“I love you, babe,” she says, reaching for a kiss.

I create two loops with the rope and make a beautiful bow. “What do you think, sunshine?” I let the rope caress her body.

She quivers and nods, her legs already shaking. “I even brought my own in case you didn’t think of packing any.”

I pinch her ass and she yelps. “Fuck! I love you.”

I grab her and turn her around so her back is facing me. I slip the loops up to her shoulders and tighten it all by pulling on the bottom part. She whimpers, and I kiss her neck to reassure her.

  “Please,” she begs.

I take both pieces of the rope, loop them under my fingers, and pull each side of it behind the loop to make a new bow. I slide her arms in it again. I continue on, kissing her to show her how much I desire her. After the sixth knot, I bind her wrists. From behind, she looks like a beautiful dragonfly. Some of my best work.

“I need you inside me.” She moans, rubbing her thighs together.

“Jules, I never fuck if I use ropes.” I tug the knots a little tighter.

“I need you to fuck me!”

She’s desperate for my dick, and I can’t say I don’t want to be buried in her. I part her legs and dip my fingers inside her. It feels like Niagara Falls.

“I want to lick you first, sunshine. I’ve missed your taste.”

Her arms are long enough that even bound, she can reach back and bring her fingers to her pussy, touching her folds alongside my fingers. She bends over, presenting the most stunning view I’ve ever seen. She’s warm and wet, and I wish my tongue were in place of my fingers.

“There, babe,” she says, wiggling her fingers full of her desire so my lips can have a taste.

I feel as if I’m going to explode in my pants. My tongue darts out and cleans her fingers. Her sweet flavor makes me lose the little control I have left. I tip her over even more and undo my pants, letting them fall to my ankles, before I raise her hips and hold her firmly so she doesn’t fall. I bring my face to her perfect ass and let my tongue rim her while my fingers curves deeper inside her.

  “Fuck me, please, please, please.”

Her begging makes me harder. I remove my fingers and stand behind her, my dick now where my mouth was.

“Tell me if it’s too much,” I say. My next move is a lot less sweet than my words. I enter her in a hard thrust. “I want to make love to you, sunshine, but first I need to fuck you. I’ll start with your cunt, then I’ll fuck your mouth, and I’ll finish by fucking your ass. Once I’m done, I promise I’ll take it slow and make love to you.”

I thrust harder and faster. When I feel her clench around me, I bring her to her knees, yanking her hair. Seeing her in total abandonment, letting her fuck me while she’s roped up like a dragonfly, I know she’s mine, but I need to hear it.

“Tell me you’re mine.” I guide her body to the rhythm we both need. My hand rubs her clit.

She clenches harder. “I’m yours, always and only yours, Ian.”

Hearing her saying it, I unleash everything, slapping our bodies in a violence only lovers can stand. As I bite her shoulder and pinch her nipple, she comes, screaming my name. I scramble at the same time.

  Undone.

  In love.

  Mine.

  Epilogue

One year and a bit later.

  “Ian! Picture please!”

Strike a pose, smile, flash! Wave hand.

  “Ian! This way!”

Strike a pose, smile, flash! Wave hand.

  “Ian, over here!”

Strike a pose, smile, flash! Wave hand.

  “Ian, love the tux!”

Strike a pose, smile, flash! Wave hand.

  “Ian! Where’s your date?”

“Late!” I answer, laughing. Strike a pose, smile, flash! Wave hand.

Julie is late. It’s the Oscars, and she got caught up because her dress didn’t fit. Well to be exact, her tits didn’t fit because she’s four months pregnant and they’re much bigger than when she went to her fitting a couple of months ago. Not that I’m complaining! She barely shows otherwise. When she kicked me out because she didn’t want me to miss the interviews on the red carpet, Virginia was on her way to help “fix” the dress. Not sure what they’re doing, but Dex is helping too, so I’m not worried.

