Anywhooo, cooking … if we decide to cook tonight, I think we should cook WITH WINE. Malbec? (Yes, that was a subtle hint that I am dying to take your clothes off. Quickie in my office? Oh no I d-i-d-n-t! Oh yes I did!)

P.S. I deactivated my eHarmony account, and I defriended Marty on Facebook. I can show you tonight if you require proof. ;-)

I’m absolutely crazy about you. Have I mentioned that today yet? I think I have already, oh, maybe a dozen or hundred or even thousand times, but if I haven’t, I’M CRAZY ABOUT YOU IN EVERY WAY. I think you are just amazing. And, I can’t believe it’s taken THIS long for me to figure it out. What an idiot, I was an idiot. Of course, you were an idiot, too. We were both idiots. Let’s celebrate the fact that we’re NOT idiots anymore!!!

Done and done. As if we don’t see each other enough at night, I think we should make lunch a standing engagement. ;-)
Oh, how about a movie tonight? I’m starting to get movie withdrawal as I haven’t seen nearly enough movies in the past week to feed my creative spirit (not that I’ve minded spending every waking moment in the bedroom with you … ). Let’s do a 7-ish show? Then, we can hit up Desi Indian Spice. If we’re up for a drink post-movie, let’s hit The W!!! Pink champagne just may be in store.
Meet you downstairs at noon. I’m craving egg salad. You?

Shall we try again for a movie tonight? ;-) Not that last night’s escapade wasn’t completely and utterly worth it (damn I say!). I am now convinced that we really cannot spend a night outside of the bedroom.

Morton’s
Hey Handsome,
I made a reservation for us for 8 PM at Morton’s. That was a brilliant idea on your part. Shall we dress up? Oh, I know it’s a school night, but let’s go all out. I’m thinking … start with cocktails beforehand … Single Malt Scotch for you, of course … full-bodied Cab for me … then Caesar salad and stuffed mushrooms pregame … rib eye medium rare for me, filet mignon medium rare for you … creamed spinach and sautéed asparagus … famous mud pie dessert for you while I sip port and stare hopelessly romantically adoringly in your eyes over candlelight …
How did I do? Did I set the set the scene well for what I have in mind tonight?

Re: Holy Smokes!
And, speaking of “love” …
I’m entering my one-month anniversary on Match (no teasing allowed since Izzy had the best first date of her life with that eHarm dude). Each night, I come home to an inbox full of e-mails from crazies. Words can’t describe these e-mails—only the real things will do. Here’s my favorite crazy so far:
Hi Annette:
I hope your weekend is going well. I have been on Match.com off and on for a couple of years and have met a lot of people. I really only dated two. I only count it dating if you both kiss. The rest were just first meetings. But I have found that after reading a profile and looking at pictures I know whether or not I want to date someone. And while I am quick to make that decision, I really like for a “relationship” to develop at a natural (usually slower) pace.
The things I like about you:
1. Pollyanna (have you actually seen any of those movies … I did as a kid … LOL) … yes … you ooze of being positive. Me too. In fact, I have slowly exercised my life of all negative people. It is amazing how much better a day is when we smile and are friendly to each other.
2. Intelligent, attractive (and I am guessing charming and funny too … but that’s just a gut feeling) …
3. You have a pretty full life. It makes communicating with you a little tough to start with … but I really like the fact that you seem to have a pretty good life and finding someone would be like fitting in the last piece of the puzzle rather than filling some sort of chasm.
4. Independent … that is a prerequisite for me to date anyone. Why anyone would want anything less from each other … I don’t have a clue … but then I have never really understood codependency …
Are you a codependent? I hope not.
So … that’s why I keep e-mailing you.
I know I want to meet you.
I have no clue what will happen next … Kissing, I hope.
Here’s my number … call if you would like to chat or set something up … I hope my being direct isn’t a turn off. Some have found that to be a little overpowering. But I am a pretty direct and very open person. And, overpowering. My suspicion is that a woman like you will appreciate that.

Deliriously so. That was so sweet!!!! I have been dying to try La Rez! Ooooh, I’m going to log on to the menu now and pick out my meal in advance! BRB …
OK, just looked at the menu. I’m going to get the salmon tartar to start with, then the Asian fusion beef stew noodles. If I know you, you’ll get the lobster and start with the curry puffs.
How’s your day going? I made a list of all the fun things I want us to do together in the near future (when we get tired of “staying in” all the time, tee hee). I really want to try this Greek restaurant on Cheshire Bridge Road. Love Greek food. Reminds me of when I went to Greece with my parents when I was eighteen, ah memories. I also thought we’d take Thea for a walk in the park this Saturday if the weather’s nice. Sound good? I figure we really do need to start exercising again (no, we can’t “exercise” like THAT exclusively, I know exactly what you’re thinking). Also, let’s see Twelfth Night at The New American Shakespeare Tavern. It’s opening soon. I’ll buy tickets if you give me the go-ahead. What else? God, the world is our oyster. I AM SO HAPPY!!!
