Shooting Blindly in the Dark

I snapped my head around. “Hell yeah, I’m still on the bullshit.”

He waved his head. “But I aint got shit to do with it.”

I nodded, “You shoul right, Hurt. My nigga, you showing me exactly what it is.”

Monay gave him the eye. “Baby, why don’t you just tell her?”

“Because,” he opened his arms. “It aint my business, Monay.”

“Whatever,” she rolled her eyes. “Black Reign, on my mama, if I knew where he was I’d tell you.”

“Umm hmm,” I pursed my lips, as I took both hands, pushing my hair out of my face. “All I know is that you better not ask me for shit!” I screamed, losing control.

Lil’ Hurt stuck his neck out, trying to get a closer look. “Wait a minute…are those tears in your eyes?”

“No,” I became chocked up, and a stubborn tear slide down my cheek.

“Damn,” Hurt stressed. “This shit is deeper than I thought. That nigga is going crazy, missing money. And Black Reign over here crying.”

I giggled despite myself. “Nigga, aint nobody crying.”

“Damn,” he waved his head. “Hell is about to freeze over.”

  “Hurt, fuck you.” I sniffed.

He chuckled. “My nigga got you dick whupped, huh?”

“What? You got me fucked up!”

“I got you fucked up, huh?” he lifted his chin. “And see, I was just about tell you where that nigga is resting his head too.”

  “Okay, tell me,” I pleaded.

“Nah,” he waved his head. “Ion like how you was handling a nigga.”

“Come on, Hurt, stop playing. If it was you, I’d do it for you.”

Monay cut her eyes at me. “Really bitch? You’d sell me out like that?”

I slyly winked my eye. “In a heartbeat. Hurt is my brother.”

He smiled, displaying all the gold in his mouth. “You laying it on thick, aint cha, Jasmine?”

“Don’t call me that,” I mumbled. “But for real, brother, help ya sis out.”

“Nope,” he poked out his bottom lip.

I glanced at Monay, “Friend, help me.”

She exhaled, “Baby, tell her,” she urged, rubbing his hand. “I’ll suck ya dick tonight.”

Without hesitation he spilled the beans, “555 Greens Road. Apartment 2010.”

  ******

“So, who knocking on the door?” Monay glanced around the car.

Me, her, and Dookey Baby were all sitting in my newly purchased Ford Fusion. “You go, Monay. He yo cousin,” Dookey Baby spoke up.

She sucked her teeth. “Bitch please.”

I rolled my eyes. “Fuck it. I’ll do it my muthafuckin’ self.” Hopping out of my car, I nixed them bitches off.

I heard the other car doors open, and slam shut. “Uh, it’s on,” Dookey Baby rubbed her hands together.

“I can’t wait see the look on that bitch’s Farrah’s face,” Monay added.

I spun around. “Oh now you bitches wanna come.”

  They both stopped and giggled.

I turned around, and continued my stroll up to Farrah’s apartment. I didn’t know if the bitch was there or at work, but I was coming to say what I had to say, regardless. I was still tripping on the fact that she now had her own apartment, and I really believed that Kaydoa’s friendly ass had helped her get it.

With butterflies in my stomach, I stepped to apartment 2010, and knocked on the door. I knew the nigga was home, because his Cadillac was parked right outside. I made sure to knock with my head down, so that he couldn’t clearly see my face through the peephole.

“Who is it?” I heard his voice on the other side of the door, causing my heart to skip a beat.

I didn’t say anything, and my friends nudged me. “Bitch, say something.” Monay urged.

I waved my head, as I knocked again.

“Man, who the fuck is it?” he snatched the door open, and stood there shirtless, with a pistol in his hand. His facial expression quickly changed, when he realized it was me standing there. “Man,” he stressed. “What are yall doing here?” he placed the gun on a bar right near the door.

Without permission, I pushed him back, and stepped into the apartment. Monay and Dookey Baby followed closely behind me.

“What the fuck?!” he belted. “Monay, you coming over here, co-signing this bullshit?!” he fumed.

She sucked her teeth. “Whatever, nigga. This my friend, and I don’t give two fucks about Farrah.”

“So, it’s fuck me too?” he glared at her.

