"Why are you saying sorry?"
"Brett said I was good for you. That I should never leave you and that you need me." I felt the tears pour again. "And I know that I am hurting you. I will hurt you like Debbie did."
Maxwell pulled me onto his lap and hugged me tightly. "Don't ever think you're like her. She just used me for a baby, somewhere to live and money. The minute she met someone else she was gone." He pushed some hair out of my face. "I knew the circumstances when I met you, Georgina. Falling in love you was an accident. A wonderful accident and I don't regret anything we have done."
"What about Blake?"
"But Blake nothing" He shook his head. "I know one day you may or may not marry him." His voice trailed off and he took in a deep breath. "I'll just deal with it when it happens. At the moment we are here together and no one should get in the way of it."
"If that is what you want” I sniffed.
"One more thing, can you stop running off every time something gets a little difficult?"
I gave a little smile. It was true, I was getting into a habit – I ran home in London, his place and now the bar. I wrapped my arms around him and hugged him tight. For a whole weekend I was his.
"Oh, Maxwell" I buried my head to his chest. "What will you do with me?"
"I'll....." he lifted my head so his lips rested on mine. "Kiss you softly." I gave a little groan and his tongue softly massaged mine. "Then I'll unzip this little hot dress." His fingers found my zip and slowly he undid it, freeing my breasts. His hand cupped one and his fingers began their teasing on my nipples. I felt my body exploded below and my back arched with his touch.
He scooped me up in his strong arms and my dress hung around my waist. He carried me over to the sofa and laid me down. "Now, I'm going to give you exactly what you crave."
I slowly licked my lips. Every inch of this man was perfect. I craved his touch, his scent, his body, his heart and him so much it hurt. I could feel the desperate need inside me build. I was aching for him.
He rested in between my legs and pulled the skirt of my dress up. "This is going to be quick, because I haven't had my fix of you in a while."
I raised an eyebrow, now I was his fix? He placed his fingertips on the sides of my thong and pulled it off. Just before he discarded thong he gave it a quick sniff. I blushed with embarrassment. Did he actually just do that?
"Don't look shocked, Miss Dawson" he laughed as he discarded them. "You smell heavenly."
I watched as he slowly undid his zip and his large ridged manhood freed its self. I bit down on my lip. I loved the way he tasted. He lowered his body down on me, pressing me into the sofa. Itch by itch he filled me up. I moaned and arched my back again. He felt so good there.
Without warning he began to slam into me repetitively, I hooked my arms around his neck and pulled his lips down to mine. Enjoying the weight of his body and the taste of his mouth. The sweet feeling of him entering and withdrawing. Before I knew I could feel that sensation rip through my body. I kissed him harder as the orgasm took it holds and gave my body its sweet release. Maxwell slammed harder and found his own.
He slumped down on top of me and we lay clinging on to each. Listening to each others ragged breathing. "Oh, Miss Dawson" he inhaled. "Every time you make me come like an explosion." He kissed my cheek and rested his head on my chest.
"ER... UM,"
We both looked at each in shock and slowly our eyes looked over at the front door. A tall young red hair girl was staring at us, her eyes were narrowed and her mouth tight.
Maxwell quickly took off his jacket and threw it over me. "Amber!" He yelled. "What the FUCK are you doing here?"
She slammed the door shut and crossed her arms. "Seriously, you want me to explain while you're in that position." She rolled her eyes and picked up her bag. "I'm going to put this in my room and when I get back." She raised an eyebrow. "You'll have sorted yourself out."
She left the room. Maxwell jumped up and sorted himself out. I stood pulling my dress back up and smoothed it down my legs. Maxwell came behind me, moved my hair and did the zip back up.
"Who is she?" I asked.
"My sister" Maxwell laughed, he turned me round to face him. "I have no idea what she is doing here."
"I'm here because I wanted to get away" she snapped as she made her entrance. "You may own everything, but you don't own this place." Her eyes turned in my direction. "Where did you pick this one up from?"
My mouth dropped open. What a bitch! Who the hell did she think she was?
