Trixing Your Mate

He squeezed her hand a little as they sat in silence for a moment.
Keo put his hand on Hudson’s shoulder. “We can lodge a formal protest with Sigma Alpha Brandt.”
“Who’s that?” Trixie asked curiously.
“He’s like the unofficial head of all the Alphas in North America.”
Hudson shook his head. “For me, there’s no point. I heard that the clan fell apart only a few years after I left. Alpha Paul was killed in a challenge. Then there were 2-3 other Alphas after that who tried to split the clan till most of the Chimera left and joined other clans.” Hudson paused. “But if we could find Daniela’s killer, that would be worth it.”
“We’ll ask Magnus to check into it. See if there is any evidence.”
Hudson stiffened. “Magnus is not my Alpha. I’m not clan.”
“You are my mate, and Magnus is my Alpha.”
Hudson stonily put his jaw out.
“Do you have a problem with Magnus? Is he an asshole or something?” Trixie asked Hudson curiously.
Hudson looked caught off guard. “Well, no. No, he’s not.”
Trixie added casually, “Rimie already told me that in the past Magnus has asked you to join the clan.” Hudson looked uncomfortable.
Keo looked at Hudson. “Hudson, you are our mate, whether you are part of Stone Anvil Clan or not. I think you should consider giving your oath to Magnus. He’s a good Alpha. I also know that being a Chimera you feel a deep need to be with other Chimera, to be part of a clan. But ultimately, it is your decision. We will support you either way.”
Trixie’s eyes filled with tears watching the two of them together. She was only just now understanding why these two had been paired up as mates. They had no sexual interest in each other, but, Dios, did they need each other as support, as friends, as Chimera. It seemed as if they had been so alone for so long. If Chimera really had this deep seated need to be part of a clan, how had Hudson dealt with it all these years?
Both men turned to her with identical looks of alarm on their faces.
“Trixie, are you crying?” Keo asked hesitantly.
“No!” She grabbed a tissue and blew her nose. “Yes!” She pointed at Keo. “Now you.”
“Me?”
“Yes, I’ve told you two all about me. Accounting-that I love, but my sucky job that I hate. My family, my best friend, hell, what kinda pancakes I like. I feel like there is a lot I don’t know about you two. Dime. Tell me what is going on with you.”
“Honestly, minx, I told you about me on the rooftop. I already told you about my parents. My grandfather. Rodeo circuit. Not much else. Besides the fact that I love horses. I can connect with them. I love my job.”
“Ok. But that doesn’t explain your irritation.” Trixie tilted her head in thought. “I think we can rule out jealousy of Hudson.”
“Most definitely.” Hudson confirmed.
A muscle in Keo’s jaw twitched and he stood up to pace in front of the fire. “That was sexy as hell.” Keo’s eyes speared into hers for a long moment.
Hudson made a suggestion innocently. “No, we are leaving something out. I think we need to check to make sure that I am not jealous of Keo.”
Trixie’s lips twitched.
Hudson continued, “Yes, I definitely think that we need to check my jealousy. I’ll build a fire. Keo will lay down right here and you can ride him, beauty. Part those sexy thighs of yours and swallow him into your wet pussy.” Trixie gasped.
Hudson laid back on the couch. “I promise I won’t interfere. I will just lay right here and watch his cock go in and out. It will get all soaked. Coated in your delicious pussy cream. Like mine was a couple of nights ago. I do like to see your swollen pussy getting stretched wide open by a cock.” Trixie couldn’t smother her groan at the image Hudson was describing.
Hudson continued on serenely, “Of course, we will have to test this a few times. You can’t draw dependable scientific conclusions from one trial.”
“Behave.”
“Shut it, Hudson. You’ve got me hard as a rock, and these jeans are strangling me.” Keo reached down and adjusted himself.
Hudson just grinned unrepentantly.
Trixie brought them back to the point. “Keo, so why all the irritation? So, why this morning?”
“You mean besides the fact that I’m rock hard, horny as hell and haven’t been inside my mate in days??” Keo snarled at her.
Trixie gulped hard.
