I kept my hands busy and tried to appear unaffected by his touch. “No, actually that I understood, I know your busy. The fact that you show up here and act like last night didn’t happen pisses me off. Are we in hiding? No one can know about us or what? Was it just sex? Should I pretend I don’t know you in public?” I knew I was being dramatic but he was supposed to be so busy today, yet here he was, with her.

Evan twisted me in his arms and looked at me intensely. “Baby I’m not ashamed of us. It was not just sex. You threw me off earlier when you said you were disappointed. I haven’t had a chance to talk to any of my family about us. Alexis is a family friend and she tends to be very protective of me.”

I laughed sarcastically, “Protective? I would say it’s much more than that Evan. She obviously has feelings for you. How could you not see that?” I pulled away and walked off to begin refilling cups. The next time I looked both Evan and Alexis were gone. I hated how I felt about them leaving together. I didn’t even know her, but I knew she cared for him, that was evident.

Three o’clock came quickly, and I stopped by the store before picking up Emma. When I pulled into my driveway my phone began ringing. Seeing Evan’s number made my stomach flutter immediately. “Hello,” I was feeling extremely insecure.

“Hi beautiful, are you still mad at me?”

I was a little hurt by the entire day. “Should I be mad Evan? I feel like maybe you’re hiding us.”

I heard him let out a deep calming breath, “Kylie, I’m not ashamed of you or of us. I talked to my mother right after we left the restaurant this morning. She wants to meet you.”

I couldn’t help but ask, “Did you ever date Alexis? It just seems like you two have a connection.”

He sounded a little irritated with my question. “It isn’t like that with her. Yes, our parents have tried to make that happen, but we’re just friends.”

Yeah right friends, I knew from experience just how hard it is to be “Just friends” with Evan. Alexis definitely wanted more than that from him. “I don’t think she likes me much Evan. She glared at me like I was a disgusting street walker.”

There was a long silence, “I want you to accompany me to a dinner tomorrow evening. You will have the chance to meet my family and I can show you that I in fact am not hiding that I care about you. It is a fundraiser we sponsor yearly. You can dress up and allow me to escort a beautiful woman to the event.”

My heart raced, “I don’t have anything to wear to something like that Evan. Just go and we’ll talk later.”

“I was hoping I could see you tonight. Do you care if I stop by when I’m finished up at work?”

I couldn’t help but smile, “I’ll see you later.” I hung up feeling like I wasn’t good enough for him. Alexis and Evan just looked like they belong together. I was beneath his class; who was I kidding?

Emma fell asleep on my lap while we watched a movie. I lifted her slowly and I carried her into her room. As I was walking out of Emma’s room I heard a knock on the door. I already knew it was Evan. I made my way to the door and he smiled when I looked up at him. “Hi beautiful girl, I missed you.” He came forward and kissed me sweetly. I allowed him to back me into the apartment closing the door behind him. He whispered between kisses, “You are perfect for me Kylie. Don’t’ question that, please.”

I tried to ignore the voice in my head that was disagreeing with him. I ran my hands into his hair and kissed him, sucking his lower lip lightly between mine. A low groan escaped Evan as he pushed me up against the wall next to the door. I lifted his shirt over his head and his lips met mine again. He held me to the wall with his hips pinning me. I could feel his erection against my stomach.

I heard something hit the floor behind him, “What was that?” He pulled back resting his forehead against mine. After taking a calming breath he explained. “It’s for tomorrow night. I picked you up something. I really want you to be there with me baby. I don’t want to hide us. Please come with me.” Evan bent down and lifted the box from the floor. He carried it to the kitchen counter and slowly lifted the lid.

I was in awe by the contents of the package. He had bought me a dress and shoes. A gorgeous light blue silk dress with silver accessories, it was absolutely beautiful. The blue almost matched his eyes perfectly. “Evan it’s beautiful, but you shouldn’t buy-“

He quickly interrupted me by placing his finger against my lips. “Kylie, I enjoy buying you and Emma things. I told you to get used to it. Please don’t deny me that.”

