Rebellious Soul

My eyes flew open as the knife entered my leg. My scream was so loud and so fierce that I didn’t even recognize my own voice. He pushed the knife in further and when I thought the pain couldn’t get any worse he ripped it out pulling chunks of meat and flesh with it.
I yelled, screamed, begged and pleaded, but nothing worked. He continued his assault on my body. He sliced the jeans off my other leg taking my skin with it. He walked over to the table and put the knife down, but I didn’t get my hopes up that it was over.
He picked up a razor blade in each hand and walked back to where I was sitting in a pool of my own blood. This was torture, the kind you experience in a POW camp some place terrible. He carved my other leg like it was wood. Shallow cuts that stung followed by deep cuts burned.
My head was spinning and I knew I was moments from passing out from the loss of blood. I welcomed the dark of unconsciousness. I threw my head back and prayed the blackness would take me. Take me home. Take me to Titan. Take me anywhere but here.
“Nope, don’t black out on me. I still have big plans for you princess.” He slapped my face and brought me back to the horror show. “You see all this blood and pain is getting me hard. I want you awake and conscious when I fuck you.” He held my face in his fingers as he spoke.
His warm breath on the blood running down my cheek gave me chills. The thought of him raping me was worse than everything else that had happened. This time I couldn’t hold down the bile, I turned my head and emptied my stomach at the thought of him inside me.
“Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.” I mumbled the prayer under my breath and hoped like hell God heard me.
A loud rumble of motorcycles pulled up outside and perked up. “Don’t get your hopes up bitch. That is the rest of the Hellfires coming to join our party.” Razor put the blades down and walked to the door to greet the bastards.

