Remind Me, Master [The Martinis and Chocolate Book Club 5] (Siren Publishing Everlasting Classic)

“Yes, Master.” At least he was going to let her get some sleep before he expected them to be complete.
“Writing lines is an excellent punishment, but I think you need something more…corporal. Something to make you think here and now about who is in charge. Over the spanking bench, pet.”
She rose and draped herself over the bench, squirming to find a comfortable spot, the waist cincher making it more difficult. Her Master noticed everything, of course.
“Are you uncomfortable, pet?”
“The waist cincher is tight, Master, and makes it hard to find a comfortable position on the bench.”
“Then by all means, let’s take it off.” His fingers plucked at the hooks, and she let out a breath of relief as he tossed it away. He chuckled in her ear. “Message received, love. The cinchers are nice for looks and for a few minutes. Not good for an entire evening.”
Sweet Conor, he always took such good care of her. They’d both selected this cincher after seeing another sub wearing one at a play party, but the reality of it was much less pleasurable than the fantasy. She giggled as she thought of some of the erotic romance books the club read. No one ever had a leg cramp while in bondage, or gas, or acid reflux. Everyone was always in the mood, legs shaved, armpits daisy fresh. Back here in the real world, she and Conor stole whatever time they could to have some time alone, which was no small feat with three children. They’d learned not to be picky about leg stubble, lax bikini waxes, and sweaty male odor. Conor anchored her ankles and wrists to the bench then sat down in front of her so he could see her face.
“What was the giggle for, love?” He had a smile on his face.
She pressed her lips together to keep from laughing. She was glad he was in a better mood than earlier and hoped this play session was helping.
“Married sex.”
He laughed, the corners of his eyes crinkling. He was so incredibly handsome, but never more than when he was laughing. “The infamous married sex. I do remember when we first got married you were adamant that we wouldn’t fall into the boring married sex trap. You don’t think we have, do you? I think our sex life is amazing.”
She did, too. It was better than anything she’d read about in one of her books, but it still amused her.
“I think our sex life is amazing, too. It’s better than it’s ever been, and we had a rocking sex life when we first got together.”
“Than what made you think about married sex?”
“It’s a long story. Suffice it to say, you come out looking good in it.”
He shook his head and stood up. “Thank you. I won’t even question how your beautiful mind works. But you did give me an idea.”
She screamed when his mouth and tongue touched her drenched cunt. Bound firmly to the bench, she allowed her mind to start its peaceful drift as her husband’s tongue explored her slit, sending shivers up her spine. He tongue fucked her, and she panted, needing to come. She clenched her fists to hold back the tide, waiting for his permission before she allowed her own release.
“You taste delicious, pet. Sweeter than honey.”
Each swipe of his tongue made her pussy clench with need. His tongue made lazy circles around her clit, and her body trembled with need.
“Please, Master.”
Her voice sounded small and far off. He patted her bottom.
“No, love. Later. First, your punishment.”
He was going to make her wait tonight. She should have expected it. It was the epitome of control and control was what he needed and craved tonight. She heard him open the cabinet, and then his hand was rubbing her bottom, bringing the blood to the surface and warming her up. She shifted restlessly, wanting her punishment.
“I think the paddle will be perfect tonight.”
She felt a drip of honey slide down her thigh almost to her knee. She loved getting her ass warmed up, and Conor wasn’t going to disappoint her tonight.
The first strike was dead center on her bottom. It made her jump and then moan as the heat spread deliciously through her abdomen. He didn’t give her the second right away, making her wait, stretching out the anticipation.
The second was right at the same spot as the first. She tugged at the restraints, desperate to touch her clit and make herself come. She tried to rub herself against the leather, but Conor was too experienced to allow her to be in any position where she could bring herself off. She had no choice but to wait.
Eight more times the paddle came down on her ass cheeks, raising the temperature on the skin and sending her closer to the edge of release. By the time he finished the tenth, she was whimpering and begging to come. He stroked the white-hot flesh with gentle fingers.
“Good girl, pet. Such a good girl. Yes, you may come.”
His fingers were on her clit, and she cried out as her orgasm hit her. If she hadn’t been restrained, she would have fallen off the bench, her body bowed with the intensity. She rode his fingers until she was spent, his lips close to her ear urging her to let go.
He lifted her head and kissed her lips softly, so tenderly. “You’re magnificent. Watching you come is so beautiful. I hope we’re still doing this when we’re old and gray.”
She smiled, her heart still at a gallop. “I’m not sure I’ll be able to kneel when I’m old and gray.”
He chuckled, the sound warm and deep. “Then you won’t kneel. We’ll find other ways. The important thing is the time we spend together.”
He was right. This time they spent together was precious. She’d missed it those months when everything seemed wrong. Luckily, this bond was incredibly strong. Too strong to be broken with short-term issues, hurtful words and actions.
He rummaged in the cabinet again, and this time she felt the cool trickle of lube running down her crack. She shivered in anticipation. It had been months since he’d taken her here, dominating her in this ultimate manner.
He pressed a finger in her back hole, stretching the muscles, unused for so long. She moaned as a second finger joined the first in a scissoring motion. The tight ring burned as it stretched.
