Cuffed by A Black Billionaire

“So, are you going to call your mom?” She asked.
“Nah, probably not.” I told her, honestly.
“Why not?” She asked.
“Shit, I don’t know what she could possibly want. I really don’t care to find out either.” I shrugged.
“Babe, I know you still hurting from how she.”
“I ain’t hurting. I just ain’t got shit for her sorry ass.” I snapped.
“Okay, whatever, babe.” She dropped it.
We ate, and by the time we got in the bed, we both passed the fuck out. The next morning, we both were up and getting our day started. I loved to see my woman put on her lab jacket and them glasses. My dick got hard at the sight of it.
“Why you staring at me?” She asked.
“You wearing yo hair straight today? What the fuck you got going on?” I backed her into the bathroom counter.
“Babe, boy, back up, you are insane. No reason. When I got home last night, I just decided to flat iron it and wrap it up for today.” She explained.
“Don’t get fucked up. ‘Til death do us part, remember.” I threatened her. She giggled.
“I know that, do you?” She asked.
“Living every day by that shit.”
“You are a mess. Move, before you make me late.” I leaned down to get a kiss, and as soon I went to grab her by her neck, she panicked.
“NOPE! NO! You not about to have me late and limping again. I’m not messing with you, or yo shenanigans, this morning.” She laughed. I chuckled, as she wiggled her way from underneath me.
“Damn, you ain’t no fun.” I joked.
“Whatever. I gotta head in early, and I might get out late. If I get out late, I’ll just grab a pizza or something.” She pecked me on the lips.
“Alright. Let me come walk you out.” I told her.
“You ain’t got no shirt on, and that white bitch across the street already treading on thin ice. You better watch from the window.” She snapped, and I bust out laughing.
Later on that day, I met up with Kenzo at the Buntings restaurant. We walked in, and it was always comical to see my thug ass boy in a fucking suit. Ever since I sent him to where I got my suits from, this big nigga was always popping up with a new one.
“Okay, brother, I see yo dusty ass.” I joked.
“Fuck you, nigga.” He scowled, and walked in the building. We sat down and talked business with these arrogant motherfuckers. They were trying to appear cocky, and I found it hilarious.
“Let’s make one thing clear. You called us, we didn’t call you.” Kenzo spoke, and I smirked like a proud pops. He smelled bullshit and so did I.
“That’s correct, but we don’t need you.” The youngest one spoke, and on cue, we both stood.
“It was a pleasure, Mr. Bunting, good luck on finding a business partner.” I spoke, before they could try and clean up what he said. We walked out, and my phone was ringing off the hook.
“Damn, who blowing my shit down?” I pulled my phone out.
“Aye, bruh, we gotta go.” Kenzo said.
“Hello.” I walked to my whip.
“Bruh, I been calling y’all motherfuckers, man. P up here fighting for his life at the hospital.” Zell yelled in the phone.
“What?” I yelled. I shook my fucking head.
“Yeah, let’s go.” Kenzo yelled, from his whip. I hung up on Zell, and floored it all the way to the hospital. When we walked in, it was a group of niggas in the waiting room, and I stood there. I was waiting on somebody to start spilling the fucking beans. I knew my decision to put P back on would bite me in the fucking ass. I knew that shit, but I went against my gut. It fucked me up seeing my little cousin out here about to get his head blown off, so I put him back under my wing.
“Nigga, that shit happened so fucking quick.” Zell started.
“What the fuck happened?” Kenzo snapped.
“We was on the block, in the hood, shooting dice, and a black on black Suburban pulled up, and let them bitches blow. They was aiming for P, specifically.” He said. I shook my head.
“I got fifty g’s on any info a motherfucker got on that truck and who pulled the trigger.” I spat, and all them niggas scattered like roaches. I walked in the room to see P, and this nigga was knocked the fuck out. They had to remove all the bullets, nigga got seven bullets pumped in his dumb ass. This nigga here was gon’ be the death of me. I sat there thinking, mind racing a mile a minute. I was getting pulled back into some shit, I ain’t want to, but this was my fucking blood laying on the bed. They said his jaw was gon’ be wired shut for a while. That mean niggas was aiming for my cousin head. Who the fuck was this nigga beefing with?