“You are poking the bear a little bit here, Trixie. Or, in his case, poking the bird,” Hudson pointed out. “I took you two days ago, but realize that Keo hasn’t taken you since—“
“Wed morning at 6am, and it was a quicky.” Keo growled.
Oh, right. The car! Trxie thought. “So all this is horniness?” She waved her hand at his back and forth pacing.
Keo said nothing for a few minutes. Continuing to pace. “No.” It was as if the word was dragged out of him. He braced himself against the mantel, his back to them. “I am having trouble adjusting.” Trixie and Hudson just waited patiently. He paused. “I am used to being alone.”
“Keo, if you need more alone time. I totally get it. We don’t have to be together every night. We’ve been together almost every night since we met except for Thursday.”
“Which I hated!” Keo’s arm slashed through the air. “You don’t get it. I hated Thursday. Hated it. I hated being away from both of you.”
Trixie sat in stunned silence for a moment. “So, you’re saying you don’t want more alone time, you want less? You want to be around us more?”
Keo nodded tightly. “I’m not used to dealing with this, this…need.”
“Don’t worry, bruh. This is natural.”
“It’s natural for me to be as needy as a teenager with their first crush?!”
Trixie snorted. Hudson frowned at her, but turned back to Keo. “You are a Chimera who is mating. You haven’t been touching Trixie much. Mated Chimera, they need to touch. And your bird probably just wants things settled. We have three different homes. We are arranging and re-arranging plans every night. The instability of everything is probably driving your owl nuts.”
Keo grunted in agreement at that.
Trixie’s eyes lifted at all that information. Her mind putting all the pieces together. Keo nodded a little, his head hanging down while he thought about Hudson’s words.
“And the fact that Trixie hasn’t claimed us.” Keo added in a low voice.
Trixie pulled back surprised. “Me, claim you?”
“Hmmm, that’s true.” Hudson said thoughtfully, looking at her.
She frowned. “Claim you? Have you claimed me?” Her voice died away as she put her hands on the marks on either side of her neck.
They just watched her.
“What the hell? You ‘claimed’ me and I didn’t even know about it?! I thought these were just hickeys.”
“It’s instinctive, Trixie. Once we are inside our mate. The animal in is demands we claim them. That’s what cements the soul bonds between us.”
Crossing her arms, she opened her mouth to yell some more, when Keo quietly added, “You felt it when it happened. You went out of your mind with the pleasure, remember?”
She closed her mouth at that. She did remember. “Still you should have thought to ask me. Tell me about it or something.”
Hudson rubbed the back of his neck. “With Chimera and mates, there is very little thinking involved, Trixie. We aren’t human. It’s find mate, fuck, and bite, as soon as possible. Your animal rides you hard to claim your mate immediately.”
Frowning, she stood up to leave the room. She needed time to think about this. She made it to the doorway when Keo’s low voice stopped her.
“Would you please just touch me before you leave?”
She turned to face them. “Are your eyes…glowing?”
Keo shut his eyes immediately and sat down on the couch next to Hudson. Hudson patted his shoulder. They waited in silence just wa
tching her, waiting for her decision.
“Both of you need my touch?”
They both nodded.
“We are not having sex!” She said sternly. “I need to figure this out and you have got me upside down and backwards.”
“It’s the same for us, Trixie,” Hudson pointed out.
“Twisted into knots,” Keo agreed.
“Oh.” Okay. Maybe it’s okay if all three of them were twisted into knots at the same time? Each of them was trying to figure this out. Somehow that made her feel better.
She moved towards them and they started to stand up.
“No.” She stopped. “Sit back down and no hands.” This is not smart Trixie. This is how you got into this mess in the first place. Two men! Er, two Chimera!
Reaching down, she cupped Keo’s face. She could feel a shudder move through him slightly. “Shhhh, mi lindo.” She put her other hand on Hudson’s face, brushing her thumb lightly against his chiseled lips. “Mi osito.”