Chapter 12
Titan
We pulled up to the Hellfires warehouse and looked for life. There were no bikes, no trucks, and no lights other than the street light.
“Do you think the feds gave us bad information?” Force asked as he looked around at the same emptiness I was looking at.
“If they did I will kill them both.” That was putting it nicely. “Something doesn’t feel right. Everyone keep your eyes open.” I felt like we were being watched.
“Prez we have some activity. The front door is opening.” Logan said and all of our heads snapped to the front door.
“No one move and no one shoot till we find out where Lace is. We have to be smart about this, it’s not our lives on the line here it’s Lacie’s.” Force spoke calmly, but I could tell he was fighting mad.
We were parked outside the fence which was covered in a row of trees. It would act as a small cover, but nothing that would save us. The property was too large for us to spread out on. We were sitting ducks no matter what.
“FORCE, I’M COMING OUT. IF YOU SHOOT ME THEY WILL KILL LACIE.” Pagan yelled out the door.
He walked out with Razor by his side. Both of the men had pistols in there front waistband and I’m sure another one under there cuts. Force and Logan walked up to meet them. It took all I had to stand there, but in this world there is a protocol that has to be followed. I had to stay calm if I wanted to see Lacie alive.
“I don’t see any vans with my guns. Force why don’t I see any FUCKING GUNS.” Pagan yelled and it was obvious we had spoiled his plans by figuring out his location.
“Give me Lacie and you can have all of our gun business.” Force negotiated.
Pagan doubled over with laughter. “Razor these boys think they can come on my property and start making deals. I want the fucking guns and I want them now.” His whole expression changed and I could tell from where I was standing he was done talking.
“I sold those guns days ago Pagan.” Force admitted defeat and I braced myself for the worst.
“That’s unfortunate. Razor why don’t you go back to slicing up Dr. Perce while the Descendants go find me some fucking guns.” My stomach dropped as I looked at the Razor and the sick look on his face.
Fuck this.
She is in this fucking warehouse being tortured and we are just standing around. Before I knew what was happening my feet were moving and I was pulling out my guns. Razor and Pagan saw me and ran back to the warehouse. Force and Logan pulled their guns and turned to see what scared Pagan.
“Fuck Titan. What the hell are you doing? They are going to kill her.” Force shoved me, but I didn’t move.
“She was dead the minute you said we didn’t have the guns.” I stopped long enough to look Force in the eye.
I looked behind me to see all the Descendants and several Chiefs walking towards us. They all had their guns pulled and ready for battle. This was brotherhood, this is why I wanted to be a Devil’s Descendant.
“We go in first, make a distraction and take out as many Hellfires as possible. Prez, you and Titan follow. Find Lace and get her the fuck out of here.” Wolf had a background in the military and it was starting to show. “We do not go in guns a blazing. They may be using Lacie as a shield.”
Knowing these sick fucks they would be using small children as a shield. Anyone who kidnapped and tortured a woman didn’t deserve to live. But this wasn’t any woman, this was my woman and I would bring heaven and earth down on their heads.
Force and I waited in the back until everyone was in the building. We didn’t hear voices or movement inside the warehouse. We were all in a long narrow hallway that lead to a big open room. Wolf, Tex, and a few Chiefs lead the raid and as soon as they reached the open room we heard shots fired.
The room was full of shit so there were plenty of place to take cover, but there was also plenty of places for the Hellfires to be hiding. Force and I waited until all our men were in the room then we entered. I took a quick survey of the place. “Force, there is a door on the other side of the room. It has to go to a room.” The warehouse was too big to end there so the door couldn’t lead outside.
“Logan, cover us. We are going to that door over there.” Force said as he pointed to the door.
We moved fast through the room trying not to get shot. Force reached the door first, but it was locked. “MOVE” I yelled and I kicked it in. There was a stairwell behind the door that led up to another level. We took the stairs two at a time until we reached the top.
When we reached the top of the stairs we stopped and stayed close to the wall. There wasn’t a door so we stilled and listened for movement or voices. “Force I know you’re there, I heard the door get kicked in.” It was Pagans voice coming from somewhere in the room.
I went in first, if one of us was going to die I wanted it to be me. Lacie needed her brother. She could live without me, but she needed some family. Even though he was a hardass I knew he always had her best interest at heart.
Lacie was tied to a chair in the middle of the room and barely conscious. She had blood running down the side of her face. Blood running down her arms and dripping off her fingers. Blood soaking her cut up jeans. There was blood everywhere.
“What the fuck did you do to her? YOU SICK FUCK!” I screamed as I ran toward her.
“Stop right there or Razor will finish her off.” Pagan took a step forward and pointed his gun right at my head. Razor was holding a knife to Lace’s throat and Frat was standing on the other side of her with a gun.
Force stopped right beside me and I could see the tears well up in his eyes as he looked at the condition his sister was in. I didn’t know what are next move was or how we were going to get out of this alive.
“I think this may be better than the guns after all.” Pagan said as he looked between Force and Lacie. “I killed Hudson, now I’m going to kill his daugh
ter and son then I’m going to go down stairs and kill his whole club.” He laughed and I thought about shooting him right between the eyes.
“Kill me and my whole club, but let Lacie go. She has nothing to do with any of this, fuck she barely even knew our dad. She didn’t even know about the club until a few months ago.” It was a desperate plea from Force.
Pagan was walking towards us when a huge explosion went off on the first floor. The windows looking down to the warehouse floor were shattered and we were sent sliding across the floor. Smoke and dust filled the room.
Force and I took advantage of the commotion. He kicked the gun out of Pagans hand and crawled as fast as he could for him. I scrambled to my feet and took off for Razor. He was knocked to his back and he his knife was ten feet from him.
I jumped on top of him and started punching him in the face with everything I had. I could have just shot him, but he deserved pain for everything he had done to Lacie. I lifted my fist to finish my assault when I felt the barrel of a gun in the back of my head.
“Get off of him.” Frat said from behind me.
I put one hand in the air and my other on the pistol in my front waistband. I slowly turned around and in one quick move I knocked the gun out of his hand and shot him in the head. I turned back to Razor who was unconscious on the floor and put a bullet in between his eyes.
I picked Lacie up off the floor and cut her out of the chair. She was hurt bad, I couldn’t tell how bad because of all the blood. I sat her back on the chair and walked towards Force who was beating the hell out of Pagan.
“Force, kill him and lets go see if we have a club left.” I looked at him and then at Lacie.
“Wait.” Lacie said and with all her strength as she tried to stand up. “Don’t kill him.”
“Lacie, we have to kill him. If we don’t he will come for you again.” I said as I walked over to help her up.
“I want to pull the trigger. I want to be the one to kill him.” She was talking a big game, but the tears rolling down her cheek told a different story.
“Are you sure Lace? Once you pull the trigger there is no turning back.” Force said as he handed her a gun.
The tears had mixed with the blood and her face was a mess, but I could still see the fear in her eyes. Her hands were shaking and she looked like she could pass out at any time. She put both hands on the gun and tried to take aim.
I walked past her and stood over Pagan. I pulled the trigger, one, two, three times. His body let go and blood drained out onto the floor. I turned back to look at Lacie, she had a look of disappointment, but I knew she couldn’t pull the trigger.
“I was going to kill him. I wanted to be the one to kill that bastard.” Lacie cried.
“You don’t kill people Lacie, you save lives.” I said and went over and picked her up.
We didn’t talk as we walked down the stairs. Force went out the door first with a gun in each hand. We had made it this far and the last thing I wanted was to get shot with Lacie in my arms. She was in bad shape and needed a hospital.
“It’s all clear. Wolf said there was a truck in the back. They are looking for keys. I don’t think she can stay conscious long enough to ride to the hospital on the back of a bike.” Force opened the door and led us out to the room.
The explosion destroyed everything on the main floor. Logan said Sam found a jug full of gas and got all of the Descendants out of the building before lighting a rag and blowing everything up. Tex was shot in the shoulder, but they had it wrapped up and he was walking around.
“Titan, we found the keys. We have to move fast. Sam just said the scanner is going crazy. They are sending cops, feds, and fire out here.” Logan was talking fast and trying to get us to where the truck was parked.
“So much for 24 hours.” I said.
“I’m sure that deal blew up along with the building.” Force joked.