After I stared at him for a few moments I took his hand into mine. I led him to the couch and crawled onto his lap straddling him. He watched me without speaking a word. I kissed him slowly as I rotated my hips feeling him harden beneath me. He gripped my hips as he grinded himself up into me. Feeling how turned on he was, made me want to please him. I wanted him to know how much I wanted him, needed him. I slid down him until my knees were on the floor and I was in front of him. I began undoing his pants, while I watched his eyes closely. His breathing was strained as he lifted his hips slightly, allowing me to lower them to the floor. Seeing Evan with his enormous erection resting on his stomach drove me to a new level of arousal. I gripped him within my fist, slowly stroking him. I looked up into his eyes as I slowly lowered my lips to the head of his cock. Lightly I licked the tip, and his hips lifted slightly.

“Oh baby, damn,” he watched my lips as I took him into my mouth. I ran my tongue over his entire length before sinking him deep once again. I felt him raise his hips upwards again into my awaiting mouth. He reached forward fisting my hair to hold it back. He slowly began pumping his hips, stroking himself with my lips. I allowed him to fuck my mouth at his pace. The look on his face was such a turn on. “Holy fuck baby, this is so hot. You have the sweetest mouth.” He moved so quickly, as he lifted me up to straddle him. “I don’t want to come in your mouth. I want to fuck you.” He flipped me over and pulled my leggings off.

He reached into his pants pocket and pulled out a condom. “Pretty presumptuous weren’t you?”

He shrugged, “A guy can hope can’t he?” I smiled in return before he rolled it onto his awaiting hardness. As he positioned himself between my thighs, he looked into my eyes while slowly sinking into me. I gasped at the fullness. I hadn’t realized I was sore from last night until now. “Did I hurt you?”

I shook my head, “No I’m fine, really don’t stop.”

He moved slowly at first. “You feel so good Kylie. You have such a sweet, sexy, tight little body...Fuck baby!” He grabbed my waist and began thrusting into me harder and faster. I was panting as the pressure built and my toes curled. He slammed into me over and over with such aggression.

All at once I exploded screaming his name, “Evan…Yes oh yes!” His pace never once slowed. He pumped into me over and over. It was intense; nothing like our first time together. It was hot and erotic…it was raw and heated. The sweat ran down his chest as he continued to pump his hips, rotating before slamming into me again. I started thrusting myself forward to meet him feeling myself build once again. I felt myself tense as the orgasm built within me.

“Come on baby, come with me…let go Kylie. Fucking come with me baby!” I tensed and it washed over me as I threw my head back and he slammed into me again and again. “Oh hell yeah, Fuck yes! Oh baby!” He held my hips tightly as he released himself deep inside me. He fell forward against me and buried his face into the pillow above my head. We allowed our breathing to slow together. I felt the slickness of his chest seep through my shirt. “I’m sorry,” he whispered.

I was confused what exactly was he apologizing for, “For what Evan?”

He took a deep breath and rose up to look at me, “I was really rough with you, and I shouldn’t have been.”

I traced my fingertip across his frown line and down onto his cheek. “Evan you weren’t rough. It was amazing…honestly, it was really sexy.”

He watched my face looking for any sign of hesitance. “I was scar
ed I hurt you. Are you sure you’re okay?”

I laughed, “Evan stop, really I’m okay. It was so good. I mean it.” I sat up and kissed him.

“Well there’s only one thing I can think of at this very moment that I want.” He watched me closely and then continued, “I need to take you to bed and make love to you… slowly this time.” He leaned forward, kissing me softly, “Can I spend the night baby, if I promise to say goodbye this time?”

He kissed me again and I nodded my head, “That sounds good to me.”

  ~Twenty One~

  (Kylie)

Evan kept his promise; he was still in my bed when I woke up. Feeling him lightly kiss my neck and collarbone was the perfect way to start my day. His body slowly slid over mine and I felt the ripples of his stomach with my fingertips. I silently thanked god for having him in my life as he slowly said goodbye. I loved every moment of it. Morning sex with Evan has become a new favorite of mine for sure.

I called Sarah to come over and help me get my hair ready for my night out with Evan. I was so nervous and had to continuously talk myself out of cancelling. I had no idea how to act at a fundraiser with a bunch of rich business people. I felt sick to my stomach all day.

