He cocked a brow, looking her over, "I need any extra attention, I know where to get it, don't I?" He moved before her, hands to the top of the freezer, trapping her there, looking her over, "I love this outfit - the see through part - shows off your adorable belly - it's turning me on." He confessed.

Right at that particular moment, Sylvia didn't mind at all being trapped by him, putting her hands to his waist, pulling him even closer, looking up at him, "Is he really bugging you that bad?" She was starting to feel a little bite of conscience, a tiny little bite.

"Ohhh, I'll be all right, they'll be gone day after tomorrow." He lowered his head, kissing her brow.

"Emmm, so they will, and things can get back to normal." Savoring the kiss, gazing up at his lips.

He noticed, "You lookin' at me like that, gonna get you in trouble." He warned low, his breathing changing a bit. They weren't making love so often as before, simply because he didn't like the idea of slaking his lust when she was growing heavier with his son, forced to feel more un-comfortable because of it. Even so, he was finding that he was getting more horny as days went by due to the voluntary celibacy.

Sylvia barely heard his words, reaching up, she pulled him down to her for a kiss, she too was feeling the strain of his withdrawal, and the kiss showed just how much, his mouth covered hers so, that he had her head pressed hard against the freezer door, devouring her mouth, sucking her tongue, rolling his with it, "Ohhh man...," She breathed into his mouth, "...I am sooo hot right now." She admitted.

Her words, caused him an instant erection.

"This - is messed up - we have, a house full of people." He was kissing her cheeks, her ear, nibbling down the side of her neck.

"I know - but oh, I wouldn't mind a quickie right now." Her suggestion was clear, she wanted him.

His penis jumped and throbbed at her words, "Shit - think we'll get away with it?" He was breathing hard, looking around the room for the perfect spot.

"Whose watching the food?" She asked, sounding as breathless as he, reaching down, she could feel his rod-iron pressing against his gym pants, filling her hand, causing them both to groan.

"Dennis - told him I'd be back - sssss - dammit Sylvia - in a bit - he knew why I took off." His groin rolled into her hand, his eyes rolled back in his head with his lids fluttering, "Shit - this is hell..." his hands were no longer on top of the freezer, but palming her breasts, moving slightly against her, turning her slightly, he had the perfect spot.

"Oh I wish we had a lock on this pant-..." They both heard the door come open at the same time, jumping back, opening a space between them, looking guiltily over their shoulder towards it.

"Who in here? Ya'll - what the...???" Words intruded, as the pantry door stood open with Mundo there holding Darren, looking in at them, "... aaah man, in the pantry ya'll? Come on now, not in the pantry - my food in here! All this stuff in here, I eat!" Mundo screwed up his face, shaking his head.

Shawn quickly turned his back to him, "Damn you, Mundo!" - he had no other way to hide his erection.

"Me? Nah-nah, see - see mama, yeah - that's why you all preggy now - that right there! Might I suggest ya'll get that one born first, for you start on the next! Control yourselves - even just for a minute, let company eat and leave," And to Darren, "...turn yo' head man, you too young to be witnessin' this!"

"Boy what is it that you want!?" Sylvia snapped at him.

"Man mama, don't be gettin' mad at me, Dennis sent me in for some barbecue sauce, talkin'bout - Shawn in here somewhere looking for it - yeah - and now I see the hold up."

"Mundo!" Shawn called, biting back laughter.

  "Yessir?!"

"Get the barbecue sauce and get!"

"I'ah get it, but ya'll got to cease this here - ya'll got company! New people showing up and stuff - what I'm supposed to say? They be out in a minute, they in there uhhhh - uhhh - fixin' the freezer, it's on the blink."

"Yeah - go - go tell'im that!" Shawn went with it, waiting for his crotch impression to lessen, grinning, not a bit shamed.

Sylvia sighed, walked past Mundo, rolling her eyes, she couldn't resist thumping him on the head on the way out. "Ow! Gon' mama - man! Uh huh, mad 'cause I busted you - busted you both - and can't be trusted - not wit' no pantry! This place - is for - our food people, we eat the stuff in here - understand? Yeah - and you," he pointed at Shawn, "In the corner - 'til you learn some restraint - swear fo'God, ac'like'ya'raised by wolves!"