I glared at Maxwell. He was giving her the cold glare. She had offended him too.
Maxwell tilted his head to the side. "The woman you're talking about is my girlfriend and her name is Georgina Dawson. So say you’re sorry, NOW!" He yelled.
Amber lowered her eyes. I think she felt bad. "I'm sorry" and she gave me a genuine smile which I returned. "What are you doing here?"
Maxwell walked over to the sofa and sat down. He took out his cigarette pack out of his pocket and lit one up. "I and Georgina are here for the weekend." His eyes glared at Amber as he exhaled the smoke. “Does Mum know you're here?"
“NO!" she snorted. "She thinks I'm at Uni."
"Then why aren't you?" he snapped.
I went and sat down next to him. I felt a little awkward being in the middle of sibling rivalry. He placed an arm round my shoulder and pulled me into him.
Amber sat down opposite us and gave out a little scream. "They're driving me round the bend. Everyone is on my case, the teachers, the parents and now you!" She ran a hand through her hair. "I'm coming up to 20 years old and I'm getting treated like a 15 year old."
Maxwell shook his head and gave a little laugh. "What did you do now?" A little amusement filled his voice and Amber stared down at her hands. By all means Maxwell knew his little sister well.
"I got thrown off one of my courses and if my attendance doesn't improve I could get thrown out completely."
"Why did you get thrown out?" Both Maxwell and Amber looked at me. Whoops, did I say that out loud? I shifted in my seat and looked down at my own hands. I felt uncomfortable now. Me and my big mouth. It was always getting the better of me.
"Oh you know, just the usual" she casually waved her hand. "Partying too much, not doing homework or my assignments. Not attending exams and basically not bothering to show up." She took in a deep breath and smiled. "So, I get to spend a whole weekend with my big brother and his beautiful girlfriend?"
"Looks like it" Maxwell mumbled. "Even though I wish you weren't here." He stumped out his cigarette and stretched out his arms whilst he yawned. "Anyway, I'm beat. Georgina shell we?" His eye beamed at me and it made my heart stop for a second. I nodded and he grabbed my hand. "Night, Amber" and we left heading for the bedroom.
Once we were safely inside we burst into a roar of laughter. Oh my god, that was really embarrassing. I placed a hand over my mouth. "Has that happened before?"
Maxwell shook his head and tried to control his laughter. "No. Did you see her face?" He mimicked her expression and it was a good likeness. "God, I haven't laughed like that in a while." He took a deep breath and smiled. "It could only happen with you, Miss Dawson." He strolled over and hugged me tightly. "Now, bed!"
With that I got ready for bed, slipped in next to him and fell into a deep sleep.
CHAPTER 13
Maxwell
I opened my eyes and for a few seconds I had to think where I was. I looked up at the drapes and the white posts of the bed. A massive smile appeared on my face. I had slept well. I felt relaxed for the first time which felt like forever.
I turned over and looked at my sleeping beauty. I ran a finger down her cheek. She was beautiful even while she slept. I could lay here and watch her all day. Slowly she opened her eyes and gave me a sleepy smile.
"Morning," I whispered as she pulled herself into me. I grabbed her hard and tight. I never wanted to let her go. It was bad enough I had to share her with that shit brick. I
felt my mouth tighten, why was I thinking about him?
I was the one waking up to this princess. I was the one making claims on her body. He had claimed her for life. I closed my eyes and took in her scent.
"I'm hungry" she yawned.
"Are you? Well, let's go and see what we can do about that." I got out of bed and grabbed a T-shirt. I watched Georgina get up and straighten out her hair. She looked cute in her pink Pyjamas. A wicked smile appeared to my lips as I recalled last night. "Come" I ordered, she followed as I led her into the living room.
There was my worst nightmare sitting at the table. She had already cooked for us.
"Hey," Amber smiled. "I was just about to wake you. I cooked you breakfast. Eggs, bacon, toast, fresh orange juice and coffee." Me and Georgina made our way over and sat down. "I wanted to say sorry for what I said to you." Her eyes looked over at Georgina. "I was out of order."