“Will you breathe girl, you’re turning pale. He invited you. Evan wants you there, nothing else should matter.” I took a deep breath as Sarah continued with my hair. I was so glad I knew someone who knew how to make it presentable. I could’ve never accomplished an up-do by myself.

I looked into the mirror spinning side to side looking at her masterpiece, “Sarah it’s perfect, thank you. I love it.” She had left loose curls floating down framing my face. It looked as if I just stepped out of a salon and I found myself wondering why Sarah didn’t do this as a profession.

I picked Emma up of the floor, “How does Momma’s hair look baby girl? Do I look pretty?” Emma giggled as I tickled her tummy.

Sarah volunteered to sit with her tonight; she had really become a good friend of mine. I hadn’t had many girlfriends and having her around seemed to make things a little better. It was great having someone to share things with.

“So is he good? The rich, hot, built beefcake…he’s good isn’t he?” I laughed at Sarah as she grabbed a bottle of water from the fridge.

“You’re crazy.” I couldn’t help but smile at the thought of Evan, “Hell yes, he’s better than good…he’s Epic.” She about spit her water out and started coughing. She was looking over my shoulder trying to stop coughing.

“Walking in on the conversations you two have is always so beneficial. I get to hear all kinds of ‘need to know information’.” He lightly laughed and I let my head fall forward into my hands, groaning. I felt his hands slide around my waist, as he pulled me back against him. “Epic, huh?” He whispered into my ear. I could have died that very moment from embarrassment. I snuck down the hall to get dressed, hearing his deep chuckle fading behind me.

When I walked out thirty minutes later wearing my dress and shoes, both Evan and Sarah just stared. I looked down at myself and then back up to meet their eyes. “Do I look okay?” Evan stood from the couch and placed Emma onto the floor next to her toys. He slowly walked toward me, never letting his eyes leave mine.

He scanned my body from head to toe. “Baby you look stunning, absolutely beautiful Kylie. You’re gorgeous.” He lifted my chin and kissed me so softly, my knee’s felt weak from his touch. He looked at me with such awe and I felt a tightening within my chest at the silent affection. He took my hand into his and led me to the door.

Once we said our goodbyes he helped me into car. His eyes continued to watch me as we drove to the hotel. “Evan you need to watch the road,” I smiled at him.

“If you weren’t so damn sexy maybe I wouldn’t be compelled to stare. I’m not sure how I’m going to keep my hands off you tonight.” He brushed my knuckles against his lips and I squeezed my thighs together tightly, attempting to ease the need his touch excited in me.

Once we pulled next to the curb, the valet opened my door. Evan met me, took my hand into his and guided me into the lobby. “Don’t be nervous, baby, you’re already turning heads.” I looked around noticing people looking toward us. I was sure they weren’t looking because of me. They knew Evan was the one with the deep pockets. We made our way into the dining room and it was full of so many people in beautiful clothing. I was intimidated by the entire scene, but I tried to appear unaffected. I knew I was out of my league. The goal of the night was not to embarrass myself or Evan.

Evan introduced me as his girlfriend, and every time he said it I couldn’t help but smile. I spotted Alexis as she approached us with a sour look on her face. She immediately rose onto her feet and placed a kiss onto Evan’s cheek. “You look gorgeous Evan, as always.” I could tell she was choosing to ignore me on his arm.

“Thank you Alex, you remember Kylie.”

She turned to face me and painted on her fake smile, “Oh yes the waitress.” I immediately felt like smacking her.

Evan’s hand slipped to my waist pulling me closer, “Alex, enough!”

She laughed, “I’m just playing Evan.” She leaned in closer to me, “It’s nice to see you again Kylie.”

Evan looked toward her with his lips pressed tightly. “Where are my parents?” Alexis reached out and picked off an invisible piece of lint from Evan’s Tux.

“Millie is working the room, you know her. Walter, he’s with my father by the bar, I’m sure.” She was so smug, I instantly hated her. I knew what she was up to, making every attempt to intimidate me.

