Sold to the Alien Page 9

“Holy shit. What is it with that guy? Why you?”

“Don’t know, don’t care, and now he’s dead. But yeah. Dax bought me and it was easy to convince him to also buy the others. He has a human male as a friend. Then Ceely told him how I saved her life and pretty soon we were leaving. He gave me a translator and asked me if I planned to escape from him.”

Kaitlyn’s smile was smug. “What did you say?”

She snorted. “Yes. But I also told him it depended on what I needed to run to or from. Something like that. Jesus, Kaitlyn. I fucked him. Not let him fuck me, not got in too far over my head, I fucked him. All night. Several times. I wanted more. And then he turned into a dragon and scared the holy shit out of me.”

She sighed and accepted her cousin's hug. “Now I don’t know what to do. See these... see the black marks on my arms.” She thrust her arms out and bent her hands down, exposing her wrists. “These are his. He had these marks on his body only they move when we make love and now, they won’t leave, and I don’t have a clue what the hell to do. But it doesn’t matter. I left. I ran.” She started breathing slow. Easy. Trying to calm down. “I ran away from him. That damn doctor messed with our bodies and I could get pregnant someday with a dragon baby if I stay with him. What the hell am I going to do, Kaitlyn.” By this time her cousin had wrapped her arms around her. “I watched his dragon eat a man.”

She cried for long minutes. So upset, so emotional and hurt. So scared.

She finally stopped and just stayed there with her eyes closed, her head on Kaitlyn’s shoulder.

  “He ate a man, huh?”

  She nodded.

“He was a dragon when he did it?”

  She nodded again.

She felt her cousin start to laugh. “Did you ask him why?”

Lauren sat up. “What the hell, Kaitlyn? What do you mean did I ask him why? HE. ATE. A. MAN.”

“Lauren, honey. We are on an alien planet. It might not have been a man. It could have been a shape-shifting frog for all we know. Or another dragon. And maybe there was a reason.”

“I am going to kick your ass. What the hell is a good enough reason for eating somebody?” Lauren hissed.

“See. I don’t know the answer to that. Only Dax does. You waited for your entire life, just like me, to find the person you wanted to have sex with the first time. You picked this dragon guy. That says something doesn’t it Lauren.”

She huffed. “It says a lot of something. But I didn’t know he was a dragon when we had sex.” She thought for a moment. “In his defense, he was trying to tell me something when I climbed that body and made sure he had something better to do with those lips and they were really talented.”

She laughed when Kaitlyn rolled her eyes. “Seriously. You think I should go back to him and ask him why his dragon ate that man?”

“I didn’t say that. I don’t think you should go anywhere. We all need to stick together. Especially with Makayla out there looking for us. We make our stand here. Do you think he’s coming for you?”

Before she could answer, the damn dragon-man walked out of the dark.

  Chapter Eleven

LAUREN JUMPED UP AND opened her mouth in shock. “What are you doing here?”

He raised an eyebrow. “You are here.”

  “How did you find me?”

  He shook his head.

She frowned. “Were you following me?”

“Yes. And let me give you a tip love. The mating bands mark you as mine. I can find you anywhere. But I didn’t need that. On this planet and many others, things can fly. Small spaceships and even some aliens. When you are using the heat sensor or searching for someone on your tail, look up. They might be flying over your head.”

  Kaitlyn laughed.

Lauren looked sheepish. “Ah. Good point. Thanks.”

“Now it is my turn to ask. Why did you leave?”

She sighed. “Lots of reasons. I’m weirded out that you own me. I’m your slave and I don’t want to be. And you scared me.” She faced him now and put her hands on her hip. “I saw you turn into a dragon and eat a man,” she accused.

  He looked at Kaitlyn.

“One more reason. This is Kaitlyn. She is my family. Kaitlyn this is Daxter. I needed to find her and make sure she was okay, and I am not keeping secrets from her. I don’t like this. I don’t like being a slave where you bought and paid for me. And that you are a dragon that eats people. I think I’ll just stay here for now.”