“I’mma go get the fuck out this suit, and suit up for some shit. I see niggas must’ve forgot.” Kenzo spat.
“It’s all good, bruh. We gon’ remind them.” I told him and nodded.
My mind was racing as I made my way to the crib. I was stuck on who the fuck wanted my motherfucking cousin’s head on a silver platter. Some shit wasn’t adding up, because P had been on his p’s and q’s since he got back down with the crew. Nigga said he learned his fucking lesson and wanted to get to this money the legal way. I just didn’t understand the shit. I got to the crib and pulled out my all black. I put on my vest, and my hoodie on top of it. Making sure my guns were in place, I went to turn around and walk out the closet, and Yanni was standing there with a confused look on her face.
“Where the hell you think you going?” She asked.
“I gotta go handle some shit, don’t wait up.” I pecked her on the lips.
“What the heck, Ken? Ken? KEN?” She yelled at my back, but I kept walking right out the door. I ain’t wanna tell her shit, or even look in her eyes, cause I knew it would stop me in my tracks, and right now, I ain’t need that. I needed to find out who the fuck shot my blood cousin, and why. I pulled out my phone and started walking down the street. They ain’t answer, but I saw the black on black Buick pull around the corner, before climbing in. Motherfuckers had officially woke the sleeping beast.

I hadn’t been home in a week. Niggas was outta fucking pocket, and I had heard so much shit, I had to sit back and digest the shit. I had to go down to see my fucking lawyer, cause she left me a fucking voicemail talking about call her ASAP. I shook my head, knowing it was about to be some shit. I sat there waiting outside her office until she called me inside. By the look in her eyes, I knew it was horrible news. I sat across from her.
“Alright, lay it on me.” I told her.
“The Feds are coming after you for a whole slew of charges. What the hell you been doing, Kentrell? I thought you told me you closed the door on the illegal shit?” She shrieked.
“What you mean?” I asked. She started reading all the charges off a piece of paper and I shook my damn head.
“I ain’t, I don’t even know where all that shit is coming from. My hands been clean since I walked away from my plug years ago.” I told her.
“They have witnesses, Kentrell. So, I need you to be honest with me, as your lawyer, so I know what I’m up against.” She said.
“I’m telling you, I haven’t been in no shit.” I told her.
I sat there talking to her for a good fucking hour. She told me to get my shit in order, because any fucking day, they were coming to get my black ass. She didn’t have any clue as to who any of the witnesses were, but she was working on it. She had me side eyeing everybody now. I walked out the office my blood fucking boiling. She was going to handle it though, but she said it was gon’ be a fight. I had the best lawyer on the planet, her and her fucking husband were beast, and were undefeated, so I kept them on payroll.
When I got home, it was late as fuck. I had to get some shit squared away. After writing a note like my lawyer instructed me to, I had to figure out where to put it, so she would find it. I walked in the house, and my baby was on the couch, watching one of her bullshit reality TV shows. She sat straight up and mugged the shit
outta me.
“So nice of you to come home to your wife.” She said, sarcastically. I sat right across from her on opposite couch. She cussed me out so bad, I never heard her so mad. But I let her get it all out.
“I don’t know what you’ve been doing, but if you pull that shit again, I’ll be coming to get you, personally. Don’t think I won’t find yo stupid ass. You dressed in all black like you about to go jump out on somebody. You don’t have to do that reckless ass shit anymore Ken, even though you haven’t told me. I know. I know you have a past, we all do, but what we can’t do, is bring the past into the present, that’s where we mess up. I love you, and I don’t want nothing to happen to you. I’d go insane, we have our whole lives ahead of us. I’ve been sick as a dog, worried about you!” She ranted. But I cut her off.
“Aliyanna, baby girl. You right, okay, you right about everything. My lawyer called me today and told me the feds are coming after me any day now.” I started, and the look on her face instantly pissed me off.
“What? Why? What did you do, Ken?” She yelled and stood up.
“Baby, listen to me.” I stood up with her.
