  He was going to catch up.

  She had to hurry.

  She had to get to the house…before it was too late.

  Ally sprinted forward as her eyes shifted ahead, spotting the end of the woods…her back lawn visible through the spaces between the thick tree trunks.

  She was almost there.

  She was almost home.

  Ally’s heart sped in her chest as she dunked down, rushing beneath a set of low branches and pushed through the trees, running into her back lawn. Her eyes settled onto the glass patio door in the distance. She was almost there. Just a few more feet…

  Ally sped forward, her calves aching with exhaustion; the pain radiating up her ankles and to her thighs. Ally leaped onto the concrete patio, dodging a set of white wicker chairs, and rushed to the back door. She threw her right hand forward, wrapping it tightly around the metal handle…as she felt a set of muscular arms wrap around her waist from behind.

  “Gotcha!” Kendrick screamed out as he lifted Ally off of her feet, holding her into the air in his strong arms.

  “Damn it! I thought I lost you!” Ally giggled as Kendrick placed her back down onto her feet.

  “I guess we can call this one a tie,” Kendrick said as he checked the black Fitbit on his wrist, following Ally through the glass door and into the kitchen of their home.

  “Bullshit! I won this round fair and square,” Ally turned, smiling towards Kendrick as she watched him slide his wrist along his sweaty forehead; his muscular arms that stuck out through his white wife beater top, plastered in perspiration.

  “I’ll win this round, though,” Kendrick smiled coyly as he wrapped his hands around Ally’s hips and lifted her up, placing her onto the edge of the kitchen island.

  “Wanna bet?” Ally smiled as Kendrick stepped forward, placing his body between her legs, as she draped her arms over his broad shoulders and pulled him closer. Their wet lips pressed together…as his sweet tongue slipped into her mouth, dancing with hers gently.

  “All bets are off,” Kendrick said, breathless, as he grabbed the bottom of his wife beater and pulled it off over his head, revealing his slick chiseled body; his abs, gleaming in the morning sunlight that peeked in through the glass patio door. His shirt dropped to the floor as he reached forward, grabbing the bottom of Ally’s tank top, and pulled it off over her head.

  Ally smiled as she reached back, pulling out the hair tie, as her long brown locks fell down and against her damp back. Kendrick leaned forward, clawing at her white sports bra, as his mouth locked around her shoulder, sucking vigorously on her collarbone. Ally tilted her head back as she felt her vagina growing wet, ready for him to take her there. Kendrick stepped back and slipped his basketball shorts to the floor, his long, throbbing cock extended in front of her, every vein pulsating at the surface. Ally grabbed the straps of her sports bra and pulled it off, revealing her perky, round breasts, her nipples erect and hardened. Kendrick smiled widely as Ally leaned back on the kitchen island…his strong hands wrapping tightly around the waistband of her spandex shorts…and pulled them down, revealing the moist fortress between her trembling legs.

  Ally sat back up, her bare bottom pressed tightly on the edge of the countertop as Kendrick stepped closer between her legs…pushing the thick head of his penis between her vaginal lips and into her, nice and slow. Ally groaned in ecstasy as she felt his cock fill her, stretching the walls inside of her, feeling his member throbbing. Kendrick thrusted forward, sliding his cock in and out between her legs as he leaned forward, sucking on her neck as she clawed at his muscular back…her nails digging into his tan flesh.

  “Fuck yeah, baby,” Kendrick said, breathless, as he thrusted into her, harder and faster.

  “Fuck me, baby. Give me that cock,” Ally said, her chest heaving up and down, as she leaned back, her bare back pressed to the countertop. Kendrick wrapped his hands around her thighs, pulling her closer and further down onto his penis as he thrusted. Ally slid back and forth along the countertop as she grabbed her breasts, squeezing them tightly…gliding her hands up her neck and through her long hair strung out along the white tile, her eyes tightly shut…

  She then felt one of Kendrick’s large, calloused hands wrap tightly around her throat. Ally’s eyes shot open…as he tightened his grip…her lungs filling with air.

