"There are myriad small actions all over the world but I believe we are nearing the end of this chapter in our history."

As Ali reported, I actually felt like I knew everything already or heard it before. I made a note, or more accurately, I simply put a thought out for Zheng to help me work this out.

"Thanks, Son. I will take on fuel in Marrakesh tomorrow evening. If you can come up, let's have a coffee,"

  "Roger, wilco, Baba."

The Citation started its descent toward our airfield. We would be on the ground shortly. Jackson met us at the hanger. We all took the sleek Italian chopper from there. For whatever reason, the Italians have always had great design skills. This helicopter was a magnificent example of a "flying Ferrari."

The view from the air showed a lot of activity on the grounds. Mostly, it was people enjoying themselves. I could pick out the security personnel, who weren't obvious to the untrained eye. They included numbers of my men with Stinger missiles guarding the ramparts. Jackson leaned over and told me they would have at least one drone covering the area, day and night, for the duration of Conference.

We landed lightly in one of the larger courtyards. The Guardians, in full Berber dress, jumped out first. Cristina and I followed. We strolled toward the Castle, pausing to greet early attendees, many of whom were long-time friends and acquaintances.

There seemed to be a festive atmosphere amongst the guests, as if this was a gala social affair rather than the founding of a new continental government. This was heady business. Cristina was in a rush to see how Bao was coming along. She went ahead while I took time to greet everyone, personally. That is how we do things in Latin America and perhaps they should be done like that worldwide.

I went to my study and had some Grand Marnier on the rocks while I sat in front of a crackling fire made from coffee wood. The aroma was enchanting. Zheng came into my mind. He guided me to a place there that I never knew existed. I really wasn't sure if this was an internal or external event.

He called it a 'locus' where specific neural events interacted. "Uncle, in this place, which you now know how to access, you will find all of the experiences of your Twin. I should tell you that there is a third copy, a Triplet, whom we call Trey. You will also find him here. For the moment, Trey resides with my own Twin but I have big plans for him, starting shortly.

"I hear you Uncle. All will be revealed to you at the right times. What I will tell you now is that I have sensed other Beings such as myself. I'm conflicted about who they are and what their intentions may be.

"You must now prepare for the meeting tomorrow. I will be there with you to assist you with knowing what the leaders are thinking. The rest I leave to you."

Cristina and I moved to the master suite. We dined on a terrace overlooking the rose gardens. Maria and Bao accompanied us. Bao had the sweetest disposition, one that reminded me of Zheng. I could see that he was already working with her.

It was obvious that Cristina was preoccupied with the next day's meeting. I reassured her that all would go well and I would act as Master of Ceremonies, laying the foundation for what was to come.

We had a wonderful sautéed red snapper with lemon and garlic accompanied by a pesto angel hair pasta, prepared al dente.

Francisco, Miche and Wakani were working the guests in the grand dining room. They were all served the same dish we had. We spared no expense, decoration or bauble for this auspicious crowd. The room was festooned with the flags of all the nations and flowers indigenous to each country.

Alcohol of every kind flowed freely, as did conversation. The graphic artists and technicians were busy preparing the Grand Ballroom with all I would need to make the presentation. Everything, including the music, videos, photos, and even aromas, were all designed to lead this august group to one conclusion -- they would give birth to a new nation with many member States that had full membership in a United World.

We went to bed early with the soft sounds of Bao cooing nearby. The sound was at once charming and seductive, inducing an immediate and heavy slumber.

  Chapter 43

  Bogotá: 05:30, February 2nd

I awakened to the sound of the espresso machine in my adjoining study. Still half asleep, I slipped on a pair of silk pajama bottoms. Like a hound on the sent of a fox, I headed in the aroma's direction. Maria handed me a double. I sat in one of my Great Grandfather's leather chairs overlooking the rose garden. I lit a cigarette and exhaled. The scent of the roses wafted through the open door. I could see Berberson on guard on the connecting patio. The scene laid out before me was completely intoxicating.

My thoughts drifted to the world I loved so much. The sun was already up, over the horizon. I could hear bees busily drinking in the roses' nectar and pollinating them. The whole food chain passed through my mind and again, the big question -- why did our Creator settle on a model wherein one life is taken so another can survive?

The thought struck that, during the five billion years the earth has existed, why had man evolved so quickly? It was then, that day, I decided that we evolved to create a better model, wherein the free exchange of energy was not only painless but for the betterment of both parties concerned. The thought was invigorating. It reaffirmed that I, no, we, were still on the right path.

I swiveled in my chair to see Cristina approaching, clad only in her panties, with soft curls meekly escaping at the sides. The sway of her breasts with each step aroused me. She was the epitome of a beautiful, mature woman in her prime. The response inside my pajama bottoms as I arose from the chair brought a whimsical smile to her face. It also started a fire in her eyes. Upon a summons from her index finger, we went back to bed and made love without restraint.

