She nudged his foot with her own, and he looked down, then nearly choked. She wore sexy white high-heeled sandals that showed off her bright red toenail polish to perfection. But the clincher was the little glittery heart she had glued on each toe.
The wedding passed in a haze. Zac didn’t notice anything except Libby. He was conscious of every move she made, every breath she took, and finally he was conscious that she was really and truly his. And as he pulled her into his arms, he heard Victoria call out “Da.” He jerked his head around and she smiled, lifted her arms, and said again “Da.”
With unashamed tears in his eyes Zac strode down the aisle of the church with his beautiful new bride on one arm and his beautiful new daughter in the other.
