“Probably not. We might just be the first one.”

Discovering they were both hungry, they decided to have breakfast at the same restaurant from the night before. When the owner spotted them, he stopped by the table and mistook them for newlyweds. Becca corrected him before his grin widened as he asked, “Is it another Last Resort romance? I met my wife here.”

Both their jaws dropped before Leo told him they just been discussing the possibility of being the first couple to continue seeing each other outside Last Resort. The man shook his head, pointing to a wall behind him. Their gazes flew to a row of wedding photos. Becca’s eyes widened as she breathed, “Did they all get married here?”

He nodded, “Met and returned here to tie the knot.”

Leo stared at her and finally said, “I guess that blasts our theory out of the water, huh?”

She nodded and stayed quiet when the owner suggested, “Maybe I’ll see you guys back here.”

Leo spoke up, “You just might.”

Becca’s eyes widened as she started eating her breakfast. They ate in silence, only speaking when they’d both cleaned their plates. He leaned forward, “Did that make you uncomfortable?”

“It’s just strange talking about marriage when we just met.”

“We just formally met, Becca. We’ve known each other for three years.”

Nodding, she told him, “Yeah, but…”

“Am I taking it too fast?”

“We were just talking benefiting from joint business agreements over coffee and now we’re on marriage?”

He grinned, “Sorry, Becca. I’ll try to slow it down.”

They paid the bill and exited, agreeing to go back and sink into the hot tub. The more time she spent around him, enjoying his jokes and flirtatious personality, she realized she would miss him when they returned. When he completely wrecked her mind in the shower, teasing her into an intense ache before nibbling her into heaving her ass in his face, she moaned in the humid air, “I give in, Leo. You win. I can’t imagine life without you in it.”

He bit her ass cheek, “That’s music to my ears because I think I’m head over heels here.”

A world of emotions spun through her but, for the first time in what felt like forever, happiness was the most intense. She twisted out of his grasp, licking the water droplets off his chest, “I think I am too.”

He pulled her face up to his, “Let’s shock the piss out of your employees then. Let’s elope.”

She gasped before laughing, “Are you serious?”

He nodded, “I’ve never been more serious. I want you to be my wife outside and inside Last Resort. Do you think we can arrange a ceremony on the beach?”

She whispered over his lips, “I don’t know. Let’s try.”

  “You’ll marry me?”

  “Yes, Leo, I’ll marry you.”

They sank to the shower floor, gasping plans while giggling and teasing each other mercilessly. For the remainder of the day, they called around and discovered that it was easier than they thought to arrange. By torch light that night, they tied the knot but promised to keep it a secret until they got back to Miami.

After two more days, their excitement over the prospect of finding a new home was too great. They decided to fly back early to surprise everyone and hunt for a home between the businesses. When both strode into her business earlier than expected, Becca held her hand behind her back. One look at their happy expression had the manager shrieking, “Oh, Becca. You sounded so…”

She pulled her hand out from behind her back, unable to contain herself any longer. The whole place went silent before everyone whooped so loud that Becca giggled happily.

  Duchess... Meet Duke

  by

  Bonnie Robles

The first and main thing you need to know about me is that I am not a whore. I simply love sex and the money, well, that is an added plus. My name is Lynne Elliott and this is the story of my life.

I was born the only daughter to Lord Byron Elliott. I know, you are probably wondering why the hell a daughter of a nobleman would be doing what I do and the answer is simple. The sons of noblemen simply don’t know how to fuck. They are too nervous, too kinky or downright boring. I need more than just the missionary position. Sometimes, all I want is for a man to hold me against the wall in his office and rip my clothes off before fucking me raw. That is kind of what I live for, what I desire.

For most people, food is their lifeline. For me, sex is. I live to fuck. I wake up every morning wondering how my next orgasm will be and in a word, they are always mind blowing. But enough about me. This particular story is about one Taylor Mason. The duke I never had.

It was a sunny Sunday afternoon when I arrived at my parents’ house. Of course, any time I make an appearance at the Byron Estate I have to look the part and this time was no different. I had hit the malls earlier that week looking for the perfect outfit and I did find one: a strapless blue peplum dress and black platform heels. I wore my long brown hair down, daddy always seemed to like it that way. His little princess, he calls me.

As I drove towards the estate, I practiced my fake smile. I always had to do that because, let’s be honest; spending time with my family is not the best way to spend my time. As I drove to the estate, I could see a black Mercedes in my rear view mirror. He was staying a little too close. I figured whoever it was, they were in a hurry so I slowed down so they could pass but for some reason, the vehicle just rammed into me. I could feel my heart beating really fast in anger as I pulled over.