He snorted. “I’d do it again and pay any price for you. But you do not realize that you owned my soul from the moment I heard your voice and then watched you sing to the child in the cage next yours. You own me body and soul, Lauren. My life is dedicated to yours from this moment forward.”

She felt like she wanted to cry. “That doesn’t fix the fact that I saw you turn into a dragon and eat a man!”

“That was no man, my love. He was a brutal Visalla. He has tusks and poison and he came to challenge me for Ceely, and for you.”

  “What?”

He nodded. “This alien is from a nearby planet. The Siloth took an order from him for Ceely. It seems he owns a...”

“A zoo,” she and Kaitlyn said together. “With all types of women that he uses for pleasure and pain.”

“Yes. The Siloth contacted him when they knew they had to land here. They told him to come pick up his...slave. And that they had many others to auction off and he could have his pick of the breeders. They thought he might find something to his liking. He wanted you. I would not give him Ceely, I certainly would not give him my mate. So, when he challenged me, I fought him and won.”

She looked at him and nodded. “I’m okay with that.”

“Is there anything else?” he asked her.

Lauren bit her lip and looked up at him, afraid of his response. “I think the Siloth doctor did something to us. He gave us a shot so we would find our fated mates. What if what I’m feeling for you isn’t real?’

Grinning at her, he walked over and took her hand. “When we are alone, we will talk more about what you feel. What I feel. On this planet, if you are extremely lucky you discover the person you share genetic resonance with. This is an echo, a reverberation of souls that indicates you are perfect for each other. I know we are perfect.”

She leaned up and kissed him. “Ok. Thank you.”

Before he could say anything, she held up her hand. “Wait, there is one more. Fred said that you guys grew up together. He looks like he is about sixty human years. You look like you are twenty-five. Am I going to get old before you?”

“No. Absolutely not. We are mates. My mating bands have wrapped you in their protection. Our lives are tied together. You will notice your eyesight improves and you have more stamina.”

She took a deep breath and frowned. “We need to discuss that some more. But I think that’s it.” She looked sideways at Kaitlyn and her cousin nodded.

Dax sighed. “I heard what you said to your Kaitlyn. You want to go home. You miss the earth. It would kill me, but if you want to go back to earth,” he winced, “I will make it happen. I can’t stay on your planet with you, but I will get a ship and travel there. Make sure you get home safely. I will ensure your home is there as you left it. And that you make the journey safely.”

He took a deep breath. Glad she didn’t tell him that was what she wanted. “Or if you want me to free every slave on Megoth, then travel the galaxy to ensure it is done—I’ll fight my father for you and wage war on the slavers,” he declared magnanimously.

Before he could say anything else, she put her hand on his arm. “I choose number two,” she said earnestly.

He blinked those fascinating eyes at her. “What?”

“I choose the second option The abolish slavery one. But I go with you. I help with the women and we design programs for them to get home or to teach them skills if they choose to stay here and become productive citizens.”

She shrugged, “Maybe your dad will l
ike me, and it won’t be a fight. He wouldn’t want his grandchildren to be slaves and that damn Siloth doctor did something to ensure we could have babies, so you have to be okay with that. And I want to start with the zoo.”

He peered at Kaitlyn who had a look on her face of love and laughter. She wasn’t upset or surprised that Lauren wanted to stay here. With him. Or that she’d already mapped out their life and several policies he would need to implement.

“We need to get to the zoo as soon as possible. Except we need to wait for Makayla first. Do you have a spaceship? If not, can you go buy one tomorrow? Or hey, the Siloth’s ship is just lying on the sand.”

She tapped her chin. “Make a Royal decree or something that all slaves, ships used to transport slaves, money made from slaving, etc., will be seized and made the property of the king, or no, the kingdom. Then you can use the money that you get from all that to teach the slaves new jobs and how to live. You can use some of the money to build housing for all of them.”