"It's okay" Georgina smiled.
"I thought we could all spend the day together. Hang out on the beach. I invited Brett." Amber began to dish out the food.
I rolled my eyes. Why did she have to run away this weekend? I didn't want to spend time with her. I had plans for me and Georgina. I didn't want my little sister tagging along. She was annoying and would chat forever if allowed. I looked over at Georgina, she loved happy and relaxed.
"Besides," Amber began. "If you're going to be family, I need to get to know you."
"Family," Georgina chocked on what was in her mouth.
"The ring" Amber laughed, looking at Georgina's hand. "I noticed it last night. I didn’t want to say anything."
I glared down at the ring. Why was she still wearing it? Shit face wasn't here. "It's not an engagement ring" I spat. Georgina quickly whipped it off and placed it on the other hand.
"I must have put it on the wrong hand when I washed them." I witnessed the terror in her face. She knew it had gotten to me. I had scared her and it hurt. I grabbed her hand and held it tight. She gazed over at me. "Honestly."
I had to lighten the mood. This wasn't exactly what I had planned. "Will Brett be bringing Libby?"
"Libby?" Amber asked. "What happened to the wife?"
"The wife is long gone!" Georgina laughed, copying Libby's tone from last night.
I was amazed, a bitchy Georgina? I liked her. Amber raised an eyebrow as if she was deep in thought. I had seen that face before, she was plotting something. So it looked like we were spending the day at the beach.
It could be worse. I could have been home alone and Georgina with Blake. Right that was it. I was no longer going to think about that prick. I was going to enjoy myself with Georgina. Nothing better than to stare at the woman you loved wearing a bikini.
Georgina looked up biting her lip. I loved how we thought alike. "I don't have any beach wear" Georgina blushed. That's why she was biting her lip.
"You can borrow some of mine" Amber clapped with delight. Maybe today wasn't going to be that bad after all.
"You can't wear that" I hissed as Georgina pulled off her T-shirt and exposed the bikini top Amber had lent her. It looked like a blue piece of material held up with string. I looked around, she was already attracting admirers.
"Mr Thomas," she bent down and looked me directly in the eye. "Are you worried about the competition?" She kissed my lips and laughed. I grabbed hold of her and pulled her down on to the sun bed. I climbed on top of her pinning her hands above her head.
"Should I be?" I hissed through my teeth. "Miss Dawson, you know exactly how to get to me" I began to kiss her deeply. I loved this woman too much. It was scary, but a wonderful new experience.
“Oh my god, get a room!" It was Amber. This weekend was turning out to be a huge flop. Just like me at the sound of her whiny voice. I looked up and she was glaring down at us with her hands on her hips. Brett was standing next to her without Libby.
"Delight to see you." I snapped. I sat up and ran a hand through my hair.
"You too mate" Brett smiled as he took one of the sun beds. "Georgina," he nodded in her direction.
"Brett," she mumbled, avoiding any eye contact with him. I bet she was still awkward after last night. I was glad Brett could see how she affected me. I was a better person around her. She had opened my eyes and given me a whole new lease of life.
I glanced over and watched her take her place in the sun. The sun made her golden hair shine. I lay down next to her and she snuggled up to me. Shame we were out in public. I was starting to get that urge. This woman controlled every aspect of my body and it was frustrating at times.
"What's the plan for today then?" Brett asked, pulling bottles out of his bag.
"I know what I've got planned" I whispered huskily in Georgina's ear. She looked up and blushed. Brett handed me a bottle and I studied it. Beer. At this time in the morning?
“Not for me" I handed it back.
Amber laughed and opened hers. "Showing your age already, old man."
I narrowed my eyes. "Exactly why are you here again?" I scowled.
"Maxwell shut up, you're not my Dad!" She scowled back. "You seriously have a problem. You don't know how to have fun."
I shot up. "I do know how to have fun." All three of them were looking at me with little smiles on their faces. "I do!" I snatched the bottle back off Brett, opened it and took a big mouthful. It tasted cheap and horrid.
