Unbounded Fury

“Kill her, but not fuck her?”

Logan slowly turned around and the cool, put-together expression on Thorn’s face almost had chills running down his spine. “Guess that thought never crossed my mind.”

“Has mine,” he said as he nodded toward the cabin. “Go, and be with your mate. I’ll start grilling in a bit.”

Logan decided to let it go—for now. He went back to the cabin and slowly opened the door. The sight upon entering nearly took his breath away.

Dannie was in the middle of the bed, on her side. The sheet, bunched up between her legs, exposed half of her body. The sight of her bare leg, panty covered side and her top, bunched up to the underside of her breast, had his mouth watering and his cock instantly hardening.

Walking inside he closed the door softly, then bent over and took his boots and socks off. Barefoot he headed toward the bed, pulling his shirt off. At the foot of the bed, he stood to take his jeans off next. There just wasn’t one reason that came to mind as to why he shouldn’t do this. Thorn was slightly right. He needed to show her that being with him could be enjoyable.

As careful as he could, Logan moved up on the bed and hovered over her bare leg. Lowering his upper body, he closed his eyes as he touched the flesh with his lips and skimmed so lightly upward with the small hope that she might roll over for him. She did.

Dannie made a soft sigh when she rolled over, one arm going up over her head, and her knee bending. To him, the move had her opening herself up for him, but he knew she wasn’t, because she was asleep still.

Reaching up to her waist and being as gentle and careful as possible, Logan worked to slip the panties down her legs. When they reached her ankles, she opened her eyes.

Dannie looked down and gasped, sitting up in the bed and scooting away from him, then her hands went between her legs, covering herself. “Wh—what are you doing?”

“Well, the plan was to seduce you.” Logan crawled up on the bed and sat back on his knees, his erection sticking out in front of him. Her eyes widened more when she looked down at it.

“Why?” she breathed out, quickly looking back up at his face. Before he could answer that question she went on, “Where’s my underwear?”

“Over there.” He thumbed behind him. “Seduction goes better without them.”

“I-I don’t want you to seduce me.”

Logan cocked his head to the side. “Why?”

The cheeks on her face turned red and she lowered her head, not looking at him anymore. “Because it hurts when you do.”

Logan scooted closer and cupped her under the chin with his hand, raising her head to look him in the eye again. But she didn’t. She averted her eyes. “Dannie, look at me.” Nothing. “Please.” Slowly those eyes moved up to his face. “Did nothing between us feel good to you?” He didn’t think it was possible for her face to get any redder, yet it did. “I’ll take that as a yes.”

“Logan,” she sighed. “I don’t want to do this. It doesn’t feel right to me.”

  “What do you mean?”

“I’m supposed to hate you, not have sex with you,” she rushed out, then her eyes widened and she closed her mouth fast. Clearly, there was something more going on.

“Okay, now I’m the confused one here.”

“Can I please have my clothes back?”

“No. What you can do is come closer.” Instead of waiting for her to do it, Logan reached out and took hold of her wrist, pulling her until she was just about on his lap. Dannie stiffened. “Relax.”

“I can’t relax when you’re grabbing me all the time and taking my clothes off.”

Logan got close so he spoke right in her ear, low. “I like taking your clothes off. In fact, I prefer you naked all the time.”

“Stop!” She tried to move away but he quickly wrapped an arm around her so she couldn’t.

“Lord but you smell good,” he purred, closing his eyes and pressing his face a bit more into her hair. “I think I could live on nothing but your sweet scent.” Unable to stop himself he rubbed his face in her hair, the silky locks spreading out over his face. Releasing his hold on her, he moved his hands up to her shoulders and started to rub. “Close your eyes.”

  “Why?”

  “Because I’m asking you to.”

  “Is this that seducing thing?”

  “Maybe. Now close your eyes.”

  “I don’t trust you.”