“Nigga, you a big boy.” She rebutted.

“Anyway,” I waved them both off. “That aint here nor there. I came to holler at you, and I was coming regardless if she came along or not.”

He scrounged. “So, you just gonna show up to the next broad’s house?”

I opened my arms. “What else was I supposed to fucking do?!” I lost it. “I call you, and you lie and tell me that you gonna call me back. Then when I call back you don’t answer. You should’ve faced me like a fucking man!”

  “Lower your voice!” he barked.

“Fuck you!” I started swinging on him, catching him in the face a few times. “You fucking wanna play wit my feelings?!”

“Aye!” he attempted to grab my hands, but I wasn’t having it. I was throwing blow after blow, letting off some steam.

“Bitch, I hate you! I hate yooooooouuu!” I wailed.

“You hate me?” he gripped my neck. “Huh!” he shouted. “Say that shit again,” he gritted.

“Yeah, I hate you!” I fumed.

With fire in his eyes, he began dragging me to the back of the apartment.

“Kaydoa, let her go!” Monay tried to intervene, pulling his shoulder.

Jerking away, he pulled back from her. With God’s speed he pushed me into a bedroom, and slammed the door shut. Locking it, he turned and glared at me.

“Kaydoa, open this door!” Monay banged on the closed door. “On my mama, if you fucking do something to that girl, I’m calling the laws on ya bitch ass!”

“Monay, go sit yo ass down somewhere. I got this.” He growled, as he continued to eye me. “And you,” he pointed. “You crossing the fucking line. You don’t show up to the next bitch’s house. She’d be dead wrong if she did that shit to you.”

“Right about now…Fuck her!” he slapped my chest. “Don’t tell me about what’s right and wrong. Every night you been with me!” I cried. “And then you just start back dealing with this bitch!!”

He cautiously approached me. “Man, stop all that screaming.”

  “Fuck you,” I spat.

He nodded, as he tipped closer. For a brief moment he just stood there, staring at me. Just when I looked away, he spoke. “Come here,” he pulled me into his arms. “I’m sorry,” He whispered into my ear.

Not being able to control it, I broke down. My body trembled, as I sobbed.

“Shhh,” he hushed me. “Stop that.”

I waved my head, as I wiped my eyes.

“I’m sorry,” he mumbled, as he kissed my lips. “I’m sorry.”

His kisses had taken me to some parallel universe, and I barely felt him pushing me on top of his, and Farrah’s bed. “Kaydoa, nah,” I waved my head. I might didn’t like Farrah, but this was some grimy shit, even for me.

“Stop that,” he ordered, before kissing my neck, causing my eyes to roll to the back of my head. He had a way with finessing my body. Soon, my shirt and bra was lifted, and he was sensually suckling my nipples.

“Sssss,” I hissed, arching my back. I swear, his tongue was making love to my nipples.

“Black Reign,” Monay knocked on the door. “Are you alright?”

“Monay, man, get ya ass away from the door. She good!” he spewed, as he went right back to licking and caressing my body.

Cradling his head, I indulged in the moment. He kissed me all over, leaving passion marks everywhere. I bit my bottom lip, as he made me feel marvelous. I don’t even rem
ember how or when he managed to get me out of my clothes, but one minute I still had on my jeans and panties, and the next I’m lying in the bed naked.

With his fat dick in his hand, he eased between my thighs. I braced myself, as he struggled to get inside of me. “Shit, you tight,” he breathed, as he hit rock bottom. Slowly, he slid the dick in and out, while tonguing my down.

Grabbing the back of his head, I took the kiss deeper, as he expertly rubbed his dick against my clit. Wrapping my legs around his waist, I fucked him back, wanting it all to never end. “Umm,” I moaned, with his tongue still in my mouth.

“Umm hmm,” he moaned, as I became slippery wet. We could both hear his dick slithering through my wetness, as I creamed all over Farrah’s comforter. “Damn, I miss this pussy,” he blurted, finally pulling away from our kiss. Bending his neck, he drew a nipple into his warm mouth, as he fucked me slightly harder.

“Uh,” I tooted my lips, as I gripped his neck.

