Beauty and the Biker

Page 4

by Brittany Anne

She hitched her leg over his hip, and he held her thigh, bending his knees so that he could press himself into her. She shivered at the feel of his cock so close to her and cursed the clothing that separated them.

She wanted him naked. Bare. In her.

Her hands knotted into his hair as his mouth trailed down her neck, kissing, nibbling, and sucking the whole way down. She writhed in his arms, unable to contain the heat that spread throughout her body.

Isabella was on fire. Nothing had ever felt as amazing.

His kisses against her skin felt so good that she thought she might just explode from them alone.

She remembered their deal. Remembered what Gunner had told her when they’d first gotten together. Until you want it. God, did she want it. She wanted him more than she’d ever wanted anything else.

And instead of telling him that, she’d show him.

“Wait,” she breathed. “Wait a minute.”

He pulled back and stared at her, eyes hungry and primal. “Baby, I don’t know if I’m that strong.” He grabbed her hips and tugged them against him once more.

She pecked his lips and then pulled away. “One minute. Meet me in the bedroom.” She plucked at the top button on his shirt and pressed her lips to his chest. “I’ll be right there.”

She scurried away from him before his kisses could change her mind and let her forget her plan, running into the bathroom and pulling the door shut. She was going to do this right.

Gunner had kicked off his shoes and pulled open the rest of the buttons on his shirt. He laid on the bed, hand falling to his cock and giving it a squeeze. He’d never in his life felt desperation like he did in that moment. And it wasn’t for sex, for release. It was for her.

  Isabella.

He ran his hands through his hair and took a deep breath in.

Then she walked into the bedroom. His jaw damn near fell off it dropped so hard.

“Hey.” Her voice was husky. She wore nothing but a little piece of yellow lace and panties to match it. The lace tied together between her breasts, then fell loosely over her waist and hips.

He leaned up in the bed. She walked closer. When she was only two feet from him, he grabbed her and yanked her into his arms. She yelped and grabbed him, a wide smile on her face the entire time.

“Do you like it?” she asked against his lips.

He squeezed her ass and pressed his mouth to her neck, grazing the soft skin there with his teeth. “You are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen.”

She leaned her head back to give him better access to her neck. He continued kissing her there, then her collar bones, her chest. He got to her breasts and saw her hard nipples poking out through the lacey material that barely covered them.

He pulled it down and took her nipple in his mouth. She gasped and arched her back, making his cock throb.

He used his free hand to massage her other breast as his mouth worked on this one. He flicked his tongue against her nipple and loved the way her body shook with each flick. Then he sucked. Her moans grew louder.

She pulled away from him just enough to grab for his belt. Anticipation grew in his abdomen as she unzipped his pants and yanked them down, his cock springing out. He moved his mouth to her other breast while her hand wrapped around his length and began to massage it.

Gunner felt like he was going to lose his damn mind.

She fell to her knees in front of him, staring up at him with sultry eyes. Then she leaned toward his cock, pressing her lips to the head.

Every muscle in his body tensed.

She moved down, grazing her tongue over his shaft and then moving all the way from the base to the tip before taking his head in her mouth. Her hand wrapped around the shaft as her mouth worked the head. She took him deeper. Lapped at him with her tongue. Sucked at his cock until he couldn’t take another second without exploding.

Then he pulled her back. Satisfaction was clear across her face. He stood and tossed her onto the bed, needing her like the air he breathed.

“Was this little number expensive?” he asked as his hands ran up the lace to her breasts.

  “Why?” she asked.

“Because…” he gripped the material and ripped, tearing it in half in a second.

She gasped. He loved the sound.

He looked to her panties and knew they needed to go. He tore them off and she opened her legs to him. He needed to be inside of her, but first, he needed a taste.

Gunner knelt down and pressed his mouth to her sex. She moaned as her hips moved against him. He licked her clit while her hands knotted into his hair. She tasted like honey, sweet and sinful and just fucking perfect.

She screamed out as she came. He drank in her pleasure, continuing to lick and suck at her until the waves of orgasm finally slowed.

He moved up and positioned himself between her legs. Her face was flushed, eyes light and starving. He took her mouth, and she kissed him with a passion he’d never known. Never thought possible.

It wasn’t just physical, just pleasure. It was more. What they had was more.

“I need you, Gunner.” Her voice was so damn husky, so damn sexy. “Right now.”

He didn’t have to be asked twice.

Gunner pressed the head of his cock into her folds. She was dripping for him, hot and wet and ready. He pushed in slowly, her sex stretching around his throbbing cock.

“You feel so fucking good.” He pushed all the way in, filling her completely. Her pussy clenched at his words, and it drove him wild.

He pulled out, thrust back in. Slow at first, then picking up speed. Control began to shatter as the pleasure took over. Her hips met his thrust for thrust, her moans filling the room as they both gave into their primal need for each other.

Gunner angled his body so that his cock slid against her clit with every thrust. Her moans grew louder. Her nails dug into his back, the bite of pain only driving him more wild. He was so close, too close.

