Trap Fever Trilogy

POW, POW, POW, POW!
The gun went off and Savage was hit in the left leg. “Ah fuck!” he yelled as he fell to the ground.
“Baby!” Aleesha yelled as she saw Savage falling to the ground.
POW, POW!
She shot Savage’s attacker twice in the chest as she rounded the side of the car. The attacker dropped his gun, and put his hand over his open wounds. He stared at his chest then up at Savage, then back down to his chest, as his life slowly slipped away. Savage saw footprints coming around the car. He quickly turned on his back and pulled his gun out just as the driver was coming around the back.
POW, POW, POW!
He shot his gun a few times. First he hit the driver in the left kneecap, dropping him to the ground, then he fired one last bullet and shot him in the head.
“Fuck!” Savage screamed as he tried picking himself up.
“Oh my God. Come on babe,” Aleesha exclaimed as she put Savage’s arm around her, trying to help him up. She couldn’t stop trembling and her nerves were shocked. “We gotta get you to a hospital,” she said as she stood him up.
“Nah I’m good babe. Take me home. You know I ain’t fuckin’ wit’ the hospital. I’d rather have you take care of it,” he said as he hopped on his right leg.
“Okay,” she said as she helped him into the backseat of the Trailblazer. She pulled the guy’s lifeless body out that was hunched over in the front seat and laid it on the ground, and quickly hopped in the driver’s side. She backed the car up and burned rubber out of the parking lot.
Aleesha hit a few corners and was on the I-10 freeway in less than five minutes. “Omg. What the fuck!” she kept repeating as she drove.
“Baby, calm down. It’s over. On God you saved us,” Savage said, trying to bring his adrenaline levels down.
“No babe I killed someone,” she said, still jittery and shaking.
Savage sat up in his seat a little to talk to her. “Babe, you protected yourself. That’s it and that’s all. Just calm down and breath babe, focus on gettin’ us home.”
“Okay,” Aleesha said as she sped all the way home.
She helped Savage into the house and to the kitchen, gave him some pain medication, and cut his denim Diesel jeans off to clean up his wound. He downed a cup of Hennessey and bit down on a towel to deflect the pain he was enduring. Aleesha then took some Absolut vodka and poured it over the wound. The bullet hadn’t gone deep enough to reach the bone, so she was able to dig it out of his thigh with some needle-nose pliers. Next, she took a butter knife, heated it over the stove for a couple minutes, and burned Savage’s wound closed. She then put ointment over it, and covered it with a Band-Aid patch.
“So what are we going to do about the bitch who set us up?” she asked as she rested him on the couch.
“Don’t even worry about that, babe. Mac is on his way to take care of it,” he simply told her.
“Okay,” she said before walking outside.
Aleesha cleaned as much of the car as she could before Mac arrived. She gave him the girls’ information, and he was on his way to avenge what happened to his cousin.
When Friends Get Together
As the year went by and 2013 rolled in, Aleesha and Savage became smarter in all aspects of their businesses. They opened up two more dispensaries, Mary Jane Getaway in San Bernardino and Chief The Tree in Los Angeles, and they were getting ready to open High Roller’s in Oakland. They owned two properties, both small apartment complexes and invested in a barber shop. Since they couldn’t be everywhere at once, they let close friends and family members manage most of these businesses. Everything seemed to be going great as the new year took off.
Marcus had just been released from jail and had gone to stay with Aleesha and Savage. They gave him a job, and was in the process of helping him get his own place. They decided to give him a welcome home party a week after he was out and invited a few of their friends over.
Lala, Milasia, Trey, Mac, and Amina were all in attendance. The music was flowing smoothly, weed smoke filled the air, and laughs were heard coming from out the house. The men were in the backyard barbequing and playing dominos, while the women were in the kitchen drinking martinis. The side dishes had already been prepared, so the ladies had time to sit around and chit chat. They were all seated around the table, sipping their drinks while they had two blunts in rotation.
“Amina, I heard you fucked around with Roscoe?” Milasia asked, making the other ladies laugh.