Shawn feigned a swing at him, growling, lacking the full effect because he started grinning, walking by him, he sighed, giving up any hopes of them being together - and grabbed two bottles of the sauce, himself, "Next time, knock before you enter a room."

"What? It's the pantry ma-a-an, it's the pantry!" He shook his head, "I think I'm gone have to revoke ya'll pantry privileges; from now on, kitchen cabinets only!" he followed behind them fussing, "Can't be trusted with a room like this, puttin' a lock on here, and only I get to go in - until then, takin' the peanut butter and Jelly out too - ya'll might get ideas. See the kind ya'll is, gettin' that whip cream too - I ain't having it!" He walked behind a grinning Shawn, who looked back over his shoulder to make eye contact with his wife, who stopped at the counter, preparing fresh salads, smiling and winking at her, a promise of later.

She winked back, with a nod to that promise.

  Chapter 304

When Shawn reappeared in the back carrying the barbecue sauce, it was to see a new face in the back. The new person was standing next to Dennis, who was looking his way, pointing him out.

"That man right there, is the Lord of this domicile."

Alec walked up to Shawn smiling, his hand out, "Hi, I'm Alec Ore - Vivian's boss from Chicago, here for the wedding."

Doubling the bottles of sauce in one hand, Shawn grabbed his giving it a strong squeeze and shake, "Nice to meet you, you're in the right place, a drink?"

"Hmmm, I suppose so, don't have far to go."

"Hey, should you go beyond your limit - we have plenty of space here for you, no problem."

Across the way, at the food table, Dean heard as he piled his plate high, "Alec you should have just stayed here, like us." He turned to Stephanie, "Tell him - they got plenty of room!"

Stephanie's eyes went to Shawn, "I'm gone let him run his own house, thank you!"

Shawn smiled and winked at her, flirting a bit and then back to Alec, "Yes, we do have the space, store that info for later, for now - what's your poison?" Shawn asked walking to the outdoor bar he set up.

Alec was slightly sidetracked as he watched Lacy arrive towards the back, in just that instant, she was down, he saw it - not the same lady he walked up to, swinging so carefree; he had to drag his eyes from her back to Shawn, "You know what, my first weekend in a long time, what would you suggest?"

Shawn grinned, noticing how he, Alec, kept turning back to gaze at Lacy. "Something's caught your eye I see."

Alec sighed turning back, smiling, going back to the drink, "Yeah, well - I best stick to what you're serving,"

"Suit yourself; how about I fix you up a triple threat?"

Alec smiled, "Should I be afraid?"

"Be afraid, be very much afraid - you game?" Shawn was grinning, everything about what was going on that weekend, was what he loved, a family event, having a good time.

  "Triple threat huh?"

  "It's called a 'Oooh-Weee' - it's such a triple threat." He warned.

Alec started chuckling, "Oh my, I hope I don't come to regret this."

"You're in safe company, have no fear."

"What the hell, I wanna know what 'Oooh-Weee' feel's like. What's in it?"

"Only the best," He dropped 4 ice cubes in a cocktail glass, and explained as he mixed it, "...1 part, Courvoisier Cognac, 1 part Drambuie, and 1 part Grand Marnier, squeeze of lime wedge, drop it in, a slight shake and here you go." Shawn loved playing bartender, set up as they were, he was ready to let the party begin.

  Alec took the drink, gazed
at him, smiled and took a sip - the heat was immediate, warming him up gently from the back of the throat, leaving a soothing path of heat as it went. "Oooh weee," Alec immediately agreed with the name, sending Shawn into laughter.

"Yes, exactly, let me know when you need another."

He looked towards Lacy, where Alec was gazing once more, she was fixing several plates, and called out to her, "You need any help? I can find my daughter to give you a hand?" Shawn asked.

She turned to him, trying to keep from making eye contact with Alec, "Would you please? My mother is tired, she's gonna stay across the way to eat, let the boys chill there and play games, I just wanna run some food over to her."

"Your wish is our command lovely lady," Just so happened that Angela was coming outside with Sylvia, helping her bring out more foods and desserts for the lay out.

"Babe, can you and Angela help her with food to take across the way?" Shawn asked.