His brain wasn’t working. It was turned off completely. He just knew he needed her, needed to give her pleasure, needed to fill her with his seed.

“Oh, Gunner,” she moaned. “Don’t stop. Please don’t stop.”

He grabbed her hips and held them in place as he pounded into her, giving into the darker side of himself and taking. Hell no, he wasn’t going to stop.

He could feel her sex getting tighter. Her thighs tensed around him.

Her pleasure erupted, waves of orgasm squeezing his cock until he couldn’t take it for another second. He exploded into her, his hips jerking as the ecstasy ripped through him. He just kept coming, as if the pleasure he felt would never end. He moaned her name as her hips pressed upward so that he was completely enveloped in her.

It felt like ages before their breathing slowed to normal, their hearts stopped pounding in their chests. He leaned up onto his forearms and stared down at her.

  No, it wasn’t just sex.

“Can we do that again?” she asked.

He broke out into laughter. “Hell fucking yes, we can.”

He fell into her. His Isabella. His wife. His.

  Chapter Six

Gunner stretched in bed, a smile etched across his face as he reached for the beautiful woman next to him.

  Only, Isabella wasn’t there.

His eyes opened, and the bed was empty. The sheets where she should be were cold.

He jumped up and out of bed, pulling on his sweats and walking out into the main room.

She was sitting at the kitchen counter, head in her hands and staring down at her cell phone. Uh oh.

Gunner stalked toward her. “What’s wrong?”

She jumped at his voice. Then her shoulders relaxed. “My dad is in the hospital.” She bit her lip and hid her face in her hands again. “He could di
e, Gunner.” Her voice cracked with tears.

Gunner rushed to her side and reached out to her, rubbing her back. “Hey, hey. What happened?”

She turned and looked up at him. “I think he OD’d. He didn’t say. He just said he’s in the hospital, then stopped answering.” Her lower lip trembled.

Gunner took a deep inhale. He fisted his hands at his side. “Go to him.”

Her eyes went wide, brows raised. “What?”

He bit the inside of his cheek. “Go to him,” he repeated.

She just stared up at him, so he did his best to guard his expression. He wouldn’t let her see what was going on in his head.

  “But, the dinner…”

“It’s fine,” he lied. “My dad mostly just wants to see me.” More lies. He only wanted to see her, see how she felt… “It’s not a big deal. You kept your part of the deal. We’re good.”

Her lower lip had fallen a bit, and he wanted to bite it. Kiss it. Grab her and keep her there forever. He never wanted to see a day without her.

Especially not this day. Not the day that decided his future, both their futures.

But she wouldn’t be okay until she saw her father. She couldn’t pretend everything was okay while he was in the hospital, even if he was a piece of shit. “Go,” he said once more. “I’ll have Jax drive you there.”

Gunner had a dinner to get ready for. Reception without the bride. That would go over well.

She opened her mouth, then closed it. “Thank you.” She rose on her toes and kissed his cheek, then scurried into the bedroom, most likely to dress and get her things.

Gunner walked down the hall until he came across the office he knew Jax would be sitting in. As expected, the man was behind the desk, eyes intently staring at the computer screen in front of him.

  “What’s up, Foxx?”

“I need you to drive Isabella into town. She needs to visit with her father.”

Jax stood quickly and walked around the desk, confusion plastered across his face. “Uh, come again?”

“You have a car, I don’t at the moment. I don’t feel like taking the bike out, and I have to prepare for later.” Some truths, some lies. What did it even matter at that point?

“She’ll be back by tonight, right? For the party?” His friend was only two feet from him, now.

“I don’t know.” The drive into town was a little more than a half hour. They had a couple hours until dinner, but damn it, he’d slept in. It was midday. They didn’t have long, and he strongly doubted she’d walk in, see her father, and then bounce for the sake of their fake marriage.

Was it really all fake? The sex wasn’t. The pleasure wasn’t. The lo- stop it. Stop it right the fuck now.

“How could you just let her walk out? All of this was for nothing if she’s not at that dinner tonight, man. You know that, don’t you? What the fuck are you thinking?” Jax’s eyes squinted at him.

Jax was a badass. A pretty boy without a conscious. But for Gunner, he was a good friend. He’d always wanted to help him get out of his situation. Always did his best to keep Gunner’s hands just clean enough to make it out.

  “I think I love her.”

Jax nearly snarled. Then huffed out a breath and stormed from the room.

  ∞∞∞

The ride home with Jax was the most awkward thing in the world. Buildings flew by as the wind whipped into the open windows of his sports car. The air smelled like rain, and she knew from the dark gray clouds overhead that a storm was coming.

Her stomach clenched and she crossed her legs. There was a soreness there from the night before. She quite liked it. Her stomach felt like it was in her throat.

“It’s a real piece of shit thing you’re doing, you know that?” Jax’s voice came out like venom. She turned to look at him. Blonde hair, longer on top than on the sides. Swirling tattoos running up and down his muscled arms. Pretty face. That’s what tricked people about Jax. He had a pretty face.

  And an ugly soul.