“KEN!” She shrieked, and she had panic in her eyes. I just held her in my arms, as she balled her eyes out. She wiped her eyes, and pulled away from me, before shutting the rest of the lights of downstairs.
“Yanni, what the fuck is you doing.” I asked, as she practically sprinted up the stairs. She put on her black jogging pants, and brought our suitcases out the closet. I chuckled. She started packing undergarments, socks, and I hated to stop her, but I had to.
“Baby girl, what you doing?” I stepped in front of her.
“They’re not about to take nobody else from me. I’ve already lost too many people to death, now they’re trying to lock up my husband and best friend. Well, they gon’ have to fucking catch us.” She spat, serious as a heart attack.
“You serious Yanni?” I frowned. She stared at me as if I was stupid.
“As a heart attack.”
“Yanni, you got a career and shit, baby, you can’t go on the run with me, baby.” I told her.
“I don’t give a fuck. I’m not losing you! I need you here with us!” She screamed at me.
“I know, baby, I know. But this shit gon’ work out, we gon’ be alright.” I told her and kissed her passionately. I knocked them fucking suitcases off the bed, and laid my baby down, on a mission to make love to her as if it would be the last time.
“Oh, Ken.” She moaned out, as I inserted my dick inside her. Every time I ran up in her wet ass pussy, the shit had me stuck.
“Fuck, baby.” I groaned out. I leaned down to continually tongue her down, while slow stroking her wet walls until daylight.
The next morning, I woke up, and I heard tires screeching. I jumped up and looked out the window, chuckling. It was that time. I grabbed the folded piece of paper, and put it in the back of her phone case. I remember she said she ordered some more cases, so I was sure she was gon’ change it soon. I sat her phone back down, put on a t-shirt and lit a blunt. They were surrounding the house when I woke Yanni up. She was smiling at me, and I hated that these motherfuckers were about to turn my baby’s smile upside down.
“They here.” I told her. She nodded, sat on my lap, tonging me down. I heard the door get knocked off the hinges, and them fuckers started running through the crib. I stood up and put my blunt out.
“Make sure you change your phone case when it come, alright?” I told her. She frowned at me, and they knocked the bedroom door of the hinges. I shook my head and put my hands up. They snatched Yanni away from me so quick, cuffing her, and sitting her across the room. Fuck, my lawyer needed to get me out, asap. I just hoped all the lies that were about to be spread didn’t affect how Yanni thought about me. I was innocent and being framed for some shit I ain’t have shit to do with.
TWENTY-THREE
YANNI
My lovely wife:
Shit is about to hit the fucking fan baby. I can’t apologize enough for putting you through this shit but when I tell you I’m innocent, I mean that. I never told you about my past because shit was never important to me cause I was no longer that nigga. But I realize I made a mistake, I should’ve told you that I was a big time dealer back in the day. I’ve done a lot of shit but I ain’t never been no dirty ass nigga. The shit you about to hear about me is all a fucking lie. I have never lied to you and I’m not about to start now. You mean everything to me and if I ever lost you I’d go crazy. They saying they have two witnesses, so I just want you to peep who act differently while I’m gone. Keep an eye on Zell for me, they probably gone freeze our account but it’s a safe at your old condo. The lawyer fee’s have been paid too. For better or worse right? Till death do us part right? I love you Mrs. Rockwell and I’ll see you soon.
-Ken
I had been sick since they came and got Ken three weeks ago. I went to the doctor, but they told me I had a stomach bug, and sent me on my way. I went to another doctor, and they sent me on my way again, but I knew my body was off. I knew deep inside I was pregnant, but they said the test were negative, and so were my at home pregnancy test. But something wasn’t right. My mother said maybe it was just me missing my husband, I didn’t know. I made an appointment with Doctor Carmichael, she was an older black woman. She ordered that I have an ultrasound done, to see was if it was a baby in there.
“Alright, let’s see.” She smiled.
“Oh my, word.” She hit the key and hit them two more times. I was frowning, trying to see what she was doing.
“Oh my goodness, Mrs. Rockwell. I can’t believe it.” She smiled.