“Tonight’s going to be like the first time again. Do you remember the first time I took your ass, pet?”
“Yes, Master.” She could barely speak, her cunt tingling and hot, her nipples tight and hard. “We were on our honeymoon.”
His fingers kept up the relentless stretching, rubbing naughty, dark nerves in her ass and making her shake with need.
“We’d spent the day hiking Waimea Canyon on Kauai. We need to take a second honeymoon back to the islands, pet.”
She protested when he removed his fingers, but then his cock was pressing forward. The ring of muscles gave way, and the mushroom head was firmly inside her ass. He pushed forward a little and then pulled back. Push. Pull. Each time gaining a little more purchase until finally she was fully impaled on his cock. He paused to give her a chance to get used to the feeling.
“Remember how this feels, blondie. Remember how much you love this.”
Yes, she did love this. He was moving now, slowly fucking her, every ridge on his dick running over sensitive spots in her bottom. As he built up speed, he smacked her ass cheek with every thrust, sending her arousal spiraling inside her, coiling tighter and tighter until she was ready to explode.
He was grunting with each stroke of his cock, their bodies covered in sweat. The room felt hot and the air was heavy with the scent of sex and sin.
“Please, Master. Please.”
He thrust into her hard and froze, his fingers reaching around and pinching her swollen clit. She shattered, the waves of her climax making her scream Conor’s name and sending her off into the stars. She could feel his cock jerk as he shot his seed deep in her ass. Her eyes were dazzled with multicolored lights behind her lids, and then she was coming down to earth. Conor had released her from her bonds and wrapped her in a blanket, holding her close to his warm body.
“Good girl. That’s my good girl. I love you so much, blondie. I l
ove you.”
She stroked his bicep as her breathing evened out and her heart slowed down to a normal rate. She looked up, her hand cupping his square jaw, the tender look in his eyes taking her breath away. It was the gaze of a loving husband and devoted father. She swallowed the lump that had formed in her throat.
“I love you, Conor.”
The words seemed so simple, but she wasn’t deceived. Relationships were difficult and complex. They couldn’t get lazy or complacent. They would have to work on their marriage all the time if they wanted to be together forever.
She wanted to be with Conor forever. Till death do they part, for better or worse. She’d meant the vows when she’d said them, but she hadn’t really known what they meant. She did now. For better or worse could get worse than you thought. Till death was a damn long time. But she couldn’t think of anyone else she would rather do this with than this strong man holding her so gently.
She gave him a big smile. “We might need to update the fire insurance on the house.”
He frowned at her words, confused by the everyday, mundane topic after their scene. “Update the fire insurance? Why?”
“Because our sex is so hot, we might just set fire to the joint.”
A slow smile spread across his face. “I’ll call our insurance agent. It’s only going to get hotter.”
She snuggled down in his arms, feeling safe and loved. Things were getting better between them. Conor was truly reminding her of all the wonderful things in their past. Now they only needed to create a future that was even better.
Chapter Nine
Lisa and Brianne were playing volleyball with the kids in the pool when her cell phone started ringing. Lisa was having too much fun to stop, so she let it go to voice mail. It was almost an hour later when they took a break and she checked for a message.
“It’s from Jeb. I haven’t heard from him in a few weeks.”
Brianne toweled off her toddler Paige before she could drip water all over the kitchen.
“Isn’t he trying to put together another show for you in the spring?”
Lisa nodded. “He is, but I didn’t expect to hear anything until closer to the holidays. It’s the end of October.”
Brianne huffed as she handed Paige a cherry Popsicle. “It feels like August. The weatherman said we’re having record heat. I swear the older I get, the less I can take Florida weather.”
“You’ll be singing a different tune come January.”
Lisa pressed the redial button and was quickly connected to her favorite art dealer.
“Hello, Jeb. I saw you called but you didn’t leave a message.”
“I was too excited to leave a message. You don’t leave this kind of news on a voice mail anyway. It’s bad enough I’m not delivering it in person, doll.”
“News?” Lisa stepped out of the sun and into the shade, the heat already starting to dry her swimsuit. “What kind of news? You sound really excited.”
“I am excited. Do you remember that art dealer in New York I told you about? My old friend from college? She came here to visit and she looked at some of the pieces in the gallery. She saw pictures of yours and fell in love. She forced me to sell the only piece of yours I own. I thought she was going to make me take her to every person’s house that had purchased one of your sculptures so she could make an offer on it.”
Lisa had to sit down before her legs gave way underneath her. “That’s good, right?”
“Good? It’s fantastic, doll. She’s having a show next month at her gallery and had an artist pull out at the last minute due to family issues. She wants you to replace them. It’s the big time. You’re going to the city that never sleeps!”
Lisa’s head was starting to spin. “Me? She wants me?”
“You, doll. I told her you had plenty of pieces in that garage you call a workroom. There wouldn’t be time to make any more. The show is in ten days.”
Her mind flitted over the inventory she had and what would make an impression on a sophisticated clientele.
“Are you still there, Lisa? You haven’t said much.”