Chapter 13
Lacie
I woke up in a dark room with IV’s coming out of my arms. All I could hear was the machine’s beeping beside my bed. Everything hurt to move. I looked down at my arms and saw rows and rows of stiches. I couldn’t move enough to take the covers off, but I assumed my legs looked the same.
I closed my eyes, but all I saw was Razor’s face as he cut into my skin. He had a sick look in his eyes and an evil smile. He loved inflicting pain, he loved the torture. He was a sick individual and he was dead. He couldn’t ever hurt me again, but I was still scared.
I was mad at Titan for not letting me pull the trigger. He had to kill Razor, but I had a chance to kill Pagan. I wanted to be the one to avenge my father’s death. I wanted to look him in the eyes and squeeze the trigger ending his miserable life.
My tears stung as they ran into the cut on the side of my face. I didn’t mean to cry and I didn’t want to cry. I wanted to be strong and brave. “Lacie, are you awake?” Force sat up from a recliner on the other side of the room. “Why are you crying? Are you in pain?” He jumped out of the chair and ran to my side.
“Sorry, I thought I was alone.” I sat up as much as I could and looked around for Titan. The last thing I remembered was Titan carrying me down the stairs.
“He’s not here.” Force said.
“Can you get him? I need to see him. I need him.” I admitted.
“Lacie, we had to make a deal with Woods and Hall. They had eyes on the Hellfire’s and Titan knew it. He traded his freedom for yours.” He kept talking, but I couldn’t hear anything.
Without Titan they might as well have let me die. I can’t live without him. I didn’t want to live without him. Flesh wounds were nothing compared to my mental state and my heart. I loved Titan inside and out. He was my rebellious soul and my whole reason for living.
“Lacie stop. What are you doing? The doctor said you have to stay here for a few days. You have hundreds of stitches and they are afraid if you move too much they will pop.” Force put his hands in the few places I didn’t have stitches trying to make me stay in bed.
“I have to see him. I can’t fucking lay here knowing he is in jail because of me.” I could barely talk between sobs and tears. “I love him Force.”
“I know Lace, he told me about Oklahoma. As much as I hate to say it, he loves you too. He must love you a lot. He took the fall for a lot of shit and they will probably lock him up forever.” Force confessed.

Lacie
The doctors kept me sedated for days so I would stay calm. I kind of freaked out after Force told me about Titan turning himself in for the club. After a few days they let me come too so I could answer questions and go through a psych evaluation.
The hospital was very interested in finding out who my brother was and where I was living. No one came out and said I was fired, but I could see it on their judgmental faces. It was for the best. I couldn’t think about going back to work. The only life I wanted to save was Titan’s.
Sara showed up while I was sedated and took over. Force said she was in total control with the nurses. I didn’t doubt it. She was a natural born leader. She is the one who convinced them to release me into her care.
It was weird being at the clubhouse without Titan. The guys were great and I didn’t want for anything. Some of my minor cuts had healed, but I still had stitches in the deeper ones. I have an appointment next week with the plastic surgeon to discuss the scars.
I hadn’t spent much time thinking about the physical scars. It was the emotional ones that were killing me. Sometimes the pain was too much to bear. When Razor was cutting me open I didn’t think anything could ever hurt that bad. I was so wrong, this pain was much worse.
Most nights Force was shaking me to wake me up from the horrible nightmares. I would be covered in sweat and crying uncontrollably. He would stay with me until I fell asleep again. I never told him what the nightmares were about and he never ask.
Every nightmare was the same. I was running, running so fast in the dark. There were trees everyw
here, but I was running down a clear path to a light. I was barefoot and only had a night gown on. As soon as I came into the light I could see Titan. He was dead.
Razor and Pagan had killed him. I would reach out for him and Razor would cut me with the knife and laugh. Pagan would hit me across the face knocking me down. I would crawl to him and reach out again, but Razor was there with the knife. He would cut me so hard and I could never reach Titan. I just sat on the cold ground and yelled Titan’s name.
Every nightmare was the same, Titan was dead and I couldn’t reach him.
I had tried everything to find Titan, but the ATF said he was at an undisclosed location and couldn’t have visitors until they were done with the investigation. I just wanted to know if he was okay. I needed to know he was breathing.
Then maybe I could breathe again.

Force
“What?” I yelled into the phone at Vinny.
“Prez we got company. Looks like black sedan coming down the road. I’m thinking unmarked cop car.” Vinny replied.
“Great that’s just what I need right now. How close is it?” I barked.
“Pulling in Prez. What do you want me to do?”
“Open the gate. I’ll meet them outside.” I said and hung up the phone.
This is not what I needed right now. We were trying to go legit, but that was easier said than done. Lacie had been home three weeks and had nightmares every night. I was averaging 3 to 4 hours sleep a night. I did not need some nosy cop up my ass right now.
“Logan, come on. Vinny said an unmarked car just pulled in.” I said as I walked through the main room never stopping.
“What the fuck?” He whined and hit the bar.
We didn’t keep anything at the clubhouse that could get us into trouble, but that didn’t stop the ATF from storming in and fucking shit up. It didn’t happen often, but when it did it was a real inconvenience.
Vinny was right it was an unmarked cop car. I could spot them from a mile away. This one was different. It was newer with less antennas. This was a fed car.