"You're going to regret what you said, Amber Thomas." I cringed at the after taste.
"I need water" Georgina stood up. "Are you coming?" She said suggestively.
"I'll come with you" Amber jumped up. Damn her, she was getting in the way already. "We can have a girly chat." They strolled off leaving me and Brett behind.
"What's the deal?" Brett asked as soon as they were out of earshot. I whipped round and glared at him. What the fuck was he on about? “Why did she run away last night?" He added.
"Why are you asking?" I replied.
Brett shrugged his shoulders. "Just something isn't right. I know for a fact if Libby's friends said that to me, I wouldn't run screaming for the hills." He tilted his head to the side. "Are you paying her?"
What the fuck? "NO! She's my PA! We work together."
"What's with the engagement ring?"
Shit, he had noticed it too. Maybe it would be good just to off load. Brett was a good mate and he wouldn't tell anyone. I took in a deep breath. I didn't normally give out details about my life. The sooner he knew, the sooner it would drop it all.
"She is engaged..." I felt that stab of pain hit me again. "But not to me."
Brett narrowed his eyes. "You two are having an affair?"
I had never thought of it like that before. The word affair sounded dirty and wrong – It was nothing like that.
"Don't use that word.” I couldn't even think of my relationship with Georgina like that. There was nothing cheap or dirty about Georgina Dawson. "Are you happy now?"
Brett shook his head. "How can you be in a relationship knowing she's planning on being with someone else? It doesn't make any sense. It sounds too risky. Not really normal Maxwell Thomas behaviour and after Debbie? Why would you put yourself in such a doomed position??"
I took another sip of the beer, it didn't taste any better. "Because I can. Besides, why are you fishing around my sister?"
"I'm not fishing" Brett laughed.
"Where's Libby?" I questioned. It was all right for him to give me the first degree, but he wasn't exactly here for just a party. I watched his lips twitch. I knew he had some hidden agenda. I knew him too well. He raised an eyebrow and he didn't have to answer, I now knew. "Welcome to my world" and I gave a wicked laugh.
"Hey, what are you two talking about?" Amber asked as they approach us.
Me and Brett turned to look at each other. "Football" we said in sync. Georgina gave me- I know different look. I loved it that our minds were linked to everything.
"Right," I smiled, feeling a little better that my girl was back by my side. "Let's get this party started." Am
ber fired up her laptop and music boomed out of it. I lay back with Georgina and snuggle up in our original position.
We had moved the party back to the house and it was in full swing. I was dancing with Amber while Georgina sat back and watched. She didn't drink anything and I was almost at my limit. God damn you Brett with your vodka shots. I stopped dancing and looked round the room, Georgina was gone.
"Where's Georgina?" I asked Brett, he shrugged his shoulders and I went in search. She was in the bedroom on the phone. I stood by the door and listened.
"I'm back tomorrow.... Everything is great... I'm having a great time. .. . Really, Blake!" She was on the phone to shit brick. I clenched my fist. I wanted to smash something like his face. "What? .... NO!!.... I will see you tomorrow." I walked into the room and she was sitting staring at her phone. She didn't look too pleased. I didn't even say anything.
"He sounded odd." She thought about it and shook her head. "What if he knows?" She began to cry and she placed her head in her hands.
I stumbled and fell down next to her. I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her close. I hated seeing her cry. It pulled at my heart strings. "What exactly did he say?"
She looked up and wiped the tears away. "He asked if I was having a good time. Then he asked was it because he was at home and I was with you and he wants me home." She stopped. "That's odd, isn't it? It's not me being paranoid."
I took in a deep breath. The vodka had kicked in now. "Would it be such a bad thing if he did know?" I asked.
Her eyes glared at me. I guessed so. If he did know it would make everything so much easier for everyone. We wouldn't have to hide. We could be together properly. He would no longer be in the way. Why didn't she see it that like? Then it hit me, she actually did love this shit head. Anger took over me.
"I'm fed up with all this now" I blurted out. I doubted I was in control and I hated feeling out of control. That's why I ran my own company. No one to bossed me around and told me what to do.