“I cannot believe you rear ended me you bastard!” I screamed angrily as I got out of the car. There are three things I hold dear to me and my car tops the damn list. I looked at the guy in the Mercedes convertible and rolled my eyes. The idiot would not even get out of his bloody car to apologize or anything. He just sat there with a smug look on his face. “Well, aren’t you going to say something?” I asked as I looked at him.

“Depends. What exactly would you like me to say?” he asked as he looked at me. I could feel his eyes undressing me slowly as he eyed me head to toe.

“I don’t know. Sorry is a good start though,” I said as I looked at my car. My, oh so precious car. I looked at my wrist watch and sighed. I was already getting late. “You know what? I’ll just take your insurance information and I’ll be on my way,” I said angrily. The guy inside smiled at me and shook his head.

“Why don’t you just ask for my number directly?” he asked. I rolled my eyes again.

“You think I want your number? I just want you to take responsibility for repairing my car, you ass,” I said getting annoyed. The guy smiled as he pulled something from his pocket. He handed me his card and scribbled down his insurance info before handing the card and the piece of paper to me. His grip lingered as he looked at me. At that moment I had the rare opportunity to look at his raggedly handsome features and hated myself for noticing how good he looked even though I was so pissed at him.

“Maybe you need to be a little bit more careful while slamming on the brakes, lady,” he said. I yanked my hand pulling the card and paper away and stared daggers at him.

“Maybe you should keep your eyes on the road more because I was barely driving over the speed limit,” I said. He laughed and shook his head.

“Well, let’s just agree to disagree.”

I shook my head. “No. There is nothing to disagree about. You rear ended me because you suck as a driver. Plain and simple,” I said and walked away. I could still feel him looking at my ass as I walked towards my car. I got in and strapped myself in before I drove away. I was still pissed and somewhat turned on. Pissed off because mother did not like anyone being late for Sunday dinner and turned on because, well
, I have a thing for men like that.

They have everything they could ever want in the world and they still think they can get me by throwing their money around. Well, it is good for them that I happen to fancy the finer things in life and that I love having a good time. Sex? Well, I love that too and if I like how you look then who is to say that I won’t let you have a go at me?

By the time I got to the Byron Estate, my mother was almost breathing fire regardless of the fact that I was only twenty minutes late.

“Hello Mother,” I said as I got out of the car.

“Lynette Elliott, you know very well I don’t like people being late for Sunday dinner,” she said as she walked towards me. She was actually waiting for me in the parking lot just to lash out at me. You have got to love my mother. She is simply one of a kind. Even though she is well into her fifties, my mother has aged gracefully. She actually makes me say, ‘I want to look like that at fifty’ to everyone who meets her. She looked particularly lovely on that day in a simple pink floral sleeveless dress and a pair of cream pink soled peep toe heels. Her hair was held back in a bun giving her a chance to flaunt her beautiful designer earrings.

“Good to see you too, mother,” I said as I kissed her cheek. She looked at me and sighed. I smiled.

“Oh come on Katherine. The girl is only a few minutes late,” I heard my father say.

“Hi daddy,” I said with a smile on my face. My father had a special place in my heart. That was how it had always been. My mother, the harsh disciplinarian and my father the lavishing parent.

“You look divine,” he said as he stepped back and looked at me. “I see you are doing pretty well in the consultancy business. Tell me when you wan to try something different,” he said with a wink. I shook my head.

“I told you daddy. I don’t want to get into the limelight yet.”

My father had been making proposal for me to run the family business for the longest time. He thought that being a duchess, I should be spending more time on front pages promoting the business than running my own. But I had other things in mind, like having fun. Assuming my role in the duchy would ensure an end to my life of fun. I was not ready for that yet.

“I will never give up,” my father said with a smile as he draped an arm around my shoulders.

“Lynette, what on earth happened to your car?” my mother asked in a worried voice.

“It’s no big… daddy, don’t…” I struggled to hold on to my father’s arm as he walked to where my mother was and looked at the damage the hot guy’s Mercedes had done.

“Princess, what is this? What happened?”

“Nothing. Some guy just rear ended me on my way here. No big deal,” I said as I looked at my parents.

“Is this why you are late? Are you hurt?” my father asked as he walked towards me. My mother followed him. I felt like a small child as my parents stood on either side of me bombarding me with questions.

“I’m fine. I took down the guy’s insurance information. I’ll take my car to the shop tomorrow. It’s no worry, really.” I looked at them convincingly.