“Uh huh,” he nodded, as he gave me the death stroke. The bed was squeaking underneath us, as we pushed and shoved.

“Uhhhh!” I belted, as I felt him hitting my spot. “Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God!”

  He smiled, “You like that?”

  “Umm hmm,” I nodded.

He rotated his hips, giving me a nice feel. “You still love me? Huh?”

Biting my lips, I refused to answer him.

“Oh, so you aint gonna reply?”

I waved my head, as he pumped harder.

“You aint talking? Huh?” he kept hitting that spot, making my toes curl. “Huh?”

“Ugh!” I released, as I began to cum.

“You love me, huh? Tell me you still love me!” he insisted.

“I…I…I love youuuuuu!” I admitted, as I finished busting all over his big ass dick.

With a satisfied grin, he pulled out of me. “Yeah, that’s exactly what I thought.”

“Really, bitch?” Monay glared at Jasmine, as we stepped out of my bedroom.

  “What?” Jasmine arched a brow.

“You had us come over here, like it’s really going down. And you just end up fucking this nigga?”

She sucked her teeth, as she gazed at the floor. “Whatever.”

“Umm hmm,” Monay pursed her lips, while Dookey Baby’s dumb ass just sat there laughing.

“Yall let’s go,” Jasmine gestured with her head, as she walked with a slight limp. I’d put a hurtin’ on that pussy.

Monay waved her head, as she stood to leave.

“Quit hating,” I told my cousin.

She sucked her teeth with a frown. “Nigga, fuck you.”

“Alright, Kaydoa,” Dookey baby added, as she headed towards the door.

I watched them leave, but caught Jasmine’s hand just as she crossed the threshold. “Wait.”

She turned to look at me with still obvious sad eyes. “Huh?”

“I’ll be out there later on tonight,” I promised as I grabbed her, and shoved my tongue into her mouth.

Gently, she caressed my face, before I let her go. “Okay,” she sighed. “I gotta go.”

I nodded, as I watched those hips sway back to her ride. Those Robin’s jeans she rocked were hugging that ass, and she looked so sexy leaving with those bowlegs strutting, and that long hair swinging across her back.

I stood in the door, watching until she pulled off. Then I closed my door, and flopped down onto my couch. Some wild shit had just taken place, and I didn’t know how to feel about it. Usually, I wasn’t the nigga to do hoe shit like fucking one broad in the next bitch’s bed. Something just came over me, and I couldn’t stop myself. And that was Farrah’s biggest fear. She felt like I couldn’t resist Jasmine if I was around her, and I was beginning to think that she was right.

The past week had been hard as hell for me. I’d been going to the trap, while Jasmine was at school. I hit all my other licks wherever we decided to meet. So yeah, I was still getting money, but it wasn’t as plentiful with the change up. I had already decided the day before that I was gonna go back to the trap and hustle. I’d been trying to keep Farrah happy, but it wasn’t going to be at the expense of my pockets.

Yeah, we were supposed to be working shit out, and honestly things had actually been good between us. But we weren’t in reality. In my everyday life I’m around Jasmine constantly, and that alone throws off me and Farrah’s dynamics. It was crazy, because she’d been doing everything in her power to satisfy me. She’d been sucking dick on command, and had even taken it up the ass. Still, I thought about Jasmine. A lot. But what kept me coming back to Farrah was the whole stability of the relationship. Jasmine didn’t have her own crib, and we had to fuck or lay up wherever we could. Farrah, on the other hand, had gone out and gotten herself a apartment. She worked and went to school, therefore she got what she could afford without me.

Farrah providing a cozy place to crash, after a exhausted day of hustling was big. I had been getting real sleep at the crib, and I was stepping back into the streets refreshed. But I also knew that it was all different because I wasn’t setting up shop at my unc’s where my bread and butter came from. I had to get back to the money…and Jasmine. I had tried to leave her alone. I really had. But that shit didn’t work. So, I was gonna do what I wanted to do, and let the chips fall where they may.

  Chapter 7

  Kaydoa

“Baby, I really, really like this tennis bracelet.”