"Will do." Sylvia returned. She and Angela went about helping Lacy load up on food for everyone there.

Shawn left the bar to head back to the barbecue pit where Dennis had taken a seat now that he was back, Alec followed suit, slowly sipping his drink. Needing to take his mind off of Lacy, Alec complimented Shawn, "Beautiful home - this must have set you back a bit."

"A bit, a bit - just finished it and moved in, right on time for the wedding."

  "So, Jake's your brother?"

"Yep, that he is - this is a big event you see, Jake is not the marrying kind - never been married, last of the red-hot players." Shawn smiled as he imparted that bit of news.

"I can tell you now, he held out for a winner." Alec complimented on his knowledge of Vivian.

"We all think so. Our mom, is more in love with her than he is I think."

Alec laughed, "That's always good. However, I don't think her mother feels the same about him."

"Ohhh man, Jake gone catch hell with that one, Ms Cooke something else." Dennis shared right away.

"You know them then?" Alec asked.

"Oh yeah, Vivian by the way, might as well be our little girl, my wife and I - she hooked onto Sheila and Sylvia when she was this high, been with them ever since. I married Sheila, and adopted her in."

"She's a beautiful lady, inside and out." Alec commented.

  "You better believe it."

"How many sisters does she have? I thought she had three?" Once more, Alec.

"Yep, three, two here, the other one at home, and be glad they didn't bring her."

"Emmm," Alec sounded, sipping his drink - his eyes straying towards Lacy. With Sylvia and Angela's help, she had all she needed, the three were departing with trays, for Shawn to call out, "Mundo!"

"Yeah?" He answered, looking over the food.

"Help them - your mother with that tray." Shawn ordered, wasn't asking.

Mundo made a face, with Shawn pointing towards them to get with it, and of course, with a sigh he did what he was told, going to his mother to get some of what she carried, "This way ladies, let me help you out."

"Your wife, with the green on? Pregnant, how far along?" Alec asked.

"She's heading into the seventh month - beautiful isn't she?" Shawn exhaled watching the little group disappear around the side of the house.

  "You're a lucky man."

"That I know, believe me - I know."

  "Her son, Mundo?" He asked.

  "Yep."

"How do you two get along?" Alec couldn't help the questions.

"He might as well be my son. Our family jives because we belong to each other, we don't fight it. We have our struggles like any other family, but - we fit - we fit each other well. The young girl with her, black hair, our daughter from my first marriage, and not present, we have another daughter, Crystal, she's our fiery red-head." Shawn simpered.

Alec nodded, listening, this whole new world was just that to him, new. "And your wife is?" He asked Dennis.

"Sheila is my wife, she's at Jake's and Vivian's - you would have seen her while you were there. A fine healthy sista's with a smile outa this planet, that's my wife."

"Yes, that smile greeted me on the way in over there, okay - Sheila's your wife, real nice lady. All the couples here, one can only wonder why Lacy's husband didn't show up for his sister-in-law's wedding?" He couldn't believe he asked it, he shouldn't have, he was being ridiculous, maybe the drink was going to his head, but he couldn't stop thinking about her. Her husband had to be an idiot - to send her off alone with her parents and especially with a mother that didn't mind controlling her, treating her like a child.

"Lacy's husband? Talking about Vivian's sister?"

"Yes, she's the oldest, right?" Alec spoke directly to Dennis, figuring he would know the most about them.

"Yep, she's a widower, her husband died like five years ago in a plane crash. Far as I know, she been winging it alone all this time. They have a son together, his name Cory."

Alec couldn't believe what he was hearing, "Yes, Cory - I saw him, he's a good looking boy. Looks like his mother."

"Yep - that's him. She took her husband's death pretty hard, they grew up together, from the same neighborhood. One of those deals where everyone knew he was gonna marry her, and she was gonna marry him. Since his death, she stay up under her parents all the time. That's what you call true love, I mean, five years?! Can you imagine a woman that fine, staying single that long?"

Alec sipped more of his drink, going silent, no - he couldn't imagine it. 'So the rings are his, and you're still wearing them? Hmmm, what a ghost, what - a - ghost - he must be.' He stood before Dennis and Shawn, listening as they joked around, laughing and having a good time. Suddenly, Alec also smiled, once more - he too was having a good time, as it occurred to him, all was not lost - not by a long shot.