“Bitch you got me fucked up. That’s yo hoe rat ass fuckin’ niggas from G3’s. I heard you let G Fly and T Money hit raw, had yo ass doin’ gymnastics on the dick,” Amina said as she passed a blunt to Aleesha. Amina was Asian and black, with honey blonde hair, slanted gray eyes, a round face, and tan skin. What she lacked in the breast department, she made up for with her broad hips and profuse thighs.
“I sure was. Had them niggas breakin’ they pockets before they left too,” Milasia openly stated.
“Uh un bitch that’s nasty,” Aleesha said cutting in, disgusted. “You fuck more niggas than the law allows.”
“I’m sorry miss ‘I only fucked with the same two niggas my whole life.’ It’s not my fault these niggas have dick to just pass around. You need to catch some before it goes to waste,” Milasia countered.
“No, you need to stop catching it before you fuck around and catch something you can’t get rid of,” Aleesha replied gravely.
“Well, I’ve been good this far. Besides, a bitch ain’t tied down to nobody. I say fuck these niggas just how they fuck these bitches. At least I’m not out here fuckin’ for free,” Milasia said with a neck roll.
“Bitch, that ain’t gon’ justify shit when you ain’t got no more walls,” Aleesha said as everyone at the table, besides Milasia, started busting up laughing.
They all got quiet as soon as Marcus came into the room. He grabbed a beer out the fridge, and turned around to see all the women staring at him.
“Damn, can a nigga get a drink?” he asked as he started walking out the kitchen. All the ladies burst into laughter, making him feel odd. “Y’all weird man,” he said walking out as the ladies kept laughing.
“Ay Aleesha, can I holla at you real quick?” Marcus asked Aleesha as he backtracked into the kitchen.
“Yeah hold on,” she said as she stood up from the chair. They walked into the hallway and toward the patio door. “Wassup?” she asked once she knew they were out of listening distance from the kitchen.
“What’s good with Lala?” he asked in a whisper as he huddled closer to her.
“Damn, you still on her?” Aleesha asked with a laugh.
“Hell yeah,” he said while laughing with her. “Man, Leelee, you know a nigga fresh out. I’m tryna get in somethin’. And she lookin’ hella right.”
“I feel you. Aight I got you bro, gimme five minutes,” she said turning around, walking back toward the kitchen.
Marcus was antsy. “Man, Aleesha, don’t play.”
“I got you,” she said walking away. Aleesha made her way back into the kitchen and sat at the table.
“What did he want?” Lala asked Aleesha as soon as she sat down.
“Bitch you know what he want, you,” Aleesha said with a wide grin. “Go talk to him.”
“No, I am not trying to fuck around with him.”
“You ain’t gotta fuck around with him, just fuck him. You know you want to, and he fresh out. Girl, he’ll tear yo shit up something vicious, have yo ass singing and climbing walls,” Aleesha said, fluttering her eyelashes.
“Bitch, you ain’t ever lied,” Milasia said, giving her a high five.
“Y’all some hoes,” Lala said with a laugh.
“Best friend it’s the truth,” Aleesha responded. “A man will give you the best dick of yo life if he just got out, or if he almost lost his life. I’m telling you, the night Savage was shot, he dicked me down something oh so right. Bitch I was stuck in bed for like two days.”
“A
nd yo ass lied talkin’ ‘bout yo didn’t feel good,” Amina said with a laugh.
“I didn’t, my pussy was outta commission and my insides hurt like a mothafucka,” Aleesha answered candidly, making all her friends laugh.
“I don’t know, he’s cute and all, but I’m not really trying to deal with him like that,” Lala said as she lit another blunt.
“Ain’t nobody telling you to fall in love with the nigga. Please don’t fall in love with him,” Aleesha said as she gave Lala a stern stare. “But ain’t nothing wrong with gettin’ some dick here and there. Just go out there and talk to him. Yo ass been needing some anyway.”
“Fuck I know,” Lala said with a sigh, putting her head down. “Fine,” she said as she looked up at Aleesha. “Come with me.”
“Shit we might as well all go out there,” Aleesha said as she stood up. “C’mon y’all,” she told the women, grabbing her cup in the process of them walking out of the kitchen.
The ladies made their way outside to the backyard. The men had stopped their domino game, and Savage and Marcus were standing by the grill, while Mac and Trey were sitting on a bench, roasting each other. Aleesha and Lala made their way over to the grill, while Milasia and Amina joined the men on the benches.