I glanced at Farrah’s spoiled ass. We’d been in the mall for over five hours, shopping. I’d copped her everything from Fendi to Prada, and she still wanted more. I can’t front, money wasn’t the issue. In just a month we’d elevated the game a bit, and now had two trap houses. Hurt ran one, with the help of Monay, and me and Jasmine ran the other. There was no more serving feinds. We were supplying the lower end d-boys with cocaine for them to cook and serve the fiends. The money was lovely, and I tried to make both my bitches happy. Christmas was rapidly approaching, and somebody wasn’t going to be happy at the end of the day. That’s why I was trying to be accommodating.

“Go’on get it,” I nodded at the bracelet.

“Hey!” she did a little dance, as she held out her wrist for the salesman to place on her new diamond studded jewelry.

“Ay, my man, give me the other bracelet that was sitting next to that one.” I pointed. It was a couple of hundreds more than the one Farrah had picked out.

Farrah wore a huge grin, as her face blushed red. “You getting me that one too?”

“Nah,” I smiled. “Yo ass want it all. I’m getting that for my T-Jones.”

“Ooh,” she nodded. “That’s what’s up. Mama will like that.”

“I know,” I agreed, as we watched the Arabian salesman box the bracelet up.

“Okay,” he handed me the box. “Your total is six thousand flat.”

I nodded, as I pulled out a knot, and counted out the money. The entire time Farrah had her arm intertwined with mines. “You ready?” I asked her, gazing down at her.

  “Yes, baby,” she cooed.

“Come on,” I guided us out of the store, while she clung to me like her life depended on it.

“Bae, this would’ve been so cute on my other wrist, but my tat aint healed up yet,” she pouted, as she examined her wrist where she’d just gotten my name tatted.

“It’ll be a’ight,” I told her, as I felt my cell vibrating in my pocket. “Hold up, mama. Let me answer this.” I stopped, and pulled away from her. “What’s up?” I answered my phone.

  “Where you at?”

  “The mall.”

“Baby, can we go get something to eat, after this?” Farrah questioned in a childlike voice.

“Oh my bad, I aint mean to interrupt. I aint know it was date night.” Jasmine spat sarcastically.

I sucked my teeth. “Man, what’s up?”

  “I need to re-up.”

I frowned, because it was funny how she’d moved so much work that fa
st. I was just with her earlier, and she had enough work to last for days. I know she didn’t usually make them kind of moves, especially by herself. She knew better than to sell a large quantity of dope without me and Hurt around. I don’t care how much she knew about the streets. She was still a broad, and was vulnerable as hell. “Who…who the fuck you gave all that to?” I snapped.

“Tuka needed some shit bad, and he came to me.” She revealed.

“Tuka?” my scowl deepened. Number one: I didn’t appreciate her making any major moves like that and risk getting robbed by herself. Two: the nigga Tuka had never copped from us before. And three: who the fuck told her to do business with a nigga she used to fuck? Like what the fuck did she think this shit was? “Say, main…” I glanced at Farrah, and she was all in my mouth. For a second, I forgot she was standing there. “I’m on my muthafuckin’ way,” I gritted. “So don’t you go nowhere.” I fumed as I hung up.

I was about to continue my stroll, until I noticed Farrah standing there with her arms folded, looking pissed. “And what’s yo problem?”

“You,” she growled. “You talking to that bitch like she’s ya gal, while I’m standing here in ya fucking face.”

I squinted, “Really, Farrah? We already had this talk. I told you that if we was gonna be together that you was gonna have to accept the fact that I still hustle with her. That shit aint changed. That call was about business.”

She waved her head. “Yall could’ve been talking about flies. It was in your tone. It was in the way you was looking.”

“How was I looking?” I asked confusingly.

“The same way you look when you mad at me.” She claimed.

I waved her off. “Come on, main, I need to drop you off.”

“Drop me off?” her eyes bucked. “I thought that we was going to get something to eat?”

“I never told you that we was going to do shit. Now, I done bought you all the shit you asked for. I gotta go make this money back, after I done blew it all on you.”

“Kaydoa, that’s bullshit. You about to go and confront that hoe about whatever she said to piss you off.”

I chuckled a bit. “Man…go’on with that bullshit.”

“It’s funny, huh?” she questioned, while her arms remained folded. “It won’t be funny when I slap the shit out of yo ass.”