  “Ken…” Ally said, struggling to breathe…as his dark eyes glared down at her, thrusting harder and harder inside of her. “Kendrick!” Ally choked out.

  He wasn’t listening.

  He didn’t care.

  Ally’s heart sped in her chest…as Kendrick’s other hand moved to her throat, both of them now wrapped around her throat…strangling her. Ally threw her hands up, slamming them against Kendrick’s chest.

  She…she couldn’t breathe. Ally’s cheeks grew purple as Kendrick continued to thrust into her, harder and harder. Ally’s nails clawed at his chest, trying to signal…trying to tell him.

  She couldn’t speak.

  She couldn’t scream.

  She was helpless.

  Ally grinded her teeth behind her purple lips…as she dragged her nails down his chest, the edge of her nails slicing into his flesh…drawing blood.

  “Ah! What the fuck!” Kendrick snapped as he quickly stepped back, releasing Ally’s throat…pulling his member out of her. “God damn it!” Kendrick snapped as he ran his hands along the scratch marks on his chest, tiny blotches of blood on his fingers.

  “What the fuck is your problem?” Ally coughed as the air rushed back into her lungs. Ally quickly sat up onto the counter and leaped off of the edge, her bare feet slamming onto the cold tile floor.

  “Are you fucking crazy?” Kendrick snapped as he reached down, snatching his basketball shorts from the floor.

  “Me? I nearly passed out, Kendrick! What the fuck is wrong with you? There’s rough and then there’s that!” Ally cried, her voice hoarse and her hair hanging in her face, as she clutched her throbbing throat in her hand. Ally quickly snatched her clothes from the floor, carrying them in her arms, as she rushed towards the kitchen doorway ahead.

  “You’re not going to finish me?” Kendrick called out, his hard cock pressed tightly against the inside of his shorts.

  “There’s some lotion in the bathroom; fuck yourself for all I care!” Ally snapped as she stepped through the doorway and into the foyer, storming towards the stairs. She had never seen him like that before. His eyes…filled with rage…burning right through her.

  It was a part of him she had never seen before…

  It was a part of him she never wanted to see again.

  Ally wrapped her hand tightly around the champagne glass in front of her that sat on Victoria’s black dining room table and took a long sip of the red wine inside. Ally stared up at the diamond chandelier that hung above as her mind slowly cleared, the conversations that surrounded her growing louder in her ears.

  “Forty minutes?” Victoria said, her mouth wide open in shock, as she placed her polished hand to her chest.

  “I swear!” Connelly giggled as she sipped from a glass of pink Moscato in her hand. “I thought I wasn’t going to walk right for a week. He just kept going and going!”

  “I’m shocked you could even stand up!” Victoria giggled as Lillian snorted, almost spitting out the white wine in her mouth.

  “God, Silas needs to teach Derek a thing or two! I swear, two minutes, tops; every fucking time,” Victoria sighed as she rolled her eyes and leaned back in the white dining chair, swirling the red wine in her glass gently.

  “Really?” Connelly gasped, stunned, as she looked to Lillian beside her at the table.

  “So, can I ask a question? I know it’s probably super personal,” Lillian smiled as her eyes drifted to Victoria.

  “God, do I even want to know?” Victoria laughed as she sipped from her wine.

  “Can he…I mean…he’s an older man. Does he have to…use anything?” Lillian asked as she bit her lip ner
vously.

  “Are you kidding me? I wear a lowcut top and he creams his pants,” Victoria cackled as Connelly and Lillian busted into laughter. “I’m serious! I find precum stains in his underwear all the time!”

  “Don’t tell me he wears…like, tighty whities,” Lillian smirked.

  “The ugliest fucking pair you can imagine; they show shit stains and everything. I go through two bottles of bleach at least once a week,” Victoria nodded as Connelly giggled loudly, nearly hunched over in her chair.

  “Ally?”

  All she kept thinking about…were his eyes…burning into her. She could still feel his hands…wrapped tightly around her neck…squeezing tighter and tighter.

  “Ally,” Lillian said once more…as Ally broke from her trance and looked to the other girls.

  “What?” Ally asked, confused.