“Hey beautiful,” Savage greeted Aleesha with a kiss on the check.
“Hey babe. What’s taking the food so long?” she asked, looking at the grill rack of half done ribs.
“Everything else is done. This nigga threw some extra shit on here earlier so I had to wait to make the ribs,” he said, nodding his head at Marcus.
“Ay, a nigga just got out. I’m tryna feast,” Marcus said, defending himself.
“You better be glad you got a good excuse,” she told Marcus. “I’m hungry,” she said to Savage as she smelled the aroma of the barbequed meat. “Anyways, Marcus this is Lala. Lala, Marcus,” she said as she introduced them to one another. “Now you two run along and play nice, or I’ma have to spank both of you,” she said with a laugh as she ushered them away.
“Oh bitch shut up,” Lala said, laughing.
She and Marcus walked to a nearby tree, and started conversing with each other. Ten minutes later, they snuck away to the bathroom. By the time they returned, the food was done and everyone was at the bench eating. They joined the table, both with big smiles covering their faces, and the whole table became quiet.
“Oooh y’all nasty,” Aleesha said as soon as they sat down, breaking the uncomfortable silence as everyone at the table started laughing.
“Shut up,” Lala said, embarrassed.
“It’s okay boo, we all grown,” Aleesha responded back, still giggling.
The friends continued to talk and joke around as they ate and enjoyed each other’s company.
After that day, Marcus and Lala began casually dating, which eventually turned into something more serious. After Lala and Aleesha both graduated from UCR with their bachelor’s degrees, Aleesha’s in accounting and Lala’s in culinary arts, Lala and Marcus moved into a house together in Fontana, and seemed to have fallen in love quite quickly.
How Everything Began To Crumble
As another year passed, everyone seemed to be happy, and everything seemed to be going fine. Spring time was here, and the month of April was vastly coming to an end. The weather had been up and down this month, but this particular week was met with cold winds and lots of rain.
Aleesha and Savage were cuddled up at home in their living room, watching the movie Columbiana and smoking a blunt. She was laid in between his legs while he held her, both of them enjoying the much needed time away from work. All of a sudden, Savage’s Samsung Galaxy Note 3 began ringing, breaking the couple out of their relaxation. He took it out, looked at the phone, and put the ringer on vibrate. It stopped vibrating for a split second, then started right back up. It went on for a few minutes before Aleesha said anything.
“Dang babe answer yo phone,” she told him, getting annoyed hearing and feeling the vibrations.
“Nah, it ain’t important,” he answered uneasily.
“Then turn it off,” she said with attitude.
“I can’t, I’m waitin’ on a phone call.”
“Well put it on silent or something. Tell whoever is calling to call back later.”
“Nah, they’ll eventually stop,” he hoped, but the calling didn’t stop. It went on for another minute.
“Can you just answer the fucking phone?!” Aleesha screamed with irritation in her voice as she sat up and turned to face Savage.
He took his phone out and quickly answered it. “Ay I’ma call you right back.”
Click.
He hung up the Note 3, hurriedly blacked the screen and put it back in his pocket, but it was already too late. Aleesha had seen the name of the caller that was displayed on the screen when he answered it.
“How did she get your number?” Aleesha asked as she put the blunt out on the coffee table and crossed her arms.
“Who?” Savage asked, trying to play dumb.
“Don’t act like I didn’t just see that bitch’s name in your phone. Fuck, you don’t even have the audacity to use a nigga’s name or save her number under another name, do you?”
“Man, I don’t know what the fuck you talkin’ ‘bout,” he said, swinging his leg over her head and raising up off of the couch.
“Oh you don’t? Let me see your phone,” she said standing up, holding her hand out.
“Man, you on that bullshit. I don’t go through yo phone to see what niggas you textin’.”
“That’s cuz I’m not textin’ no niggas. Here, we can switch,” she told him, pulling out her HTC One. “My password is 6969,” she said, trying to hand him her phone.
“Man. I don’t feel like goin’ through this bullshit,” he said, pushing her phone away.
“Okay, let me see yours.” She reached for his pocket.
