The Wild Child

She pursed her lips. “Because you’re harping on some shit that you supposedly forgave me for.”
I squinted again. “Who said that I forgave you?”
Her head jerked back. “Well, excuse the hell out of me.”
“Oh,” I licked my lips. “You thought because we fucked after the argument that everything was all good?”
Her lips were tight as she said nothing.
“See, that’s your problem. You think that pussy is the cure to everything, when it’s really a cheap fix. Us fucking aint gon erase all the bullshit floating around on the internet. Pussy aint gon change the beef I now have with Dorian’s bitch ass. You think I like how that nigga is letting people say that yall got a thing going on? His bitch ass aint got enough respect to even deny it. Yet, you think that a few dick sucks is gonna ease my mind. The more I think about it—” I swooped into a Whataburger’s parking lot, after exiting off the freeway. Spotting an empty spot, I parked, before focusing on her. “The more I think about it, maybe we’re going about this shit all wrong.”
She scowled. “I’m not following you.”
“I’m saying that maybe our family was onto something when they said that we needed to experience shit without each other.”
“How the fuck did you come to that conclusion?” she snapped.
“We’re young as fuck, girl. And I’m sitting here arguing with you about shit that you’re supposed to do. You out here finding yourself. You wanna have fun, as you should. Shit, me too. So, maybe we’re trying to be something before its time. Maybe you need to be single and see what this world is like. You shouldn’t have to apologize for doing your thing. I should be able to do shit without feeling guilt. We don’t wanna keep going until this shit gets toxic. I mean, we could still be meant to be…just not right now. Shit, maybe that’s for the best…cause this right here…aint us.”
“Jeremy, just shut the hell up,” she snarled.
I cut my eyes at her. “What’s all that for, when I’m just trying to have real talk with you?”
“No, this is not real talk. This is you coming from a place of anger. Yeah, we’re young as fuck. Yeah, people are gonna think back to how foolish they were at our ages. Of course, our family don’t want us moving too fast, making them feel old. But none of that shit is about us. We’re together because that’s what we want. It’s what we need. Yeah, we could break up and then head back to Cali. But what you’re failing to realize is that you’d be miserable. We both would, because we’re happiest together. We just have to learn how to perfect being us. We have to create concrete boundaries and respect them. We have to realize that we’re not our parents. They had us young enough to where we were able to witness their fuck-ups, as well as how they got it right. We know that the weight of the real world can be taxing, so we keep shit light. We go to school and chase our dreams. That’s it. And when shit aint right between us…we talk it out. We don’t ignore it like we did this time. Letting it fester. I’m willing to go out of my way to switch shit up, because you’re that important to me. Gloria…she’s cut off. Period. And yes, I like to have fun, but that doesn’t have to mean that I’m partaking in anything that makes you uncomfortable. I’m willing to compromise. We don’t have to lose ourselves, get found, and all that other shit to be together. We can learn shit and grow together. Long story short…nigga, you’ve lost your everlasting mind, if you think that we’re about to break up.”
I leaned my head sideways, as I listened intently. There was some shit that I needed to say, although I wished that I could keep to myself. “Keeping it real, I thought about cheating tonight.”
There was a moment of silence in the car, as I heard her swallow hard. “I can’t believe you admitted that. Are…are you trying to hurt me?”
“Nah,” I shook my head. “If that was the case, I would’ve done this shit versus telling you about it.”
“But why tell me?”
“Because I want you to know how you got me feeling. I usually don’t see them other hoes, because you’re everything I need. I look at those other bitches and I see why they’re not better than you. I can say that I’m with the best bitch around and mean it, but you placed doubt in my head. Doubt opens the door to a whole lot of bullshit, Jhyrah.”
She nodded with tears in her eyes.
“Man,” I groaned. “Don’t do that. I didn’t tell you that to make you cry.”
“I know you didn’t,” she sniveled. “I’m crying because I’m mad at myself. I was being childish and could’ve fucked up everything. I…I just want us to get it together. Please tell me that you’re willing.”