A while later, she re-appeared with Sylvia, and as he watched her, she was trying to avoid his gaze - but that would do little good, 'I know your secret lady, hiding behind rings, evading the truth. I know your secret.' He sipped once more, realizing his drink was empty.

"Shawn, if I may, another triple threat, please?"

"Coming right up, coming right up..."

"Shawn! While you're at the bar, mix Lacy a Irish Mint Julep!" Sylvia called out to him.

  "You got it baby!"

  More family were arriving.

Percival came and picked up Darren and Isaac, freeing up Mundo and Angela who had been seeing about them once Shawn and Sylvia had to start cooking. Now that all was done and the spread was there, everyone converged on the place.

Shanna was there and once more, Royce would be showing up on and off during his breaks and drive-bys and especially when he needed a bite to eat. There was barbecue beef, pork, ribs, chicken, hot links, Italian sausage, seafood shish-kabobs on ice, Shrimp cocktail on ice, salads, Spanish rice, foil wrapped baked potatoes on the grill, corn-on-the-cob foil wrapped and grilling, a big pot of greens, potato salad, pea salad, 3 bean salad, cole slaw, dips, chips, water melon, fruit salads, ice cream, cookies, cakes, pies, puddings galore; beverages of every kind, soda's, lemonade, kool-aid, and of course alcoholic cocktails, coolers, cases of Budweiser, Miller, Old Style and all kinds of wine.

Derrick's family soon arrived - and they were hungry!

Mundo started the music playing - with an order from Shawn, 70's music only - and out came the dusties.

Jake arrived with Lucas and Milton - all laughing and talking, hungry.

Milton was on top of the world - as he'd spent quite a bit of time with Jake - letting him know that he was almost done compiling all he needed to get his basement done, he would have had it earlier - but kept some money back for something else and after seeing what he'd done on the before and after pictures of his daughter's home - Jacob Patrick McPherson - in his eyes, could do no wrong - before him, Betty would have hell to pay for any verbal abuses.

  Food was delicious and flowing.

  Drinks were refreshing and pouring.

  Men talking loud, laughing and
joking.

With the women, loading up on food to take back to Vivian's so they could sit with her and have a good time.

Gert was the next to show up on the scene, informing Dennis, "Your boys are having themselves a ball by the farm."

"They behaving themselves?" He asked, concerned, Budweiser in hand, "'Cause if they ain't Ms Gert-..."

"Dennis dang you, no you didn't call me Ms. Gert, come again?!" She scolded him, hands on her hips, a stern eye piercing him through.

Dennis started grinning, all beautiful white teeth showing, he stood, grabbing her, hugging her, kissing her on the cheek, making her laugh, "Mama Gert, don't get m'now - don't get'me! 'Cause you got a mean right, I ain't forget, I'm sorry, won't do that again, promise!"

Gert grinned hugging him, "You know I do, all right, don't let it happen again, Ms Gert..." She repeated the reprimand, "...it's mama Gert, to you! And the boys are just fine - they're fishing in the catfish pond - Bart's gonna fix'em some fresh catfish for dinner. Paul's gonna bring'em back later on tonight. Should be good and warn out by then."

"Yes ma'am, whatever you say ma'am."

Gert was looking around, "Sylvia? Where's the Cooke's, I come to meet'em!"

Milton Cooke heard her from the hot-tub deck, speaking up he leaned over the banister asking, "Looking for me?" It had been a long time since he'd been in a group of men having such a good mood, like the others, the drink had them laughing it up joyfully.

"If you're family to my Vivian, I sure am." Gert spoke up walking up the stairs to him, he was sitting near Lucas and Jake, "I'm Gertrude McPherson, this one here's mother, as well mother to that one, and that one, and that young lady there!" She pointed to Shawn, who was by the pit with Dennis, and Derrick who was at the long table with his wife and family, completing the first trip to the food, and Shanna who was about to leave with Sylvia and Lacy - but they'd stopped to wait for Meribel, letting her know she was taking plenty of food along for all of them. Giving Derrick a stroke on the arm, she decided to depart with them.

"You got to be proud of all yours - every one of them doing good for themselves." Milton complimented her.
