  “Thank you, Killian.”

“You do realize you’re fucked now, right?” Reign grins.

“Why is that?” I hold my diploma case in front of my body while Franklin takes the moment to pull me back against his chest, resting his chin on my shoulder.

“You’ll be working for us now until the day you die.”

“That is true,” Franklin chimes in, giving me a kiss on my cheek.

“What?” I screech. “What about free will and all that shit?”

“You lost that the second he laid his eyes on you, girl.” Killian pulls a face as if I’m asking the stupidest question in the world.

  “That’s also true,” Franklin agrees.

“Yeah, you’re a Wolfe now. You’ll be doing the books, making us money. Doing our laundry.” Reign sums up the tasks on his fingers, that innocent grin of his radiating.

“You better not be talking about your dirty underwear, Reign, because I sure as fuck ain’t touching those.”

“Wait? Not even mine?” Franklin grouses, making me turn my face towards his.

“Maybe. If you play nice.” I brush my lips against his, bringing a smile to his face.

“I never play nice, pretty girl. But I know for a fact that’s how you like it.” He softly bites my lower lip.

  “Hmm, maybe,” I muse.

“What, you’re gonna do his laundry but not ours?” Reign pouts, acting offended as he dramatically places his hand on his heart.

“He’ll be giving me orgasms in return, so yeah.”

“We can give you orgasms? Killian is great with his mouth, and I have magic fingers.” He holds his hand up in the air.

“I am good with my mouth.” Killian nods his head in agreement.

“Don’t fucking make me disown the two of you,” Franklin growls, pointing his finger at his brothers while I let out an amused chuckle, loving the banter between all of them.

“I’m kidding.” Reign brings up his hands in a placating gesture while Killian mumbles an “Okay.”

“I’ll pass. One Wolfe is all I can handle.” I lean into Franklin’s chest while he nuzzles his nose against my neck.

“Good answer. Come on, let’s go. We’re taking you out to supper.” He links his hand with mine, tugging me with him as we walk down the road to where his chauffeur is waiting for us.

We’ve almost reached the car when Connor comes peeling around the corner, the tires screeching as he comes to a stop in front of us in his all black truck. He jumps out of the truck, and we freeze on the sidewalk, wondering what the fuck is going on when we see that his face is red, and he looks flustered with what appears to be panic in his eyes.

“Why don’t you assholes answer your phones!” he roars, slamming his palm on the hood of his truck, fuming in fury.

“We shut them off for the ceremony,” Franklin deadpans.

  “Don’t fucking do that!”

“What’s going on, Connor?” Franklin’s voice is steady and calm, as if he’s completely unaware that his brother is about to lose his shit any second now.

He clenches his jaw, averting his head as his Adam’s apple moves along his throat. When he looks up, he gives us a look I will never forget. What I’d thought was fury has been replaced with a level of desperation that breaks my heart. After what feels like minutes but is probably only seconds, he finally locks eyes with Franklin.

  “They took the kid.”

  THE END.

  The physical one.

If you come after one of us Wolfes, I hope you run fast.

I don’t care about collateral damage.

Even if that means taking the girl I slept with to get to her brother.

But life decided to play a trick on me.

To give me a part of me I didn’t know existed.

  Acknowledgments

First, I wanna thank you, my reader. I hope you sure as fuck enjoyed this one because this one was hard! It didn’t fly from my fingers; I wasn’t unstoppable writing this, and I definitely didn’t feel confident about it for a long time. In fact, I had week-long breaks in between, but I did it anyway. This one was hard work, and I’m grateful you picked it up.

Second goes to my husband, simply because he’s my person, for life. But also because I run around with my phone all day, squeezing in words wherever I can, plotting any new books, checking my sales or whatever I’m doing that is book related, and he’s okay with that because he believes in me. I hope you’re right about Franklin, baby. #fingerscrossed.

Third goes to Madelon Cornelisz, my alpha. She didn’t do shit for this one, in fact she hasn’t even read it because she was too busy feeding her baby (I guess I can let that one slide), but I know eventually she will read everything I write and I appreciate the hell out of her.

Next up is Katie Salt. I’m so grateful to have you in every single way. You help me grow my business bigger, write my books faster, and keep my head sane when I get confused as fuck about every new thing we learn. Thank you for being an amazing friend, colleague, person, and know that you’re my people. Meaning you’re stuck with me for life. <3

My fourway, I love you. Don’t worry, this is not some kind of polygamy thing, although I’m sure y’all reverse harem lovers would totally dig that. They are there when it matters, and I’m happy we’ve got a circle where we can rant, bullshit, joke and celebrate.

Jordan, Rion, and Lea. I love you. You guys go in one breath for me because you’ve been there since the beginning, and I don’t think I want to write another book without you. You’re not only my beta’s, but in the last year you guys became so much more. Thank you for all the time you invest in my books and me. I can’t wait till I can buy the three of you a drink. Or two. Maybe six. Hell, screw that, let’s do ten.

Sheryn, I have to tell you I hate the time difference but luckily we always find a way to catch up, and make it work. Your words always motivate me, and I’m glad I found a great friend in you. If you could just move to Europe in the near future, that would be great <3.

Rachel, I didn’t expect you to binge this one, because well … you’re busy as f*ck. But you did, and you gave me the confidence to send it to the others! Thank you for giving me your time and let’s have drinks… SOON!

Brianna, girl, you deserve a medal! Thank you for putting the time in my book even though you were sick as hell. You didn’t have to, but you did anyway, and that means the world to me!

Mallory, you were a breath of fresh air that I needed for this one. Your feedback really polished my book, and I’m happy I reached out to you!

And last, but definitely not least, Kim. Thank you once again for p
olishing my book, supporting me in every way, and giving me everything you know to help me grow. I truly appreciate everything, and I’m really grateful that I’m part of your clientele. I’m dreading the day you’ll ever stop, so … please don’t. LOL.
