Bad Rep (Southern Ink Book 1)

by S. N. Garza

Everyone was silent, and I had no idea what to say. After all we've been through.

The hard times...they didn't matter anymore. The only thing that mattered was the man in front of me. The man I’ve only had eyes for since I was fifteen. The boy with the bad reputation became the best man I’ve ever known.

  "You idiot."

"But I'm your idiot, Penelope. Ever since I was eighteen."

"Damn right you are. You really know how to make a girl weak in the knees."

"Don't worry. I'll always catch you."

  Acknowledgements

This has been such a long time coming. This story has been done for over a year and a half. I really am glad to say this book, has been one of the best I’ve written. Why? Well, When I finally picked it up to go through the first read through to start making edits—adding and deleting stuff—I came to the realization that this story was actually very good. Normally it takes me about a month to go through a book, editing it and what not, but Bad Rep took my 3 days. And Every time I go over a passage I‘m like ‘this is not my book. I did not write this. This is so fucking good. I am a total master! Hahaha.’ I read this one as if I was a reader and not the writer. I absolutely love Deke and Penelope.

Sigh. I wanted to make this book as perfect as I could because the cover. This is my first exclusive photo from an actual photographer so I wanted to make sure it was worth the amount of money I paid for it. And I think it is.

It only took me 2 months to write and I hope everyone who picks up a copy enjoys it just as much as I did.

So thank you to everyone who read this and please consider leaving a review. It would mean a lot to me!