In the shower an hour later, I decided I would surprise this new and different audience. I dressed in magnificent formal Berber attire. To top it off, I wore tooled and bejeweled, soft, brown leather Moroccan riding boots. Breakfast was to begin at 9 am. Then we would gather in the ballroom for the day's presentation.

Cristina looked magnificent in her emerald green outfit. Our entrance to the dining hall was well received with polite applause. Together, we made the rounds of the tables to properly greet all our guests -- a most overlooked custom. I was ravenous, so I ordered pancakes and Argentinian flat sausage with an orange juice. Cristina asked for the same.

It was a raucous bunch like the aviary we have on this very property. There was an atmosphere that I hadn't expected. These people were happy and filled with a sense of great anticipation. I felt stunned but in a good way. I thought this will work to our advantage so I tossed away my prepared remarks. I would speak spontaneously about where we were going and how we would get there together.

I would leave the specifics to Don Francisco, Cristina and Wakani to address with the leaders over the next few days. As breakfast was finishing, the waiters ushered the attendees into the ballroom. It was set up in a comfortable arrangement where each person would have a comfortable leather chair and side table.

The grand ballroom was oval-shaped with a sculpted ceiling twenty-two feet high, covered with fine art. It would hold up to three hundred people on occasion. Today our audio-visual techs had set up a twenty by ten foot flat video screen on one of the long walls, starting at seven feet. It would be easily visible to all. The background music was light selections from Pachelbel and Ravel. The fireplaces were burning coffee and cherry wood mixed, producing an aroma you could almost drink. The lighting was subdued yet upbeat providing an atmosphere like a new dawn.

I opened the meeting with a favorite verse of my mother from Emily Dickinson's "Hope" --

"Hope" is the thing with feathers

  That perches in the soul

And sings the tune without the words

And never stops -- at all

"Ladies and Gentlemen, we are about to enter an era of great hope. We have been given a chance to make this thing we call civilization actually work for everyone, including nature. All the countries and contin
ents worldwide have been given this opportunity. It is incumbent on us to seize this moment."

Playing on the screen behind me, at low-level intensity, were selected scenes of anarchy and mayhem in each of the countries. All of them were well known, though it was unknown yet probably suspected in this group, I was their perpetrator. I wasn't especially proud of that but it was how we got where we are on this day.

I continued with, "Gone are the days of 'isms' -- socialism, communism, fascism and capitalism. We shall institute a new system that values the individual as much as the masses. This value system will allow for people to be successful and appropriately rewarded. It will also allow people to fail but also give them additional chances to succeed. We will rebuild our material and social infrastructure with nature in mind.

"There shall be good jobs for everyone, opportunities for entrepreneurs, and capital available for businesses. All this we shall accomplish with nature in mind.

"We will reconnect with nature. Milk, meat and grains do not originate from a store. They come from farmers and ranchers who maintain our food supply through their hard work. These are honorable professions that we shall encourage."

Zheng whirled around in my head telling me that the group comprised good people with high moral character and the ability to lead. His thought was, "Just lay it out and they will get it."

The screen now carried pictures of more compassionate times. Lovers walking together in well-known parks in each country, horseback rides on the beach, people helping other people and everyday scenes of typical, happy people.

"We will always tell the people the truth. There will be no more prevaricating or spinning, trying desperately to not offend anyone or hide the real truth. Our people will understand and react accordingly.

"There will be no more professional politicians. We will ask ordinary, hard-working citizen patriots, who are not inclined to seek public office, to run our day-to-day affairs, for short terms.

"Each country will be required to balance their budget annually and limit the growth of the government's reach and bureaucracy. The taxation rate will be fifteen percent of earnings for everyone, with no loopholes, no credits, and no exemptions. Sales taxes may be charged on non-essential spending.

"Don Francisco, Cristina and Wakani will cover all the details to help you get started. The United World will assist all countries with new health technology, which will reduce your health care expenditures by ninety percent. Most of you have spoken with Don Francisco. He is living proof of the new health therapy. He is the oldest person here, yet he looks like the youngest and he is the healthiest."

The screen now showed how rising medical costs were bankrupting their countries and decreasing their levels of services. Then they showed Francisco's time-lapse transformation and people being saved from horrific injuries and devastating diseases. At that, all heads turned to my Grandfather. Everyone nodded in approval. A Low murmuring filled the room.

"Starting early next year, we shall also reduce your energy costs by over fifty percent with an inexpensive new technology. All details will be explained to you over the next two days. As new and different technologies become available we shall give them freely to all countries to help lower operating costs and improve their citizens' lives.

"United World will operate with a New Currency, backed by hard reserves, that will replace all existing currencies. Armies will be disbanded. The United States of America will guarantee security. The United World will supervise police forces and court systems, insuring honesty and fair dealing.

"My family has purchased huge amounts of land on the open market, in all countries represented here today. With the exception of the Amazon territory, which will remain in the custody of the Indigenous Peoples' Trust, all land will be banked for redistribution and resale. This will allow everyone to have a piece of the pie, giving them the opportunity to prosper.