I’m not worried about winning tonight. It would be huge, of course. I already have a couple of Emmys and Golden Globes and this is my first Oscar nomination, but knowing I’ll be a dad in five months is the center of my thoughts. With Julie carrying a child over forty, I feel constant worry. I know it’s more than normal nowadays, but it’s still a risk. The Oscars are a piece of cake next to that.

“Ian! How are you?” Miranda points the mic under my nose once again.

Tonight, I don’t have to fake smile. “I’m fine, Miranda. How about you?”

“Ecstatic! How does it feel to be nominated tonight?”

I’m laughing inside my head. Miranda asks the same questions every time. “You know, to be totally honest, it feels good, but not as good as when Jules said she was pregnant.”

Miranda screeches so high it hurts my ears! “Oh my God, Ian, is that a scoop?”

“Well, not for our families and friends, but yeah, we wanted to be sure before telling you, Miranda.” I wink at her.

“Is that why Julie’s not here tonight?”

I shake my head. “No, no, she’s running late. She’ll join me as soon as she can.” My phone buzzes in my inside pocket, and I have a feeling it’s Julie. I take it out and glance at the text I received. “Sorry, Miranda, Julie texted me and wants you to know she’ll be there in thirty minutes, tops.”

“But she’ll miss the beginning of the ceremony!”

“Indeed.” I smile. “Do you think I can ask our host to hold off on his opening speech?”

She laughs politely. Not sure she understood I was joking. “Good luck tonight, Ian!”

  “Thank you, Miranda!”

I walk away. One done, three to go. Same questions, same announcement, same reactions.

Question: “What is your next project?” Answer: “A baby.”

Question: “Are you and Julie ever going to work together again?” Answer: “Not sure, but we will raise a child together.”

Question: “We keep hearing our colleagues screaming when you stop by their mic. What is going on tonight?” Answer: “Julie and I are expecting. She’s four months pregnant!”

And more screeching every time. Even from the guys. We decided that rather than do a press release about Julie’s pregnancy, we would say something tonight during the red carpet interviews. Of course, I thought Julie would be next to me.

It seems we’re the talk of the town these days. Everybody wants to know what we’re doing. But we don’t care anymore. We live in our bubble between LA, where we stay only when we work, Montreal, and Grosse Pointe Shore. We bought an apartment next to Anna and Dan and a mansion on the lake in Grosse Pointe. Jules loved my hometown so much that she was adamant we buy a house there. We see much more of my parents. It’s nice in a way. Virginia is happy she can come stay at our place when she comes to town, and Dex does the same.

As I sit down, waiting for the ceremony to start, Julie has yet to arrive. I’m nervous she won’t make it. I’m nervous she’ll stand me up again. It’s not only an important night for me. The movie is nominated for Best Motion Picture, as well as Best Script and Best Original Song. Funny thing about the song—Dan wrote and performed it. Our team wanted to ask Paul, but that was a little much for Julie. She doesn’t want her name to be associated with him anymore, and I can’t say I blame her. Unfortunately, Dan is once again on tour and couldn’t be here tonight.

As the lights turn off, someone slips into the seat on my right and my dick twitches at the familiar scent. Julie.

“Sorry I’m late, babe. Even Dex had trouble making miracles happen tonight. But he did it again,” she whispers.

  Dex knows, mo
re than anyone, how important tonight is for us.

“I know you didn’t want to answer the thousands of questions about the baby,” I whisper back. “You look beautiful.” I give her a kiss on the cheek.

She’s wearing a royal blue dress—she taught me the color this morning—that shines against her olive skin tone—that one was Virginia. She looks perfect. I kept insisting she could have come in sweatpants, but apparently that isn’t up to the dress code of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

I reach into my inside pocket and take the ring out I hid there this morning. Without a word, I slip the emerald-cut solitaire diamond onto her finger. It sparkles in its classical simplicity. Just like Julie.