He had to stop this. He pulled her in his arms and kissed her. Because she chose him. And because she was right, his father would love her. She’d already come up with several solutions to his father’s biggest problems.

He kissed her until Kaitlyn cleared her throat. “Get a room,” the woman said. “Preferably down that way where we can’t hear Lauren scream.” She smirked. “Or Daxter. I don’t want to hear him scream either.”

Lauren pulled back and giggled. “Okay. We are going. You go in the cave first though, so we know you are safe. I love you, Kit Kat.”

Kaitlyn ginned. “I love you, little bit.”

AFTER SHE HUGGED HER sister good night, they watched her slide behand the rock and turned to find a place they could be alone. Daxter left with Lauren in his arms.

Kaitlyn slipped back out and watched her cousin and the hot dragon man head hand-in-hand around the right side of their mountain cave. She knew there were other options for them that weren’t too far away. Besides, Daxter would keep Lauren safe.

She sighed and looked up at the stars. She was never alone anymore. She felt stifled, edgy. She just wanted a few moments to breathe without someone right beside her.

DAX HAD ALREADY SCOPED things out and found them a cave. There was bedding spread out, and some type of light that was a glowing rock, and some of her clothes.

He took her in his arms and kissed her, guiding her to the pallet of soft bedding on the cave floor. He scooped her up in his arms and settled back with her body on top of his.

“You own me,” he said. “I am yours to command.”

“Oh, good. I have lots of ideas.” Lauren put one knee beside his hip and sat up. She felt his length pulse against her, and she resisted the urge to impale herself.

He raised a hand to the back of her neck, pulling her down so her mouth met his. Daxter deepened the kiss and took the lead. Their tongues tangled, and she let the passion and fire consume her.

She shivered when Dax ran a rough palm along her spine.

“I can smell your need,” Dax said as he moved down to nuzzle her neck. “Your sweet heat excites me.”

Daxter broke the kiss, and Lauren looked down at him, panting.

He spoke gruffly. “I have to taste you.”

He flipped their bodies and her back hit the nest of soft blankets.

Daxter wasted no time following her. He quickly spread her thighs and settled in between them. The first swipe of his tongue through her folds made her cry out and writhe on the bed.

Using his strength to hold her down, he repeated the move and growled. The vibrations and wet heat scrambled her brain. His tongue settled over her clit and he flicked it back and forth. Lauren tensed, ready to explode into a million pieces. The sensation was amazing.

Daxter worshipped her body, slipping one long finger into her sheath. He worked it in and out, then curled his finger and hit a spot inside her that shattered all thought.

When she could breathe again, she groused, “I thought it was my turn to play with you.”

Dax helped her sit up and laid in front of her. “I’m all yours, baby. I’m sorry I took over. I missed you. Don’t ever leave me again.”

She grinned when she saw his large cock thrusting in the air, waiting for her. The sight urged her forward. She moved on her own, throwing her leg back over Dax to sink over his hard length. “I won’t. That doesn’t mean it will be easy.”

He gripped her hips, his fingers clenching as she slid down to take in every inch of him.

“Fuck,” he growled, arching up off the blanket-covered floor of the cave. “I don’t want easy. I want you. You are so fucking hot, so tight, so damn perfect.” He leaned in and captured her mouth.

Lauren loved how his shaft stretched her. With her knees on the mattress, she lifted, then rotated her hips on the way down. Her movements drove them both crazy.

It wasn’t long before Dax took over. Until he held her in place and simply pounded upward. Lauren gasped in shock as a second orgasm was suddenly there, floating just out of her reach.

Dax growled low, then lifted his hips, hitting her clit with just the right amount of force to throw her into the abyss of pleasure. She screamed as her body convulsed again. The force of her orgasm sent her senses flying.

She heard Daxter roar his release. She relaxed into his warm embrace and within moments she was sleep—a contented smile on her lips.

THE NEXT MORNING LAUREN and Daxter joined the rest of the girls in the main cave.

Sissy smiled. “Oh, nice. You are come back with the Daxter man. Where did Kaitlyn go?”