“I’m in shock, Jeb. I didn’t expect this. The last time we spoke we talked about a local show in the spring. This is all so…well, shocking, I guess. In a good way. I don’t know what to say.”
“Say you’ll get your cute little ass over here to the gallery to sign the contracts. We need to start packing up what you want to show. Don’t make any plans tomorrow morning.”
Brianne was making hand signals, wanting to know what was going on. Lisa nodded absently. “Conor will want to read the contracts before I sign them.”
Jeb made a sound of exasperation but didn’t argue. “Fine. I’ll email them to you. Sign them tonight and I’ll pick them up in the morning when I come over to help you start packing up your work. Don’t delay, doll. You have to grab this chance while it’s smoking hot.”
Lisa pressed the End button on the phone and sat back, still not sure it was truly real. Brianne looked like she was going to explode with curiosity.
“What is going on? What did Jeb say? You’re signing contracts?”
Lisa sipped at her lemonade. “I’m going to New York. A gallery wants to show my work.”
Brianne’s eyes went round. “Holy shit!” She slapped her hand over her mouth and looked nervously at her daughter, who was oblivious as she made a mess with her Popsicle. “That’s great! When?”
“In less than ten days.” Lisa leaned forward, her head cradled in her hands. “I’m going to New York, Bri. I can’t believe this. It’s happened so fast.”
Brianne shook her head. “You’ve worked your butt off for this. You have talent. Real talent. You deserve this.”
Lisa grabbed a pad and paper from the table and started to make a list. She was the mother of three kids and the wife of a workaholic so being practical and organized was a survival skill.
“I need to start a list of things to take with me. And a list of things to do before I go.” Lisa tapped the pencil against her chin. “Can you take the kids, Bri? If Conor has stuff going on while I’m out of town, I don’t want him worrying about the kids. He might be in court and won’t be able to pick them up from school, or take them to after-school karate.”
“Of course I can take them. Better yet, why not have Conor go with you? Make it a romantic getaway for the two of you. Think how romantic a stroll through Central Park would be in the autumn.”
Lisa smiled. “That’s a great idea. I owe you. Big time.”
Brianne laughed and wiped the sticky mess from Paige’s hands and face. “And don’t think I won’t collect. Nate and I have an anniversary coming up.”
“Deal. Now let’s get these lists made while the kids are playing video games and we have a few minutes to ourselves. I’m getting excited now. Maybe Conor and I can take in a Broadway show while we’re there.”
“Because there’s nothing men love more than Broadway show tunes.”
Brianne had a point. “Okay, we won’t see a musical. What is showing on Broadway?”
Lisa and Brianne opened her laptop and began researching hotels, flights, and things to do. It was going to be a great vacation for her and Conor.
“Call me when you get more details. Get your plane ticket and your hotel set. I’m so happy for you, Lisa.”
Lisa sat back in amazement. She was going to New York City.
* * * *
Lisa could barely wait for dinner to be cleared away and the kids to go to bed. She was so excited and wanted to share her news with Conor. He’d been giving her strange looks all evening, knowing something was up by her happy, giggling expression. She pounced on him as he came out of the shower.
“I need to tell you something.” She pulled him closer so he was sitting next to her on the bed.
“I figured that. You’ve been bouncing around all evening. At first, I thought it was that you were just happy about my being home on time for dinner, but it’s clearly more than that.”
> She bounced up and down on the mattress. “Jeb called today. A New York gallery is interested in showing my work. They’re going to put me in a show with a few other new artists.” She grabbed his arm and tugged with glee. “Oh my God, it’s so exciting! A New York gallery is interested in me!”
She hopped to standing on the mattress, dancing around. “I’m still reeling from this. I still can’t believe it.”
Conor stood up, holding his towel around his middle with one hand, and pulling her back down to her knees with the other. “Careful, we don’t need a trip to the emergency room tonight if you take a header off the bed.” He tossed the towel on the floor and grabbed a set of boxers from the dresser drawer, tugging them up his legs. “That is amazing news. So, do you think you want to do it?”
Lisa stopped bouncing on the bed and took a good look at Conor’s expression. He didn’t look unhappy, but he didn’t look excited for her either. His expression was decidedly neutral.
“What do you mean, do I want to do it? Of course I want to do it. It’s a huge opportunity for me. More exposure. More sales. It’s all good.”
Conor turned from her and combed his fingers through his hair as he looked in the mirror. “We don’t need the money, Lisa. We’re fine. You don’t have to do this.”
She jumped off the bed and grabbed his towel, tossing it into the hamper. “I know I don’t have to do this. It’s not about the money, Conor. Aren’t you excited for me?”
He turned then, pulling her into his strong arms. “Of course I’m excited for you. I can see this is a big opportunity. It’s just happened so quickly. I don’t want you to get into a situation that you’re not ready for.”
“You don’t think I’m ready for this? Jeb thinks I’m ready. Brianne thinks I’m ready.” She swiped at her eyes. “You don’t want me to go.”
“I didn’t say that. I want you to go if you want to go. I just don’t want you to be disappointed if it doesn’t work out. My job as your Dom is to protect you, Lisa. I don’t want anything to hurt you.”