Leaning over the console, I kissed her lips. “Stop crying,” I whispered, while wiping away her tears. “And you know that I’m always willing.”
***
“Come on, girl, get out the car,” I urged, after parking in my parents’ driveway.
Jhyrah sat in my passenger’s seat with her arms crossed. “I’m not getting out of this car.”
I frowned. “Why not?”
“Because. This is your parents’ house, Jeremy. I’m not doing anything in there.”
I chuckled. “Jhyrah, quit the bullshit. How many times have I fucked you in there?”
She rolled her eyes. “Too many to count.”
“Alright, then. Act like you know.”
“That was different, Jeremy. We were mostly sneaking in quickies, and then I’d take my ass home. It’s three in the morning. This is past spending the night and I’ve never outwardly done that. So, let’s just go get a room or something.”
“Nah, man, like you said, it’s three in the morning. I’m too tired to find a hotel…shit, in fact, you know that we can’t check in anywhere decent until four in the afternoon. I mean, unless you wanna hit up a motel or something.”
“Hell, nah,” she quickly answered, as she pushed her door open.
I chuckled, as I eased out of my ride. Then we traveled over to the front door, and I let us inside. Knowing that everybody was knocked out, we quietly ascended the stairs. Jhyrah’s scary ass then raced to my room. Of course, I stepped in behind her and locked the door.
“Come’ere,” I breathed, pulling her into my arms, before massaging her ass.
She wrapped her arms tightly around me. “I love you.”
“Love you too.” I kissed her lips.
“You forgive me?”
I nodded.
“No, I need to hear you say it.”
“I forgive you, Jhyrah. Just don’t ever do the shit again. And I’m talking about the club and that situation with Dorian.”
She nodded. “I promise.”
Kissing her, I drove her into my bed, and she fell into it.
“Jeremy,” she whined, as I climbed on top of her. “Don’t make too much noise.”
I sucked my teeth. “Girl, chill out. Aint nobody thinking about me.”
“What you saying? You’ve brought girls up here and fucked in the middle of the night before?”
“Jhyrah,” I huffed, as I yanked her shorts down. “Stop it.”
“I’m just saying,” she whined, as I fully undressed her.
“Shut up and give me some pussy.” I slid a finger between her slit. “Why this pussy dripping wet?”
“Because,” she sighed, as she arched her back. “She misses you.”
I slipped my tongue into her mouth, as I stroked her clit. Eventually, she eased my shirt over my head, before unbuckling my belt. She helped me ease out of my jeans and boxers, before she gripped my dick. Pushing her legs onto her shoulders, she guided me inside of her.
“Ugh,” she moaned, biting her bottom lip.
“What happened to being quiet?” I grinned, as pushed myself deeper into her.
“It’s been a minute,” she gritted.
“Two and a half days, Jhyrah?”
“It’s been three,” she corrected me.
Lowering my head, I slobbered her down. “She really missed this dick, huh? She’s gripping.”

; She nodded, while squeezing her walls around me.
“Oh, I swear to God this pussy is so good. You gone marry me one day, Jhyrah? Huh?”
“Yessssss.” She sank her nails into my back.
Rotating my dick, I hit the corners on the pussy.
“Oouuuu, Jeremyyyyyyy, I love you so fucking much.”
Gazing down at her, my dick swelled a bit more, as I realized how much she loved me being inside of her. And if I was being honest with myself…there was no place better than being inside of her.
Chapter 17
Jhyrah
I woke up realizing that I was still in Jeremy’s bed, which I had forgotten while sleeping. Wiggling a tad, I felt his arms wrapped around me. I shook my head, as I felt his soft dick resting against my thigh. His ass was bold as fuck, laying up with me naked, under his parents’ roof. I’d probably be too scared to do that with my daddy around, even once I’m 40. Hell, unlike him, I’d grabbed one of his shirts to sleep in, just in case somebody came busting in the room. Yeah, he’d assured me that his door was locked, but I wasn’t taking any chances.