  “What’s up?” Lillian asked as Victoria and Connelly looked towards her, sipping their wine.

  “What do you mean? I’m fine,” Ally said as she faked a smile and sipped from her glass, finishing every last drop.

  “You’ve never been good at lying,” Victoria said, her eyes glued to Ally from across the table, her eyebrows arched.

  “I am not lying!” Ally giggled nervously. She knew they could see right through her. She was transparent to them.

  “We’re all friends here. If there’s something you want to talk about, then say it. You know we’re here to listen. That’s why we have these hormone infested sessions,” Connelly joked as she reached across the table and rubbed Ally’s arm softly. Ally hesitated…as she bit her lip…and sat her wine glass onto the table. Her fingers picked at the edge of the glass…as she struggled to straighten out all the twisted thoughts spinning through her foggy head.

  “What is it?” Lillian asked, concerned, as she sat up in her chair, staring at Ally.

  “Something…something really weird happened with Kendrick today. Something…not normal,” Ally said, her eyes down to the tabletop.

  “Ally, we told you this last week; it’s totally normal for a guy to ask you to slip a finger up there. It gets them going. Shit, Derek likes two,” Victoria smirked. Connelly turned her head, glaring to Victoria. “Sorry,” Victoria said as she glanced down to her lap.

  “Go on,” Connelly nodded as she looked back to Ally.

  “We…we got back from our run and we started…right there in the kitchen. Things were going great. I was turned on. I was…I was hot,” Ally nodded as she circled her finger around the rim of the glass. “And then he grabbed my throat…with both hands. I…I was terrified. I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t scream. I panicked…and the only way I could get him to stop was by clawing into his chest. I’ve just never seen him like that. He’s never been into that rough stuff. But this was…more than rough. He seemed so…angry. It was like it wasn’t him.”

  “Has he still not gone to the doctor?” Connelly asked.

  “No, he won’t go. He doesn’t believe in bipolar disorders or anxiety. Talking to him about it is like talking to a brick wall,” Ally said as tears flooded her eyes. “I’ve never been more scared…than I was today…on that counter,” Ally said as her watery eyes moved from Connelly to Lillian and Victoria.

  “Maybe he was just trying something new? I mean, maybe he thought you’d be into it?” Victoria asked with a shrug.

  “I couldn’t breathe, Victoria! I was literally choking!” Ally snapped as she leaned back in her chair and brought her hand to her tender throat.

  “I mean, me and Tatum play rough; ball gags and whips sometimes. But…we never almost made the other pass out. That’s pretty…extreme,” Lillian nodded as she reached across the table and grabbed Ally’s trembling hand tightly.

  “It may sound like I’m being dramatic,” Ally shrugged. “But this wasn’t like a small choke; his hands…were digging into the sides of my neck. His thumbs…were pressed so tightly into the center of my throat that I felt like they were going to break through my skin.”

  “Did you talk to him about it? Does he know that wasn’t OK?” Connelly asked.

  “No,” Ally shook her head. “Right after that, he took a shower and went to work. I haven’t talked to him since this morning,” Ally said as she checked her watch; eight-thirty p.m.

  “You need to talk to him. He needs to know that shit isn’t OK,” Victoria nodded as she crossed her arms over her purple Prada sweater. She wanted to tell them about the weird phone call…from the woman this morning. But this was already so heavy. She didn’t want to ruin their girls’ night. She didn’t want to make this night all about her and her issues.

  “I guess you’re right,” Ally nodded as she grabbed the bottle of red wine from the top of the table and filled her glass.

  “Liquid courage?” Lillian smirked as she watched the red liquid rise to the rim of the glass.

