.

  “What is that?” Elu groaned.

“It's hungry and angry combined,” Xander explained.

  Elu chuckled and shrugged.

“I guess that's what I am,” he said.

A smile crossed his lips as they walked back to the entrance of the mine, Elu patting Xander's back.

“Do you think they saw us in the hot spring?” Xander asked.

“I don't think so. Why?” Elu asked.

“Because those alien workers were really staring us down. I'd hate for us to be judged for having a thing with Anna Leigh,” Xander replied.

“I'm used to being under scrutiny,” Elu commented.

“What do you mean?” Xander asked.

Elu remained quiet as they walked to the log station, shoving his hands in his pockets when Xander turned to him.

  “Elu, explain,” he said.

“It's nothing. I'm just saying that people are going to judge us regardless of what we do, you know?” Elu said.

“I guess so, but I'm just worried about what it might lead to,” Xander said.

“Lead to what? Happiness? The only thing we could do is be happy from here,” Elu said as they entered the log station. “Let's get our crystals documented and then grab some food.”

“Alright,” Xander said while placing his satchel on the counter.

“How many?” asked the green woman behind the counter.

“Ten,” Elu replied, placing the metal box on the counter.

Xander stood nervously next to Elu, who didn't mention the box hiding in his satchel. When the woman was done documenting the crystals, she transferred them to a metal container behind her with warning stickers all over it. She pushed a button and the metal container disappeared beneath the ground where it would be transported to a separation facility.

“Full bars, gentleman,” she said. “Nice job this week. Enjoy your break.”