“What? It’s a baby in there, isn’t it?” I smiled back.
“Honey, there’s three babies in there.” She said, excitedly.
“WHAT?” I shrieked. Her eyes bulged when I yelled.
“Yes, honey, there’s three babies in there.” She told me, and she turned the screen toward me. One, two, three, fucking babies, in my got damn belly. I was gon’ fucking kill Ken. How? I was so shook up. I knew it was something, I haven’t ate a full meal without throwing it up in a while. My doctor went over everything, I sat there for over thirty minutes, while she was drilling me, and letting me know what I needed to do. She told me carrying three babies automatically made me high risk, and that she wanted to see me every other week. She was excited herself, because she said she’d never had triplets before, but she assured me that she would see to it that I carried for as long as I could, and we would have three healthy babies. I shook my head. I was so fucking depressed, and in my feelings, I went home and got in the damn bed. I called off work for two days, and didn’t care if they fired me or not. I was done with everything, and everybody.
I was passed out on my couch and I felt sick as hell. I hadn’t been eating or drinking, because I was tired of throwing up all over the place. My doorbell was ringing like crazy, and I tried to gather up the strength to get the damn door. It was Kenzo, and he didn’t look happy. He was on the phone.
“Yeah, she here. Wassup, lil sis, why you looking like that?” He asked.
“No reason, Zo, what you want?” I asked, climbing back on the couch.
“Ken say he been calling you.” He wasn’t even able to complete his sentence before I was running to the bathroom. I was literally, throwing up bile. I was miserable, and I felt dizzy as hell. I just sat there hugging the toilet for a minute. I guess I took too long, because Zo came into the bathroom.
“You good, sis?” He asked.
“Aliyanna?” He yelled, I was trying to answer, but it was like I was losing consciousness.
***
“How are you feeling? I’m sorry, I know that’s probably a stupid question.” Shianne woke up and came closer to me grabbing my hand. I woke up in a fucking hospital bed.
“I feel like what did I do to deserve this? I’m a good person, and bad shit always fucking happens to me!” My eyes filled up with tears.
“Nothing that ha
ppened to you is your fault. Wipe away all those thoughts right now. Aliyanna, absolutely nothing was your fault.” She assured me. I nodded.
“So why do I feel like this? Like I could’ve prevented everything bad that happened to me.” I wiped my eyes before the tears could fall.
“Because when things like this happen, that’s how the human body thinks. But it’s not your fault, beautiful. I promise you it’s not. You believe in God, right?” She asked.
“As much shit as I been through, I do. But I can’t help but to ask why does he keep putting me through all of this!” I snapped. Shi gave me a small smile, before standing and grabbing both of my hands.
“Precious, Heavenly Father. I come to you as humble as I know how, Lord, asking that you wrap your arms around this beautiful soul. I ask that you help her understand, Father God, that you would never put more on her than she could bear, Father. That you help her to understand that you built her to last, Father God, and that this is just another test for her testimony, God. Help heal her heart, Father God. I see a lot of hurt in my sister’s eyes, I just ask that you heal her heart, her mind, her body, and her spirit, Heavenly father. We thank you, and we love you for each and every day that you give to us. In the sweet, Heavenly name, I pray, Amen.” She opened her eyes, and I opened mine as well, with tears pouring out.
“Thanks, Shi!” I hugged her tightly.
“Girl, it’s nothing, you know I got you.” She smirked.
“Oh my goodness, baby girl. I got here as soon as I could. Oh my Lord, why my baby, God?” My mother busted through the doors, hugging and holding me. I have never had someone pray for me on the spot, and everything that she said moved me. She was truly Heaven sent, and I was gonna keep her around. Maybe God was trying to tell me something. Kenzo walked in eating some chips.
“You good, lil sis?” He asked. I nodded.
“Thank you.” I told him, tears in my eyes. If he hadn’t of been there, I could’ve died. The doctor came in and checked on me. Thank God I had everyone, but my mother stepped out. He said I was severely dehydrated. He started educating me how it wasn’t good for the babies, and my mother damn near jumped out of her skin.