Lauren frowned. “I don’t know. I left her in the cave last night.”

Randi looked over. “I was on guard duty last night. She never came back to the cave. We all thought she stayed with you for a major session of girl talk. I mean, shit. You have a lot to talk about. We had no idea that Daxter was here until just now.”

“Hell.” She turned to head back out of the cave and ran right into someone in long robes with their face and hair wrapped.

She jumped back and her hand went to the sliver cane at her side. Several other girls pulled their weapons too. Daxter stood with his arms crossed glaring as a second, taller person came in the cave.

Whoever this was, the full-body covering they wore reminded her of the Bedouin clothing used in the Sahara desert. The long robes were intended to shield all of a person’s skin from the sun. Worn loose, they offered a cooling effect and yet they would be warm at night after the sun went down.

When the person lowered the hood, Lauren screamed. It was Makayla!

Daxter was right there, glaring at her cousin keeping her from running into her arms. “It’s family, Dax. Get the hell out of my way.”

Her dragon moved and within moments Lauren was sobbing in Kayla’s arms.

MAKAYLA AND LAUREN were sitting outside, watching the men search the area. Falcon, her cousin’s new man, was using all types of electronic gear. Daxter had sniffed a bit and then took to the air.

Lauren sighed. “What should we do?”

Kayla patted her knee. “We wait for just a sec and see what the guys say. I didn’t see any sign. She probably didn’t have a chance.” They had already determined that she had been taken away from the cave by a big man. They just didn’t know why she didn’t scream.

“Dragon huh?” Kayla looked up at Dax flying in an ever-widening circle.

She grinned. “Yes. He is the prince of this planet. When we get Kaitlyn back, we plan to go petition his father, the king, to abolish slavery. Evidently, he is the king here and at a few neighboring planets. Then we are going to demolish the zoo that Ceely was being sent to.” She stopped talking. Kayla knew all of this. They had already gone over it.

Makayla smiled. “I think I know who took Kaitlyn.”

Lauren whipped around. “You do? Who?”

“When we got here, it must have just been a day or two after you. I was excited when I found Kaitlyn’s sign, sad that you weren’t
safe, and planning to leave a cache for the two of you. Falcon went to get my list of things from the ship.”

“Ummm, do you have more stuff on the ship?”

Falcon walked up just then and nodded at Makayla. Daxter landed and came and sat next to Lauren.

Falcon heard her question and answered. “I have an entire room of my spaceship dedicated to her idea of necessary stuff.”

  Lauren grinned.

Makayla continued her story, “I had dug the hole when three of those red Siloth bastards thought they cornered me. I killed one, and then this large, dark-haired man on what looked like a large ox came sweeping into view, chasing after the other two. He felled one by cutting off his head and chased after the third. When the last Siloth simply disappeared, the man turned and came back to me. I was a little worried. The man was a freaking giant. But at that point I was hoping the old, ‘the enemy of my enemy is my friend’ thing would hold true.”

  Daxter prompted. “What happened?”

“He stopped several feet from me and pointed out I had blood seeping from a cut on my arm. I was waiting for Falcon to come because I did not want to wrestle with an alien who had legs the size of redwood tree trunks. He was massive. And he was seriously cute. With long, curly dark hair and brilliant blue eyes. And both of his arms were uncovered and tatted up with incredible scrollwork.”

At this point, Makayla poked at the bands on her wrists. “You are going to have to explain this.”

  Lauren nodded.

“Anyway, he was a handsome giant who beat his hand on his chest and grunted, “Viktal.” Then pointed at me and I told him I was Kayla. I had this picture in my pocket,” she pulled it out and gave it to Lauren. “I pointed at Kaitlyn, said her name and “need Kaitlyn.” Then pointed off this way, because I knew where she’d gone.” She stopped talking.

A few seconds later, Lauren couldn’t take it. She hissed, “Oh, my God, Kayla you are the worst storyteller. Finish it please.”
