Holy shit. Peter just told me he loves me. Well, he e-mailed it. But, same thing. OMG. HE TOLD ME HE LOVES ME!!!!!!
I love that boy. I absolutely love him. And, I know it’s too soon to be saying such things. But, I do. We’ve known each other for two years now. So, we’re not rushing it, right? I love him. I love everything about him. But, HE actually said I LOVE YOU FIRST. How most unexpected and against character. I love him. I’m going to tell him. I’m going to tell him tonight. I won’t respond to the e-mail. I’m going to just let the e-mail go for now so as not to make a big deal about it. And then, tonight, casually over dinner, I’m simply going to look at him across the table and say “I love you.” Or, should I wait until we’re lying next to each other in bed? Should I say it then? I’m a grown woman. I’m thirty years old. I sound like I’ve never been in this position before. But, I haven’t. I’ve never been this absolutely mad in love before. OK, maybe when I was twenty-four years old, but not since. I love him. I’m going to tell him tonight. Over dinner. Not in bed. And, not casually. I’m going to make a big deal about it so he knows that I feel exactly the same way. Wow. I’m in love, in love, in love with that boy. Over the moon …

Hey Baby,
So, I talked to someone in the leasing office this morning, and they said a two bedroom will be available for us to move into in about two weeks. We can see it tonight after work, if we have time. It’s a spacious two bedroom, two bath (one of the baths has a Jacuzzi tub so we’re set ;-)), a large living room, and a balcony that overlooks the park. Rent is $1,700 so that’s $850 a month each. Great idea on your part.

My Love,
I booked the movers for April 26th. I told them we’re moving two apartments into one bigger apartment in the same complex, and they said it should take three hours tops. We can pack everything ourselves this weekend to save some money. Let’s have fun with it—bottle of wine (Malbec?), some good takeout, pack some boxes, fool around a little ON the boxes, etc., etc., and so forth.
I am SO excited!!! BRILLIANT idea. There was NO reason for us to be spending DOUBLE rent when we basically live with each other anyway! And, besides, we’re ready. We know that.
So, how about La Rez for drinks tonight? Let’s go to the gym (so we don’t feel guilty about eating our brains out afterwards) and then head over. Sound like a plan?

Of course, on the surface it would appear too soon for that as we’ve only been dating a month.