“Yes, so terrible of me to help my sick father.” Isabella rolled her eyes and crossed her arms over her chest.

“Gunner has been waiting his whole life for this. His only chance.” His jaw clenched, knuckles turned white as he gripped the steering wheel. “And now he’s trapped for life. For some lowlife drug addict.”

Oh, no. She may have said some bad things about her father from time to time, but nobody else would. Especially not this asshole.

“You’re really one to talk. Mock the addict while you are the dealer? Give me a freaking break.” Anger pulsed through her.

“I’m not a dealer.” His voice was low, harsh, robotic. She shivered.

She knew who Jax was. He was danger. Evil. A monster.

But… didn’t she think all those things about Gunner once? Her heart ached. “Gunner wouldn’t have told me to go if it was going to be a problem.” He didn’t even hesitate, she never even asked.

“You don’t see it, do you?” Jax’s voice had gone softer for a moment.

“See what?” She could feel her brows crinkle.

  “Pretty obvious he loves you.”

Her heart leapt up in her chest. She brought her hand to it, sucked in a sharp breath of air. “He doesn’t love me.” He couldn’t. Didn’t. They barely knew each other. Barely…

“He told me himself before we left.”

The words hung in the air as Jax pulled up outside of Isabella’s home. She felt frozen in place.

  Gunner… loved her?

“Do you need a ride to the hospital?” He sounded impatient and tapped his thumb against the wheel.

“No,” she finally said. “No, I’ll be okay.”

Isabella began getting out of the car, then paused, turning to Jax. “You really care about him, don’t you?”

Jax smiled, and for a second, his whole demeanor changed. Lightened. “Yeah,” he started. “Yeah, I do.”

She smiled. “Thank you.” Gunner deserved someone in his life who cared about him.

I care about him. I more than care about him.

She swallowed hard and turned to the door, shoving her key into the lock as Jax pulled away. When the door swung open, her dad sat there, waiting for her, smiling a grin that looked absolutely wicked.

  Chapter Seven

“I don’t understand,” Isabella said. “You’re supposed to be in the hospital.”

Her dad stood from the couch and sauntered forward, grabbing for her and pulling her into a hug. He smelled of tobacco, but the usual smell of beer was missing from his breath.

  “I’m fine, baby.”

Her mind was spinning. She pulled away from him. “You lied?”

His grin grew even wider. “I saved you. I didn’t think it would work, but thank God-”

“You lied to me!” She left Gunner for nothing, ruined his entire life for nothing. She felt so much anger. “Gunner needed me and I left thinking you were sick.”

“Why do you care what he needs? He took you, and I saved you.”

Her breath was coming quick. Why did she care so much about his needs? Yeah, they’d been spending time together, and yeah, they had the best sex of her entire life, but she was just a prisoner. A deal. A means to an end. Wasn’t she? And wasn’t that all he was to her?

No. No, at some point, he became a whole lot more.

At some point, he became a man she loved. She swallowed hard as the realization hit her.

  She loved him.

  She loved Gunner Foxx.

As if he was listening to her thoughts, her dad’s smile faded and his eyes grew wider. “You actually care about him, don’t you? Sweetie, he caught you up in his trap, you’ve gotta listen-”

“Dad, stop.” She didn’t want to hear him talk badly about the man she… loved. “You actually tried to save me.” Her f
irst reaction was anger, but how could he have known she’d changed her mind about her marriage deal?

He didn’t smell like liquor. For the first time in years. That had to mean something- didn’t it?

“I haven’t touched a thing since you left. I’ve been so broken up about it… that I got you into that spot. That you sacrificed yourself for me again.” He turned from her and ran a hand over his jaw. “I’m your dad. I’m supposed to be the one who saves you. I guess I just felt like it was time.”

A tear slipped from her eye and Isabella wrapped her arms around her father. He hugged her back. They stayed like that for awhile, just holding each other and connecting on a genuine level for the first time since she was a child.

Then she pulled back, a decade’s worth of emotional weight finally lifted from her shoulders.

“So I guess he’s not that bad, huh?”

She laughed, but it didn’t sound quite right due to the tears that still pooled in her eyes. “No. No, he’s not that bad.”

“I always used to read you those fairytale books when you were a baby. Told you you’d find a prince one day to save you.”

She laughed and nodded, feeling warm at the cozy childhood memory. “I loved those stories.

“I know you did. But baby, I was wrong. You’ve been the hero all along. It was always you.” His mouth trembled when he spoke those words. And then she was in his arms again, tears flowing freely.

“If you care about him that much, and if he needs you… don’t let me stop you just because I was trying to play hero for once.”

She smiled, then pulled back. His eyes were clear, present. He was there with her. Really there.

Isabella had waited for this day for so long.

She leaned in and kissed his cheek, then pulled back. “Thank you, dad. Thank you.”

She knew what she had to do next.

Gunner pulled on his suit jacket and stared at himself in the mirror. He cleaned up nice, all things considered. He tightened his tie, black as the rest of his outfit. He felt like he was mourning, not celebrating.