“We will talk about this later. Right now we have to get ready. We have guests for dinner today,” my mother said as she led us in. Of course we had guests. And here I was thinking that it would be just me and my parents. But then again, this was how it had always been ever since I was born in the Duchy. I walked in to the dining room and almost gasped. The table was set for eight. I had to fake my smile for five more people! I walked back to the main foyer where Samuel, our trusted butler was.

“Do you have any idea who is coming to dinner?” I whispered to him.

“The duke of Oxford and his family,” Samuel whispered back. I frowned. I never really kept up with the country politics. I did not know who was the mayor of a certain place, who was the duke or who was the darned lord. All that mattered is that I knew who the queen and prime minister was. That was all that counted anyway.

“They’re here,” Samuel whispered to me snapping me back to reality. I smiled as I walked to where my father was. There was a man and his wife, probably in their fifties or sixties, a girl who looked like she was in her twenties and a boy of around the same age. That was only four. Where was the fifth?

“Elliott, my good friend, welcome,” my father said as they shook hands with the man. “You remember my wife Katherine and this is our daughter Lynette,” he said as I shook their hands. I cringed a little. I hated the name Lynette. Everyone always called me Lynne, at least at my insistence.

“My wife Annie. Margaret our eldest, Anthony and our son Taylor is running late. Something about a minor accident,” Elliott said.

“Lynette was in an accident herself on her way here,” my mother said.

“The drivers these days. No one has any respect for anyone on the road nowadays,” Annie said.

“But it is no worry. He assured me he will be here soon,” Elliott said just as Esther, the housekeeper brought us glasses of chilled white wine. We talked among ourselves as we slowly sipped the wine as we waited for dinner to be served. This was going to be longer than usual. All I wanted to do at that moment was to be back at my place, curled up on the sofa watching a movie. I would pick that over this ordeal any day. We were still talking when I noticed a familiar face walking towards us in the foyer. My heart almost skipped a beat when I realized that the guy who had just come in was the bastard who rear ended me earlier.

“I’m sorry I’m late. I had to do a quick car switching,” he said as he walked towards us.

“Ah, Taylor. Meet Lord Elliott, his wife Katherine and Lynette, their daughter,” his father said.

“Lynne,” I said quickly. I could feel my mother’s disapproving look when I said that.

“If I knew you were coming my way, we could have car pooled,” he whispered to me after Esther offered him a glass of wine. I smiled and leaned close to him.

“Right about now I am thinking of all the things I would do to you with broken glass,” I whispered, a sick smile on my face. He looked at me and smiled.

“I am rather kinky myself but cuffs and cat-o-nines are more my thing,” he said.

I was about to answer him when Samuel announced to us that dinner was ready and that we should retire to the dining room. I walked out of the room as fast as I could. I was looking forward to getting a seat as far away from him as I could but as fate would have it, he sat right next to me. Just my luck. I had to sit through five courses with an arrogant ass right next to me. Occasionally, I would feel his hand brush mine in a somewhat intentional manner. There was nothing accidental about his touches or the way he touched me especially when he put his hand on my bare thigh underneath the table.

After dinner, we went to the lounge and had some coffee and cheesecake. I had taken a seat in the corner far from everyone else so I could devour my cake in privacy and especially so that I could stay as far away from Taylor as I could.

“I see you are kind of a loner,” he said when he walked up to me.

“Not really. I was just avoiding you. Too bad I didn’t work hard enough,” I said with an insincere smile on my face. He looked at me and laughed.

“I am sorry about your car,” he said to me.

“Finally,” I breathed out a sigh of relief. “At least you acknowledged it was your fault,” I told him. He took a seat on the arm rest and looked down at me.

“I would like a tour of the Byron estate,” he said. My eyes grew wide. There were more than thirty acres of land. There was no way we could cover that much ground in just one night.

“It’s a bit late for that. Don’t you think?” I asked looking at him.

“Fine. How about what you can? I saw a cabin some minutes out.”

I smiled. “That was my get away when I was a child. It was what I got when I kept a steady performance in school for three semesters” I said with a smile.

“Then we could start there,” he said a she took my hand. I put my cup and saucer down and followed him out of
the lounge. Everyone was too busy talking politics or designers or something to notice us leaving. As we walked, I could feel myself getting excited for some reason. I did not know what it was about this Taylor guy that got me so excited but whatever it was seemed to be having a very positive effect on my nether areas.

“Welcome to my little corner of the estate,” I said as I opened the front door. My father made sure the cabin was well taken care of even in my absence. I smiled as I remembered the days and nights I spent in this little cabin getting away from mother and her perfect little world.

“Nice,” Taylor said as he walked around. “So, you are a duchess, huh?” he asked as he took a seat on the fluffy carpet. I nodded and smiled.

“Yeah and you are a duke,” I said as I walked towards him.