I immediately decided I wasn’t going to allow her to make me feel unwelcomed. I turned into Evan, and allowed my hand to slide across his stomach just under the edge of his jacket. When he placed his lips to my forehead, Alexis tensed. I couldn’t help but smile. “Let’s get a drink, baby,” he whispered lightly.

The look on Alexis’s face when he called me “baby” was one I will never forget. I held back the laugh that threatened to escape. He continued to hold my hand securely in his. I looked around as we made our way over to the bar. “Have I told you how gorgeous you look?”

I looked up at him as he leaned forward, kissing the corner of my mouth. “Maybe, but I’ll never get tired of hearing it,” I bit my lip between my teeth.

Evan looked at my lips and just shook his head blowing out a deep breath. “I’m ready to get you alone, and peel you out of that dress.”

I was about to respond when I heard, “Evan, son over here.” I turned seeing a man with silver hair leaning against the bar waving Evan over. “Here he is, my right hand man.” His father slapped his hand onto Evan’s shoulder and squeezed. He released my hand and I stood back allowing his father to gloat. “This man here is the brains. He’s driven and focused. Evan keeps everything running smoothly.” The men laughed and chatted further about things that were well above my head.

Just when I was about to sneak away to the restroom, Evan grabbed my hand and pulled me in closer. “Father, I would like to meet Kylie. Kylie this is my father, Walter.”

His dad took my hand into his and placed a kiss onto the top. “Pleased to meet Kylie, Evan talks of you often.” I wasn’t sure if that pleased him, his expression was hard to read.

“Nice to meet you to Sir, I’ve heard a lot about you as well.” He nodded his head as he turned to the bartender and retrieved two glasses of wine. I almost said I wasn’t old enough, but Evan shook his head.

He leaned down whispering, “No one is checking ID’s, drink.” It couldn’t hurt; maybe it would calm my nerves. It was a little over a week and I would be twenty one anyway.

“Have you found your mother yet?” I turned to see Evan’s father scanning the room looking for his wife. “I know she‘s been waiting to meet your friend.” My eyes connected with Walter’s when he said friend and that’s when I saw it, his disapproval, it was written all over his face. It felt like my throat was closing up. I felt warm all of a sudden like the room was shrinking in
around me. I tried to pull my hand from Evan’s but he gripped harder.

He pulled me closer and wrapped his arm around my waist. “Are you okay baby?” he whispered close before kissing my temple. I just nodded my head and look up quickly to his father. He was watching Evan’s every move.

“Could you excuse me for a moment?”

Evan looked down to me, “Can you wait one minute? Here comes my mother.” I looked up at a dark haired bombshell. She was perfectly dressed, with shiny black hair and perfect olive skin. She was flawless and she turned heads as she walked in our direction. I immediately knew where Evan got his gorgeous complexion and hair color. Once she reached us, I looked into the bluest of blue eyes. She was a beauty. Looking past her, I was once again facing Alexis.

Evan kissed his mother’s cheek, “Mother, I’d like you to meet Kylie.”

She reached out and squeezed my hand, “Kylie, hello dear, Evan said you were beautiful and he wasn’t lying. I’m Millicent. Everyone calls me Millie and it’s lovely to finely meet you.” Her introduction didn’t make me quite as nervous as his father’s did.

I felt Evan’s fingertips grazing my back lightly brushing back and forth. It was calming and I allowed myself to relax into him, while everyone continued to socialize. Alexis stayed close and watched Evan interact with me. His fingertips continued to graze my exposed back lightly.

We eventually made our way to our table. Evan sat on one side of me and Alexis sat on his opposite side. Every time she reached out to touch him I felt a knot in my stomach. I hated her hands on him. Dinner was served and the conversation was light. My appetite was weak from the disapproving looks I was still receiving from his father. What made it worse was the way he continuously brought up Alexis and her accomplishments. He glowed with joy when talking about her. In complete honesty it was actually somewhat strange.

“Evan, do you remember that summer we all spent two weeks in Cozumel? You tried Parasailing; that was the funniest thing I’ve ever witnessed.” She leaned forward to face me, “Evan is terrified of heights. It’s been an ongoing thing to tease him about. Oh, and he hates flying, he always makes me take the window seat.” I could see what she was doing and it was working.