  “I need all the help I can get,” Ally smiled as she placed the bottle down…and took a big sip.

  ~~~
  Ally wrapped her arms tightly around her body as the cool summer breeze danced around her thin frame. Her eyes adjusted to the darkness as she made her way down the sidewalk and through the silent neighborhood of Magnolia Cove. Victoria only lived a few houses down, so she always walked on their girls’ nights. Ally squinted as she stepped beneath a bright streetlight…making her way towards her home just a few feet ahead.
  Ally’s golden sequin Dolce and Gabbana flats clicked along the stone sidewalk that lead up to her front porch…as her eyes stared ahead…
  To the large oak front door of her home…slightly ajar. Ally swallowed hard as she wrapped her arms tighter around her stomach…her gut twisting inside of her. Did she leave it open?
  She couldn’t have.
  She was always so good about locking the door; even in a safe place like Magnolia Cove. Ally swallowed hard as she made her way up the front porch steps…and stopped at the open front door. Ally placed her palm firmly onto the wooden surface and pushed it open.
  “Kendrick?” Ally called out…as her voice echoed through the dark foyer inside. Ally took one last deep breath…as she stepped through the front door…and closed it tightly behind her.
  Connelly
  Connelly closed the front door tightly behind her as she stepped into the quiet foyer of her home. She reached forward, turning a table lamp on that sat on a side table in the corner, lighting up the dark foyer.
  “Silas, are you here?” Connelly called out as she began to unbutton her white and pink plaid shirt, revealing her white tank top underneath.
  “I’m in here,” Silas called out through the doorway to her right. Connelly stepped through the doorway and into the living room…to see Silas sitting on the large white leather sectional. His bare feet were propped up on the edge of the glass coffee table; a large sixty-five-inch flat screen was mounted on the wall above the brick mantle, displaying the latest football game.
  “Enjoying it while you can?” Connelly smirked as she took off her plaid shirt and draped it onto a white recliner beside the sofa.
  “Yeah, it’s Grey’s Anatomy tonight, right?” Silas asked as he tilted his head back, resting it on the top of the sofa.
  “You’re favorite, right?” Connelly smiled sarcastically as she leaned down, kissing Silas on the lips. Connelly then stepped over his legs and climbed onto his lap, straddling him on the couch. She gripped his broad shoulders tightly, staring down at him, as she combed her blonde hair back from her face.
  “Careful, we’ve only got…” Silas said as he checked his watch. “Seven more minutes until it starts,” Silas smiled up at Connelly as she looked down to him.
  “Better take a short cut, then,” Connelly grinned as she reached down, pushing her right hand through the waistband of his plaid pajama pants and cupped his cock in her palm.
  “My favorite,” Silas smiled widely…as Connelly cupped Silas’ cheek with her other hand, their mouths devouring one another. Connelly slowly rocked back and forth, working her buttocks along
his lap as she massaged his penis with her warm hand.
  BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
  “Shit,” Connelly sighed as she ripped her lips from Silas’ and sat up on top of him.
  “Damn it,” Silas sighed as he grabbed her thighs, moving her off of him.
  “Do you have to take it?” Connelly sighed as she plopped down onto the couch.
  “I’m on call,” Silas said as he pointed to his radio placed on the edge of the coffee table. Silas stood up, tucking his throbbing member between his legs, as he walked to the side table beside the recliner and grabbed his iPhone. “Good God,” Silas groaned as he rolled his eyes, throwing his head back.
  “What?” Connelly asked as Silas walked back to the couch and plopped down beside her.
  “Guess who,” Silas sighed as he handed Connelly his phone. Connelly took the iPhone into her hand…to see the horrific name flashing on his screen.
  It was Fiona Lee.
  Silas’ ex-wife.
  “I thought you said she stopped?” Connelly sighed angrily, her eyes burning into Silas.
  “I thought she did. She’s fucking crazy,” Silas groaned. Connelly glared down at the phone in her hand as she tapped the ignore button.
  “I told you to block her,” Connelly said sternly as she crossed her arms over her white tank top.
  “There’s no point! She’ll just get a new number and do the same shit again,” Silas said, his jaw tight.
  “You don’t know that. Maybe…maybe she’ll take a hint?”
  “Fiona…take a hint? Are you kidding me?” Silas snorted as Connelly shrugged.
  “I figured she’d be over the divorce by now. I mean, it’s been eight years,” Connelly said as she looked to Silas beside her.
  “What can I say? I am one unforgettable bastard,” Silas smiled as Connelly rolled her eyes.