Bending over, she gave Keo a light, gentle kiss. After a moment, she switched to Hudson and continued the gentle kiss. They tasted delicious and they smelled so good. When she switched back to Keo, her kiss parted his lips so that she could get more of that Keo flavor that she craved. When she shifted to Hudson, her kiss was even harder. Lips twisted and turned, her tongue thrust into his mouth and he groaned long and loud. As they kissed, Keo had kept his word and was not using his hands, but then he didn’t need them. Keo’s lips were nibbling down her neck and then he was licking his mating mark. Trixie felt herself get wet and yanked her head away from them, taking a stumbling step back.
With a hurried ‘goodnight’, she ran into the bedroom and the empty bed.
Chapter 11
Sunday evening, sundown
Today had been miserable. Keo had gotten called in to the stables, so had left pretty early, she hadn’t seen him go. Hudson had spent some time outside around Keo’s cabin weeding and trying to coax back to life the few straggling bushes. When her mom had called her to remind her about the party that evening, Trixie had seized on the excuse to insist that Hudson drive her back to her apartment.
After arguing with her men for a while that they couldn’t go with her to her little cousin’s 10th birthday party, she was cranky. Keo (joining the argument via Hudson’s phone) and Hudson wanted to be introduced to her family. She had insisted that she needed to warm her family up to the idea of a threesome. She couldn’t just drop a threesome bombshell on her family by arriving with them in tow. She had put them off. But she could tell they were hurt by it. They knew how important her familia was to her.
How did this weekend fall apart so quickly?
When her cousin Sofia had arrived at her apartment to take her to the party, Trixie was in a funk. Mind preoccupied with Chimera, her men, unbelievable sex and what the hell ‘claiming’ was. She was vague and testy with conversations.
The first hour at the party she’d spent pretending that she was fine, but she wasn’t fine. Consequently, she snapped at everyone who teased her or even vaguely irritated her. Her mother had finally banished her to watch over the little kids that were screaming and playing in the back yard. So for the past half-hour she had been saying things like: ‘No, the rock doesn’t go in your nose, Raul!’ ‘Juana, Luca does not want the bug.’ and ‘Angel, no! no! Quit punching and give them back their toys.’ Yeah, she had never understood why her cousins had named that child ‘Angel.’ If anyone was the opposite of an angel, it was that boy.
She was bending over kissing an owie on Raul’s hand when her mamá came up behind her.
“Bebé, are you going to tell me what is wrong?” Trixie was enfolded in a warm hug and was surrounded by the comfort of her mamá. Trixie was the third child out of five children. Trixie had always been pretty self-sufficient, and the chaos of her family was probably the reason she enjoyed accounting so much. In accounting, there was order and method, predictability. It made for a nice balance to her extremely unpredictable relatives. Still she appreciated the warmth and the closeness of her mom. Some of the best things on earth, her mamá’s hugs, and for her mother, no matter how old they were, all her children were always and ever her bebés.
“Mamá. I, I—“ Trixie pulled back to look at the mother she loved so much, and she took a deep breath. “Mamá, I am in love.”
Her mother grabbed her by the face and gave her kisses on both cheeks. “I told Papá that something was going on. I could tell. Your mamá,” she tapped her heart, “mamá knows.” She nodded her head. “Where is he, bebé?”
Mumbling, Trixie admitted. “I wouldn’t let ‘em come.”
“Por qué no?”
“This is unusual. This isn’t like everyone else.” Trixie warned.
Her mamá tilted her head. “Does it need to be like everyone else, bebé?”
“No—“ Trixie stopped. A lightbulb went off in her brain. “No, mamá, it doesn’t. This is right for me. Perfect for me. This is right for us.”
“If you love him and he loves you, bebé, then it doesn’t matter what everyone else thinks.”
“Hold on to that thought, mamá, cause I love both of them.”
“Both?”
“Hudson and Keokuk. Two men. I love Keokuk and I love Hudson.”
Her mamá’s eyes grew as wide as saucers, as she mouthed, “Dos?”
“Sí, dos. They are committed to me and I, I am committed to them.” She figured ‘commitment’ was a nice substitute for ‘claiming.’