“Move man,” Savage said, pushing her arm away as she kept trying to reach for his pocket. “Aleesha, move!” he yelled as he forcefully pushed her arm away.
“Whatever. Fuck you and that bitch,” Aleesha said, walking to her bedroom.
“Man you on that bullshit!” he yelled after her.
She changed out of her pajamas and threw on a blue DKNY hoodie, a pair of denim pants, and a pair of black and blue LeBron 12’s. She walked back out of the room and grabbed her keys off of the coffee table.
“Where the fuck you goin’?" Savage asked.
“None of ya fuckin’ business,” Aleesha stated, storming out of the door. He ran after her and caught up to her. He stood in front of her to block her walkway, not even caring that it was raining outside. “Move Savage,” she said, trying to walk around him.
“Man babe come back in the house,” he begged. “It ain’t even that serious.”
“It is that serious. You made it that fuckin’ serious,” she said as she looked at him with hatred in her eyes. “Please just move outta my way. I need some fresh air.”
“When you coming back?” he asked as he moved to the side to let her through.
“Whenever the fuck I feel like it!” she yelled over her shoulder as she walked to her new 2014 pearl white Chevy Camaro. She and Savage had bumped up to new cars, trading in their old ones. And while she was riding in her Chevy, Savage was driving around in a brand new 2014 Dodge Charger.
Savage blew her cell phone up her whole ride over to Lala’s house. Aleesha ignored the calls and eventually had to turn off her phone.
“Hey best friend,” Lala said as she greeted Aleesha with open arms as soon as she opened the door. “What’s going on?” she asked after they hugged.
“Is Marcus here?” Aleesha asked, walking inside. Lala shut the door and the ladies made their way into the living room.
“Nah, he’s out with Pooh. Why?” Lala asked, taking a seat on the loveseat while Aleesha sat in a recliner.
“Nothing. I just don’t want Savage to know I was over here.”
“Oh. Y’all gettin
’ into it?”
“Hell yeah wit his lyin’ ass. Ugh!” Aleesha yelled, balling up her fist. “He irks my nerves.”
“Bitch, tell me about it,” Lala said, shaking her head. “I swear I started jumping for joy when Marcus left today. If he didn’t eat my pussy as good as he did this morning, I would have stabbed his ass.”
“Damn bitch, what the fuck did he do?” Aleesha asked her friend with wide eyes.
“Giiirrrllll,” Lala said, rolling her eyes, “this nigga didn’t come home until 8 o’clock this morning. And the only reason I know that is cuz the mothafucka started eating my pussy. I glanced at the time on the stereo, and I was like this nigga think he slick. So I let him finish, got my nut, and then I just went in on his ass. He ended up leaving right back out the house, and ain’t been back since.”
“Ooo bitch I feel you. These niggas think they can just do whatever the fuck they want,” Aleesha stated.
“Tell me about it,” Lala agreed.
“Ugh, I don’t even feel like talkin’ about they punk asses right now,” Aleesha said as she shook her head. “Can you follow me to the car shop and take me to pick up my rental?”
“Yeah, what’s wrong with your car?” Lala asked with a concerned look on her face.
“I’m getting it painted, remember.”
“Oh yeah,” Lala said as she recollected. “Come on let’s go before this nigga come back.”
Lala followed behind Aleesha to the car shop, then drove her to get her rental car. They went out to lunch at TGI Friday’s, then went back to Lala’s.
“Aight girl, I’m ‘bout to go get a room,” Aleesha said as she grabbed her Michael Kors Camden shoulder bag.
“Why? You know you can stay here.”
“Yeah but I don’t want Savage to know I’m over here. And you know Marcus’s drunk ass can’t hold water.”
“Yeah you right. Aight best friend be careful.”
“I will boo,” Aleesha said as she gave Lala a hug. She was out the door and two minutes later she was on her way to a hotel.
Aleesha drove to the Motel 6 on Redlands Blvd and checked herself into a room. Then she went out to a couple stores and bought her a few articles of clothing and a few necessities to last her for a few days. Once she went back to her room, she put her phone on silent, rolled her a few blunts to smoke, and ordered her some takeout. She spent the next two days in the room, ignoring Savage in the process. She gave herself enough time to cool down, and finally decided to go home.