Lifting my phone, I realized that it was just seven in the morning. I was about to snuggle in and take my ass back to sleep, when my cell rang, when I saw my mama’s face flash across the screen. She was facetiming me. Any other time, I would’ve simply called her back when I was up, but this was different. I was here in Houston and hadn’t come home the night before. I knew that she wasn’t going to stop calling until I answered.
“Hey, mama, what’s up?” I answered, as I attempted to discreetly scoot out of Jeremy’s embrace.
My mama was seemingly studying the screen. “You know your daddy woke up raising hell, because you’re not here. Where are you?”
I bit my bottom lip. “Safe.”
She frowned. “Little girl, don’t play with me. Where are you?”
I closed one eye. “At Uncle Jay Rock and Auntie Paris’”
My mama shook her head. “Why didn’t you just say with Jeremy, Jhyrah?”
I threw my head back. “Because.”
“Because what?”
“Because I don’t want yall getting mad at me.”
“Mad? Why would we be mad at you for being with your boyfriend?”
“Mama, you know how your husband is.”
“That I do,” she agreed. “But let me ask you this.”
I arched a brow. “Okay.”
“Is Jay Rock and Paris home?”
“I guess.”
“Well, I’m about to double check, because if they are, me and your daddy are on our way over there.”
“For what?” I groaned.
“Don’t worry about all that. You’ll see. We’ll be over there in the next 30 minutes.”
I took a deep breath as I ended the call, while Jeremy chuckled.
“That’s not funny,” I snapped.
“Yes, it is. You over there shaking in your damn boots, but always wanna talk shit. It’ll be alright. Now, come on, let’s get a quickie in before they get here.”
I sucked my teeth. “Boy, bye.” I pushed him off me, before sitting up. Before I could place my feet on the floor, someone was knocking on the door.
Jeremy sat up. “Yeah?”
“Jhyrah in there with you?” Jay Rock asked through the door.
“Yeah.”
“Okay, yall come downstairs. We need to talk.”
Me and Jeremy locked eyes.
I shook my head, as I eased out of bed. “See, I told you.”
He sighed. “Jhyrah, chill out. I mean, it aint like they can whup us or some shit. The fussing aint changing nothing. We still gon go home and do whatever we want. So, quit stressing this shit.” He shrugged, as he hopped up.
“Whatever.” I rolled my eyes, while rummaging through his dresser, in search of some shorts.
A few minutes later, we were both dressed, which did nothing for my anxiety.
“Why didn’t you put your own clothes back on?” Jeremy taunted.
“Leave me alone,” I huffed, as I pulled his door open.
He smirked. “Yeah, that’s what I thought. That means that your ass shouldn’t have been wearing that bullshit to begin with.”
We fussed back and forth, as we jogged downstairs. By the time we reached the living room, my parents were already seated right along with Jeremy’s.
I glanced around nervously. “That was a short 30 minutes.”
“I know, huh,” my daddy answered sarcastically. “And what happened to you coming home last night?”
I scratched the back of my neck. Hell, I didn’t know what to say. Excuses I’d give anybody else would just exasperate things with my daddy. I couldn’t say that I was too tipsy, because I wasn’t supposed to be drinking. I couldn’t say that I needed to give Jeremy his nightly shot, without my daddy strangling us both.
“It got late…and it was easier to—” I was about to lie. “I just wanted to be with Jeremy, daddy,” I admitted instead.
Uncle Jay Rock hid a smirk. “Yall sit down. I think it’s time that we have a real talk.”
“Yeah,” Auntie Paris co-signed.
Timidly, I sat next to Auntie Paris, and Jeremy sat next to me.
My mama giggled. “Jhyrah, you are so damn dramatic. Stop making it look like we beat you or some shit.”
My daddy shook his head. “That’s cause her ass knows better than to stay out all night and not let us know anything. That aint how we roll. Aint that right, Jhyrah?”
I nodded, as I swallowed a lump in my throat. “You’re right, daddy. I guess that I’ve gotten use to be away from home.”
“And doing shit however you want, right?” he finished the statement for me.
I tucked my lips into my mouth. “I guess you could say that.”
“Hmm,” my mama moaned. “Since we’re talking, how often do you sleep at your dorm room, Jhyrah?”