I take her hand and bring her fingers to my mouth to kiss them. I feel her freeze, but I move my mouth to her ear. “Please, marry me, sunshine.”

The theater is pitch dark, only a glimmer of light coming from backstage. I barely see a tear rolling down her face. I’ve wanted to marry her since she came to Michigan. She wanted to wait until we were done with producing the movie. Then there was its promotion and release. Afterward, we decided to make a baby, and that took a little more time and stress than we would have wanted.

She kept asking me to wait, but tonight is it. I can’t wait any longer to make her my wife. If I thought I could survive Dex and Virginia’s wrath, we would elope. Goose bumps spread over my body at the idea of her becoming Mrs. Porter. Emotion tightens my throat.

She turns to me ever so slowly and nods, barely containing her tears. I bring her lips to mine and kiss her softly. The ceremony starts with music and fanfare, and I turn toward the stage, concentrating on the show. Julie takes my hand, and with her finger, she draws an I, a heart, and a U in my palm.

I squeeze her hand and whisper my five favorite words. “I love you too, sunshine.”

  About the Author

Once upon a time, I wanted to write books...

Once upon a time, I loved reading contemporary romance...

Once upon a time, I thought, why not me?

It's coming as fast as your first crush...

It will be full of love, and I hope laughter...

It's a new life so bear with me...

  Who am I?

A question I haven't found the answer to yet...

I don't like coffee, I have a fluffy cat and a computer, that's all you need to know, right? Do you need more details about me?

I have a great heart but a dirty mouth.

I looooove my birthday, and I still celebrate my half-birthdays.

I have a dry, sarcastic, dirty sense of humor.

I'm a mom, and mostly I like it. (see above)

My cat hates me. (Not a joke)

My mother tongue isn't English, but I speak it very well with a slight French accent.

  Merci etc.

Thanks for reading! I sincerely hope you liked this story, and if you disliked Julie a little or a lot, it’s normal. I did too...

From the first lines, I loved Ryan. This little pain in my butt was doing everything to end up with Julie, but that’s not what my plan was when I set out. He kept popping up in my brain, telling me what he wanted and I kept pushing him back. That’s how I decided to destroy his friendship with Julie and to write him his own story.

So if you choose to read Never & Forever after this book, don’t be surprised. You might see Ian & Julie in a very different light and Ryan as a very different person. Ian was my baby but step by step, Ryan became my man. I have a massive crush on him. I wasn’t planning to write his story after Always & Only, but he decided otherwise. I can already tell you that after Never & Forever, we’ll discover more about Dex. And of course, Anna & Dan, whenever I finish their story. There is a whole plan to my madness... So bear with me, the road is long and bumpy, but we’ll get there together.

I have to thank a LOT of peeps. (It’s like the Oscars in a way)

First, my hubby and kids because well... it’s obvious.

The rest of my family who support my craziness but especially my mother-in-law who read the story and encouraged me every step of the way.

My friends T & R who were the first one I told I wanted to write a romance novel. They were so supportive, I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have started without them pushing me a little.

But most of all, my friends J, M and T & T. They were my beta readers, my confidence boosters, my tea delivery service, and my saviors. Love you, ladies!

Then there is the team of professionals, Cassie and Sarah, and of course the authors, the bloggers and all the peeps that supported me in my crazy new life. THANK YOU! I couldn’t have done it without you.

Live Long with the Force, Hakuna Namaste!

Angels and Sunshine Series - 2

  Never & Forever — VIRGINIA

My stupid asshole of a brother! Who decides to marry a very hormonal woman a couple of months before she gives birth? Only my twin, actor extraordinaire, Ian Porter! My future sister-in-law, Julie, is driving me nuts. She cries over everything. I really thought she would be low-key for her second wedding, but I was so wrong. I’m supposed to officiate the fucking ceremony in one month, and at the moment, I want to shove my foot up her ass.