“I know, and I’m trying to fix that, so help me out here.” He stopped rubbing her shoulders and leaned to the side to look at her. “You’re not closing your eyes.” With a sigh that sounded like pure irritation, Dannie closed them. “Thank you.” Logan went back to rubbing her shoulders. “Now keep your eyes closed. I want you to try to relax and just answer a couple questions, then focus only on what my hands are doing.”

“Not sure if I like that idea, either.”

  Logan smiled. “Why?”

“Because your hands tend to go places I think they shouldn’t.”

“Got me there.” He cleared his throat. “Okay, now do you like this? And be honest, don’t lie to me.”

“Fine, I like you rubbing my shoulders.”

“Good.” Logan stopped for a second and repositioned himself behind her. She turned her head, looking back at him. “Just changing how I’m sitting, nothing dirty.” He smiled big at her and wiggled both eyebrows. “Yet. But you need to also change how you’re sitting as well, so how about this.” He moved her so that she was sitting in front of him, between his legs. “Yeah, that’s better.”

  “Doesn’t feel better.”

  “Why?”

“Because I can feel...you know what pressing against me.”

Again, Logan smiled even though she couldn’t see it. “Don’t worry about that right now. Okay, back to closing your eyes for me.” Once more, he started rubbing her shoulders. “And relax.”

“You really expect me to relax like this? I’m half naked still.”

Logan got close to her ear. “Would you like to be totally naked?”

  “No!” she gasped.

  “Then hush and play along.”

She crossed her arms over her chest. “I don’t like you right now.”

“Back to the questions.” He rubbed her shoulders and then slowly started to move his hands down her back, rubbing at spots that felt tense to him. “Like this?” She didn’t answer him, only shrugged her shoulders. “You have to answer Dannie.”

  “It’s okay.”

  “Are your eyes closed?”

  “No.”

  “Then close them.”

“What is the point to all of this?” she said petulantly, sighed and moved away, but he grabbed ahold of her by the arms, stopping her from getting too far.

“The point I’m trying to make is to show you that my touch isn’t that bad. You like it even.”

  “I don’t.”

“Yes, you do.” To prove his point, Logan wrapped one arm around both of her arms and chest, pulled her back, and held her close. With his free hand, he touched a bare leg. She sucked air in and both legs came up and closed tight together. He didn’t do anything but rub his hand up and down her leg. “You tremble in my arms,” he purred in her ear again.

  “Because you’re scaring me again.”

“Funny, I don’t smell fear on you. What I smell is a hint of desire.” Slowly he moved his hand just on the top of her leg. “Now you’re starting to tremble and the scent is getting a bit stronger.”

He kept moving his hand up and down her leg, waiting for her to relax. She didn’t. Her next words hit him like a bucket of cold water over his head.

“Logan, I want to talk to my sister.”

Logan sighed. “Dannie, I’m trying to set a mood here.”

“Please! I really need to talk to her.” She wiggled out of his hold and off the bed. He dropped down on his back with a groan, watching as she put the panties he took off back on, as well as some shorts. “Call it a favor I’m asking.”<

“You pick now to ask for a favor?”

She was fully dressed and standing at the door waiting it seemed for him to get up. Slowly Logan did sit up, then off the bed and went over to where he had left his jeans. Once he had them back on, he faced her.

“Okay, I’ll let you see your sister, but I want my favor right now.”

She frowned up at him. “What?”

Logan backed up until he was once more by the bed so he could sit down. “I want you to kiss me.”

Her face instantly got red. Crossing his arms over his chest, Logan grinned back at her.

“That doesn’t seem like a favor to me.”

“It’s what I want, since you’re asking me to piss Thorn off.”

Dannie fisted and unfisted her hands for a few minutes while looking around the room, anywhere but at Logan. For a moment, Logan didn’t think she was going to move and would just say forget about it. However, she surprised him by quickly coming over to him and kissing him just as fast on the cheek. It wasn’t going to do.

Logan shook his head. “That isn’t a kiss.”