All natural resources will be privatized under the control of people who own or reside on the land where they are located. Concentrating resources in the hands of the State and small groups of corrupt politicians has prevented our continent from prospering. This stops now, today."

The screen showed General Hamilton in full dress uniform and looking every bit the Commandant of the Marines. He presented a thirty-second clip affirming the US would stand behind its commitment to defend South America and arbitrate disputes, with force if necessary.

"There is much to do," I continued. All of you will be involved in decisions and implementation. Your guiding principles will include more personal freedom and economic latitude. Finally, there shall be less central government, fewer regulations, and more opportunities in all fields, especially education.

"I will take a few questions. Then I will leave this eminent body to study your new constitution and to plan for the future.

"I recognized the Representative of Bolivia."

He asked, "Don Johnny, I think that privatizing water, one of the necessities of life, is a bad idea."

"Don Hector, you make a good point except that your own government to this date has a terrible record for water management. It would be hard to do worse."

He was nodding his head in agreement and said, "But still?"

"Hector, our company, Coherent Harmonics, has already solved the riddle of inexpensive and non-polluting desalinization. This means that sometime next year you will have an unlimited supply of fresh water. In turn, this will create tens of thousands of new, good jobs building the infrastructure to deliver it in each of your countries."

There was a round of applause for solving a problem that had been plaguing many parts of the world for a long time.

The last question came from the new leader of Argentina and I, rather Zheng, had been reading his thoughts and his question, which I asked for him.

"Santiago, you want to know how I know this huge change will work?"

Santiago answered, "Exactly," with a quizzical look on his face.

"I cannot, in all honesty, tell you how because I do not know myself. But I know it as surely as I know the sun will set tonight and the moon will rise. All our recent discoveries that are changing the world now did not happen by accident or because we are smarter than anyone else. There has been, for lack of a better phrase, a Divine Intervention.

"This Intervention continues to lead us in directions that we would not take as a civilization for another fifty or a hundred years. Who is leading us, why now, and for what reasons we do not know. We just know that it is right, it is Holy and it must be done.

"I must leave now because I am due in Switzerland tomorrow for the first organizational meeting of the United World. You are good people and you are in good hands. Seize this moment in time and make the best of it."

To this, I received a standing ovation as I left the room. Cristina would join me at the break for lunch and for our farewell. I had decided to take a sauna bath with fresh eucalyptus branches. I caught sight of myself in the full-length mirror and realized for the first time how young I had become. I looked not a day over thirty. My muscle tone was like a young man's.

It was hard to believe, but there it was, staring me in the face, and I liked it. I felt Zheng tell me "If you like this, then you'll love the next stage of our evolution."

Cristina and I had an espresso and a smoke on the study balcony. We spent the time looking into each other's eyes and into eternity. We were connected for all time. I could hear the Augusta Westland helicopter approaching the Castle. She walked with me to the to the pad. We held each other tightly as I drank in her fragrance. A lingering kiss sealed our compact. Then I was off to what I hoped would be amicable negotiations with my new partners.

  Chapter 44

En route to Lugano: 14:00, February 2nd

The Gulfstream was running up its engines when I arrived with my Berbers. The Captain did his final walk around. I settled in with a double espresso and lit a cigarette as the plane leapt into the sky. We were flying eastward. I could see the advanci
ng sunset as darkness began to swallow the light in its eternal cycle.

I heard the bedroom door open. I swiveled in my chair and there stood Ana in all her glory. She was dressed in a vermilion, form fitting, silk shift that displayed her womanhood in all its glory. My surprise quickly switched to a hot lust. I grabbed the Grand Marnier and joined her aft.

It seemed to me there was something new about her body. She had a certain glow about her. She looked ever so slightly more rounded. As I rubbed my hand across her belly it dawned on me. When I looked into her eyes, the twinkle there confirmed it. She had conceived.

For some unknown reason, the thought of it excited me and increased my emotional response. She gasped when my mouth found her breast. She urged me on in her silky French voice. Her eyes glazed over and that was my sign to enter. The intensity of the feelings that surged through her body were at once gentle and savage, and then greedy. I waited for the tremors of her body as she arched her back and cried out "Oh. . . God!"

Then there was nothing but the sound of the wind on the fuselage. I fell hard asleep with a passage from Boccaccio stuck in my mind -- "Heaven would indeed be Heaven if lovers were there permitted as much enjoyment as they had experienced on earth."

I left Ana in a deep sleep and went forward. Swahilison fixed us a light breakfast and some espresso. I dimmed the light and sipped an ayahuasca tea Wakani made. My thoughts drifted to the meeting tomorrow afternoon in Lugano. Zheng joined my thoughts. He introduced Trey, my triplet, to the thought process. This was getting really weird. They both agreed with my assessment that it might seem that way.

Zheng noticed I was preoccupied with the President of Russia possibly rejecting my agenda. He said, "Uncle, after visiting the President's thoughts, I can reassure you that he is interested and excited about moving your agenda forward. He is especially excited, on a personal level, about the Cellbot therapy. I can tell you that the conference will be successful without my interference."