I paused, as I thought about how to answer that.
“And don’t lie,” my daddy voiced. “Yall should be beyond that. We trusted you to live across the country and don’t fuck around and violate that trust. Tell the truth.”
“She never slept in that room,” Jeremy spoke up, causing me to whip my head around and glare at him. “Why you looking at me like that? They said be honest.”
Uncle Jay Rock furrowed his brows, while absently gazing at his nails. I guess he expected my daddy to be livid like I did.
My daddy nodded. “I did ask for that, but I damn I wanted yall to lie.” he grabbed his forehead.
My mama cut her eyes at him. “Really, Jahrein?”
He lifted his head. “What? You want me to lie?”
She rolled her eyes and pursed her lips. “So, what you’re telling us is that we’ve been wasting our money on that dorm?”
“I mean, I told her to talk to yall about us staying together, but she was too scared to ask,” Jeremy revealed, acting like he had word vomit. He just wouldn’t stop.
“Well, I can understand why,” Uncle Jay Rock offered. “Yall are young as shit.”
“They are,” Auntie Paris agreed. “But we were all shacking up at their ages and had babies. Luckily, for them, they don’t have kids. And at the end of the day we can’t stop them from doing anything, realistically. I mean, we could put out demands, but that won’t change anything. So, we need to take this for what it is.”
“True,” my mama surprisingly concurred. “That’s why I’m flying out the buy a condo out there.”
“Huh?” I frowned in confusion.
She smirked. “Calm down. It’s for yall. I was thinking about it. You know that I try to buy up space everywhere I go. So, I was thinking that buying a condo can serve multiple purposes. You, Jeremy, and Jared can be my tenants for now. And when yall are done with school I can rent it out. And to make sure that everything remains fair, I’d have all three of yall sign lease agreements, making it legal. The space would be no more yours than it is theirs.”
Jeremy nonchalantly shrugge
d. “I’m cool with it.”
My daddy lifted his chin. “You cool with it, huh? You been using them condoms I gave you?”
“Daddy,” I gasped.
“Oh, Jhyrah, please,” my mama cut in. “We all know that you’re giving it up. And don’t think for a second that we didn’t realize that yall are always laid up, prior to today. I do enough snooping through my kids’ pages, since you blocked me. I know Jeremy’s damn bathroom when I see it, and you take a selfie in there every damn morning.”
My daddy stroked his waves, as he gazed at my mama. “Baby, I want you to go with her ass to the doctor. Make sure that she’s on birth control, cause something in my soul just told me that this lil’ nigga still got a drawer full of unopen condoms.”
Uncle Jay Rock let out a chuckle, as he nodded. “My nigga, you on to something there. I know my son, so Raven definitely need to stay on that shit. On me.”
Jeremy
“This broad is working my fucking nerves, man,” Jared grumbled, as I rode shotgun in his Maserati.
“What’s going down?” I questioned curiously.
He sucked his teeth, while gripping the steering wheel. “She knows that we’ve been planning to link up and now she’s claiming that we can’t kick it, unless I got somebody for her cousin.”
I shrugged. “See if Jerrod will go with you.”
He cut his eyes at me. “Nigga, please. That pussy whipped nigga aint finna go nowhere. Ever since he got Emily pregnant, he acts like he can’t make a move without her right by his side.”
I nodded, knowing that my brother did let his girl call the shots. “Okay, what about Jaylen?”
Jared rubbed his chin. “I already texted him. He’s out of town.”
I yawned. “Well, shit, I don’t know what to tell you. Reconvene with the broad later. Shit, she sounds like she comes with too much bullshit, anyway.”
“Yeah?” he handed me his cell. “You see that?”
I glanced down at the picture on his screen. He had pulled a pretty lil’ something. She had a reddish color like an Indian along with pretty hazel eyes. She was slender but had some hips on her.
“She fire,” I admitted, as I handed his cell back to him.
“Exactly,” he nodded. “And she aint even from around here. She lives way out in Dallas. She only came to visit her cousin because she wanted to see me, before I head back to Cali.”