“Yes it is. You didn’t say what kind of kiss.” Logan opened his mouth to speak, but she cut him off. “You didn’t say. I kissed you. Now please take me to talk to my sister.”

She turned her back on him, went to the door and waited. Logan took a deep breath then let it out slowly before standing up. He went over to his shirt and snatched it up, jerking it over his head.

“Fine, but this isn’t over.” Right when he got close, she opened the door and was outside. “I need to get you some shoes,” he grumbled low.

  * * * *

Dannie could hardly contain her excitement over winning a small battle with Logan to see Kaz. She needed to talk to her sister. Needed some help in understanding what might be going on with her. As much as she hated to admit it, she was starting to enjoy Logan’s touch, though she wasn’t ready yet to take it all to that next step. She grimaced. As if that step hadn’t already happened.

He walked her up to the second cabin and then let her go in alone. Opening the door her hand shook a bit. She was almost scared of what kind of mood Kaz might be in.

“Dannie!” Kaz called out from the doorway of the bathroom.

Dannie slammed the door and rushed to her sister, into her arms and holding her tight. She closed her eyes and fought back the tears of joy at just getting to have a few precious moments to herself.

“What’s wrong?” Katrina asked. “Did he hurt you?” Dannie couldn’t speak yet so only shook her head and held tighter to her sister. “God, you’re shaking. Talk to me.”

Dannie pulled out of her sister’s arms slowly and sniffed. She didn’t even know she had been crying until she rubbed at her face and felt the wetness. “I’m so confused, Kaz. I don’t know what to do.”

  “About them?”

  “About everything.”

“Dannie, you’re not making any sense here.”

“Did you like it?” Dannie blurted out.

  “Like what?” Kaz frowned.

  “The sex.”

Kaz’s mouth opened in a silent, ‘O’. She nodded and sat down on the edge of the bed. “That’s what this is about.”

“I’m so confused here. I-I felt torn before everything. Does that make sense?”

  “You like him.”

The statement had Dannie hugging herself and shame hitting her right in the face. “In a way I think I do.”

  “And you don’t want to.”

“Mother hurt him real bad, Kaz. I don’t understand how he can want to do anything but hurt me back because of it.”

Katrina patted a spot right next to her. “Come here and sit down.” Dannie did and Katrina took hold of her hand. “As much as I hate having to say this, I’m going to say it anyway. If you like him then like him because clearly he does care about you. Don’t let what mother has done fuck us up any more than it already has.”

  “But what about you?”

  “What about me?”

“Kaz, I can’t try to be happy with him when I know the other one wants to hurt you.”

Katrina squeezed her hand again. “Dannie, he isn’t going to hurt me. He just wants answers to questions I can’t give him. Hell, he’s given me questions that now I need to find the answers to. Guess you can say we are having a standoff.”

“But what about the sex you had with him, and what he said about you?”

“Okay, first off you need to stop worrying so damn much. Take a deep breath and start thinking about yourself for a change. I can’t control who you like any more than she can. So if you like him, then like him.”

“It doesn’t feel right. I feel like I’m betraying you.”

“What are you really scared of? And don’t say betraying me. What has you freaking out so much?”

Dannie lowered her head to avoid looking at her sister. “It’s going to hurt again, isn’t it?” she mumbled low, partly because she was hoping that Katrina didn’t hear her. She did. “Oh my God! You two have already had sex? I thought he couldn’t, from what the others were saying about that full moon crap.”

Dannie got back up. She couldn’t look at her sister due to her own embarrassment. “He said the need was there but not this heat thing. It just sort of happened, or more like he sort of made it happen. It hurt badly.”

“Does the first time.” Dannie did turn back toward her sister but didn’t move from the middle of the room. “Doesn’t mean the next time will, but don’t ask me now. I’ve only done it the one time.”

“I’m afraid it will hurt again.”

“Dannie, I don’t know a whole lot about sex, but I do know enough to tell you that it’s not going to hurt like that again. That thing there,” she waved her hand in the air. “Was a onetime deal.”