Spanish started pouring out of her mamá’s mouth. All of them half-finished sentences about her papá. “Beatrix, you let me tell your Papá about this, sí?”
“Sí, mamá.”
Her mamá drew herself up and pronounced. “I think it is time to cook some of Papá’s favorite pork pozole.” She left muttering about ingredients.
Trixie’s eyes widened. It took forever to cook pozole. Mamá only cooked it on very special occasions. If her mamá was resorting to pozole bribes, then it didn’t look promising.
But she would deal. Her family would deal. They would have to, cause she was not giving up her men. Speaking of her men.
Pulling out her phone, Trixie hit video chat. Keo answered. “Is Hudson there?”
“Yes. Trixie, are you ok?” Keo searched her eyes. She smiled softly at him and nodded. Keo moved the phone and Hudson appeared in view with him. They looked like they were at a coffee shop.
“Coffee again, mi lindo?”
“Yes, this place isn’t bad.” Keo looked around. Hudson rolled his eyes at Trixie.
She giggled, sobering quickly when Keo snapped his eyes back to her. She continued, “Can you hear me? I want to tell you something.”
“We’ll go out to the car,” Hudson suggested.
Trixie’s oldest sister, Enriqueta, waved at her to let her know that she had the kids. “Thanks, Rikki!” She called as she moved out into the little wooded park area past the unfenced lawn of the backyard for privacy. She went to one of the park benches and sat under one of the sidewalk lights.
She looked at her men that were now sitting in Hudson’s beaten up pickup truck looking at her with concern.
“I missed you. I missed you both.”
Their faces tightened.
“Trixie.” Hudson murmured.
“I want to know more about this claiming stuff.”
Keo shrugged. “When you find your mate, you get inside them as fast as possible. Bite them. Then soul bond. Forever.”
Trixie gulped. “Forever? That’s what you want?”
“Yes.”
“From the moment we met,” Hudson said calmly.
“That’s what I want, too.”
“Trixie, are you going to claim us?” Keo’s tone was hard.
Her eyes flitted to both of them, stroking all over one face to shift to the other one. She knew. They were what she wanted. They were it for her. Hands down, no one else compared to Keo and Hudson. She was so deeply in love with them. She smil
ed. “Yes.”
“We will be there in two minutes.”
She laughed. “I can’t leave, yet. They are about to do the piñata.”
“We will come there.”
“Mis amores, I will introduce you to my family. I will. All I ask is a couple of weeks to get them accustomed to the idea. Please?”
They both nodded slowly.
“Ok, so tell me, am I supposed to do this in a certain order? Does it need to be Keo first like last time? I want to do this right.” She paused as something else that had been bothering her came to mind. “And Rimie was talking about some claiming ceremony. Do all of you do this ceremony thing? Do we have to show our bites to someone to make it official?”
“Uhhh.” Hudson said slowly.
“Sorta.”
She looked at both of them. Her eyes narrowed. “Spill the Tea.”
Hudson coughed. “We don’t show off our bites, so much as the actual biting.”
“We are gonna stand in front of everyone and bite each other?” Sounded a little awkward, but, oh well, she could adapt. She thought she heard someone beside her in the trees, probably her sister coming to get her.
Keo rubbed his chin. “Not exactly.”
She frowned. “What aren’t you telling me?”
“We actually do the claiming in front of the clan.” Keo was matter of fact.
“That’s what I said, right?”
“Noooo, you said we just bite each other.”
She shook her head not understanding.
“We are inside you when we claim you,” Hudson clarified.
Her eyes grew big. “You mean—“
“We fuck you and bite you in front of the clan,” Hudson finally said bluntly.
“Normally, mates all need to be joined physically at the same instant when they do the claiming bite. Sometimes it has to be very creative because of the large mating groups.”
“Joined physically…” She said thoughtfully.
“We use more than your pussy to claim you, mate. That sexy, tight rosebud of yours.” Keo’s smile was wolfish.
Her butt tightened on the bench in response. That was what Rimie had been talking about when she talked about being ‘prepared.’ “You want to claim my back door?”