It seems she can’t get married now because her former best friend, Ryan Marley, Hollywood super star, won’t be there. The egotesticle prick walked out of her life eighteen months ago, after trying to force himself on her, and vanished from the Hollywood scene. Nobody misses him—well, except his fans—and nobody cares. I certainly don’t. I ran into him twice, and both times he was drunk off his rocker and rude.

To be fair, I wasn’t sober the first time I met him. It was twenty years ago or so, during my addiction when I was consuming cocaine as others breathe. So now that I have to find the actor fallen from grace, I’m peachy. Finding him won’t be so hard though, thanks to my ex’s brother, also known as Ian’s best friend and guru, Dex Crawford. Convincing my brother to let Ryan attend the wedding, or convincing the asshole to go, or convincing the crazy bride not to invite him will all be much more difficult. Which is why I’ve called an emergency meeting with the best man and the man-of-honor at my coffee shop.

Dex arrives first, in a new navy Armani suit. His raven-black hair and icy blue eyes are a trait shared by the Crawford men, and I see my ex every time I look at Dex. Not that they have anything else in common. Clay was—well, still is—a manipulative dirtbag. Dex is cold, calculating, ambitious, and kind of an asshole, but he’s loyal and loving when he wants to be. He’s always been faithful to me, even more than to his brother or Ian—except for one situation…

He leans over the counter of the bar and kisses my cheek. “Do we need Baileys in our coffees for Mamazilla’s request?”

It’s the first time I’ve laughed today. Dex’s nickname for Julie is on point.

“Could you fucking be nice about my best friend!” Luke, the man-of-honor, says.

Luke and Jules became fast friends when she was looking for Ian after getting her “love declaration tattoo” from Luke. She tried to set me up with him, but it didn’t work out. Not because he’s not gorgeous. Giant and dark blond with impenetrable black eyes, Luke is a presence. Add to that the numerous tattoos he has everywhere and the new piercing in his eyebrow and I was a goner. Unfortunately, Julie didn’t realize Luke isn’t one to like women…

Luke sits down and puts a bottle of Baileys on the counter.

“You thought of everything!” I tell him.

“I knew Mr. Cranky Pants there would need alcohol for this one,” he says, pointing at Dex with his thumb.

“I already don’t like where this is going!” Dex mumbles.

I serve them both Irish coffee and prepare tea for myself
as they head to one of the private booths in the back.

“So…” I sigh. “She wants Ryan at the wedding, so we have to find him and figure out how to get him there or else!” I cringe, waiting for their answers.

They both raise their eyebrows, trying to register what I’m saying.

“Not it!” they scream at the same time, touching their noses.

  “Fuck! Assholes!”

Their eyes go wide—I never swear.

“Come on! Can’t we all do it together? Please!” I implore them.

“I can find him easily,” Dex says. “Is she threatening to cancel the wedding if he doesn’t show?”

“She says so, but I’m not sure… I think it’s her hormones speaking. I’m more afraid of having to convince Ian to invite him, or convince Ryan to come, or convince Julie it’s not going to happen because Ian doesn’t want him to come or because Ryan doesn’t care. She’s an emotional wreck…” I say, trying not to roll my eyes.

“Because planning this wedding in less than five months wasn’t complicated enough. Now we have to find the guy who should have been her man-of-honor? What am I supposed to do? Help you find the asshole who had the best friend role before me? No way! Ian told me what happened between them. I want to punch him.” Luke says with anger in his eyes.

“Nobody will punch anybody,” Dex answers in a menacing tone certainly thinking of the PR nightmare that would be.

Luke shrugs as if he doesn’t care.

“Here’s what I propose.” Dex is in taking-charge mode as usual. “I’ll help you talk to Ian. Luke will help you talk to Julie if needed. I’ll pinpoint where Ryan is these days. But because you did lose the ‘not it,’ you’re the one taking care of bringing His Majesty Ryan back to Julie.”