“He wants to do it again.” She spoke low and lowered her head again. “Even tried before I asked him to let me see you.”

“Okay, I’m going to just say this then.” Katrina slapped her hands on her legs before standing up. “I’ve kept this to myself because of our crazy mother.” That statement had Dannie looking back up at her. “Even though I can’t stand that damn animal out there, it was really nice touching him.”

Dannie couldn’t stop herself from widening her eyes at her sister. “What?” she squeaked.

“The power in their bodies is really something, and when you touch one of them you get to feel that power in your hands.”

  “I don’t understand.”

“They are strong guys, Dannie. Use your head. Your hands, body, hell even your mouth will make them crumble to their knees before you. He did.” She pointed towards the direction of outside. “When I started to suck on his dick, like mother told me to do, he was all mine. There wasn’t a thing he could say no to. I was in control, and not just because he was tied down to a damn bed, either.”

Dannie felt her face heat up and she had to look away from Katrina. She knew what she was talking about. She felt that power when she did the same thing to Logan.

“Look, I’m not going to tell you what to do or what not to do. You like him, he likes you. Just because he is what he is doesn’t mean a damn thing. Don’t let what’s going on between me and that damn mutt out there stop you from having a tiny bit of happiness, okay?” Katrina came up to her and brushed some hair back behind Dannie’s ear. “I just want you to be safe and happy. If he can do both, then I’m okay with it.”

  “Really?”

Katrina smiled. “Really. You be happy for once and let me deal with the crazy shit. I can handle it. We both know that.”

“So does that mean you’re going to stop fighting with Thorn?”

Katrina snorted. “Hell no. Where would the fun be in that?”

A knock on the door ended it all. Logan opened it and stuck his head in. “Better go. Think Thorn is back from town.”

Dannie rushed into Katrina’s arms for one more hug. “Are you sure?” she whispered to her sister.

&n
bsp; “Yeah, I’m sure,” Katrina whispered back. “No pain and I’m okay with it. You put yourself first, always.” They parted and Dannie nodded. Katrina, however, looked right at Logan. “Hurt her, and you’re nuts will be in my pocket.”

Logan gave her what Dannie was pretty sure was a hurt expression, but said, “I wouldn’t dream of it. Besides, I’m more afraid of Thorn than you are. Come on, Dannie. He doesn’t need to see you with her, or we’re both getting our asses kicked.”

  “Go,” Katrina told her.

Dannie nodded and slowly walked to the door. Once there she looked back at her sister again. Katrina only nodded at her, then the door closed.

  Chapter Ten

Dannie walked back to the cabin with Logan, looking over her shoulder every so often at him, biting her lip, wondering what she should do next. After talking to Katrina, she felt a bit better about starting to like him, but was also very nervous about making any kind of move on him. After all, he wasn’t tied down to a bed this time.

Back inside the cabin, she just decided to do something. Messing around with her hands, standing in the middle of the space, and hearing him follow along and closing the door, Dannie made her move. She turned around just as he was also turning back towards her.

  “Thorn’s going to—”

Dannie moved fast, pushing him up against the door, and jerking him down to her level to kiss him. She didn’t kiss him, but stiffened, fearing she was doing it all wrong, thanks to her nerves, so she pulled back.

“I’m sorry,” Dannie rushed out, taking another step back. “I did that all wrong.”

“Okay.” He cocked his head to the side. “What did you and your sister talk about?”

“Nothing.” She shook her head and turned away from him. She was about to walk away, but he came up behind her, took hold of her arms and turned her back to face him.

He held her close and his head lowered slowly. Dannie held her breath as he got closer and closer, then when his lips touched her own she thought she might pass out from holding her breath.

Logan pulled back, and she opened her eyes, not realizing that she had even closed them. “Breathe, Dannie.” Dannie let the air she was holding in out. He smiled. “Okay, now what were you wanting to try to do?”
